and he got stuck over there for years.

By the time he got back,
the whole world had changed.

you were a fugitive overseas,

every witness against you
has either died or disappeared.

And more recently, last week,

a witness under the protective
custody of this court died

after drinking a cup of coffee

with enough arsenic to kill eight horses.
