Here's my theory
of what happened.

Early that morning,
Grace uses the window

that she had broken
the day before to gain

access to the house.

She goes upstairs
and, using a ladder,

gains access to
the ceiling cavity.

Using a chisel, she
weakens a ceiling piece.

So the chandelier will
fall when she needs it to.

Back downstairs, she
retrieves the cricket bat

and calls out for her father.

When he appears,
she attacks him.
