[The Land of Warriors]

[Adapted from Tang Jia San Shao's novel "Douluo Continent"]

[Episode 25]

I knew I wasn't mistaken.

Your smile is exactly as I remembered it.

Birds of a feather flock together.

I... I'm different from them.

We have met before.

So, we're kindred spirits.

If you like her, I'll give her to you. Why would you hit me?

I'd like to hit you more.

- You, you, you... - Miss!

Miss!

We met before!

What's in your scented sachet? It smells so nice.

You don't remember me?

You...

How could I forget?

Have we also met in a dream?

Oh, so you also met me in your dream.

To be honest, I've dreamed of you as well,

even of the tavern where we first met.

A tavern?

Your dream is oddly specific.

Don't you remember?

Back then, in that tavern,

there was a swindler trying to deceive a young lady, and then you...

A swindler trying to deceive a young lady?

Wasn't that you?

At this moment. Right now.

It wasn't me! It was the wretched Three Swordsmen.

Wretched? Indeed, you are wretched.

Don't bother me.

Xiang Xiang!

Grandpa!

[Bai He, Chief of Tribe of Agility]

What's going on?

Just a lecherous man.

I've already taught him a lesson.

You're so young, and already so unambitious.

If I see you again next time, I won't let you off!

- Exactly! - It's all a misunderstanding, Elder.

No need to talk to him.

Grandpa, let's leave here.

Xiang Xiang...

So, her name is Xiang Xiang.

Clan Leader Huyan, there's no need for formalities.

The crown princess and I are traveling in disguise. Ignorance is understandable.

Clan Leader, please rise and sit down for a chat.

Thank you, Your Highnesses.

Please have some tea.

I wasn't aware that Your Highnesses were familiar with the Tribe of Defense.

Previously, I barged in on you. I hope I didn't disturb you.

Please.

It's normal for clans to have some interactions and occasional sparring.

You're preparing for the Seven Clans' reelection,

and trying to win over other clans.

This is understandable.

But, Clan Leader Huyan, you must be mindful of your methods.

You're right, Your Highness.

I've had a long-standing friendship with Niu Gao.

I hoped we could join forces for the future, but he keeps shutting me out.

That's why I became a little anxious.

You don't have to explain.

We're not here on behalf of the Tribe of Defense.

The Elephant Armor Clan established a clan in the Star Luo Empire.

If it becomes the foremost of all clans in the Seven Clans reelection,

it would be a great blessing for Star Luo.

If there's anything you need us to mediate, don't hesitate to ask.

How could I dare trouble Your Highnesses?

Your words alone are the greatest support for the Elephant Armor Clan.

If we succeed in taking the top spot in the reelection,

I will surely serve the empire.

You have such an earnest dedication. I must report it truthfully to His Majesty.

However, to serve the empire, why wait for the future?

You can start doing it now.

Your Highnesses, feel free to give any instructions.

There are several clan leaders in the Longxing City that are missing.

Have you heard of this?

I see, this is what brought you here.

The current situation is chaotic.

Some clan leaders couldn't bear the burden and abandoned their clans.

As for these clans, I help where I can.

Those willing to join the Elephant Armor Clan,

I accept them all as a small contribution to the Soul Master world.

Clan Leader Huyan, how noble you are!

It seems you don't know the whereabouts of those missing clan leaders.

If I knew, how could I not go and find them?

Your Highnesses,

are you suspecting us, the Elephant Armor Clan is involved in it?

Of course not.

The disappearance of so many clan leaders in Longxing City

is a matter of concern for both the empire and its people.

I just hope that Clan Leader Huyan will personally investigate the matter.

We can't afford to lose any more clan leaders.

Otherwise, if this escalates and reaches His Majesty's ears,

things might change drastically in Longxing City.

You're right, Your Highness.

I will thoroughly investigate and ease His Majesty's concerns.

What a boring conversation between you two!

Clan Leader Huyan, how about I take a look around your Elephant Armor Clan?

Sure.

Someone!

Please serve Crown Princess well.

Yes.

Your Highness, please.

Your Highness, you're going the wrong way. This area is prohibited.

Isn't this a garden?

The flowers are blooming beautifully. Take me inside for a look.

Your Highness, this area is under renovation. You can't go in.

If you wish to have a walk in the garden, there's another one.

I'll take you there immediately.

The flowers are just so beautiful. Let me pick one, and then we'll go elsewhere.

