[My Journey to You]

[Episode 23]

Jin Fan.

Chuyun Chonglian.

We got it back.

Give it to Jin Fan.

No.

Jin Fan risked his life to get it for you.

Yun and I used energy to cure ourselves

just now.

We've almost recovered.

We'll be fine.

We don't need Chuyun Chonglian.

Right?

Yun.

But

Chuyun Chonglian is extremely precious.

No matter what,

it should be kept for Sword Wielder

just in case.

Jin Fan always tells me

that he is my guardian

and that my life

is more important than his life.

He said he can die for me anytime.

So

even though he likes someone,

he has to suppress his feelings

and can't respond.

But he doesn't know

in my heart,

he's already one of my family members.

His life

is as important as mine.

Give it to Jin Fan.

I'd rather destroy the blueprint of the Infinite Heat

than let you succeed.

I have no intention of getting out of here alive.

Can you protect it?

I won't let that Wang get out of here once he comes.

You're so confident.

Of course.

By order of Sword Wielder,

we Red Jade guardians are here to be at your disposal.

Father.

Will you

be proud

of me?

Jin Fan's life has been saved.

Don't worry.

Lord Sword Wielder.

This is what Young Master Hua

left you.

This is my favorite saber.

Our Hua family

called it Clouds Weave Feathers.

Because it's too light and thin.

It's like a feather

woven from clouds.

After I become Sword Wielder,

can I have this saber?

If you pass the three trials,

every saber here

will be yours.

No need.

I just want this one.

Let me do it.

You once told me

swords are double-edged.

They hurt not only other people but also ourselves.

I'm giving this saber to you.

From now on,

I won't allow anyone to hurt you,

including yourself.

What is the name

of this saber?

Clouds Weave Feathers.

It's like a feather

woven from clouds.

Can I change the word "weave"

into "know"?

Clouds Know Feathers.

Sword Wielder.

The poison hasn't been removed yet.

It's just temporarily suppressed.

Gong Ziyu.

Why did you lie to us?

If I hadn't say that,

you wouldn't have agreed

to give the Chuyun Chonglian to Jin Fan.

Even though you love him,

it's still hard for you to make a choice.

What's going on?

Since the poison hasn't been removed,

why are you getting better?

When Yun treated me,

she found a strange phenomenon.

The mental techniques of me and Sword Wielder

can be combined together

and complement each other.

They can be combined together?

What mental technique are you practicing?

The Brocade Heart Sutra

of the Qingfeng Sect.

Show me.

The fast movement is real.

It can combine with the mental technique of Sword Wielder.

She's performing

Three Forms of Wind Emission.

[The fast movement is real.]

Isn't this Qingfeng Nine Moves Sword

of the Qingfeng Sect?

[Real things have its energy.]

Real things have its energy.

Qingfeng Nine Moves Sword

is Three Forms of Wind Emission.

It used to be

the saber technique

used by the Feng family

[If you want energy, be absorbed again.]

who has fallen

in the back hill.

If you want energy, be absorbed again.

Flowers, snow, and the moon are precious in the mortal world.

A breeze sees us off.

Please don't say goodbye.

Aren't there only

the Xue family, the Yue family, and the Hua family in the back hill?

There were not only three families

in the back hill.

There were four families.

The Feng family,

the Hua family,

the Xue family,

and the Yue family.

What the Feng family practiced

was Three Forms of Wind Emission.

The saber techniques in the back hill

are not the nine forms you know.

To be exact,

there are 12 forms.

The forms of the Xue, Yue, and Hua families are all offensive.

Only the saber technique of the Feng family is auxiliary.

So

it's usually learnt by the Sword Wielder's wife

to assist Sword Wielder.

That's why

the mental techniques of you and Sword Wielder

can support each other,

supplement each other,

and suppress the poison.

In that case,

if Miss Yun's mental technique works,

I'll be able to master Three Forms of Mirror Flower.

That's right.

The saber technique of the Feng family

can be combined with any saber technique of the other three families

to form a double saber technique.

They're

Three Forms of Wind Snow,

[Three Forms of Wind Snow]

[Three Forms of Wind Moon] [Three Forms of Wind Flower]

Three Forms of Wind Moon,

and

Three Forms of Wind Flower.

Miss Yun learnt it from the Wufeng.

Then why can people from the Wufeng

use the saber technique of the Feng family?

Are there members of the Feng family who disappeared

in the Wufeng?

Wufeng.

Wufeng.

Young Master.

Although you used your mental techniques

to temporarily suppress the poison,

your life will be in danger at any time.

The poison might kill you.

It doesn't matter.

Jin Fan's life was in danger.

I still have time.

Besides,

if I hadn't done this,

you wouldn't have agreed

to give the Chuyun Chonglian to Jin Fan.

By the way,

when he wakes up,

don't tell him the truth.

Otherwise,

he'll tear down my Yu residence.

Gong Ziyu.

You...

Don't look at me with tears.

I'm not used to it.

Besides,

he already ate it.

