I've been waiting to make a move, and the time is now.

This tribal council was the last time

I could use my safety without power,

and I opted not to use it.

Securing the safety of my entire team is more important

than securing my own safety.

But I still have an idol in my pocket, and

from what I know, I'm the only one with any additional power.

Yeah.

I feel really good about my position.

I have a strong alliance that now is in the majority.

With Kyle, shauhin, Joe and myself,

that's four out of six, so,

it should be pretty cut-and-dry.

We just pick off the other members.

I think everything's catching up to me, man.

I think we're in a unique

situation, meaning the alliance

that I'm a part of, because

if the four stays strong, even if

Mitch or kamilla wins immunity,

the other one would go home.

Been kind of trying to figure out whether or not

I'm just gonna slide to the end with the four

or try to make a final salvo with, kamilla and Mitch.

And while kamilla is definitely my clear-cut number one, I do

have emotional ties on the other side.

But I've been playing with heart, and it's time

to play with a little bit more of my head.

I just feel if Joe's sitting at the end, it's so hard

Joe has been playing the best game.

I'm playing the best game.

And at the end of the day, I really care about Joe.

I'm not trying to just make moves to make moves.

I'm trying to win the game.

Feels to me like he's getting antsy and he wants

The only person I'm afraid of, really, is Joe.

nobody wants to sit with Joe at the end

because he's been perceived

as the leader of the majority group.

He's won so many challenges.

He's got a good story.

If we send Joe home, I think

there's, like, a pretty good chance

one of us wins individual immunity.

Joe and Eva decide who's going home.

uncomfortable, but 22 days out in the jungle

it's all uncomfortable.

For today's challenge,

you're gonna use very small handholds

to secure yourself on a steep ramp

suspended over water.

At regular intervals,

you'll move to smaller handholds,

making it more difficult.

without slipping and falling off.

because that handhold is even smaller.

of me and my mom reconnecting.

I made her watch a bunch of seasons.

She fell in love with the show.

And just having a little piece of her out here

it's something I definitely miss out here.

And so, excited to get to see that, for sure.

But for me, like, it is rare to see

a man who is in touch with his emotion,

This one's from my mom.

This is what I was fighting for.

This is the one I wanted to read.

"you always have surprised me.

are so honorable that it brings me so much joy."

Today is a huge day for me.

It's-it's survivoreuphoria.

Each letter was so powerful.

But my son writes in the letter... Dude, look at that.

"I believe in you.

"You're amazing.

I want to give you a hug."

Says... "You're the

bravest dad ever."

- Yes, you are. - Yeah.

- Hell yeah. - Yes, you are.

- Thanks. - You got it.

He wrote, "bravest dad ever."

And then he said, "believe in yourself, dad."

And... he's ten.

It is hard to believe in yourself out here.

And then, you know,

your ten-year-old son has the wisdom to tell you that.

It's pretty awesome.

My dad said, "you make me so proud in so many ways."

"I can't promise to be here " for the rest of your life,

"but I can promise that I will love you,

"believe in you,

and be proud of you for the rest of mine."

I've never heard him... Say anything close to that

my entire life.

Yeah, dude.

Never have I heard him say anything like that.

That's a blessing, real.

My dad is, like,

one of my best friends, my first friend.

And now I'm sitting

next to Joe and shauhin while I'm reading this letter,

and both of them have lost their dads.

They both have had such significant loss.

And Joe talks about his dad and-and the passing of

his sister just a few years prior.

So, today's a big day for me.

You know, down to six people.

So, j-o-a-n-n-a.

Six. Everything I do is in six.

- Every workout I do, every weight I lift. - Wow.

And then, as her brother... You got one job

as the older brother, is you protect her at all costs.

- Yeah. - And I.

I lost my sister to domestic violence,

and it was pretty brutal, the way she passed. And

my last night, before she passed,

we fought on the phone. And

I've been struggling with that since she's been gone now

for a while.

We fought

that night, and I never talked to her again.

And it's just hard to explain that weight.

We always say

we love each other when we get off the phone, but

we didn't that night.

And then... I never heard her voice again.

I never saw her again.

And so... Living with that has been very difficult.

Think I'm gonna just lay in a Sandy spot out there.

Yeah, I'm just gonna chill here.

Like, in what world...

- Doesn't make sense for any... - Do you feed

the most competitive person here?

Like, we're... He... I'm, like, frustrated

with how things are going at this game.