No, Your Highness. Don't do that.

Your Highness, please don't.

Stop!

This is the clan's forbidden area. What are you doing here?

What are you looking at?

Get out of here!

Who gave you the guts to speak to me like this?

Your Highness, please don't be angry.

Mind your manners! She's the Crown Princess of Star Luo.

Your...

Your Highness, forgive me.

Say it or not.

You, step aside!

- Me? - Step aside!

This is no place for the crown princess.

Clan Leader Huyan, do you know the punishment for showing disrespect to the crown princess?

Your Highnesses, I've treated you with sincerity.

Why are you intruding into my clan's forbidden area?

Don't play dumb. Who's locked up in this dungeon?

They are my disciples who need to be punished.

What grave mistake did they commit that deserves such harsh punishment?

This is a private matter of my clan.

No need for Your Highness to meddle.

I don't care how you discipline your disciples,

but didn't you promise me to help investigate the missing clan leaders?

I suspect there's something suspicious about this place.

Let's go down and take a look.

- Stop them! - Presumptuous!

Who dares disrespect the two Highnesses?

Father!

I didn't expect Your Grace to be here. Forgive me for not welcoming you properly.

Crown Prince and Crown Princess, are you all right?

Rest assured, Your Grace. We are fine.

Clan Leader Huyan.

Your Grace.

What is going on here?

This is all a misunderstanding.

A misunderstanding?

It's great if it's just a misunderstanding.

Thank you, Your Grace.

His Majesty eagerly anticipates the competition between the clans

for the Seven Clans reelection.

However, if someone disregards the law to expand their clan,

Star Luo will not stand idly by.

The crown prince's stance is the stance of Star Luo.

Understood.

I think Clan Leader Huyan knows how to settle the matter now.

Understood.

His Highness has made his point clearly.

I will investigate the missing clan leader's whereabouts and ensure their safety.

Your Highness, please.

Farewell, Your Highnesses.

Master.

His Majesty has ordered you to return with me.

No way!

The Elephant Armor Clan has always aimed for the Tribe of Defense.

Today, we managed to suppress him, but if we leave just like this,

he'll certainly vent it out on the Tribe of Defense.

What about Xiao San and the others?

Moreover, the Elephant Armor Clan uses despicable methods to strengthen its power.

We cannot turn a blind eye.

- Mubai is right. - Keep your mouth shut!

As the crown princess,

you should persuade the crown prince to focus on the nation.

However, what are you doing instead?

Do you still remember your position?

Your Grace, Zhuqing has done nothing wrong,

and neither have we forgotten our position.

Stopping Elephant Armor Clan from continuing its misdeeds

is also a way to restore order in Longxing City and benefit its people.

Your Highness, as the heir, I shouldn't have to lecture you.

However, following His Majesty's instructions and as an elder,

I must say this,

while the Elephant Armor Clan is in Star Luo,

it is actually under the control of Martial Soul Hall.

You two, as part of the imperial family, openly intervened,

intending to expose crimes on the spot, and left no room for negotiation.

Isn't that pushing Star Luo to become Martial Soul Hall's sworn enemy?

Elephant Armor Clan alone is no threat.

But against Martial Soul Hall,

neither Star Luo nor Heaven Dou dares claim they can stand a chance.

As the crown prince,

do you not realize that your impulsive actions could push the entire nation into danger?

That wasn't my intention.

Martial Soul Hall is powerful,

but endless concessions will only embolden them further.

Star Luo has existed for a millennium.

Must we continue living in fear of Martial Soul Hall?

You could be a fearless hero,

but can you alone resist Martial Soul Hall's numerous Titled Douluo?

Can you?

When the two armies meet on the battle field one day,

will you be the one at the front, or will it be the people under your rule?

Your courage comes at the cost of their lives.

My dear daughter, have you thought this through?

His Majesty's letter reminded you two

not to forget that you are the crown prince and the crown princess,

but more importantly, to remember the people and empire you represent.

Your every decision shapes their future.

In fact, it's not just Longxing City.

Even the Capital of Metal, Gengxin City, is plagued by Martial Soul Hall's arrogance.

You must mature quickly to shoulder the responsibility of the empire

and resolve the people's hardships.

You cannot act on impulse again.

Your Grace, we were reckless in our actions earlier.

Zhuqing and I will return to the palace.

