and this environment will protect the memory of our beloved friend.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have returned

to the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California,

because of some events that have come to light

since our investigation in 2013.

The Glen Tavern was built in 1911 during the oil boom.

Santa Paula was flourishing.

Following Prohibition, the hotel's third floor

became a speakeasy, a brothel and a gambling house,

bringing excitement, debauchery, violence...

[gunshot]

[Zak] ...and darkness.

The first time we were here, we participated in a seance

with the Glen Tavern Inns' resident and psychic medium, Patrick Smith.

And when we experienced that seance with Patrick Smith,

he laid some tarot cards out

and he told us that there would be three events that would occur.

We didn't know what those events were.

But he also said that one of us would be severely affected.

One person is going to be really affected, um, by this

to the degree that it will be, um, stressful.

The night before our lockdown investigation,

Billy stayed the night in Room 307,

and while he was sleeping there,

he received a message that said, "Goodbye, oracle."

-[distorted voice] Goodbye, Oracle. -It just said, "Good--

[Zak] Billy also received the words, "before, spell,

soil, friendly, cards."

Patrick translated them as a threat by the spirits.

It's like an indication to do a ritual or a spell here.

On this soil?

Whatever comes is friendly.

[Zak] Mm-hmm.

And if that's not done, then it's, "Goodbye, Oracle."

[Zak] Who's the oracle?

You?

Patrick Smith was referred to as the Glen Tavern's Oracle.

That statement now means a lot to us.

Three months after that seance,

Patrick Smith tragically took his own life inside the Glen Tavern Inn.

We have been called back by his friends

and the owner of the Glen Tavern Inn

because there's been some things

that have been occurring at the hotel

that they're severely concerned about,

and they want closure for Patrick's death.

There is a darkness there that is affecting people.

Even the owner's husband

refuses to go back and set foot

on the very property that they own.

Something evil is here that has influenced Patrick.

We need to find out.

Right now, we're gonna go meet with the old general manager.

His name is Dusty,

and Dusty discovered Patrick's body

the night he took his own life.

[Dusty] I had gotten a phone call.

It was pretty early in the morning

from the girl at the front desk,

and one of Patrick's friends was reaching out.

She hadn't heard from him in a couple of days.

I thought it was unusual as they would speak all the time.

And so I said, "Okay, I'll go check it out and see...

see what he's doing, see if he's okay."

And, uh, that's when I... I walked into the apartment.

His screen door, uh, wasn't locked, so I slid it open.

I hollered into him, I said, "Patrick, Patrick."

And there wasn't any answer.

Something just didn't feel right to me.

I went to that first door, and I tried to push it open, and I couldn't get in.

I ran out the front door, and I jumped up over the ledge.

There's a little air conditioning unit there.

I stood up on the air conditioner.

I was able to get my hands up into the window,

and I look in enough, and I could see Patrick's legs on the floor.

Uh, and right then and there, I just... I lost it.

I just... I... I immediately called 911

and came running down to the front desk.

Do you think that this was just completely out of left field

for him to do something like this?

Absolutely.

I would never have expected

-for Patrick to take his own life. -Really?

owner, Rosanna, and her daughter, Aishah,

show me the memorial to Patrick

and reveal a heartwarming detail

knotted within this dark and emotional investigation.

Before I continue with Rosanna,

we get a last-minute interview with Pearl, a former employee.

You spoke to Patrick the day before he died, right?

I did. He came in the bar.

We spoke briefly.

Um, he just didn't seem like himself.

He was just very down, agitated.

I... I did ask him, I said, "Are you okay, Patrick?"

And he says, "Oh, no, I'm... I'm okay.

I just have a lot of information coming in right now."

-Um-- -"A lot of information

-coming in"? -[Pearl] Mm-hmm. Yes.

It's sort of as if he was just...

Somebody was talking in his ear.

So, you took that as he was...

-Something around him was... -[Pearl] Receiving information, yes.

-When he would tell me that was because he was... -[Zak]...giving--

-...receiving information from-- -[Zak] From the spirits.

Spirits, yes.

I mean, that really tells me that at that moment

-that he was being affected by the spirits here. -[Pearl] Mm-hmm. Very much.

I've never, never seen him like that before.

-[Zak] Really? -Hmm.

Did he look like himself?

He did not look like himself.

He seemed just in a hurry and just trying to deal

with whatever the voices were in his head.

And it was just disturbing to hear him say that about too much information.

[Pearl] Mm-hmm.

[Zak] And to know that spirits could have that affect.

-That's so tragic. -Very.

[Zak] Could it be these voices that Patrick was hearing

that are affecting others so deeply?

