It's evidence of its character. It's
prejudicial. The content of these emails

directly probative to Dennis Mills'
guilt. There are some that go to sexual

sadism. They do not go to the issue of
guilt or innocence. They certainly go to

a predisposition. That isn't admissible.

It's evidence which is being offered to
show that the defendant is more likely

to have committed the alleged crime.
That is flat out inadmissible under the

California Code of Evidence. You have
the case law. It seems to me the letters

do more than suggest bad character.
That's the main thing they do.

They are relevant to much more than

They go to state of mind, which to me
goes to motive.

won't let you load up trying to bury the