Also, the chief of the Tribe of Defense, Niu Gao, has agreed to join the Tang Sect.

Soon, he will leave with my brother Tang San.

Once we ensure their safety before leaving Star Luo, Zhuqing and I will return.

Today's reprimand of Huyan Zhen will likely lead him to quietly release the imprisoned clan leaders.

However, I'm afraid that after we leave, he will revert to his old ways.

I will handle this matter to ensure the safety of those clans in the future.

Since Your Highness has promised to return, I shall report to His Majesty accordingly.

Thank you, Your Grace.

Zhuqing, His Majesty mentioned that upon your return,

you should start preparing for the wedding.

It's time for you to focus and prepare yourself to assist the crown prince in the future.

Please.

Although His Grace's words were harsh, he was just reminding us.

Don't take it to heart.

Zhuqing, what's wrong with you?

I don't want to go back.

Is it because His Grace suddenly brought up the wedding and it scared you?

Don't worry.

It's just a matter of planning the date, it won't happen instantly.

I'll discuss it with my imperial father.

Besides, I haven't even proposed to you yet.

How could we rush things like this?

Look.

Mubai.

I don't want to be the crown princess.

You don't want to marry me?

Of course, I want to marry you.

But I don't want to be Star Luo's crown princess. This identity is too heavy for me.

The duke's words must have stressed you out.

Zhuqing, you're not alone.

Whatever happens, I'll face it with you.

How messy you are!

Look at those two kids.

They live a simple and happy life.

Even if they're ordinary, they have nothing to fear.

Unlike us,

from the moment we were born, we were part of a gamble that demanded lives.

The strong survive. The weak perish.

You're still worried about the ancestral system.

I've told you, that once I ascend the throne, everything will change.

And what if the one who changes is you?

As my father said, being the crown prince is not just about yourself.

When you take that position, many things change.

You can't control everything, and it's hard to say what's right or wrong.

That's why I'm trying to build our future.

I dream of ruling Star Luo with you.

But there's no place for me in your planned future.

I haven't thought that far.

I just hope we can respect our wills and do what we want.

But everything I want to do includes you.

Forget it.

Let's go back.

Stop.

Why are you angry?

Shouldn't I be the one angry or upset?

Why am I angry?

Do you think everything I want to do doesn't include you?

You dream of ruling Star Luo with me.

I dream of traveling the continent with you.

From birth, I was assigned to be your fiancee.

If you lost to Dai Weisi, I'd have to die with you.

Now you're the crown prince, and I must rule the empire by your side.

Does my entire life belong to you, Dai Mubai?

Then who am I? Has anyone asked me what I want?

If I didn't love you, I wouldn't be struggling with all this.

I would've left long ago.

Or if I were more domineering,

I'd have forced you to give up the throne in the name of love,

letting you go through all the sufferings.

However, I don't want to do that,

because I'm tired of being manipulated.

I don't want the person I love to sacrifice their dreams for me.

If our paths diverge,

then let's not force each other into our plans.

I don't want you to sacrifice yourself for me. Likewise...

I don't want to sacrifice myself for you.

Maybe I'm being selfish,

but I only have one life.

I care no more about what others think.

Zhuqing!

Zhuqing...

Fatty.

Why are you sighing?

Boss Dai, Zhuqing and you have left the Elephant Armor Clan?

Forget it. Let's go back.

Elder Bai He, as a junior, Tang San, sincerely invites you to join the Tang Sect with your tribe

to stand together against Martial Soul Hall.

The great promises at the beginning always ended up being miserable during a crisis.

The Tribe of Agility has been through this once before and is afraid.

I appreciate your kindness, Sect Leader Tang.

However, joining the Tang Sect... is impossible.

You...

Old White Bird, a single piece of wood can be broken easily.

Why are you being so stubborn?

I understand your concerns, isn't it all because of...

Back then, the big dream was ruined and I drowned in a sea of bitterness.

Since you understand me, don't bring up the past anymore.

Old White Bird, stop being so pretentious!

Your Tribe of Agility has had a tough time. What's the point of being stubborn?

If it weren't for us brothers protecting you, with your defensive power alone,

your tribe would have long been taken by others.

Old Rhino might be blunt, but he's speaking the truth.

In the end, it's about us brothers supporting each other.

That's unnecessary. We can't decide fate and fortune.

The Tribe of Agility has relied on your protection for many years.

