- Yeah. It was, like...
- Final seven.

- Congratulations, guys.

We're all there.

But congratulations most to me because

I was the only other
name thrown out there.

Congratulations to Mary.
Everybody, give it up for Mary.

So, tonight

at tribal council, star
went home instead of me.

I'm gonna miss star.

Every time that I form a relationship

with someone and get close
with them, they get voted out.

I appreciate you all, really.

It happened with Stephanie
and it happened with Kevin.

It happened with David
and it happened with star.

And it is really demoralizing.

Yeah.

So, I have to crawl out
from this pit all over again.

But I always fall back on the fact that,

yo, Mary, if you're still here,
you're here for a reason,

so you can't give up.

I'm not really sure what
you guys are planning next.

But if you guys are
planning at some point

to get out Eva and Joe...

My pitch is that it's advantageous

to keep me around while...
While you guys do that.

Because let's say something happens,

and you can't get them both out.

If I'm around, you guys don't

have to get rid of any of each other.

You can get rid of me.

It's better for y'all's game,
and it's better for my game,

- because I'm not going home the next time.

makes a lot of sense to me.

But then it's also like...

So we get back from tribal council,

and then Mary... she's like,

"hey, I have something
I want to pitch to you."

She wants us to keep her around

and immediately get rid of Joe or Eva.

And I was thinking about this plan.

I'm, like, I mean, it
makes sense because,

like, they're a pair,

and they have the
most power in this game.

Yeah.

So, I'm really liking this
plan that Mary pitched.

He's just so good.

Like, he's good at every challenge.

Everybody loves him.

Well, Mitch, I haven't, like,
pitched to you my plan yet,

but I have, to kamilla.

If you did, at one
point, want to get rid of

Joe and Eva, my pitch is
that you guys keep me around

for that, because you
guys could make this move

after getting rid of me tomorrow,

but it would make it trickier

and your lives would be on the line.

You know what I mean?

Because... Yes.

Exactly.

At this point in the game, like,

we all see the writing
on the wall here that.

Joe's been dominating this game, and

we got to do something.

Yeah. Yeah.

I guess that's what you guys want,

but I guess you guys would also want

to vote with Kyle and shauhin.

What if they don't want that, you know?

We're at the final seven,
and time is running out.

So, we need to get
Kyle or shauhin to flip.

Like, we have to make a move soon,

or else Joe is gonna
run away with the season.

That was my longest night, bro.

I mean, you know, Mary's got to go,

Mitch, and we have the numbers.

myself, Kyle, Eva and shauhin

are in a great spot because
we have solidified through

true emotional connection.

- Did you get some sleep last night?
- Yeah, bro.

My thoughts on bringing
all of us as a four to the end

was very simple.

It's exactly what I would
want my kids to do.

You want to pick the toughest opponent.

You want to take that hardest path

because then, if you win in that situation,

you can prove it to yourself
that you really can do anything.

There's really no scenario
where we don't get to the four.

I hear you.

I'm working with Joe, Eva and shauhin.

That's a final four that
we've said pretty concretely.

But I have anxiety every day

about, maybe they have
something a little tighter than I do.

But on top of that, I have to ask myself,

"can I beat Joe at the end?"

So, we're ready to see our families, too.

- Hella, dude.
- Joe is a really strong player,

and... One could say that
Joe has been in control.

- What's going on?
- Good morning.

He's also got a really
strong number one in Eva

who seems to have every
single advantage in this game, so,

these are all things you have to consider.

And when I'm at seven right now

such a crucial point in this game

I have to think, "do I take a shot at Joe?"

Is that move the right idea?

Is this the right time? Is it too early?

These are all considerations
that you have to make

or to at least think about.

What I was thinking was, like,

I know, at some point, like,

if I were in yours and shauhin's position,

it'd be like, "okay, well,
maybe I don't want"

"to sit next to Eva
and Joe at some point."

Yeah.

And I'm thinking, like, if you, Mitch,

shauhin and kamilla,

at one point, wanted to make a move,

like, you guys could use me.