It was like, "all right, if we get to six",

"like, we can make moves.

"We can make sure that we're in control,

that we fuel the right people."

But the move shauhin made didn't make sense

from a competitive standpoint.

It's stupid. Like...

Yeah.

I'm playing this game with a bunch of knuckleheads.

Yeah.

Mitch is, like,

super frustrated with shauhin at this point

for handing Joe a million dollars,

because you are feeding the enemy.

We need Joe to not win immunity.

Well, freakin' shauhin.

It's like, "dude, if you wanted

to vote him off tomorrow, don't give him food."

By choosing to fuel Joe,

shauhin might have sealed his fate.

So I feel like if Joe wins immunity, shauhin can go.

It felt like all my boys went out on the town,

went to go have

a banger of a night, and left me home with my parents.

I'm sitting home with two,

like, adults that want to, like, watch the news.

But I hope that they do think of me

when they're there and maybe, like,

cheers a burger to me,

to be like, "you know what? Like, we have her back"

"at camp to watch the other two and make sure

they're not scheming."

Should we talk about Kyle real quick while he's gone?

Is there any benefit in getting rid of him next?

Is it not being patient enough?

You know there's no point in us going after each other,

which makes us the perfect allies right now.

I've been spooked of shauhin

ever since he went through my bag

and lied to my face on new vula, so, I realized shauhin

is now starting to sort of make his play, and I think

that he needs me to be a part of that.

And it's like the game of chicken

between me and him, because

it truly does come down to who might make the move first.

To me, I feel as if both of us still have a chance to win.

But, like, I'm now in a place

- where I'm also thinking about the game. - Of course.

You don't come out here to not think about the game.

Yeah, the million...

You don't read your family letters and go,

"yeah, let me just give it to Joe."

Like, you want to take Joe out at fire?

Is that what I try and do?

Beat the fireman at fire?

Yeah.

The reward of getting Joe out

is that, probably, we're the front-runners.

- And I'm like... - But okay, cool.

- Why are you doing it? - So we send Joe to the jury.

- And then what does he do? - He advocates for Eva.

- Right. - Yeah.

The only real play at six is getting rid of Eva.

Thankfully, shauhin helps me out

by proposing to me betraying the other people on our alliance.

Now I think he's actually ready

to make a move against Joe or Eva.

We get rid of Eva at six.

Eva goes home with the idol in her pocket.

And really only the two of us know

- that we're working together. - Right.

So that would have to be a secret.

I mean, it would... it would be the ultimate trust play.

You would have to trust me...

Burn me.

I want to make a move,

but I don't want to make shauhin's move.

And whether this conversation is real or not,

it gives me every single bit of

moral go-ahead to play the game the way I want to.

That, I think, is our best play.

And... 'cause Eva wouldn't play the idol

because she wouldn't know that it's coming.

Right.

Wow.

Okay.

The game of chicken is over,

but I do have to beat him to the punch.

And it just so happens that he's my punch line. He has

to be my target, and I have to figure out

a way to paint the perfect target on his back.

Like, is that the move to win the million dollars?

I think that's them.

How was it?

Missed you guys.

The reward was great.

I was able to get full and get a clear head, but

I couldn't sleep that much because I was thinking

about all the things that needed to get done.

Yeah, what's up, kamilla?

We all do our pleasantries, but then I know

it's kind of time to get to business.

Kamilla.

Hey.

So I need to talk to kamilla.

The best leverage I have in this game

is that no one knows

that kamilla and I are working the room together.

And we've really been trying

to workshop ideas on how we both can

get to the end, how one of us can get to the end, and

most importantly, how one of us can get to the end and win.

- All right, bear with me. - Yeah.

- But I think I have an idea... - Yeah.

That can get us both final four

and one of us guaranteed final three.

- What? - It's a move. I-I swear it's a move.

Okay, so, what are our goals, right?

We need to undermine Joe's game somehow

so that one of us can win.

So, shauhin is ready to flip.

He's ready.

Like, I can't tell

if he's trying to fake me out or not,

- yeah. - But he brought it up.

So, what if I tell Joe, shauhin said

that his plan is to take Eva out?

Yeah.

I'm trying to figure out a way for kamilla and I

to guarantee ourselves to the final four.

And the only way that I could think to do it

is to actually get rid of shauhin, but to do it

without blood on kamilla and I's hands.