From now on, it all depends on our destiny.

Since you've joined the Tang Sect, it's time for us to part ways.

Regarding the Four Tribes gathering, I think we should just dismiss.

What are you saying?

Does joining the Tang Sect mean we can't be brothers anymore?

Do you think we'd harm you?

We're amid the hardships, but if we unite,

we could drink and eat together, doesn't this sound good?

Old White Bird, trust me, joining the Tang Sect is the right move.

Don't worry. I'll seek assistance from the Tribe of Destruction.

You...

Why did you guys return together?

Brother San is waiting for us in the main hall.

The Tribe of Agility has arrived.

Mubai and Zhuqing failed in their mission at the Elephant Armor Clan.

However, why does Fatty look so down, too?

He doesn't seem defeated and depressed, but more like...

Heartbroken.

Are you heartbroken?

Heartbroken?

Impossible!

In my love dictionary, there is no word for heartbreak.

- He's crazy. - Let's go and see what's going on.

Stop talking nonsense. Is it that you think Master is too young to trust?

Let me tell you! Even I'm impressed by his abilities,

and also his friends, all of them are extraordinary.

You came at the right time.

Let me tell you, Old White Bird, this is the chief's close friend.

Though his look is incomparable to me, his martial soul...

- It's you! - Xiang Xiang!

Shut up! Who allows you to call me that?

- It turns out that he's your friend? - Exactly.

Sect Leader Tang, you must be cautious when choosing friends.

Xiang Xiang, let's head to the inner courtyard for a rest.

No.

Old White Bird, what's wrong with you?

There's still so much food and liquor left, including two roasted lambs!

I have no appetite.

Old Rhino, remember my words,

think carefully before making friends.

- Xiang Xiang. - Grandpa!

Let's go.

Elder...

Xiang Xiang.

Xiang Xiang!

- You stubborn old man... - Xiang Xiang!

Elder Tai, it's getting late, Elder Bai He might be tired already.

Let's discuss this tomorrow.

Fatty, explain yourself.

I never met her again after that.

Who would have known that she was from the Tribe of Agility?

And now, she misunderstands me,

disrupting the Tang Sect's plan to unite the tribes.

It's not your fault.

Tai Tan and Elder Niu Gao told me they'd handle Elder Bai He.

He's so straightforward, that I couldn't even explain myself.

I'll figure out another way.

Anyway, Fatty, this wasn't your fault.

That's a relief.

So, the woman in white you mentioned earlier is her.

You even did heroic deeds together.

It sounds quite romantic.

So, do you think that we're destined?

Fatty, meeting once is a coincidence.

- Meeting twice is destiny. - Destiny.

This is the third time, it's confirmed the work of the match-matching god!

- You always understand me, Xiao Ao. - Of course.

So, what should I do next?

Fatty, could it be that you're imagining things?

I don't think she even remembers you.

Zhuqing, it's fine if you don't encourage me, but don't hurt me.

Fatty, I support you.

That's all a misunderstanding between the two of you.

Just voice out anything, and the problem can be resolved.

- From my love experience, a good relationship requires communication. - Communication.

More communication and making things clear. Then, it leads to a future.

- More communication. - Fatty, I advise you to be cautious.

Don't just think only about yourself, consider her feelings too.

As the saying goes, forced love will not be sweet.

Fatty, trust me, love is all about courage.

- Pursue it boldly and face any obstacles head-on. - Courage!

Those who give up easily are unworthy of love.

The foundation of love is respect. Without that, one shouldn't even speak of love.

- Fatty, don't listen... - Stop!

You two, saying this and that. Who am I supposed to listen to?

- Me! - Me!

Boss Dai, did you and Zhuqing have a fight?

- No! - No!

What happened when you were at the Elephant Armor Clan?

Why did you become like this after returning?

It's our matter. We'll resolve it ourselves.

However, regarding the Elephant Armor Clan, we do have information to tell all of you.

Without a fight, we rescued all the arrested clan leaders.

It seems the Elephant Armor Clan still fears the Star Luo Imperial Family.

His Grace will personally handle the rest.

The clan leaders will be safe for now.

Boss Dai, when did you promise the duke to return?

The Elephant Armor Clan has long coveted the Tribe of Defense.

I'm afraid they might take further action.

- Let's wait until it's safe for you to return. - All right.

His Grace is right.

Boss Dai. Zhuqing. You should keep a low profile for now.

