about Daniel's operation--

Financing, long-term plans, who they're going after next.

We've been trying to figure some way

to get him out of the city

without drawing attention to our little operation here.

Problem is,

only official vehicles are allowed on the roads.

They ration gas and ID everything

so we can't move without having it traced back.

Anybody who questions where the good times are coming from

is the enemy.

called the doctrine of unintended consequences.

We just hit Daniel hard,

maybe before we were ready to hit him.

The intended consequence was getting Karl out of there,

which is fine.

It's the unintended consequences that I'm worried about.

It is a new world, a new age,

but that New World can never be safe

as long as there are enemies allied against us.

Our enemies cannot be allowed

to stand in the way of the future.
