Yee-haw!

Now, Bo and Luke can do some highflying

in the General Lee.

Sweet Daisy flies the hard way, in a plane.

Likewise, she could barely reach the pedals

old Darcy gave her flying lessons.

Now, Joe Ward who bought out Darcy

Is teaching Daisy crop dusting.

And you think for a girl to know.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of room to pull up

before you get to them woods at the end of the field, okay?

Well, tried. Now get ready to bank to make your next approach.

And keep your eye on... oh! My stomach.

Joe? Joe, come in.

Mayday! Mayday! This is Daisy Duke.

Daisy got on the horn and raised in Bo and Luke.

Told them what was happening.

And to have an ambulance meet them at

the Hazzard field, right away.

Daisy, this here is Luke. Read you loud and clear.

We got all taken care of. Bring him down easy.

This here's Luke Duke calling, Hazzard ambulance. Come back.

So Daisy turned the plane around and headed back

with the ailing Joe Ward.

And Bo and Luke headed for the field.

Along with that ambulance

coming from Tri-County Hospital.

Only in Hazzard could a simple crop-dusting

get so complicated.

- Thanks! - Joe

'Careful.'

Oh, am I glad to see you guys.

Careful. Oh, my goodness.

When you work in a farm for a living

crop-dusting is a serious business.

Joe was real worried

about the people who were counting on him.

Everything's gonna be alright.

Oh, it ain't. There's no farmer in Hazzard

who's not dependent on me to dusting field.

I don't know when I'll be back to work.

They can call Capitol city and get somebody else to do it.

Can't. All the other dusters are booked solid.

Besides, without my job how am I gonna make all the payments

for my new plane?

- Not to mention doctor bills. - I'll tell you what.

I'll fly the plane, Bo and Luke will make up

the mixture for the crop duster.

- We can do that - What are friends for?

Just get better at the hospital, we'll take care everything.

Thanks, you guys. You don't know how much it means to me.

Take care of him, huh.

We better go check the schedule and see

who gets dusted tomorrow, huh?

You got your work cut out for you.

- You better hold me up though. - You alright?

I was scared.

The dukes were soon to learn that the farm to get dusted

the next day had been bought up by old Boss Hogg.

And as soon as the dust settled

Boss was planning on dusting them off in return.

I know that money doesn't grow on trees.

But I can't figure out how you planning on

growing a bunch of greenbacks on a field that grow nothing.

Yeah, that's 'cause you work by the sweat of your brow

while I work by the sweat of my brains.

- Oh. - It's simple, simpleton.

'I'll tell ya how it's done.'

'Joe Ward is supposed to crop-dust my field tomorrow.'

- 'Right' - 'Yeah.'

'So I've hired these two fellas here, to make sure that'

the crop dusting mixture is salted first with lye.

With lye! Are you kidding, boss?

You put lye on that field and it will grow nothing

it'll kill everything.

Well, of course, it will kill everything.

- Ha ha ha. - You won't.

- That's the whole idea. - Oh, I don't get that.

Alright, here is how it works. I plant some worthless seeds

in these 500 acres, I picked up at $50 a piece.

Right.

And then I collect three times as much from

Joe Ward's Insurance Company for ruining my potential crops.

'Oh, cunning.'

- There's one thing wrong. - Yeah?

That you haven't figured it out.

See, if Ward is in the hospital

you've got Daisy Duke flying that crop duster.

Yeah, I know and that's all the better.

All the better because Joe Ward's Insurance Company

is still responsible, ain't it?

Yeah.

Plus, I can sue the Dukes on top of it.

Sue the Dukes? Why would you wanna sue the Dukes?

- Oh. - They ain't got nothing.

- Yeah, they gotta farm, right? - Yeah.

- And they've got crops. - Right.

- They've got vehicles. - Right.

'Well, I'm gonna take everything they own.'

'See you boys, later.'

Just don't forget our thousand buck, Hogg.

'Don't you worry, man. I won't.'

Come on, Hector.

Time to get back to the hotel wash up for supper.

I sure wish we'd have gotten our money up front.