Mary's plan is "use me."

"You know, use me as
a number, get rid of Joe,

and then you can get rid
of me whenever you want."

- I'm just trying to stay another day.
- Yeah. Yeah.

It is very tempting because

this probably is the last chance

that I could have a clean-cut shot at Joe

with the numbers on my
side... I-I totally hear you.

Given that there's seven

and that Mary would definitely
be willing to make a move.

And kamilla and Mitch

would definitely be
willing to do so as well.

I-I hear exactly what you're saying.

I truly am in, like, a
really tough position

because right now, I feel
so emotionally connected

to Joe and Eva, -yeah.

And I know that, reading
the room, I feel as if

Joe probably is the frontrunner right now.

I think there's no doubt
about that. I'm not an idiot.

Yeah.

But, like, I have shared things
and they have shared things

with me... That make
it very difficult for me

to even consider
making a move right now.

And I'm being, like, 100% honest.

Like, I don't think that I'm in a position

to... to make a move

emotionally and
strategically, against them.

Mary doesn't need to know

that I'm thinking about taking out Joe

because I don't know
that I can trust her entirely.

But every minute of
downtime I have in this game,

when I'm not having a conversation,

I'm thinking about this.

Y'all are pissing me off.

I don't want to share food with you

Y'all are talking about me.

I'm pissed because, like,
I pitched an amazing idea

to Kyle, but he basically tells
me that he's at a crossroads.

He's not sure which way he's gonna go,

which to me, sounds
like a no to my pitch.

So, I get it now, where
people go out in flames,

because they realize that
there is, like, no chance.

And, like, for me, right
now, that's how I feel.

Pissing... Me... Off.

So, this morning, I had a machete

and a coconut, and I was like,

"yeah, let me get out some of my anger."

And, yeah, I don't even
want to eat coconut anymore,

but y'all are pissing me off.

Yeah.

We probably should have
saved it. We just had one.

Sorry. It's been, like, eight days

since I've eaten anything.

That's what I'm worried about.

We're not gonna have any
food for the rest of the time.

I guess we can hopefully use it for...

Well, we're gonna
have a reward, and then,

people are gonna pick
each other for the reward.

Like, you're getting picked for the reward,

other people are getting

I'm not gonna get picked for the reward.

So, I'm like... "I should
eat something, you know?"

We have very limited number
of coconuts left, and Mary

has been just chopping
'em open left and right

and eating them all for herself.

Have, like, no green
coconuts left on this island.

She clearly is just being spiteful

and knows she's going home,

and so is trying to screw us all over.

- Yeah, I was listening.
- I was like,

"I think that might be our last one."

She's like, "nobody's taking
me on reward, I need to eat."

"They're gonna go on a reward.

Anyone else is going
on a reward, but not me."

Mary decides,

"I'm gonna go crack
open another coconut."

She obviously knows

she's on the bottom, she's
told me she wants to flip it

on Joe and Eva.

And she's probably eaten the most food

- by far.
- In this game.

But no one's gonna want
to work with someone

or keep someone around
who's eating all their food.

Like, it's 100% hurting her game.

No one's gonna want
to keep around a person

who doesn't know
proper coconut etiquette.

My path to the end is

try and get Joe out at
the next tribal council.

And,

apparently, Mary's already
pitched this idea to Kyle,

and Kyle is considering it.

I'm-I'm thinking about it.

- Yeah?
- I'm think

I'm-I'm truly putting
a lot of thought into it.

Yeah, I know.

Me and Kyle have spent
the entire game together,

like, all 20 days

with no one knowing that
we're working together.

We are number ones, but no one sees it.

Sorry, I've been so wishy-washy.

I know it's probably
incredibly frustrating for you.

So, I appreciate you.

Yeah.

I have successfully played
the middle of this game,

and I've made

competing commitments
to people that are real.

And

I just feel like I'm in between
a rock and a hard place.

