Hello friends! Thank you everyone for coming to Slow Vietnamese channel.

I'm Thuy and today is the first day of Tet.

Tet is the new year in Vietnam. In Vietnam, people celebrate Tet more.

Normally I don't have much free time. I don't make many videos these days.

But anyway, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in the past.

And in the new year, I also wish everyone good health, joy and more, happiness.

And everything goes as expected.

The meaning of all things is that everything people wish for can come true.

That is, as you wish means as you think, as you wish.

Okay, today's podcast episode I will talk about my daily activities.

Through this, everyone can understand why I usually rarely record videos or rarely do podcasts.

Okay, let's get started.

First thing in the morning. In the morning I woke up.

Sometimes I wake up at 4 am.

In the past, I used to wake up at 4 am and exercise until 6 am.

But lately I've had a lot of work at home.

Many things to do at home.

Lots of housework.

So I usually go to bed late so I can't wake up early at 4 am.

I usually wake up at 5:00 or 5:30 in the morning. When I wake up, I brush my teeth, brush my teeth, and wash my face.

After that, the first thing I have to do is.

I think for all those cat owners, the first thing is definitely to feed the cats and dogs.

I take care of the cat, and my husband takes care of the dog.

That's why the first thing I do in the morning is feed the cat.

I usually feed my cat from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Feeding the cat takes about 30 minutes.

Because the food I give my cat is freeze-dried, freeze-dried food is like food that people dry at very cold temperatures like minus 39 degrees or minus 35 minus 40 degrees Celsius.

It's not pate or it's not seeds, I don't let cats eat seeds.

Therefore, each time feeding a cat takes about 30 minutes.

Because I have to feed a cat.

That cat friend of mine is also a bit old.

That's why you eat very little.

So I have to watch, I have to feed the cat and then I see, well, how much did this cat eat today?

That's it, that cat has finished eating.

That's it, then I'll feed the other cats.

Because if I feed all the cats at the same time, all the cats will compete.

Fighting like it wants, this one wants, to eat another's food.

And other children also want to eat other children's food.

So normally I have 6 cats now.

So each time you feed your cat, it takes about 30 minutes.

That's it, after feeding the cat, I usually start working in the morning.

I started my first class at 7 am.

Some days I have class at 6:30 a.m.

But normally it's 7am.

When I finish feeding the cat, I have about 15 or 20 minutes.

Before starting the first class, I looked through the messages a bit.

For example, my mother texted me to see how she was and if she said anything.

For example, is that day a special day?

I'll text my mom or see if someone in my family or friends texted me.

Then at 7 o'clock the first class begins.

Normal breakfast in Vietnam people usually say from 2 am or 3 am to 10 am.

If it's 11 o'clock or 12 o'clock, I say it's 11 or 12 noon.

I usually work for breakfast, I open my hours from 7am to 12pm.

Sometimes in the morning I have 5 classes.

But this is the day I forgot I didn't schedule it.

Normally in the morning I only want to have about 3 or 4 classes.

Each of my classes is about 30 minutes or 60 minutes.

Sometimes when I have time between classes I can go drink tea.

It's not about drinking tea, it's about making this tea.

Go make tea, then sit down to drink tea or eat nuts or something quick.

If there is a day when I have about 2 hours between 2 morning classes, I can make breakfast.

But normally I don't make breakfast.

I just eat junk.

Eating miscellaneous means eating little things, eating things that cannot make you feel full.

For example, eating candy is also eating junk food.

Eating snacks is also eating junk.

Then at noon, I finish work at 12 o'clock.

Some days there are classes, and work is done by 12 noon.

After work, there's something I can't help but do at noon.

That's taking a nap.

Because normally I only sleep about 6 hours at night.

So at noon I have to take a nap.

Although normally I only sleep for about 20 minutes or 30 minutes.

But after I take a nap, I feel very healthy.

If I don't take a nap, then in the afternoon I start working at 1:30 or 2:00 pm.

If I don't take a nap, I'm sure I'll be very sleepy in class at 2pm.

That's why I always have to take a nap.

Of course, at noon I have to cook.

My husband and I cook separately.

I like to eat Vietnamese food, so I cook Vietnamese food.

As for my husband, he likes to eat a diet that has enough protein and enough protein.

Vietnamese food usually has oil and sugar, so my husband doesn't like it.

So my husband often makes Mexican food, eats beans like chickpeas, black beans, something like that, tofu, things like that.

Usually, I cook separately and my husband cooks separately.

But it's always two people who have 30 minutes to sit and eat lunch together.

My husband and I sat down to have lunch, then ate and watched TV.

Well, not watching TV, but watching something, watching Netflix or watching YouTube.

Recently, I signed up for Netflix, but I probably only signed up for 1-2 months and then canceled it because there were too many things and it took a lot of time to watch.

Then after lunch, I also want to spend time giving the cat medicine.

It's not a medicine either, it's like... I often say it's a tonic.