That Hogg's gotta rip for being a real chiseler.

Yeah, well... that's why I made this here little tape.

He ain't about to cheat us out of what's ours.

As long as we've got this recording of him

and the sheriff of his.

Oh my goodness.

Well, thank you very much, doc.

Yeah, I'll keep in touch. Thank you.

Well, listen to this.

Joe was having appendicitis up there in the plane.

They operated on him and he

is gonna be laid up for about a week or so.

- He is gonna be fine. - Great.

Isn't that some thing.

Well, that's one worry off the Dukes heads.

But come next morning, another one

was just getting started.

Them guys were dumping poison in the mixture

just like Boss ordered.

Hey, look at those guys over at Joe's plane.

- 'What are they up to?' - 'We intend to find out.'

'Once you check the plane and we'll go talk to him.'

Daisy, we'll get after them.

We're gonna figure out what's going on here.

Now General Lee can eat up the miles.

And is a match for the best on wheels.

But Percy and Hector had too much of a head start.

When the road that Bo and Luke was chasing them on

split into two forks

they followed the wrong one... naturally.

Shoot, they lost you.

Dang it. I could've sworn they came this way.

Well... looks like we ain't gonna get the answers

to none of them questions now.

'Lost Sheep this is Bo Peep.'

Yeah, go ahead, Bo Peep. You got Lost Sheep.

'Everything looks fine with this plane.'

Alright, fellas, I'm gone.

Naturally, there was no way, Daisy, Bo or Luke

could've known that everything wasn't okay.

And Daisy was fixing to get both feet in the milk bucket.

And ya'll know, this wasn't about to be the last

they'd see of Percy and Hector.

You think, maybe, we ought to hightail out of here and

have Hogg mail us our dough.

What for? Them fellas back they didn't see nothing.

So, there's no way they can prove anything.

Besides, they can't go to the sheriff

or Boss Hogg and complain, now can they?

'All that lye over my freshly seeded'

'potentially valuable future crops.'

Oh, shame, shame.

Hello Insurance company. Goodbye, Dukes.

Oh, I love it. I love it.

Boss' plan was really getting off the ground.

Or should I say, on it?

When you deal with bad eggs like Boss, Percy and Hector

sometimes more than one plan gets hatched.

Why have holes in our screen doors, taking Hogg's handout.

We can make five to ten times that much dough.

Like how?

Stealing that crop-dusting plane.

'You know with that plane'

We can threaten every farmer in Hazzard.

Sell them protection.

Just like the example we say we set with Boss Hogg.

Spraying their fields with lye.

Yeah, that's right.

Heck I forgot you could fly a plane.

There's one thing about crooks

doing business with other crooks.

You sometimes get a whole lot more than you bargained for.

Trouble is a lot of innocent people pay the price

like the Dukes and good folks of Hazzard.

What do you reckon them fellas was up to?

Uncle Jessie, I have no idea. That plane was right as rain.

Would you look at this.

Bad news, bad news.

- Come on. - Yeah, right.

Alright, you Dukes.

You did it this time. You really did it.

- We did? - No, they did.

That means I'm holding all of you responsible.

All of you.

On account of you ruined my farm.

You've destroyed my potential crops.

- By crop dusting them with lye. - But that's a lie.

That's exactly what he said. It was lye.

Rosco, that's not what I meant.

Wait a minute. This is, too possible.

Them two guys at the landing strip.

That's right. We was wondering what they was doing.

I bet they was mixing lye in with the pesticides

so Daisy would spray on your property.

- Boss, it ain't our fault. - I don't know about that.

And I don't know nothing about no fellas

mixing anything with anything.

What I do know is that you sprayed my field.

Daisy Duke you sure did and I'm holding you responsible

along with Joe Ward.

So, here are the legal papers, and they are serving Ward and

all you Dukes for all the damage you done.

Hold on a second. We ain't even seen your property.

How do we know if there's any damage?

Even if it's true you gotta give us time to prove

that we weren't at fault.

'Take all the time you want.'