The reason I've been so
hesitant, too, is because

if I burn them, I don't
know if I get their vote.

Yeah.

On one side, you have
Joe, Eva and shauhin,

who have put their
unequivocal trust in me.

We've shared things so
intimate about ourselves that

to betray them is to
betray those conversations

that you've had.

But then on the other
side, I have kamilla,

who I've been with from the
very beginning of this game.

Every time I get to
talk to kamilla, I feel like

I can take a breath of fresh air.

Like, I'm talking to the one person

who I'm really, really being real with.

- I know.
- Amazing.

Yeah. I can't believe we did this.

I don't want to betray
her, either, and, so,

it is really, really hard.

No matter what happens,

I know at the end of the
day, we played a good game.

- Yeah.
- I'm, like, proud of our game.

I didn't think I'd be proud
of anything at this point,

but, like... At this
point, my hands are tied.

There's no moral escape for me.

At one point in this game,

whether it's this vote or the next,

I will either be betraying kamilla

or I'll be betraying Joe
and Eva and shauhin.

In real life, I'm a problem solver.

I always can find the path

to get to where I need to go.

And probably for one of
the first times in my life,

if not the first time, with
the biggest stakes in my life,

every single path harms someone.

And... I just can't.

I can't... I

I don't want... I don't
want to hurt people,

even if it's at my...

Even if it's for the benefit of my family.

If you'd have asked me
that I was making it to day 20,

a week before I came out
here, I would have said yes.

Foolish.

Like, so crazy to think about, like,

that version of myself
versus this version of myself.

Knowing what I know now,

if I could, like, talk to that person,

this game is so much harder

than that person would
have possibly thought.

Study it all you want, but I had no clue

what it actually means to be out here.

No clue what it actually means to make

friendships, real tight friendships

with people that you've never met before.

No clue what it takes to
then vote those people out.

What type of grit and determination

and how much it might hurt.

Heavy day for me, lots
of decisions going on, and,

I figured, you know, I
haven't had a chance

to go out and snorkel yet.

I've actually never
snorkeled before in my life.

But shauhin and I had
planned to go fishing,

and, Mitch decided to come along, too.

So it was a great day
for the boys to go fishing.

Felt like I needed

to just sort of calm
things down a little bit,

like, take advantage of the island.

And when you're just floating there,

you don't really think about anything.

And then... pow... caught my first fish.

It was awesome.

It's frustrating because I
know I'm on the bottom.

But being out here

and getting to share this
experience with the boys

truly is something I
will look back on forever.

There's a boat!

No way! What?!

There's a boat!

I'm taking a nap and I, like,

literally sprint out of the hammock,

come running down.

Dude, I was asleep!

And we're like, "my god.

A journey is about to happen."

But the thing is, we've discovered

if you go on a journey, you
could possibly lose your vote.

But you also get the
opportunity to gain an advantage.

So that's something that
is very scary, because

I hold a lot of power in this game

and a boat pulling up potentially

gives somebody that's not in my alliance

the opportunity to gain power.

- Okay, is everybody ready?
- Ready.

"One person must get
on this boat for a journey.

"If you cannot agree,

"whoever draws the purple
rock will get on the boat.

You will return to camp this afternoon."

Anybody, like, really want to go?

Anyone like, "yeah, I really want to go"?

I really want to go.

Yeah, I'd go.

- I'd go.
- I'd-I'd go.

- I'd go, too.
- I'd go.

So it looks like we're doing rocks.

- Let's do rocks.
- Yeah.

I really need this.

I don't even really care
about losing my vote.

It's not like anybody's
gonna vote with me.

Like, I just want an advantage, I want

something that can help me out.

Who gonna get the rock?

I know that everyone is
gonna be voting for me.

Pretty much, unless a miracle happens,

my life is on the line

in a way that it's never been before.

- You're gonna go?

I'm the last one to pick,

and boom... I'm the one
holding the purple rock.

Yup.

I feel so pumped because,

yeah, I might lose my vote, but I have

two advantages, so I
know I'm safe regardless.

