The majority of my friends were white growing up in Hastings,

and I lived with my mum's side there, as well.

And on my mum's side, both my mum and my younger brothers

are white, as well.

Of course, like, they love me and they'll always support me,

but there's just certain things we just can't relate on.

So until I was about 13, I got, like, reunited

with my dad's side of the family -

and that's when kind of everything changed for me.