Meanwhile, while you're taking your time

I'm going to take your vehicles, your plane and this here farm

as collateral against what you owe me.

- Rosco. - Yeah.

- Impound everything in sight. - Everything.

That's right ya'll, now, you heard the man.

He wants everything. Just give it to him.

- Here you go. - Ah, oh, wait.

Aye!

Give me my hat. Where's my hat?

You give me my hat.

No, no, no, no.

- Hot pursuit. - No, no, no, no.

Come on.

They're gaining on us you better step on it.

Alright, alright. I'm going as fast as I can.

- Luke! - Oh, God.

Hang on.

You know, riding with Bo and Luke would be every bit

as exciting as wing walking with Daisy.

- Oh, come on. - Don't worry, Boss, I see it.

I ain't worried about you seeing it.

I'm worried about you hitting it.

You really got it. Didn't you? Serves you right.

Here they come.

'How did he do that?'

'All that practice he's been having

'chasing us around Hazzard must have done some good.'

Ain't that them Dukes heading this way?

Yeah. That's them alright.

'And that sheriff's right on their tail.'

It's that car from the airfield.

Let's go and get 'em.

Push it an extra. Come on, struggle.

Them Dukes turned around. They're following us.

'Yeah that's sheriff is still behind them.'

Don't worry about a thing till I tell you.

You better start telling me because here they come.

Come on, you. Come on, come on.

Well, what do you know. I got an egg.

Now, it just so happened that the patrol car

number two with Enos at the wheel

was on patrol making the backwoods safe.

What in the world is happening?

Ain't no doubt that given half a chance

the General can catch or beat anything on the road.

And this time was no exception.

There's the truck again, watch it.

Hey.

Makes you as mad as a wet hen, don't it?

You got 'em.

Watch it! Watch it. Hold! Hold!

Ah!

Oh, oh, no. No, no.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute here.

These were the guys that were messing around with the plane.

They are also the fellows who put the lye with the pesticides.

Possum on a gum bush.

Now why'd we wanna do a thing like that for?

- Why don't you tell us? - Oh, no, no.

They don't have to tell you nothing.

- No. - Now why should they?

'I mean, this is just some story that you Dukes have cooked up'

'to get yourself and Joe Ward off the hook.'

It is not, Boss. It's the dang truth.

- Well, have you got any proof? - Yeah, right here.

- How's that? - Yeah.

- Oh! - Yeah.

- Will that do it for you? - How's that for proof?

Well, now, ain't no law against having a few bags of lye

in your trunk.

Well no law at all.

If there's enough you can arrest them on suspicion.

You got three witnesses saw him at the airfield

before Joe's plane took off.

Ah, listen, wait a minute.

You can't convict nobody... without concrete evidence.

We'll get you concrete evidence, we'll also find out who

is at the bottom of this.

Are you gonna arrest 'em or we gonna make a citizen's arrest?

You can't make a citizen's arrest.

Oh, yes. They can, sir.

I learnt... beg your pardon, sir, but I learnt that on Metro Squad

anybody can make a citizen's arrest.

So you gonna cuff him and stuff him or do we?

Well, alright, alright, alright, go ahead, do it, Rosco.

We'll just add... false-arrest suit to all them other lawsuits

that these Dukes are gonna be wearing.

- Come on, Bo - Alright, just..

Wait a minute, Enos. Here just take this, will you?

Alright. Now, go on, go on. Get back on the road.

You two, come on.

False arrest? What the heck is Boss talking about?

For some reason he is determined to pin this whole thing on us

instead of on those guys.

'Unless this is one of his scams.'

Don't make any sense.

Oh, shoot. Let's get Daisy back to the field.

Alright.

Come on, come on, come on.

Listen, I'm gonna tell you.

You boys are dumber than Rosco here.

By leaving all that lye in the trunk of your car for evidence.

Now, them Dukes ain't gonna quit till they find out

what's going on.

You see there is flaw in the slaw.

You know, talking about a citizen's arrest.

That would tie my hands.

Well, you better find a way to untie them, real quick.

'Cause we got a little tape, of you two making the deal with us.