That works out so perfect.

But the thing is, in a tribe of seven,

when I'm in that majority
alliance with four people,

we can run the game. But if

I lose my vote, then it's three and three,

and anything could happen.

I'm so pumped to go on the journey.

It's so cool to get to be
out in the open water.

I'm so excited to see what
the journey has in store.

"A game awaits inside the jungle.

Good luck."

Okay.

Boy.

Okay.

"You must race to stack tiles in a circle

"while standing on a balance beam,

"using only your foot" to spin the disc.

"Complete four levels,"
and your vote remains safe.

"Complete eight levels,

and earn the knowledge
is power advantage."

Okay.

I'd lost my vote, so,

I desperately need to
make sure that I have a vote

for the next tribal.

And this challenge is standing in my way.

So, I'm locked in.

All right, let's do this thing.

This is wild.

Knowledge is power
is very scary because

everybody knows that I have an idol

and a safety without power.

At tribal council, someone could ask me,

"do you have an idol?"

And I would have to give it to them.

So, it's extremely lucky that I got sent

on this journey and nobody else did.

I'm stacking and spinning, and

I know it's just gonna
get harder as I go up.

And so, that's-that's difficult. But

as long as I don't knock it over, I'm set.

Okay.

As I'm getting higher, stacking on

now slightly wobbly tiles,

I'm struggling, but I have the ability

to be fixated on a goal.

I have this mindset of not giving up

and getting so focused on something.

I get to that

level four, and I'm like,
"yup, got my vote back."

Do I keep going?

I have a lot of power,

and the idea of having even more power

is very nice, so I don't want to quit now.

Maybe I should go for that eight.

Maybe I could do it.

But the thing is, if the tiles fall down

while I try to go higher
than that level four,

I'm going to lose my vote.

Do I go for that knowledge is power

so that I can be the most
powerful player in the game?

Or do I stick with my vote,

knowing that I can help my alliance?

I'm so competitive, but I know

it's just gonna get
harder as I go up, and so,

for my team, I need to stop being stupid

and not be greedy to go
after the knowledge is power

and just let it be.

I have a strong team of people

that I can go forward in this game with.

I care more about my team

than I do about myself in this moment.

And so, I'm gonna keep my vote so that

me and the three boys that I trust

with my entire life in
this game can make it

to the final four together.

- Boat?
- She's back.

Coming back to camp,

I knew I was gonna tell the truth.

I knew that I had nothing to hide.

I didn't gain anything.

And, hopefully, they believe me because

it is the truth. They have
no reason to doubt me.

I've always told the truth.

So, that was the dumbest
journey for me to have gone on.

- Why?
- So,

obviously, first, you show
up, you lose your vote.

You have to earn it back.

And guess what the
advantage is that you can win?

- Knowledge is power.
- Yeah?

And I was like,

- "you guys all want that ..."
- Yeah, exactly.

I have pow... I've...

Like, everyone knows I have an idol, so,

I finished, and I was like,

"that's it. I just need my vote."

Eva steps foot on the sand

and just blasts out
everything that happened.

She's just honest as can be.

And basically tells the
group, "I'm glad it was me"

"because you guys
would try to screw me over.

"If you would have went,
you would have taken that

and taken my idol,
so I'm glad it was me."

And it's like, "she's right."

So, I mean, good for
her. She laid it out there.

I don't think there was any questions.

I'm like, "the risk is so stupid.

It's like, all I'm gonna do is be greedy."

- Yeah.
- Like, I don't need that.

Like, when am I gonna
stand up and be like,

"I'd like to play this on myself"?

Eva comes back

from the journey, and it's basically like,

"yup, y'all might've
needed it, but I don't,

because I'm the one who has the idol."

Sorry, man. I know you
definitely wanted that one.

That's okay.

- Luck of the draw.
- Yeah.

And so, I'm kind of just,
like, "well, I'm blown."

'Cause, like, this was

everyone minus Joe or Eva's opportunity

to get an advantage
and to shake up the game.