To the contrary,

I actually need it to look like kamilla and I

saved Joe and Eva by saying that shauhin's trying

to flip and you're the target.

So, what about this move, okay?

What if we leveraged our secret relationship

and I went to Joe and I said this:

"Shauhin showed kamilla that he found the idol."

Yeah.

This plan is absolutely wild.

Kyle is going to start a little rumor

that involves me.

And I'm gonna say that shauhin wanted to make a move,

and he showed me he had this idol.

A move like this... it's complicated,

harebrained, but I think that we can pull it off.

The beauty of this plan, kamilla,

is that Joe and Eva are gonna be indebted to us.

- Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. - Exactly.

- In the... - Good job, man.

Good... job, man.

And I'm like, "damn, Kyle is smart."

Like, I couldn't have even thought of something like that.

Like, that is an amazing plan, and I think

through it. I'm like, "this actually could work."

- We just have to do our acting. - Yes.

- And we're good at it. - Yes. Yes.

This is gonna be a very hard sell.

Kamilla and I have had to act together

a lot through this game, but to me,

this kind of seems like our final act that we need to do.

The same narrative that Mary and star had been telling me

is that Joe's in control,

Joe's been in control this entire game.

But like, we can just undermine that narrative

and say, "no, listen, we've been the brains"

"behind the entire operation the entire time."

Yeah.

- "We even got Joe to eat - shauhin." - Yeah.

This plan is, like, super risky.

But if we can pull off this move,

we can take out one of the bigger threats in this game.

Yes. I love this plan.

So, we're gonna frame shauhin tonight.

Well, I think it's time.

Coming into this game, my motivation was my sister.

She's the one that wanted to be here.

She's the one that saw it from the first episode.

That's why I applied.

I wanted to be Joanna's voice.

And so, I needed some closure to try to

hopefully help start some healing.

The night before you passed,

I said some things I didn't mean.

And I never spoke to you again.

Passed that morning.

And, I feel closer out here to you.

I'm so sorry for the things I said.

I know you didn't mean the things you said either.

And I never got the chance to say I love you.

Most of all, I know I had one job as a brother.

I think that getting those letters

Let's get to today's immunity challenge.

First things first, kamilla.

Got to take it back.

- Thank you. - Yes.

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.

For today's challenge, you're gonna toss

a sandbag to release a rope.

You'll then use that rope for balance as you walk

on a barrel and make your way down the course.

You'll then crawl under a net

and retrieve a bag of balls. Once you reach the finish,

you must maneuver both those balls

through a winding snake track.

First person to finish wins immunity.

With the immunity necklace,

it means you're safe tonight at tribal.

That means you're guaranteed a spot in five.

That means you will make the finale of survivor48.

Losers, different story.

Tribal council, where somebody will be

the 13th person voted out,

become the sixth member of our jury.

will be over. Big enough stakes?

First, you're gonna use that sandbag

to knock down the rope.

There you go. Kyle's got his.

- Where's mine? - Keep tossing.

Kamilla has hers.

Now you're gonna launch that monkey's fist,

try to secure it. Joe gets his very quickly.

It's still Eva now working for hers.

Eva got a lot of strength. Just got to hit the target.

My god.

Mitch lands his.

There goes Joe.

It is Joe in the early lead.

Mitch right behind.

It is Mitch on the barrel and Joe on the barrel.

Shauhin... he's secured his rope.

He can work on the barrel now.

Yes. Kyle's got his. He's good.

Kamilla still working on hers.

You're getting closer, kamilla.

This is how you do it!

Brand-new element to the survivor challenge.

Shauhin, like he's at a circus,

- making it look easy. - No!

- Hit that bag. - You're good, shauhin.

Shauhin moving on. It's shauhin in the lead.

Eva has her rope now, she can get back in it.

Got to hit that sandbag with the barrel.

No, Mitch.

Got to go back.

Shauhin in the lead.

Got to crawl under that heavy net.

You're good, Joe. Joe now heading to the net.

Kyle getting closer. You're good, Kyle.

This is a very heavy net.

Takes a lot of work to get through it.

Shauhin is out. Gonna untie his bag of balls.

Joe working to get through it.

Kyle's under the net.

Shauhin... he can start work on that snake track.

You're good, Mitch.

Mitch heading to the net now.

- Ooh. - It's now kamilla and Eva.

- Yes. - Eva secures her rope.

She can now get on the barrel.

Joe has his bag of balls.

It's shauhin first to the track.