What?

Unless you want us playing it for everybody.

I, I don't believe you. Let me see the tape.

'We're not dumb enough to carry it around with us.'

You just gonna have to take our word for it.

Or take your chances.

You try anything like arresting us

and that tape gets mailed to the State Police.

- Alright, alright. - Oh!

Alright, alright, we're going.

We were going. Just, excuse me.

Percy and Hector had Boss and Rosco over both barrels.

And they had no choice but to let their prisoner's escape.

Them two is as slick as two eels in a lard bucket.

Meanwhile the Dukes had more crop-dusting to do

before digging into Boss' scam.

The trouble was... them two slicks

were getting their own little scam off the ground.

- Hey, what's that? - 'It's them fellas.'

- 'It sure is.' - 'Stealing his plane.'

I thought those guys were supposed to be in jail.

Yeah, they were supposed to be.

Let's go find out why they're not.

As Bo, Luke and Daisy set out for Hazzard and a little talk

with Boss and Rosco.

Hector and Percy was using an old World War Two

abandoned emergency landing strip

for their new business venture

which is gonna really surprise Boss.

When he paid them off he thought

that they were gone for good.

Enterprising, ain't they?

- You know, Rosco. - What?

I can tell you how relieved I am that Percy and Hector are gone.

Oh.

If they really did have a tape.

I think they could've blackmailed

you and me from now till kingdom come.

- That's true but they've gone. - Yeah.

So don't you worry your fat little head about it.

So lie there and relax and think

of all that money you're gonna collect.

Not to mention the Duke farm.

Oh, yes, then the Duke farm.

- And the General Lee. - And the General Lee.

You know something that General Lee

I'll be glad to get my hands on that one.

I'll take it down to the crusher

I'm gonna yank it down here. And I'm gonna give...

- Boss. We want to talk to you. - Who's there?

Didn't you read the sign on that door?

It says "Private."

Well, the badge on his shirt says "Sheriff."

That means he is a public servant.

We're the public ain't we?

Yeah, and if you are public servant how come them crooks

are running free after they stole Joe's plane, huh?

'Well... oh, really?'

- Listen. - Yeah.

I knew they they had the tapes.

I didn't know they had Joe's plane.

- What tapes? - None of you business.

None of your business.

What do you mean it's none of our business?

We promised Joe we'd take care of his plane and his contracts.

That makes it our business.

Especially since you're suing us for something we didn't do.

And them fellas did do.

Not to mention what we came in here for in the first place.

We made a citizen's arrest and those guys are runnin' free.

Now, what's going on, Rosco?

They are running free, uh, because they escaped.

That's why they are running free.

- Oh, Rosco. - Well, that's the truth.

- I'll bet. - Well...

If they escaped then why you here pushing Boss' fat around.

- Now, that's personal. - We put out an APB on them.

But let me just remind you Dukes of something.

Them fellows are suspect... but now with their car

and all them circumstantial evidence gone.

You citizens haven't got much of a case against them.

That's right. Not even a eenie-teeny bit.

What about them stealing the plane?

- What do you call that? - I call that hearsay evidence.

- Hearsay evidence. - Wait a minute.

We saw them to do with our own eyes. What do you call that?

I call that eye-say evidence.

'Everything is just back to the way it was.'

Joe Ward and you Dukes are financially responsible

for damage you done to my farm.

And unless you can find some proof otherwise

I'm going to sue the pants off you.

That's right we're gonna sue the p..

Alright, we'll find your dang proof, come on.

I just want to say one thing to you, Rosco.

I can't believe you been a sheriff...

- He ain't worth the time. - Out, riffraff.

- Ain't that good news, Rosco? - That... it is?

- Yeah, yeah. - What?

Well, well, that Percy and Hector stole that plane.

Well, them stealing the plane is nothing about to laugh about.

Oh, dodo, that means they must be miles away from here by now.

Oh!

And that means, them Dukes ain't got a prayer

in Hades to find any proof of them fellas were working for me.

Oh!

Yeah, all they're gonna find is one big fat lawsuit.