Supplements are like these vitamins, or these digestive enzymes, or these respiratory supplements.

Because I picked up my cats on the street when they were still babies, but they didn't have a mother, they were too small.

So when it grows up, it will not be healthy, its body will not develop as well as the kittens whose mother it had until it was 2 months old.

I have a few cats that I picked up when they were 1 month old, something like that.

It also takes me about 30 minutes or 1 hour to give my cat medicine every day.

In the afternoon in Vietnam, I usually say 2pm to 6pm.

No, maybe 2pm to 5pm, that would be around afternoon.

As for evening, it starts from 6pm to 10pm.

Then, in the afternoon, I usually just work, for example, if I have a class, I only teach Vietnamese.

Some days there is an afternoon, some days there is no class in the afternoon so I usually do things at home.

For example, if I have to buy things, buy these things online, because I live in Hoi An,

the first thing is that the things in Hoi An are more expensive than usual.

Hoi An is a small city, so there are a lot of things that people have to send to Da Nang,

then from Da Nang they send them to Hoi An, the shipping fee is higher.

That's why things in Hoi An are usually more expensive.

But to be honest, I don't want to spend a lot of time going out,

going to stores, then going in there and seeing a lot of things and wasting a lot of time because of that.

So I often buy things online.

If there is no class, I often see, for example, what I have to order on the internet today, online.

Buying online, or for example, sometimes especially on sale days, sale days are discount days.

I don't like those types of things, but that's because they're on sale these days,

so sometimes I just have to see, oh, if something in my house is about to run out, I have to choose and then buy it.

And on those days, I have to see, how can I use the discount code, and how much can I save?

In general, on sale days I feel a bit tired.

Sometimes when I look back, it takes me 2 hours to sit and buy things, so I find it a waste.

Oh, sometimes I also spend some time buying things for my parents.

Actually, it's not a little bit, it also takes a lot of time.

My parents are now in a small city near Da Lat.

It's just my parents, so sometimes I have to ask them if they're missing anything or if they need to buy anything.

I also ordered it for my parents. These are things that are given to vegetarians because my parents are also vegetarians.

So I also buy things that are a bit difficult to buy in small cities in Vietnam like this beach.

Because we have to eat ocean currents to get enough omega 3, right? There.

Then there are some items, for example, some types of vegetarian food, but the quality is a bit good.

Like this vegetarian seasoning, this soy sauce or this fish sauce. Well, that's the kind of food that's delicious, and that's good.

Normally, in small cities that don't have it, I have to buy it online and send it home to my parents. There.

Meanwhile, many times I think ah, I don't have this class this afternoon, maybe I'll do a podcast or I want to make a video.

But then something happened. For example, something is wrong with the microphone, or I forgot to charge the camera, or someone needs something.

Done, in the end there is not enough time to make podcasts or videos. Honestly, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about making videos or podcasts.

But just because of this, it sounds like that kind of justification. But to be honest, there isn't a day that I don't think, ah, today I will have time right now I want to make a video, I want to make this podcast.

But because it's always a lot going on. That's why I'm off today because, I have three days off because of Tet.

That's why my husband is also working today, so I took advantage of the time to do this podcast. There.

Okay, so it's afternoon. In the afternoon, I work until 5 o'clock. There. At 5 o'clock I start, at 5 pm I start cooking. I make dinner. There.

Then I make dinner in maybe 20 minutes or 30 minutes. There. Then I have dinner. Then if there is class at 6 o'clock every day, then in the evening I start working from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at night.

For dinner, I'm only open for 2 hours. There. Because to be honest, I wake up early in the morning, and in the afternoon I only sleep 30 minutes, so it's usually after 8pm that my head hits.

It cannot think of anything anymore. Many times, there are many times when my students have something to do so I have to wake up at 8 pm and I feel like, well my head feels like I'm talking reflexively.

But it's not really like I think carefully before I say anything. That's why I close the class at 8pm or 9pm. There. Then I'll be done by 8pm.

Well, in the evening, when I finish work at 8 o'clock, when I finish the last class, I usually, for example, complete the files and send them to this student. There. Done, clean up this house.

Cleaning up is as simple as washing the dishes and feeding the cat. There. Or give the cat medicine. There. Just things like that. But maybe since the day I tried to talk in that slow way, my personality has become much slower.

Whether it's dinner or during the day, it's the same. It's very slow. So sometimes when I try, I say, well, I have to finish before 9 o'clock. Then at 9 o'clock I can sit with my husband, drink tea and watch movies. There. It's good to watch something.

But my computer is so slow now that sometimes it takes nearly 10 hours to finish. By 10 o'clock, I was ready to go to bed. Don't watch anything anymore.

or don't drink tea, don't do anything else. Normally, I finish all my work by 10 pm. There are days when there are too many things, for example, if the dog or cat is sick and what do I have to do for it?

Or do I have to read more about medicines or functional foods for dogs and cats and all that? Then it will probably be about 10:30 or 11 o'clock before I finish.