Did Rosanna's husband hear them?

Why does your husband not like it here?

My husband wants nothing to do with it and wants to sell it.

I think some things don't make sense.

So, does he just not come here?

He hasn't been here in two years.

[Zak] Has Rosanna's husband experienced

something so dark and evil

that he fears for his own life?

Is this entity in the process of ridding this place of threats...

particularly the most powerful one?

Do you think something demonic influenced Patrick?

It had to be.

[Zak] Patrick, the oracle.

Is there something that you saw?

Oh, that was really scary.

Uh, I was lying down.

[Zak] So, what did you see?

[Rosanna] He looked like a... a small person with a little smile,

and, uh, he looked towards me and started, like, laughing.

And then, uh, he started jumping real quickly

and was gonna jump on top of my bed.

But I started praying.

I said, "Oh, dear God, please help me,

protect me from whatever this is," you know,

and he disappeared.

-Just like that. -Do you think this was something demonic?

-Yes, definitely. -Really?

Why is so much happening here?

I mean, I know that flood happened.

[Rosanna] I think making that connection,

I think there's a lot of souls that got taken away.

I mean, it took a lot of people out,

and maybe those... those spirits have not had closure,

-so they feel like they're still here. -[Zak] Yeah.

This building could be sitting on something

that is so powerful of energy

that we'll just never understand it,

we'll never comprehend it.

I'm not the only one who shares this view.

Rosanna's daughter, Aishah, also believes

there is no comprehension to what's happening here.

I believe that this property was built

over something that is connected to something,

like you said, the astral planes,

but also on a multidimensional level

that is outside of our understanding.

I think that spirits here, they find their energetic kin.

Aishah now discusses the reason we're back...

the oracle, Patrick.

Patrick was a remarkable human being.

He was one of my best friends,

and he was the most incredible Irish seer.

He brought that sagacious wisdom from Ireland.

He told me this place was so active,

it was like a casino.

It was, like, so loud.

Patrick's problem had to do

with isolation, solitude, melancholy,

and with... with that mixture, that alchemy combined

with whatever is on the third floor.

There's something so dark up there.

[Zak] It is no surprise that the energy

on the third floor is strong.

It is the third floor where the speakeasy,

brothel and gambling house were.

With rumors of murders and even a beheading,

the darkness that plagues this floor

is undeniable in its power.

The energetic alchemy of the third floor

is just this revelation of darkness,

and I think that there's a gatekeeper up there,

doesn't let anybody else free from that the hallway.

[Zak] Still deep into our investigation of the Glen Tavern Inn,

merging our experiences from our 2013 visit with our present return,

this dark and emotional journey just keeps ramping up,

leading us closer to discovering what led Patrick Smith,

the Glen Tavern Oracle, down his sad and fatal road,

and why this hotel is pulsating with countless entities.

Rosanna told us this hotel is full of synchronicities.

If we pay attention to them and line them up,

we might access new information

that would otherwise be overlooked.

In one of these synchronicities,

we meet Victor and Jazmyne, who, like Billy,

have also experienced something in Room 307.

-Both of you are paranormal investigators as well, right? -[both] Yes.

Patrick Smith, the oracle here

had a death by suicide in the hotel,

and we're here to try to find out

if something spirit-wise had something to do with this.

Keep that in mind.

With the entire hotel cleared out,

we head up to Room 307

to learn about what Victor and Jazmyne experienced.

He was very aware of what we were doing then.

This is where Billy was when he received the messages.

Before entering Room 307,

I tried to get a response from the Ovilus.

-[Billy] What? -It says, "Pray, baby."

-Wow, that's-- -Like, pray before you go in there.

[Billy] Zak, there's a huge figure standing next to you right now.

-I know, I can feel it. -It looks like it's up on the ceiling, too.

-Yeah, it's, uh-- -[Zak] My heart is racing, you guys.

[Aaron] It's like your energy, Zak, has come out of your body.

-[Billy] Yeah. Oh, it's grabbing on-- -[Aaron] And there's another

energy next to it, and you guys are swatting each other's face and fighting.

-[Jay] I have never seen-- -[Billy] I've never seen anything like that.

[Aaron] Dude, it's like a... like a martial arts fight!

-Look at this. Look at it just like-- -[Aaron] Oh! It's battling.

-[Billy] Look, and they're mapped, too. -Scratched.

-It's on the ceiling above you. -I have a weird feeling

-like somebody's gonna get hurt. -[Billy] Wow.

[Zak] Despite their trepidation, they enter 307,

the same room where, in 2013,

Billy heard the Ovilus say, "Goodbye, Oracle."