One big fat... speaking of fat.

- On the table. - Ah! Wait a minute.

Alright.

While Rosco was working Boss over.

Percy and Hector were starting to work over

the good farmers of Hazzard county.

Protection? From what? What do I need protection from?

Hector... wanna give our friend here a little demonstration?

Now, you see that was flour that just dusted your field.

Could have been something worse.

Like that lye that fell all over Boss Hogg's farm.

You check with him.

And I'll be back for that first protection payment.

'Ya'll I think we better tell Joe what happened, don't you?'

Oh, with that poor fellow in the hospital

getting over an operation?

Daisy's right. Wouldn't do no good to worry him.

What we got to do is find the plane, and catch them fellas.

Shepherd to Lost Sheep. Shepherd to Lost Sheep.

- You out there come back. - This is Bo Peep, Uncle Jessie.

- What's up? - That's what I'd like to know.

What'd you find out about Joe's plane?

Them fellas stole it.

Heaven knows where it is or where they are by now.

I'll tell you where they are.

They're right here in Hazzard running a protection racket.

'Now something just happened.'

'You better get over here right away. Where are you?'

We're coming round the corner right now.

I just got a phone call over there

from them fellas and they're running a protection racket.

- Right here in Hazzard. - What?

Jesse told them how his phone been ringing off the hook

with farmer's calling to ask if Hector and Percy

had paid the Duke farm a visit.

And the threats these fellas had been making.

Hey, remember the tape that Rosco mentioned?

Maybe these guys got something on Boss

and they are holding it over his head or something.

Could be.

Sure, seems like them crooks are just doing their own thing.

You know, unless they're stopped.

Not only Joe Ward and us stand to lose everything

but every farmer in Hazzard county.

We know they're still in the county somewhere.

- All we gotta do is find them. - Let's go.

I'm going.

Going after? What? I'll follow.

The Dukes all took off looking for Percy and Hector.

And Ol' Joe Ward's stolen plane.

- Alright, there, I'm dressed. - Alright, now.

Oh, wait a minute. What do you think you're doing there?

I'm glad you're here. Take this little dude here.

That's a Chinese thing.

Put that on my shoulder and get that vapor lock out of there.

Wait a minute. You were doing that to me.

- I ain't suppose to... - Hogg, Sheriff.

Selfish to the core.

Them fellas the Dukes said was responsible

for the lye dropped on your farm...

Lye? That's lies, all lies.

Not according to all the phone calls

I've been getting at the head quarters from the farmers.

They got Joe Ward's plane and threatening everybody

to pay up or get the same thing you got.

- Are you kidding? - They can't do that.

- They are. - Well, they gotta be stopped.

I mean if there is one thing I will not tolerate

is anyone hurting any of my constituents.

Alright, Rosco. You get out there with Enos.

And you bring in them polecats on the double.

- Alright. - Yes.

Wait, wait, just a pea-pickin' minute, here Boss.

'What?'

What about the tape, you know?

If Enos or the Duke boys get to that...

Oh, the tape!

- I forgot about the tape - Yeah, I know.

Alright, we got to get the tape. Wait a minute.

The Hotel. Yeah, they said they were staying at the hotel.

Didn't they? The Hazzard Hotel?

Alright, come on. We just gotta get out to that place.

Turn it inside out and upside down till we find that tape.

'Daisy, you and Uncle Jessie cover and possible spot'

'they might have that plane is stashed.'

'We're gonna head over to the Hazzard field.'

'Seems like they'd be smarter to keep the plane there'

'wouldn't they?'

That plane engine don't run on air.

- They have to fuel up sometime. - That's right.

And the only place they can get it is at Hazzard field.

- Yeah, well that makes sense. - You got that right.

Yes, sir.

Bo and Luke's idea made all the sense in the world.

Problem was getting there in time.

Come on, hurry it up.

You got two, three more farms to hit before the day is over.

Ah. Take it easy. Take it easy. This is it.

Dang, we got company. It's them Duke boys again.

Right on time. Let's go get 'em.