Don't worry. I know what to do.

Let's go.

Clan Leader, I have released the arrested people in the dungeon.

They're deeply grateful for your mercy and pledge loyalty to you.

What a bunch of useless guys.

Everything is nearly settled.

Since the Star Luo Crown Prince wanted to intervene,

I'll give him this face.

You're wise, Clan Leader!

By the way, regarding the collusion between the Tribe of Defense

and the Star Luo Imperial Family, should Martial Soul Hall...

Idiot!

If Her Holiness hears of this, how could I face her?

The Tribe of Defense thinks involving the Star Luo Imperial Family

will make me withdraw myself.

But, I, Huyan Zhen, am not someone who would go lenient.

One day, when the Elephant Armor Clan becomes the foremost of all clans,

even the emperor of Star Luo will have to tolerate me.

Who cares about their little tricks now?

You're right. Absolutely right!

I have a plan and it needs your decision.

The Tribe of Agility has arrived.

I believe Yang Wudi from the Tribe of Destruction will also be here soon.

Why not take this opportunity to keep them all in one go?

On one hand, we can weaken the enemy's forces, and on the other hand, we can warn everyone,

showing the smaller clans that you are the only one worth relying on,

so that they dare not to go against you.

If we can take down all the chiefs of the four tribes, that would be ideal.

But if we start it forcibly, it'll undoubtedly drain our strength.

Moreover, if the four of them join forces, they won't be easy to deal with.

There's a less complicated method.

Tell me now.

This time, Bai He came with the heir of the Tribe of Agility,

his granddaughter, Bai Chenxiang.

I heard that these four old folks dote on her immensely.

If we can find an opportunity to invite Bai Chenxiang to stay with us for a few days,

I think the old fellows will definitely come here personally.

Once they make it here,

we'll make sure they regret it.

That's the same tactic I used before!

Shameless!

But it works.

Have a fight?

You told me Xiao Wu taught you that. If you're unhappy, go for a fight.

If you're confused, go for a fight. If you can't explain it, go for a fight.

Come on. We will follow whoever wins.

All right.

You win.

Please take it seriously.

I am serious.

Besides, losing to you is not something to be embarrassed about.

Zhuqing, you won. I'll listen to you.

Are you sure?

Only one thing, if you want to separate from me, I won't agree.

What a coincidence.

I won't agree either.

Since you're following me,

after Brother San and the others leave, we'll go back together.

- Zhuqing. - Listen to me first.

Now, Martial Soul Hall has thrown the entire continent into chaos.

Many people are experiencing life-and-death separations.

The fact that we can still be together is a blessing.

I don't want to waste it.

I've voiced out everything on my mind to you.

And you deliberately lost to me.

This shows that you understand my grievances.

I'm sorry.

I've always thought our fates were destined to be together.

I never considered whether you were willing to be bound like this.

I've also never asked what kind of life you wanted.

You're right.

I oversimplified the idea of overturning the ancestral rules.

But for your sake and for Star Luo's future,

I will give it my all.

Not just you,

but us.

Before changing the ancestral rules,

we have to face our responsibilities.

Do you remember Brother San asking us what the purpose of becoming stronger is?

I always thought it was to change my fate.

Now I understand, the purpose of becoming stronger is to shoulder responsibility

and to always care for the world.

Mubai, together, we'll carry out our obligation.

It's late now. Why aren't you going to rest?

For me, cultivating is resting.

You're trying so hard.

No, it's not enough.

There's only one year left until the clan reelection.

Time waits for no one.

Well, since I can't stop you, I'll stay by your side.

If you stare at me like that, I can't focus on my cultivation.

Stop flattering yourself. It's your own thought.

Don't forget. I'm just your imagination.

It seems that my heart isn't calm enough.

Stop thinking about me and focus on your cultivation.

That might be difficult. However,

I can multitask.

I never realized you were so slick.

Do you want to try again?

I've already tried several times. This poison is truly difficult to cure.

It seems I'll have to wait until I've united the four clans,

so I can entrust this to the expert elder.

So, it's all about uniting the four clans.

However, your meeting with Elder Bai He today was a total disaster.

Elder Niu and Elder Tai's good intentions led to more trouble.

Now, it's even harder.

That's fine.

I have other ways for this.

Do you remember what my aunt told me?

The Tribe of Agility is made up of Agility Martial Soul Masters.