And so, I'm gonna continue to appeal

to people's common
sense by showing them why

what's best for my
game is also what's best

for their game, because

I have to keep fighting for myself.

- I made a pitch to kamilla last night.

And she was like, "yeah,
that sounds like a good idea."

But... and I made the same pitch to Kyle,

and he was like, "I
don't know about that."

- So, I'll make the pitch to you.
- Okay.

Are you thinking about flipping

on Joe and Eva or are you not?

The problem right now is...
That they have advantages

that prevent them from going out.

- But that's not true.
- Unless you're blindsiding.

Exactly. Right.

And they would totally be blindsided

if you guys still kept me around.

So, Mary was basically
pitching Joe and Eva, but

we've been working
together from day one.

The problem is is that I know

Joe is the number one
threat to win this game.

And everyone's kind of

enamored with the big
smile and the fireman

and the big personality and the story, but

I think I've played a better game.

Who doesn't want to make a big move?

Like, who doesn't want to upset things?

Like, and I feel like that
would garner respect.

We're not playing with
a bunch of dummies.

People are like, "I
want you to prove to me"

that you outwitted,
outplayed," not just outloyaled.

Yeah, there is no "outloyaled."

There's no out loyal... There's no... no.

At this point, I can choose
whatever path I want.

A path with Mary, where I get rid of

the biggest perceived threat
in the game, which is Joe.

And I have that power because

I have the relationships with everybody.

I didn't close the door on anybody.

Like, kamilla listens to you.

And then Mitch listens to kamilla.

Like... There's a move
to be made there, so...

There's a move to be
made. Like, why don't...

- But let's just not...
- Do something?

- So, stay patient. You know what I mean?

Obviously, the vote going
with Mary is an easy one.

So I could get rid of
Mary and go with the flow

or I could upset the status
quo, exercise that power,

feel what it feels like to
be in complete and 100%

driver's seat in this game.

But that's the scariest place to be.

For today's challenge, you're gonna push

a survivor wheelbarrow
over a series of obstacles

while balancing a vase containing a key.

Along the way, you're gonna add

a second vase and
cross more obstacles.

When you get to the
finish, you'll use those keys

to unlock the pieces to an arch puzzle.

First person to finish it wins immunity,

guaranteed a spot in the final six.

- Yes.
- In addition, you're playing for reward.

Here comes Mary now
in the second phase.

It's gonna get a little more difficult

when you add a second vase.

front wheel to hit the mat.

and a new set of obstacles.

Now you're gonna see
the difficulty increase a lot

with that second vase.

This is about nuance, finesse, touch.

Shauhin's over that first hump.

It's now shauhin in the lead.

Kyle's through. Kyle
can get his second vase.

Now it's just Mary still
back in that last section.

Everybody now chasing shauhin.

Being very close to being to the
puzzle phase of this challenge.

He's got to get over that little beam.

Shauhin has navigated it.
Get to the mat, and you're good.

Shauhin is good. You've got two keys.

One of them will open
those puzzle pieces.

Mary can add her second vase now.

She can start working on the puzzle.

That's the tricky part.

It might look right on your side

and be an absolute mess on the other,

but Mitch and kamilla think
they're on the right track.

and all the pieces have
to match on the color.

someone who's, like, barely five, one,

all fat, no muscle.

So, like, I had to prepare hard for this,

So, like... It doesn't feel real, but

I didn't think it would ever happen.

So not only are you safe in this game,

you've got a spot in the final six.

a nice reward back at camp,

a lot of food.

So the person I'm gonna
pick has probably eaten,

like, maybe the least
out of everyone here.

Frustrating challenge, and on top of it,

you're going back to
camp, you don't have rice,

I'm really proud of kamilla.

Like, I really am,

and I know that she really... Wanted this,

but not the first time that I've felt

like I've been on the bottom.

And it just sucks because,
like, you think, like,

if you did it once, if you
got out of the bottom once,

you can get out from

You'd think it would hurt

After not eating anything for, like,

it truly means so much.