Come on, let's go. Let's go.

Hit it. Let's move.

'When we get around that next bend up there'

'when I say stop you stop.'

'Okay, stop!'

Alright, when I say go, go.

Go!

You know, friends quicker than a New York minute..

I figure Bo and Luke

are gonna get very put out at them two dudes.

- You alright? - I think so.

I guess them fellas' folks never taught 'em

not to play with matches.

They never told 'em not to play with Dukes either.

Let's go get 'em.

I'll be parking on the wrong side.

Watch out for them movers, will you.

Let them get it out of the way. After all I'm the sheriff.

That's the idea. Stop here. Get in there...

While Percy and Hector were pursuing

a new career in agriculture, Roscoe set out to pay

their hotel room a little visit and to search for that tape

while Boss waited for him in the patrol car.

Well, it was a short wait.

Look out.

Not 'cause he found the tape right away..

But 'cause he found the wrong room.

- Rosco. - What?

- Oh, Rosco, how dare you? - Oh, it's expired.

What are you doing?

- I'm giving a ticket... - Oh, no you're not.

You gotta get back in that hotel.

- Okay. Wait a minute. - You gotta get that tape.

- That was horrendous. - No, go ahead. Leave me.

I'll just go ahead.

I'm coming.

Yeah.

Jesse Duke here. Shoot at your nic.., uh, dime.

And it's your farm. So unless you want lye dumped

all over it, you tell them nephews of yours to lay back

and mind their own business, you read me, grandpa?

I ain't your grandpa and I read you loud and clear.

Now listen if you think that...

I don't like repeating myself and I don't intend to.

Well, now they've riled Uncle Jesse. Which is right

up there with nude sky diving and eating the rattle snake

head first when it comes to things which you ought not do.

No, Rosco.

Meanwhile, Rosco was not having much luck

finding the right room.

He always did have trouble reading numbers.

Boss didn't get the tape but he did get a bill for the damages.

'I lost my hat. Oh, there it is.'

Well, that's.. I appreciate it.

Good grief.

Come on. Come on.

I'll go back in there and knock him out.

When Bo and Luke returned to the Duke farm

Jesse had simmered down enough to tell them

about Percy and Hector's telephone call.

Ah, shoot, we gotta take their seriously, Uncle Jesse.

They still got the plane.

Well, threat or no threat we just can't sit idle and let Joe

and all the farmers in Hazzard lose everythin' they own.

We gotta stop them dead in their tracks.

We won't get any back talk outta me.

The question is though, how're we gonna force their hand

when they have all with cards.

Maybe take a page outta their book.

What do you mean?

They got a tape on Boss, let's get a take a tape on them.

But how we gonna find them?

I'll tell you what. We let them find us.

Uncle Jesse, how many farmers you think they ain't got to yet?

The rate they've been going, three, four maybe more.

You think you'd get on the phone and narrow down some?

I could find out.

Right, Daisy remember that tape recorder you got

for Christmas last year?

- Sure. - You know where?

- I do. - We're gonna need it.

- What do we need it for? - It's gonna work great.

Listen, there's just gotta be some way of our getting

our hands on that Percy and that Hector.

Well, the only way you could do that

is to be a Hazzard farmer and wait for them to call on it.

But you're place already been hit, Boss.

That's right. Oh, wait a minute, that's it.

- That's it. You got it. - What?

Well, all we gotta do is find out which farm hasn't

been hit on yet and then we wait for our man.

Come on, lets get back to town

and check out that list of complaints.

Friends, I do believe there's soon to be

a collision confrontation.

Them two crooks just left Moses Baxley's place.

They called Mr. Beemer and he's expecting him at 2.00.

- That'll give us much time. - Let's go.

That's some good work, man.

Here we go.

The only people those guys haven't get on is Ned Beemer.

That's right. So that's where we nail him.

We gotta make sure that they don't get the drop on you first.

What if they haven't got the tapes on him?

- Then we're luck, ain't we? - Yeah.

'Then we gotta keep them from gettin' to those tapes.'

'Alright, lets go. Lets get out there quick.'