In terms of speed, no clans on the continent can defeat them.

But speaking of their attacking and defensive power,

they're as weak as the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan.

If the other three tribes didn't protect the Tribe of Agility over the past years,

even without the Martial Soul Hall, they would've been taken up by the other clans long ago.

So, your grand uncle's weakness is obvious.

Just like the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, the Tang Sect can help them solve problems.

No wonder you're not worried at all. It seems that you have everything planned out.

I have little confidence to say that. However,

as long as I hand this thing to Elder Bai He and let him play with it for a few days,

he'll understand its significance to the Tribe of Agility.

By that time, I'll show him the true ability of the Tang Sect.

I believe he'll change his mind.

Is this item as powerful as you say?

Old White Bird, just try it out and see.

Since your tribe is not good at attack and defense,

this item is just perfect for you.

You used to hate these things. Why do you appreciate them now?

Because I've figured it out! Weapons are inanimate.

Whether it's good or evil depends on who uses them.

Old White Bird, I guarantee that once you've used this, you won't be able to put it down.

Grandpa, I want to try it.

Press here?

Xiang Xiang!

Xiao Ao!

It's your personal grudges, settle it yourselves.

Xiang Xiang, don't be impulsive.

This thing can pierce through a level 40 Soul Master. It's no joke.

If you bully another girl again, I'll shoot it through you.

Xiang Xiang.

Grandpa, this is a good thing.

No worries.

How wide is its range?

Its maximum power is guaranteed within 100 steps.

I want this. How much?

I want 200 of them.

Old White Bird, this thing is forged from the iron essence.

Its craftsmanship is complex, and the price is extremely high.

Considering that you have financial issues,

our chief has long decided to gift this Godly Zhuge Crossbow to you.

However, an extra 200, just forget about it.

Elder Tai is right.

Although you refuse to join the Tang Sect, you're still my elder.

This Godly Zhuge Crossbow is a meeting gift from me to you.

Thank you for your kindness, but I can't accept it without earning it.

I don't need this.

Elder, if you join the Tang Sect, I'll provide you with free secret weapons.

I'll equip your whole tribe with this.

So, this was your plan.

Firstly, you showcase the secret weapons, then luring us with benefits.

I have to admit, your offer is incredibly tempting.

However, the Tribe of Agility won't accept handouts.

We won't abandon our principles for all these.

Elder, you misunderstand me. Even if you don't join us, I won't force you.

This Godly Zhuge Crossbow is simply a token of my goodwill. Please accept it.

By the way, I have a small request.

I heard the Tribe of Agility is known for its speed and agility.

I've long wanted to witness it firsthand.

The Tang Sect would like to have a speed contest with the Tribe of Agility.

A speed contest with the Tribe of Agility?

How arrogant you are!

Elder, you would never know the outcome if we don't compete. Maybe we can win.

What a joke!

When it comes to speed, the Tribe of Agility has never lost.

If you insist on competing, fine.

I'll teach you a lesson so you'll know not to be so reckless in the future.

Tell me how you'd like to compete.

In 15 minutes, within this courtyard,

if you can touch any part of my body, you win.

If not, I win.

Grandpa, let me compete with him.

Young man, you have to be careful.

Among the Tribe of Agility,

Xiang Xiang is the most promising member of becoming a Titled Douluo.

Brother San, hold on.

Let me do this.

Sure. I'll leave it to you then.

Elder, please come with me.

What a small world.

No, perhaps we're destined. Don't you remember me?

How dare you speak nonsense? Light the incense.

Xiang Xiang is young, but she is already a four-ring Soul Ancestor.

Plus, she has the best soul ring ratio.

Old White Bird, your granddaughter is awesome.

Xiang Xiang is the most talented disciple in the Tribe of Agility.

All her soul rings are speed-type soul beasts.

Having a battle of speed against her peers, she won't lose.

Xiang Xiang, since this is a contest, I won't go lenient for you.

Keep your mouth shut!

- Phoenix Martial Soul! - I told you earlier,

don't underestimate Fatty by his looks.

He's a top-tier bird martial soul, and a five-ring Soul King.

White Bird, do you admit defeat now?

The phoenix is the king of birds.

It has a natural bloodline suppression over other bird types.

Xiang Xiang, be careful!

Even if he's a phoenix, purely on speed,

our needle-tailed swift won't necessarily lose.