Then Joe. Kyle right behind them.

Got to keep that ball balanced on your pole.

You got to keep it on the track

and go around the obstacles.

- Kamilla has hers! - Come on.

So shauhin just threw his own game, really,

because he might very likely go home tonight.

And if he goes home tonight, it's because he fed Joe.

I have some exciting news. For the first time ever,

and then blindside your dad or your brother.

Rarefied air, Joe... four.

I have this plan to blindside shauhin,

and kamilla and I are already prepped.

We've already sort of figured out our roles.

The first person

that I need to talk to and the first step

of this plan is, I need to get to Joe.

But shauhin's the guy that Joe's been

working with since day one.

And Joe having the necklace makes it all the harder,

because Joe, when he doesn't have the necklace,

has shown to be not cool-head Joe.

So, it makes my plan to blindside shauhin

even harder to sell because I needed Joe

sort of in a little bit of a tizzy.

- Such a beast. - Thanks, bro.

But regardless, it's now or never.

It just requires a little bit more creativity

from kamilla and I.

Okay.

You got to roll up your sleeves and go to work. I always

have my sleeves rolled just in case

I got to do a little dirty work.

Okay, don't... don't freak out.

- Okay. - Shauhin flipped.

So...

"We should make a move, right?

"Like, you and me are in the middle of all this,

"if you really think about it,

"'cause you got Mitch and kamilla,

and you got Joe and Eva. They're tight."

And he's like, "if Joe doesn't win

or if Eva doesn't win, like, I could flip."

He was, like, check in with kamilla.

So, I check in with kamilla.

And this is where it gets a little interesting, bro.

Basically, she was like, "shauhin showed me the idol."

The truth is that shauhin actually

is thinking about flipping. The flat-out lie is

that kamilla saw shauhin with an idol.

I need to see Joe's paranoia come out a little bit,

because if he is scared of an idol,

he won't go to shauhin to confront him about this.

So, real quick, to review, 'cause I'm confused.

And I'm not being a... I'm being serious,

- because my brain works slow sometimes. - Yeah.

Okay, so just-just so I know.

So, what he's trying to do right now,

ultimately, at the end of the day,

exactly.

Okay. Okay, okay, okay.

When I hear this information, I freeze for a moment

and analyze who's telling me this.

Why are they telling me, body language, eye contact.

So let's back up.

- So he is actually leading this right now. - Yes.

So basically, once I get the transcript in my head,

I have to think of why.

Why are you telling me this?

Yeah, bro. I-I know.

So let me-let me...

Hey, hey, I will not do anything right now.

Yeah.

- Let me just... - Give me, like, 30 minutes -totally.

- Of like, "what the hell just happened?" - Yes.

Is it true? Maybe, but it could also be a complete

lie.

So, Kyle just approached me.

He tells me that shauhin has flipped.

He pitched to Kyle, like,

to split us up, and they were gonna get us.

And that they were gonna devise a plan tonight,

if one of us didn't win, to get us tonight.

Okay? Allegedly.

Come to find out, kamilla tells Kyle he got an idol

and showed her the idol. That shauhin actually...

That shauhin actually has had the idol this whole time?

That's allegedly what kamilla said she saw with her own eye.

Hearing that shauhin was flipping on us

felt like a punch in the gut.

I've been working with him for a very long time.

But he's smart enough to realize

if he sits next to me and Joe, he's not winning.

So we got to figure out who's lying to us.

Who do we trust?

Is Kyle lying to us? Is shauhin flipped?

Is kamilla making all this... up?

I mean, this literally is brilliant

'cause it could be anybody.

- I don't think this is it. - I get a

I get a better vibe, honestly, from Kyle than shauhin.

I do, but I don't know.

He could be... us all together.

- Yeah. - I'm talking to kamilla next.

- Yeah. Yeah. - Cool? All right.

I could very well be played here,

but, it's just, in my gut, I feel I can trust Kyle.

Okay.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, please.

When Joe pulls me aside, I'm like,

"all right, it's my turn to-to lie."

- So Kyle shared with me. - Yeah.

- It was gonna be me or Eva. - Yeah.

- And was that put in play by shauhin? - Yes.

- Now, my... - He came up, and he's like, "don't worry."

- And he opened his bag. - Okay.

And he showed me beads.

And he basically is claiming he has an idol?

- Yeah. - Wow.

I don't know now.

And that was straight from shauhin's mouth?

Wow.