Mr. Beemer, they ain't never seen Uncle Jesse.

I think they'll think is you.

I don't know, you think it will work?

Yeah sure it will, Daisy's gonna hide that tape recorder.

I think it'll pick up the whole conversation.

Now, all Uncle Jesse's gotta do is get them to admit

to the whole racket.

And we got 'em dead right.

- I'll get my shotgun. - Give me that pitchfork.

They're gonna get here any minute. We better take cover.

- Best place to be in the barn. - I think so.

Well, Percy and Hector were showing up right on schedule.

And just like Luke figured

they didn't know Jesse from Beemer.

And with that into their pitch..

- 'Mr. Beamer?' - That's right.

I guess you've been hearing about our protection

services from some of the other farmers around Hazzard by now.

Oh, yeah, yeah.

I heard, how you stole Joe Wards' airplane.

'Arranged to have J.D. Hogg's farms sprayed with lye'

and then went to all the other farmers in Hazzard county

and told them to pay up or they get the same treatment.

That's what I heard. That about right too, ain't it?

You put it right down where it's at old timer.

And now it's your turn.

'Five hundred bucks is the price and you've got no worries.'

No five hundred and all this place

is gonna be fit to grow, is weeds.

If you're smart, you're gonna fall into line

with all our other customers.

And if you're smart you're gonna get your hands about as high

as they'll go coz' Mr. Beemer right there

is about to blow you into the next county.

'He's right, boys.'

Move it over here just a little bit.

'Here comes J.D. and Rosco. For once in their lives'

they got somewhere at the right time.

- Did you get the tape? - I sure did, Uncle Jesse.

Nice job too, huh?

Let me handle this.

- Oh, hello. - Alright, what's going on here?

Well, well, well we were just passing through.

- What a coincidence. - There they are J.D.

And, Boss, we got a complete confession on this here tape.

- You do? - What happened to your farm?

Yeah, and stealing the Ward plane?

And that protection racket they was running?

I want you to take very good care of this tape.

Ah, talking about tapes.

Da-da-da-da. Listen, I wouldn't say another word if I was you.

On account of anything you say now

can be held against you in the court of law.

- That's right. - Take them away, Rosco.

Boss, Rosco, hold on a second. Ain't you gonna search him?

The last time they had a whole car full of evidence.

Listen here. Am I the sheriff or am I not?

I'll search him when I get ready.

While you're at it, see if you can find that

protection money and give it back to the people?

'And before he's charged of grand theft, where's the plane?'

It's out at that old world war two training strip.

Yeah, alright, now you know. Come on lets go.

Get them in there. Come on.

Boss, Rosco, one other thing.

No escapes this time, right?

Well, no siree, Bob.

Well, that takes care of that. Come on, we've got work to do.

I'm telling you! You really did it up to this time.

You know, this little tape could put you both away

for five or ten years.

And the one we've got could do the same for you.

So... what say we swap?

Alright, alright. But on one condition.

Everybody gets his money back.

- It sounds fair to me. - Alright, here.

Boss must be turning soft.

Time was when he'd had them two slicks paying him for the tape.

What are you boys trying to pull?

Looks to me like they done pull the gun.

That's right.

Now pull over this side of road, sheriff.

Don't y'all try no funny stuff.

Turn them gumballs off.

- Pull up, right here. - Oh, yeah, yeah.

Out. Both of you.

Wait a minute, I mean there is someway we can work this out.

- You just work yourself out. - Yeah.

- Yeah. - Yeah, alright.

'Move now.'

You just.. You're serious about this.

Wait a minute.

Don't scuff that vehicle. That's my sixth one this month.

Listen here, let's talk. Let's talk, huh?

Bye, Hogg. Nice doin' business withcha.

Now wait a minute.

Come on, we're gonna have to hoof it. Come on, we'll walk.

Hope they don't use the siren.

How many miles are we gonna have to go?

Well, it's about eighteen.

Oh, damn it! My feet are all writhing.

It's only nine miles a piece.

Both the elevators seem okay.

Yeah.