And it's crazy how excited
you are to just see food.

When Jeff says you can
pick someone, I'm like, ""

I have never really
given this much thought,

because I never thought
I'd win individual immunity.

And so, immediately, I'm like,

"okay, yeah. Mitch hasn't eaten."

And then Jeff tells me I
can pick another person.

And this is where I'm like, "damn."

I want to pick Kyle, but I
don't want people to know

that me and Kyle are
working closely together.

Instead, I'm like, "okay."

"If I want to make a
move on Joe and Eva,

I need to keep them comfortable."

Joe... he's already a beast at challenges,

and I don't want to fuel him.

So it makes sense to pick Eva.

That's really good.

- Kamilla, thank you so much.

At the reward, we
mostly talked about food.

And it felt great to
just be able to sit there

and not have to stress
about what was going on,

because we know that,
tonight, we're all voting Mary.

This was, like, the one day
she needed to win. So happy.

Maybe if she wasn't eating

all the coconut and stuff -yeah.

Maybe I would've taken her,

'cause I'm like, "it's
your last day, you know?"

Exactly.

So we all agree,

there's no point in keeping Mary around.

She's causing too much

chaos. We're getting her out tonight.

This is exactly what I want Eva to think.

is that I've been talking to Mary and Kyle

But... I cannot win a
challenge to save my life.

I've been in the lead
the past two challenges

and had a commanding lead. So this is

a brutal experience for me.

And the vibe at camp
is like you're at a funeral.

Nobody wants to talk to the dead person,

'cause if you talk to the dead person,

then you might be catching

whatever disease it is that
they got that killed them.

Because I don't think it's locked

that it's going to be Mary.

It's pretty apparent to me that, like,

they want me gone tonight.

But I'm someone who
is incredibly resilient.

And, like, I'm not gonna give up.

And if it looks like I am,

it's just because that's
part of my strategy.

What do you think it could be?

You think there'd be anything
else in play that she could get?

bit of fear that something

to weigh more heavily on me.

It's time to really think about how I can

move forward in this game.

I've been, like, running
through this stuff in my head

We were all like, "who's
the lawyer on this season?"

Yeah, I did teach for, like,
three year... a few years.

He's a great liar. But, honestly,

I don't care. I like Kyle so much.

I want one of us sitting at final three.

We are truly number ones.

I only want

one of us walking away
with a million dollars.

One of us needs to be in final three.

Kamilla has proven time and
time again that she's with me,

and getting that secret off my chest

gives me a clear head.

I rode the middle of this game,

and I've waited to make a choice:

Joe and Eva or kamilla.

But it's clear that
kamilla's my number one.

Kamilla and I will be working together

to the end of this game.

We both have sort of

come to the conclusion
that we want one of us

to at least be sitting at the final three.

So what do you think we do?

Joe is definitely the biggest threat.

Yeah.

If we-if we made a move today, right,

on-on... Let's say it was on Joe.

- Yeah.

This is where it gets
scary. Sending home Joe

means we keep Mary
around for another day.

I don't trust Mary at all,

but both me and Kyle know
we're gonna turn on Joe.

It's just been a matter of when.

At this point, it's just
my life on the line tonight.

But I still have one
more trick up my sleeve.

I'm gonna pull a little
bit of Russell hantz,

a little bit of villain.

I'm gonna cause chaos.

Joe... I'm gonna write

but a little unsettled

because the plan is to vote out Mary.

However, Mary is very smart,

and a really advanced player

would do that if they had an idol.

If she throws my name

and all of us go on Mary, I'd go home.

So the only thing that made
sense was to throw a vote

on someone else.

Can you believe that

My fear is... I know this seems ludicrous

but if she has, let's say an idol,

I'm a thousand percent going home.

But she doesn't, Joe.

Everybody is saying,

Nobody really had empathy
with me in the moment,

but I don't think Kyle or
Mitch would have been

as calm if they were in my spot.

