About six or so weeks ago,

I agreed
in a moment of imbecility

that I wouldn't
have sex with Billie Lou
until our wedding night.

As you might suspect,
I've been anticipating nightfall

with rising expectations.

We get back to our place,
we got our clothes off,
we got in bed.

- Expectations fail to rise.
- Worse.

I'm in the World Series.

Pratt was found shot to death,

I never really

shoots three of our own,

they deserve
to have an unavenged death.

But when I shot that homeless
guy, that Larry Moss,

suddenly I knew what it was like
to take another person's life.

who killed Adena Watson.

a good homicide detective,

because I didn't have
the killer's instinct.
