[NARRATOR] Lisa allows herself the luxury of a moment's rest,

and her thoughts are with her friends

on the SDF-1.

space is literally stuffed

All ships stand prepared.

As Rick and Lisa prepare to take off

and rejoin their friends, it is hard for them to believe

that once again the SDF-1 and its courageous fighters

have braved the Zentraedi onslaught

and emerged victorious.

But the price they have paid is staggering.

Although the surface of the Earth

has been all but destroyed by the aliens,

there are survivors with the will to rebuild

for a new and better tomorrow.
