They set aside part of their food,

and take turns running the generators.

They weren't part of a gang.

They were just trying to get by.

They shared their food,

even had some books they gave me,

and in return,

I made sure they stayed out of trouble.

I was talking to Bill the other day,

and he said there were some tools in a warehouse
