with a crazy get-rich-quick scheme

the saddest thing of all is

their hopes raised,

foolishly or not, with all this talk
about a foster home.

Now these kids' hopes have been
dashed to the ground.

to help build that home.

And I'll throw in one week's take
from my saloon.

raised to start that foster home.