So I corroborate Kyle's story with Joe.

I tell him all of the lies, and Joe seems to buy it.

Okay.

I will throw shauhin completely under the bus.

My favorite thing to do on survivor is just pick a person,

don't give them any heads up, run them over with a bus,

back up, run them over again.

That's just what I've been doing out here, and it's fun.

- So the thing is... - He's... and this whole time,

he's never showed me an idol the whole time.

- I-I... - Not once.

- The thing is, I have been... - He physically showed you?

Yes, and it did not... It was... it...

You okay? You good?

- You good? - Yeah.

Good cover.

He... I mean, he told us, like,

no one can sit at the end next to Joe.

- Right? - Okay.

Joe and shauhin have been tight this entire game.

So this is scary to pull off because

if Joe goes back to shauhin and tells him,

"kamilla told me that she saw your idol,"

it's very likely that I'll get caught

in all these lies, and I might be

the person going home tonight.

I felt like, this morning, there was a very simple plan.

Yes?

We got to make sure we have all information out.

Are there any other things in play?

Like, idols, advantages? No.

If we vote four strong, we get Mitch.

There's nothing they can do.

I have a conversation with shauhin,

and I straight went dad mode.

And that's where you believe now, based on the facts,

there's a possibility

your kids put their hands in the cookie jar.

I'm trying to... Process reality right now.

Let me ask you a question.

It would still be Mitch, right?

- Yes. For me, -yes. - I mean, just in general.

Yes.

I know.

What are you trying to tell me, Joe?

I'm not trying to tell you anything.

I'm saying that right now in this game, it feels like

there's some chaos, and I'm just trying to figure out what it is.

There's no chaos, man.

I'm running through the options with you

so that we know what we're going into tonight.

I'm not saying that you are causing the chaos.

Okay.

I even baited him.

I was hoping that maybe he would sense my vibe

and just go, "all right, man, here's what I did."

But he stuck to our original story,

which is, we're going to vote out Mitch.

Is that the 100% truth?

Is something else going on that I don't know about?

- I've done nothing. - Okay.

I can tell you that.

I don't understand what that means, man.

It means, like, I've done nothing.

- This should be the fun part of survivor. - I agree.

And you're, you're acting like I... in your pancakes.

Well, I promise you this.

I finally get a chance to talk to my number one.

He doesn't want to talk to me?

I don't know where that came from.

You're acting like you're bummed.

And I don't understand how you could possibly be bummed

when you for sure have a spot in the final five.

Cheer up, buddy.

You get to be viewed as a savage in this game.

You get to walk around with your shirt off

and those massive pecs.

It felt like I was being put on time-out.

And I don't like being treated like a child.

He just got, like, frustrated, and was like,

"I'm not mad, I'm not mad,"

walking around like this the whole time.

- Joe has pissed me off... a bit. - Why?

He, like, gets upset and is, like, moping.

Give me a break.

That really bothered me,

the way that Joe just talked to me.

And he was like, "I'm not saying anything. I'm not..."

But then he's, like...

He's pretending like he's about to vote me out.

Like, that's the vibe I got at the end of that conversation.

He is not going to vote you out, bro.

This is my nightmare.

It's a very meta sort of

inception like experience where I know

that I'm trying to flip on shauhin

and get him out of this game.

And to do so, I have

to talk through all of the options with him.

Like, it makes me want to go after Eva.

Do we vote out Eva, dude?

She's, like, not a threat to win this game,

and she's a guaranteed Joe Stan on the jury.

- So the right play is... - Mitch. -Okay.

If we take out Mitch tonight, we 100% make final four.

This does remind me a little bit of the new vula days

when kamilla and I kind of had to put on a show for everybody.

But the hope is that we pull off this plan to blindside shauhin

and that kamilla and I are rock-solid undercover still.

That's something that I don't want to be revealed

until the very end of this game.

- Nope. - Okay, thank goodness.

Nope. He's... Joe is about to...

Tonight's vote is crucial. It's scary, but, like,

if we can pull this off, it'll be huge.

And I'd rather go out trying to make a massive move

than, like, sit there and be voted out at five.

I think we just vote shauhin and

- flip it on him. - Yeah.

People see Eva and Joe as, like, this big duo in the game,

but they're a duo that's just sitting there.

Like, me and Kyle are this duo that are, like,

working the game hard.

As long as Joe doesn't freak out,

I think things will go according to plan, and

me and Kyle will have a massive move to claim.