Ailerons alright. No harms done.

Great.

Yeah, we better fly back to Hazzard then.

We've gotta lot of work to catch up. Come on, let's go.

Hey, Uncle Jesse, why don't you go back with me?

Daisy, if it's all the same to you

I'm gonna stay here on the ground.

Believe it or not, I feel safer in the General Lee.

- That will be the day. - That's what I say.

- 'Oh, boy.' - 'Come on. Get in there.'

- Bye-bye! - Bye-bye.

Bye, Daisy!

See you everybody!

Well, as Daisy took off in Ward's plane

Boss took off his shoes, and massaged his aching feet.

Ugh! Oh! My foot!

Look. Oh, my! Oh, my!

You know, it's all your fault.

- What? - This fix we're in.

Yeah, I mean couldn't you have checked on them crooks

for weapons?

Well, listen maybe you'll be more selective

on the type of crooks you do business with.

Let's not beat it to death.

Fact is we gotta get ourselves back to Hazzard.

- Figure a way out of this. - Go on back to Hazzard.

- Da, da, da. - What, what, what?

- No no no. - No no?

- No. Da, da, da. - You need..

- Oh, good grief! - Come on, come on.

This is humiliating. Oh, boy!

That way. Come on. Come on.

That's very good. You're doing a good job.

Did you ever think of dieting?

Watch it! Watch it!

As Rosco gave Boss a lift back to Hazzard

Percy and Hector were high with the sweet smell of success.

'Lost Sheep, Bo Peep callin' you. Are you out there?'

You got Lost Sheep. Come on back, Bo Peep.

There's something kinda funny going on here.

Rosco's car's headed for the county line

'instead of going back to Hazzard County.'

That sure sounds strange.

Hey, I'll tell you what's even stranger.

Boss and Rosco ain't in the car.

They're standin' in the middle of Hazzard lane.

Well, that's gotta be them same two fellas.

Rosco's car is headed to the county line

'on Highway 14, fellas. Over.'

Yeah, 10-4, Daisy.

- You heard the lady. Let's go. - I'm gonna cut cross country.

Sounds like the duster.

Probably letting them Dukes know where we are.

Step on it hard.

Daisy, we're looking all over, but don't see 'em.

That's because they're still a couple of miles ahead of you.

That's a pretty far to go.

Even with the General.

If only we had something faster.

Nothing faster than the General. You know that.

I wonder if that rope ladder's still on that crop duster.

What.. Oh, no, you kiddin'!

I'd do it if I wasn't driving. You know that.

Sure you would, wouldn't you?

Call her.

Daisy, look, I don't think it's there

but, uh, why don't you check and see

if that rope ladder Joe used to use for stunts

is in the plane?

Hold on.

'Yeah, it's here.'

Great.

Uh, listen, Daisy, why don't you fly over General Lee

and drop that ladder, and fetch me?

Now wait a minute, Bo, I hope you're not thinking

of doing what I hope you're not thinking of doing.

Are you crazy?

Bo, you wanna break that dang fool neck of yours? No way!

Daisy, now, just come on over, and do it, alright.

- I can't do it. - Just come on do it, alright.

You just better know what you doin', young man.

Here she comes.

- Now, be careful. - Yeah.

Them Dukes gotta be whacked out of their minds.

Whack him right out of the sky.

Give me that gun!

What the..

He made it!

Luke, Bo's alright. Bo's alright, Uncle Jesse!

Great!

Phew! That was the easy part.

Gonna try and slow 'em down.

Well, now, that's what I call a winged victory.

Bo put out a call for Enos.

- Here she comes. - Hey.

After the Dukes made sure that all the farmers

in Hazzard County got their money back

they kept both tapes

to make sure Boss not only dropped his charges

against them and Joe Ward

but made sure that Boss planted something.

After all, Boss had a contract with old Ward to dust his farm

for the rest of the season at double the price.

That was okay for Joe, who was real happy to get back.

So if anyone out there is interested in farming

come to Hazzard, see how they do it.

It's a real great place to go.

Especially a family... like the Dukes.