It just said, "Good-- Goodbye.

"Goodbye, Oracle."

I want you to tell me what happened to you in here.

I was in here by myself.

I was doing a Spirit Box session,

and, uh, I was asking what was found in the closet,

'cause the decapitated head was found in there.

And, uh, it said, "Head."

And then I started hearing knocking sounds,

and I started hearing kind of rustling, like, on the bed.

To me, it felt like I was hearing her being murdered on here.

I started just feeling this aggressive "get out" feeling.

And I heard a huge, loud bang,

and I just... I needed to get out of here.

[Zak] Everyone exits the room, but I stay behind

using a newer version of the same Ovilus device that the spirits used

to give that threatening message to Patrick.

What did you do to Patrick?

Oh, my God.

[Aaron] What?

[Zak] What did you do to Patrick? It says, "Slain."

No way.

-Oh, my God. -[Aaron] Stop!

And then it says, "Day nine."

I feel like I can't breathe.

It just feels [bleep] heavy.

Oh, my God! Billy, get in here right now!

What did I just say?

-[Billy] "Heavy." -[Zak] It came in at the same exact moment.

I looked up and I looked down, and it was there.

This is validating to us that those messages you received in 2013

were delivered by whatever this is.

[Billy] Absolutely.

We're gonna get off this floor for a minute.

We've just wrapped up interviews.

There's a lot going on here.

So instead of leaving for the night

is an incredible yet terrifying audio capture.

[Zak] As Billy is looking down the hall,

the Ovilus his room says, "secret, gateway, help!"

when he received the message for Patrick,

"Goodbye, Oracle."

Could this now be an attempt by Patrick

to communicate with Billy?

The synchronicities here

are walking hand in hand with our investigation.

Using our tools and asking the right questions

is definitely creating a paranormal frenzy, and it's palpable.

Patrick, the oracle, is wrapped up in that very frenzy,

and he is without a doubt strong enough to reach through it.

But now it's time to pull out the big guns.

This is night two of our investigation

here at the Glen Tavern Inn.

And I wanna state how interesting this place is.

We already knew that,

and we already knew about all of the synchronicities

that I believe the spirits are trying to put in front of us.

A lot of strange things have happened here,

and they're continuing to happen here.

Last night, I had a dream.

I was using an ITC device, the SB7 Spirit Box.

And in this dream, I was with a very dear friend of mine,

and him and I were both using this device.

And we were hearing a woman coming through it screaming, bloodcurdling.

I immediately text my friend.

And I wanna introduce my friend.

This is Jonathan Davis.

-What's up, brother? -This is my, uh, my brother here,

and, um, you guys may recognize him

from the band, Korn.

And I immediately text you about this.

You did. It just stuck with me.

I was like, "Well, I wonder what the hell is going on."

And then now I'm here.

And the device that I was using

-was an SB7 Spirit Box designed by Gary Galka. -Yes.

Gary, I want you to come here.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is getting very weird.

But again, these are the spirits putting us all together.

In 2013, we were also joined by a musician and singer, Mimi Page,

who was also present during Patrick's seance.

More synchronicities.

My goal here is to try to talk to Patrick,

but I'm also concerned

about the process in doing that,

if whatever affected him can also come through, Gary.

We can't control what comes through the device, Zak.

what are they saying.

We start by investigating the first and second floors,

but receive no activity.

So we decide to go to the third floor, and as we do,

Gary and Aaron seem to start receiving communication.

So, guys, the... the way that this is gonna work,

it's up to you now to start manipulating some of the stuff.

At which time I feel this strange static on my hair.

Guys, I just felt something on the left side of my head and my hair.

And I wonder what would happen...

[Zak] Watch now as the monitor that's been locked

and secured for over an hour suddenly falls over.

And it's ironic that it's the same monitor that's showing the figure.

It's as if the figure does not want to be seen.

This also happens the moment the figure vanishes.

[Billy] It's not just gonna go away, you know.

But I feel like I could pick you up and...

...and this has been sitting up here for an hour.

And it just so happens that this monitor falls.

-It's weird 'cause it tilt... -It feels strong. I can't even bend it.

[Billy] I know. It tilted itself down.

And when I lifted it back up...

-Like, I have to expel that. -[Billy] It's weird.

Like, it's built up, and I just have to expel it.

When was the last time you guys seen me like this, man?

It was this big.

that as I expelled the energy absorbed into me,

this massive black anomaly moves from our direction

to check Jonathan out.

It also seems to be casting a shadow on the floor.

[Zak] Back on the third floor, we've moved the camera rig

down the hall to Room 307.

-[Billy] You what? -I always, like,

get drawn and feel the energy towards the chairs in the room.

