You will need endurance,
because that hill looks gentle -

Any head will match any body,

but the head pieces are carved
with your names.

I've got cerebral palsy. Do you?

So it wasn't the weight, it was
the grip. Sounded like it was hard.

So I basically just carried it
with one hand.

with cerebral palsy,

which affects my right arm
and right leg.

It has been a struggle growing up,

knowing that I'm not the same
as everybody else.

I would always be constantly looking
in the mirror, like,

trying to see what my arm
looked like or my leg looked like.

But it's something I was born with

and it's never going to go away.

Sometimes, because people
don't realise I've got it,

they assume that there's no issues
or struggles,

but there obviously is,
because my grip is not as good.

In the past, I probably wouldn't
have mentioned it.

I'd just struggle in silence,
whereas now I feel more comfortable

just being like, "This is an issue
I've got, I need some help,"

One of the things that must be
challenging

about a disability
that's not immediately obvious

is that decision

of whether to share that or not.

His story was really personal,

and I feel pleased

that he felt he could share that.

I played for England's cerebral
palsy football team. Really?

So I met other lads with
the same disability as me,

and listening to their stories,

I've kind of become more confident
with it.

Even though my body is weaker
than the average person,

I've always been very vocal
and opinionated. Even if I look

weaker physically,
mentally, I'm so, so strong.

and we haven't even started

So I live at home with just me
and my mum,

and she's a single parent

I've got to pay for it for myself,

during the pandemic,