It's just, this is all so fresh, and

I need time to kind of put what makes sense together.

Something was cooking behind the scenes.

Is it Kyle, kamilla or shauhin?

that's what I got to try to figure out.

All right, so, at the last tribal council, I asked you

what's gonna be fundamentally different

when you go from seven to six?

And you basically said it's just gonna be a lot more difficult.

Mitch, did you find that to be the case today?

Yeah, Jeff, I really do, and... Why the laughter?

Because, um, I'm trying to remind myself

that this is just a game.

It, like, hasn't

played out exactly how I wanted it to, but, like,

you just hope and pray that it isn't you going home.

Eva, was today more difficult for you in terms

of deciding who you're going to vote out?

I mean, honestly, for me, I really just turned back

to the people that I have built this trust with.

I feel really good about the relationships

I've built, and I did not expect that at all coming out here.

And I thought I'd be taken advantage of

for being too trusting

and for not recognizing people lying to me.

But I've found that the reverse is true,

is that by showing so much trust for other people,

they've kind of returned that trust to me.

So I'm sticking with it.

Kyle, how about for you?

Yeah, I mean, the emotional element

has been consistent throughout this entire game.

I think what's more difficult is,

there's sort of less places to hide.

And, maybe that inserts another element

of, like, paranoia or whatever it may be.

But the fact that we've been so personal,

I think, is what makes it really hard.

So, kamilla, what did you do today to try to make sure

it's not you tonight?

I mean, I went back to the group

that's always been letting me in.

And I was like, "hey, I've been true to you"

"however many votes it's been since the merge.

Keep me around."

And I try not to show, like, the paranoia or panic.

And I feel like I haven't really been chaotic,

been, like, pretty level-headed in my discussions with people.

I've, like, explained, like, my logic

to try and build that trust.

And I'm hoping that I'm writing the right name down tonight.

Shauhin, when you imagine being on survivor,

and you run through all the scenarios,

"I might have this strategy. Maybe I'll look for an idol.

"Maybe I won't," you don't anticipate

this deep emotional connection

that you're gonna make with people that you then have

- to lie to - to vote them out. - Yeah, it's funny

because the rhetoric you used

"before you come out here"... is

"I'm down to cut throats and do this and do that."

And then when you get out here,

the way you talk about survivor has to change.

Because if that was your strategy,

you're just not gonna last very long in this game.

And things can change in an instant.

And that's not something that you can think of at home.

You don't think of the personal connections,

and you don't think how fast things change out here.

Kyle, how much talk is there

about idols and advantages?

And how much concern is there?

- I think it's always out there. - Kind of like

the bogeyman... you don't know when it could pop out,

but it could end your game in a heartbeat.

So I think there's always talk about it.

You obviously don't want to let it

override your brain or think about it too much.

Um, so I'd be, I'd be lying if I say

you don't get a little bit paranoid...

Every time somebody breaks off and has a one-on-one.

You can't let these things that are out there

that you don't know about take advantage.

The scary thing is that your emotions cloud what's going on.

Are emotions blinding us?

And then, you know... People are variables.

There's so many different things that can happen

because, you know, we all have different emotions.

But just got to keep on coming back to trust

and what that is and what that means

for you as you've sort of gotten to this point of the game

with whoever you played with.

Shauhin, you were nodding.

Is it the trust, that you have to go back to trust?

That's all you have?

I was nodding about the paranoia.

No matter what you do

in this game, you're constantly trying

to fight off that paranoia,

and even when you've built a ton of trust.

You've seen it season after season that, you know,

if you weren't paranoid enough, you'd go home.

If you're too paranoid, you go home.

So you're walking that tightrope

between trust and paranoia.

Yeah, walking that fine line between

paranoia and trust, and it's

really tough, especially this late in the game,

with people who are great players.

You just got to come back to the thing

that got you here in the first place,

which is those foundational relationships

that you established.

Joe, did you experience any paranoia today?

I mean, it's...

It's difficult to say that, right, when you have a necklace.

But tomorrow's basically already here.

And you have to think two or three steps ahead.

And then you talk to the people that you trust and go,

"hey, walk me through this.

"This is kind of where my head is starting to go again.

Going to the bogeyman or to the what-ifs.".

And then you kind of just collectively

work on it as a family, really, and go, "okay",

"let's try to cool the waters a little bit.

"Let's think logically about this

and then move forward."