Mary doesn't have anything.

If I was

in your position, I would
probably just write down Mary.

It's hilarious to me
'cause everyone's so sure.

Look, man, I get it. I've been there.

I've known that someone's
gonna write my name down before.

And it's, like, it sucks.

But if we spook someone
by writing their name down,

they are now incentivized
to write your name down.

I don't see why anyone, me
writing your name down, any

I don't know why it would matter.

- Welcome to survivor, man.
- I had my name

written down twice, and
there was no guarantee

that I wasn't gonna
go home those nights.

I hear you.

It is what it is, my man.

If Joe writes down Mitch
or kamilla or whoever,

that person's gonna be upset.

You're showing them that they're next.

And now it's pretty simple
for Mitch to go to kamilla

and say, "hey, this is our opportunity.

All we have to do is tell Kyle."

And if they write down Joe's name,

they can get Joe out.

Joe's starting to freak
out because he feels like

he's the biggest threat in the game,

and now he doesn't have immunity.

So it's, like,

that part of the game
where... starts to go down..

This tribal just got so much

more complicated than it needed to

because Joe got paranoid.

It's like, "hey, man, do what I did."

Twice. Twice, I had people
writing down my name,

and I acted cool as a cucumber.

Mr. I've worn an immunity
necklace three times,

and now you're freaking
out because one person's

gonna write your name down?

What that type of paranoia tells me

is that he's willing to flip.

He might be willing to write

my name down at
the end of the day, so...

Should I write down Joe?

I'm trying to make the
right decision tonight.

Making a move against Joe could maybe

push me to the
front-runner of this game.

And if I were to flip,

Joe throwing a hanky
vote would be a perfect

opportunity for me to sort of
put the nail in the coffin here.

Because that might get me
the numbers to vote him out.

But I just don't know if
I can betray that trust.

So it's really hard to figure
out whether this is the time

to make the big move.

Now bring in the members of our jury.

All right.

So, one of the things
you have to contend with

in a season of survivor,

are the days when there is no challenge,

and you're left with time to think.

And I'm guessing that a lot of that time

is spent thinking about back home.

Kyle, when you think about home,

does it connect to the sacrifices

that you made to get out here?

Yeah, I mean, a sacrifice
spending time with my fiancée.

You know, we're getting
married in a month and a half

after this is all over, but,

you know, she's back home doing things

that I can't help her with.

But, you know, when I was
coming out here, my family was like,

"this is worth it."

Like, "you know, we support
you, we want you to do this."

So you can take it as
something to be sad about

or you can use it as motivation.

Joe, you've talked a lot
about your personal life.

What did you sacrifice to come out here?

Jeff, honestly, you know,

it's just being present,
time with my kids, you know?

As others know, with my job,

I put my life on the line
for people I have never met.

And when you're home,

you recognize that you
don't get a lot of moments.

And so time is the most precious thing

that you can give up with little ones

because you never get
those moments back,

and you never know what
tomorrow's gonna bring.

Mary, has the reason
you're out here, your "why,"

has it evolved?

My "why" hasn't evolved.

It's always been for my mom.

A lot of fears have consumed her.

Having immigrated to this country

and having taken on the
burden for our entire family,

she's not the person that she once was.

And I've always hoped
that, if I could win the money,

that'll give her a sense of comfort,

then maybe I could get a glimpse

of the woman that my mom used to be,

that I didn't get to have growing up.

And that's never changed.

Kamilla, pretty powerful "why" from Mary.

You had a pretty powerful moment

after winning today's challenge,

surrounding, I'm guessing,
part of your "why"?

Yeah.

Like Mary, I'm out here for my parents.

They completely sacrificed
their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s

to provide for me and my brother.

Like, they both worked factory jobs,

12-hour shifts, overnight shifts, overtime.

So I want to be able to, like,
take this money back to them

and be like, "now you guys

can enjoy your life.
Like, just stop grinding."

Shauhin, you were
nodding a lot. What was

- connecting?
- It's the same story.

