Okay?

- Yes.

- [Woman] Hi, can I have an autograph?

- Yeah.

(muffled beat music)

- [Woman] Thank you.

- Wanna take a picture?

- [Woman] Yeah, absolutely.

(camera snapping)

Thank you.

(crowd cheering)

(exciting beat music)

- [Lexi Voiceover] My name is Alexis "Lexi" Sandoval.

I was mostly raised by my dad.

The sky is dark.

Lonely.

The mountains are white.

It's cold.

(knocking)

- Alexis, come on out.

We got Chinese food.

(somber music)

I am George Sandoval

and I am from Puerto Rico.

We got our two kids.

My one daughter, she's going to college.

I'm so proud of her, she's going to college right now.

And Alexis, she loves the music

and she's doing something with the music.

I'm not quite sure what it is

but she loves it.

And then my wife,

Lanessa Sandoval.

Let me tell you about Lanessa Sandoval.

After she started waitressing, you know,

and we were able to put out money together,

one of her passions was playing piano and music

because she used to play piano in Puerto Rico

and so we brought the piano here

and Lanessa used to play the piano so beautifully

and then she started to get students to come

and she would teach them to play the piano,

which was fantastic.

I can tell you, it was great.

And then my daughters, when they were growing up,

like Lexi, she would play the piano all the time

with Lanessa.

It was beautiful and there would be music in the house

all the time.

(somber piano music)

And then when Lanessa got sick and she died,

then Lexi stopped play the piano.

And sometimes it's difficult for me

because I don't understand what Alexis is trying to do.

Lexi, I don't sometimes know what it is she wants.

- [Lexi Voiceover] I've never been in love before.

I've never loved myself.

(sexual moaning)

- Ow!

Ow, stop!

Stop!

- What the fuck, Lex?!

I'm fucking bleeding.

- [Lexi] I told you to stop!

- Why the fuck did you kick me?!

Be that way.

(somber music)

(bubbling)

- [Lexi] I'm done.

I'm leaving.

- I don't know what the fuck you think you're gonna do?

You're not gonna make it.

Nothing's gonna happen with you.

You're not gonna fucking be no fucking DJ.

- [Lexi Voiceover] I had to get out of this relationship.

- Get the fuck out of here.

(exciting beat music)

- [Lexi Voiceover] I wanna make something of myself.

I wanna do my mother proud.

(truck horn honking)

A bunch of kids just drove by me real quick.

I don't know where they going.

I don't know where I'm going.

I know I love music.

Music lives inside of me.

I want

what Gil Morrison has.

(thudding)

- [Gil] Game over, shit!

- Gil Morrison, can I please have your autograph, dude?

- Yeah, yeah.

- Thanks, man.

(beat music)

- [Gil Voiceover] But it's not just the music.

I'm connecting to the aliens.

We're having sex with the universe.

It's wild, it's almost religious.

It's like a spiritual event

and I'm the one

spinning the music.

Gil Morrison.

I play it loud!

I'll bring in everybody.

Race, religion, sexes,

they're all there.

Don't think about all those things you fear.

Just be there.