But normally, recently I usually go to bed at 10:30. There. Of course, before going to bed, right, I also have to brush my teeth at night. There. Then I just went to sleep, is there anything else?

Brush your teeth. Take a shower. Normally I shower during the day but I rarely shower at night. Because in Vietnam, my mother always says that bathing at night makes you sick easily, so I rarely bathe at night. I usually shower during the day.

There. Then, every day when I have time, I sit and drink tea and watch movies. No time, that's it. Buying and selling something again. Buy something online or read more about some dog or cat health issue.

Then what? Oh, then brush your teeth and go to bed. Just that. Then the night starts from 11pm until 2pm, people say it is night. At night, I just go to sleep and don't do anything else.

Sometimes when neighbors do karaoke until 10pm or 11pm, they can't go to bed early and have to watch something or listen to books. Oh, I mistakenly heard the audiobook.

Recently, I also listened to the Harry Potter audiobook series. Normally, after listening for about 5-10 minutes, I immediately fall asleep. There. It's also easy to sleep. There. Just that.

In short, those are all the normal activities of a normal day. There. There are also days when it is not normal, for example, there are days when you are sick or on holidays or when your dog or cat is sick.

Or if something happens, of course it's different. There. Just that. In the next part, I will repeat this podcast in a slower voice so that beginners can keep up.

If you want, you can also listen to the following part which I reread. Now I will rewrite the content and then I will read it again. Read more slowly so that people who are just learning Vietnamese can listen. They hear the pronunciation so their ears get used to the Vietnamese pronunciation. There.

Of course I re-read it so it sounds a bit robotic. Already. Just that. Thank you everyone for listening to this podcast. And I hope that in the future I can do podcasts more often because I think making videos is a bit difficult for me right now.

Because making a video usually takes about 20 hours. I think if I want to have more regular content for that SlowVietnamese channel, I should make a podcast so it can be more frequent. Every once in a while I make a video and it's not very good. Just that. Thank you everyone for always supporting me and goodbye

Hello everyone. Now I will summarize my day's activities.

First thing in the morning. In the morning, I usually wake up at 5:00 or 5:30. Then I brush my teeth, wash my face and feed the cat.

Because I have many cats, I usually spend about 30 minutes or 40 minutes feeding the cats. After that, I usually start work at 7 am.

At 7 a.m. I will have my first class.

On days when I have time to rest between classes, I can make tea or eat miscellaneous, eat something quick.

I work until noon. Lunch usually starts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vietnamese people often call it noon.

I usually work from 7 am to 12 noon. After 12 noon, I usually take a nap.

I need to take a 20-minute or 30-minute nap so that when I work in the afternoon, I don't feel sleepy. Drowsiness is like wanting to go to sleep.

After taking a nap, I will cook. I cook for myself, my husband cooks for his husband because he doesn't like the food I cook.

And I don't like the food my husband cooks, so we cook separately.

And after cooking, my husband and I sit together to have lunch and watch a movie. Having lunch while watching a movie. I only have lunch for about 30 minutes.

After lunch, if I have time, I will give the cat medicine. Medicines such as supplements and vitamins. It takes about 30 minutes to give my cat medicine.

In the afternoon, I start work at 1:30 p.m. If I have a class at 1:30 p.m., I will teach Vietnamese.

If I don't have class then maybe I prepare content for videos or podcasts or days when I need to buy things.

Buy things online for your home in Hoi An or buy things for your parents in another city.

The last afternoon class is from 4:00 to 5:00. At 5 p.m., I take a break to cook dinner and eat dinner.

I also usually cook dinner for about 30 minutes and eat dinner for about 30 minutes. And at 6 o'clock I will start the evening shift.

Evening shift means evening work time. My evening shift starts from 6pm to 8pm.

After 8 p.m., I don't teach, but I use my time to prepare lessons and clean the house.

Because I can't think well after 8pm, I don't have class after 8pm.

Normally I try to finish everything before 9:00 or 9:30 so I have time to play with my husband.

Like watching movies or drinking tea or listening to audiobooks.

Normally, lately I usually go to bed at 10:30 pm or 11:00 pm.

Before going to bed, of course I have to clean up and wash the cat's bowl, scoop cat litter and perhaps give the cat medicine if I don't give it at noon.

And brush my teeth, then I'll go to sleep.

I don't have the habit of taking a shower at night before going to bed because I easily get cold and get sick.

I often take a shower during the day. Daytime means morning, noon and afternoon.

When there is still sunshine, when there is still sun, we say it is daytime.

I usually shower during the day. At night, when it's dark and at night, I don't shower anymore because I easily get sick.

So at 10:30 or 11:00 I will finish everything and try to go to bed so that the next day I can wake up early at 4:30 or 5:00, 5:30.

Okay, thank you everyone for listening to this podcast.

And I hope it is useful to help you learn Vietnamese better and know more words.

Thank you everyone and see you again. Bye bye!