You know, my parents, like-like Mary's,

like, escaped a country

and went from having
everything to having nothing

and going from

a lifestyle that was
normal and cool and fine

and then, all of a sudden,
a revolution happens,

and they had to deal with things

that none of us could
ever even comprehend.

And yet, when you're a kid,

you don't recognize the sacrifice.

You get mad at them
for stupid things like

not speaking the language well.

Yeah, man, we want to
provide for our parents.

Every single one of us
has a "why" to be out here

that's bigger than us.

And yet only one of us

can take home the-the
million-dollar prize.

- Yeah.
- We know that.

But it sucks. It's the
worst part of the game.

Mitch, shauhin's answer
is a great example

of why this game's so complicated.

Everybody's driven by
their own agenda right now.

"What is good for my game?"

Can you feel that now
in the conversations?

Are they shifting?

On thousand percent.

Yes, I love these people, but

you got to do what's best for you.

Eva, how have you
noticed the game shifting

from an "us" to a "me"?

My game has not shifted to a "me."

I still see an "us."

And so the conversations I'm having are,

"what can I do to help us?"

Because I see that there's
no way for me to get to the end

without using other people that I trust.

How about for you, kamilla?

I think there is a bit of how
do we get our core group

further and further and further?

You know, that's what
Eva's talking about.

And then there's some
of us who might not be

in the core group, and
so we have to think, like,

what makes sense for us, individually?

And, Joe, that's the dangerous part.

Not everybody's in the group,

as evidenced by a growing jury.

And if somebody senses
that, a move will be made.

Yeah, Jeff, even though
this is an individual game,

I couldn't agree more
with what Eva's saying

in terms of team element
and sticking to that,

because any winner
that's come before us

and those that will come after us

none of them did it alone.

I think the question is

how early or how fast did
they break those relationships?

And I think that,

with the right group and the right mixture,

you can take that farther than
most would think you could.

So now we're talking about timing, Kyle.

- When's the right time?
- Yeah.

Everything in survivor is about timing.

You know, you see players
who make big moves all the time

and they're booted out right after that.

You see some players who,
like, never makes a move

and, regrets it for
the rest of their lives.

So, Mary, what was
the vibe this afternoon

as you were getting closer to come here

to vote somebody out?

I think the vibe for
everybody else was pretty chill.

The vibe for me when I first came back

was a little bit panicked.

I was trying to see
who might be amenable

to a conversation with me.

As time went on, I saw that nobody was.

If certain people who you've
pitched your case to before

just placate you and
say, "yeah, yeah, yeah,

that sounds like a good idea,"

but then there's no follow-through,

why would I pitch my
case to them again, right?

- Shauhin.
- Yeah.

I mean, look, this is survivor.

We know that, like,
sometimes when people

are in this position, they survive.

And, Jeff, I understand
where Mary's coming from,

because based off of
the conversations she has,

that's her perception, that's her reality.

And she doesn't know if
there's another plan going on

because maybe those conversations

aren't, like, including her.

Joe, kamilla's making the point

that perception isn't always reality,

in terms of what's happening
at camp before tribal

because you can't
always be transparent.

There might be a plan in place.

That's where the uncertainty lies.

Jeff, I don't think anyone
ever really feels safe.

I mean, I truly believe that.

I don't think that there's moments

where we all sit back
and just say, "I got this,"

but there are a couple people,

you know, in a group that it's like, "hey.

I'm gonna trust what they say."

So you can dive into the paranoia

or what your perception is, which is real,

or you can dive into that trust.

Shauhin, why is tonight's vote significant

from the standpoint of how
it will be different tomorrow:

Seven versus six?

When you have seven,
whipping four up against three

is a lot easier than whipping
three up against three.

But your perception of
where you're at in the game

is what's going to determine
when you make that move.

And, at least for me, I
need to play the game

in a way that makes me
proud of what I've done

and puts me in the best position to win

from what I believe makes
the best winner of this game.
