Hey.
There's an annual dance competition called Battlefield America.
It's a place where kids go to dance.
These kids have never even come close to making it past the auditions.
[sighs]
What they need more than a dance teacher is a leader.
And I don't know anybody better at being a leader than you.
You really came through for us.
That makes us the real winners.
[sighs loudly]
-Are you okay, Ms. Sarah? -Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.
What are we going to do without Sean?
We are just going to have to move on
and do this without him. Okay?
[Sarah] Hey, you. I'm writing you this letter
to say thanks. Over the past couple of weeks
you have been such an inspiration to these boys.
You took the extra time needed with them to get the job done right.
But it wasn't just about a job.
You did it because you wanted to.
You will never understand
the effect you've had on these boys' lives.
And most importantly... mine.
And I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Not only did I meet such a great person, but...
I also found a true friend.
P.S.
I love you.
You miss him too, Ms. Sarah, don't you?
I do.
[sobs loudly]
[Sean] Sarah won't talk to me and...
I'm sure the kids hate me and that's...
[sighs] I don't, I don't know what I'm doing.
-Why, you are looking awfully comfortable? -Yeah.
You know Mr. Lewis, I honestly didn't think
you'd finish your hours, but you did.
And, uh,
that's good but,
I think in a way you still gave up.
You gave up...
on those little boys.
You gave up on Sarah.
But I had no choice, I mean,
my, my job, and partner...
There's no future in teaching.
I'm not even a dancer, I, I'm a marketing guy, I don't know--
-Okay, so... -[sighs]
...listen, maybe you made
the right decision, but-- Mr. Lewis,
really, Gucci, they're really nice, but could you--
-Yeah, I'm so sorry. -Please? Thank you so much.
[sighs]
Maybe you made the right decision.
I mean, you've got the life you want, right?
Porsches, promotions...
-Hmm? -Yeah. [scoffs]
Then why do I feel
so horrible about it?
Hmm.
Well, everything happens for a reason.

and the hard thing is living with the choice you made.