Last two rooms we were in, it was in the chair.

-[Billy] In the chair? -[Jonathan speaking]

Like, in these areas. I was just, like...

Just, like, cold and...

Here, dude.

[Billy] Why was the bed messed up?

When I came in, I saw it was all messed up.

-[Billy] It was. -[Jonathan] Mm-hmm.

[Jonathan] There's some weird mass right here at the door,

that's all purple that keeps flashing in and out.

Never seen this before.

[Zak] Billy notices what appears to be a human shape

with a very distinct head, neck and shoulders.

And it even casts its own shadow.

There is absolutely nothing explainable

in front of the camera that's causing this.

It just keeps popping.

It's literally right there.

The shadow of it over here looks like a...

And then something just flew off of it.

[Zak] This black anomaly we see appear to shoot out of the unexplained figure

aligns with our continued findings

that these black orbs and masses will frequently

be seen during and after

when unexplained figures appear.

where I was badly affected last night,

and Jonathan head straight for the chair.

-It's f... -[Zak] What is it?

I don't know. I think, like,

it makes me feel like I'm just, like...

Whatever it is, it'd be sitting right here.

[Zak] Coincidentally, Jonathan now starts feeling strangely affected.

And this, like, I got...

a hundred pounds on my shoulder right now.

[Jonathan exhales deeply]

Yeah, bro.

[shudders]

[Zak] You're feeling what I felt.

[Jonathan] Yeah, man. It's pretty [bleep] intense.

Jonathan later informed me that while he was sitting in the chair,

he had visions of women being tortured by very bad men.

[exhales]

Well, that was weird.

[Jonathan] Zak, you okay?

I just had, like, a palpitation.

-[Jonathan] Yeah. It was [bleep] with your heart. -Yeah.

I don't know, man. It's just like...

[Zak] Did you feel any of that?

Yes. And my heart has been doing that when I'm, like,

in the chairs. It's those corners.

I'm not going to question it. Just, but that's where I feel the energy is.

I feel like I'm back in the dream again, Jonathan.

And I'm wondering if this is all happening.

something truly remarkable occurs.

As I'm on the stairs, I hear and see someone open and close

the second floor door.

To make this even more incredible,

we have an X cam shooting the other side of the door,

and you can clearly see, there is nothing in the hall,

but you can distinctly hear the door.

Tell me you have a camera on that door.

-That door just opened a little bit. -[Jay] No [bleep] way.

I now call for Aaron and Gary to immediately join us.

After investigating the second floor and finding nothing,

Aaron and Gary arrive, and I immediately go to Room 308

just to see if Gary has any experiences

without telling him anything.

This is also his very first time inside the building.

-Gary? -Oh, what a different vibe.

Oh, no. This is [bleep] crazy.

I feel like I have to be anchored...

-With Jonathan, dude. -I got like...

You know what I'm saying? Like, he's...

Gary, what I want to do is, is I want...

to take you upstairs to a specific room.

[Gary] First off, I'm feeling a little bit of pressure on both sides of my ears.

And I'm feeling dizzy.

A little bit dizzy. Off-balance.

Not terribly off-balance like I want to faint or anything.

But, it's almost like

walking in one of those carnival platforms,

...you know, your equilibrium is off.

You know, you see where you want to go.

It's like seeing the horizon, but you're...

you can't get there.

You're off-balance.

You don't... You can't walk a straight line.

[Zak] So people live in this room,

they sleep here and they use this

to put their shoes on or get dressed.

[Zak] Earlier, when we did an EMF sweep in this room,

we documented no high measurements to support any EMFs

causing abnormal physical symptoms.

I'm feeling a vibration up through my legs.

Okay. So right now my whole body is shaking.

As Billy and Gary are talking about Patrick...

I hope he's passed and transitioned over.

...this anomaly drops down right in front of Gary's face.

Then, three seconds later,

two anomalies enter our room,

check us out, then leave back into the hallway.

Jonathan starts becoming obsessed with the chair

and asks me if he can take it with him,

which is rather odd.

[Jonathan] Can I have that chair please?

[Zak] You know, Gary wants the chair.

Gary doesn't want any chairs.

[Jonathan] Did you want the chair, Gary?

No, I don't want the chair.

Now you know what it's like.

at the same exact table that Patrick did a seance with us

in 2013.

going on on the third floor, near Room 308.

And then I had that dream.

-Jonathan came here. He experienced that. -Yeah.

The device that we were using in the dream,

was invented and created by Gary Galka.

And you came here

and went to the same room

and felt the same thing.

This was an amazing, unforgettable investigation.