He can't spit it out.

I'm returning the favor.

You didn't let me thank you,

but I don't like to owe people a favor.

Open it yourself.

My hand tendons

are broken.

Don't expect me to open it for you.

Chuyun Chonglian?

Let me see.

Why is there another one?

Didn't you eat it?

I'm strong.

I kept it for my brother.

If

my brother's life is in danger one day,

I...

Thank you.

Don't thank me.

You should thank my brother.

This lotus is his.

I just gave you a box.

People from the Wufeng were defeated.

The crisis in the Gong residence has been resolved.

It's time to return the blueprint of the Infinite Heat

to the Saber Tomb of the Hua residence.

Go and get changed.

I'm fine.

But why is the blueprint missing?

I know where it is.

Why didn't you tell us earlier?

You also asked Xue Chongzi to get in the water.

So many people died

because of the blueprint.

Don't bother the living.

Is it the same as what we expected?

The blueprint

is in the Yu residence.

Ziyu.

In your future life,

you'll have many experiences of groping forward

in the dark.

At that time,

there might be no one leading the way.

When you're alone in the dark,

no matter how hard it is,

you have to make right choices.

Because what you're shouldering

is not your own fate,

but the future of the whole Gong family.

Ziyu.

Why are you here?

How are you feeling?

You know I'm injured?

Yesterday,

I heard a loud noise.

It felt like a fight.

I was afraid you might get hurt.

Last night,

the four people at the Wang level came.

Is everyone fine?

Young Master Xue,

Young Master Hua,

and Elder Hua

were all killed.

There was such a great war in the Gong residence.

But I couldn't do anything.

I'm so useless.

Brother, don't blame yourself.

The Gong family

has survived.

People from the Wufeng had been waiting

for decades.

They had been looking for the best chance.

Why did they suddenly attack here

and almost use up all their power?

All the four people at the Wang level came at the same time.

This didn't happen in the war ten years ago.

Because they wanted the Infinite Heat.

Did they get it?

No.

Before the war,

I already asked Xue Chongzi to transfer the blueprint to another place.

That's good.

But

the blueprint is missing.

What?

This is a serious matter.

You should send all the people in the Gong residence

to search the whole hill.

No need.

I already know where the blueprint is.

People with secrets

always love darkness.

Because darkness

can hide their secrets.

But sometimes,

in the darkest hour,

the secrets will emerge on their own.

Brother, why did you suddenly turn out the light?

When there's no moon, the sky is dark.

When we look up,

there are many stars.

Father once said

there is always light

in the world

which can let justice prevail.

Brother.

Do you remember it?

I applied phosphorus stone powder to the iron box

where the blueprint of the Infinite Heat was placed.

Anyone who touched it

would have it on them.

It glows

in the dark.

Both Xue Chongzi and I

touched the iron box before.

But brother,

what about you?

Ziyu.

I don't know why my hands are glowing.

There must be someone who maliciously framed me.

I lost all my martial art skills

and internal skills.

The water of the Ice Pool is freezing.

How could I dive into it and get the iron box?

Elder Yue,

you can feel my pulse.

Brother.

I never told you

the box was hidden at the bottom of the Ice Pool.

But the four people at the Wang level

all have strong internal skills.

Even if their energy is consumed by the Ice Pool,

in a moment,

they'll recover.

Who we need to be care of

are not people at the Wang level,

but a person without internal skills.

Brother.

Is there anything else you want to say to me...

to us?

When did you know it?

When I investigated Housekeeper Jia before,

I had too many doubts.

First,

I couldn't find the doctor

who cured the son

of Housekeeper Jia.

Second,

after Housekeeper Jia's son recovered,

his physical condition changed dramatically,

and he became extremely strong.

I was puzzled

until Elder Yue

mentioned Chuyun Chonglian.

Chuyun Chonglian

was planted by Gong Yuanzhi.

So I suspected

Gong Shangjue coveted the position of the Sword Wielder

so he colluded with Gong Yuanzhi

to kill my father.

But later,

I heard from Elder Yue

that

because you wanted to practice the Divine Stone Skill,

Father gave Chuyun Chonglian

to you.

Since you were rescued from the ancestral hall,

I've already been suspicious

of you.

But I dared not to ask

or think about it

until Gong Shangjue

told me his guess.

Of course I suspect Gong Huanyu.

Chuyun Chonglian

is the best evidence.

Wasn't Lady Wuji

the mastermind behind this?

My brother was also killed by her.

Then

why did Lady Wuji

wrote the word "Ren"

before she died?

Actually what she wanted to write

was the word "Yu".

But because of her scrawl,

it looked like

she wrote the word "Ren" twice.

Gong Huanyu deliberately misread the word

as "Ren".

There're so many "Ren" on it.

Because he was afraid we would suspect him.

Besides,

what Lady Wuji said before she died

was not the word "Yun"

but the word "Yu".

I didn't want to alert him,

so I deliberately said it was "Yun" first.

Yun.

It was impossible for the dying person

to write the word "Ren"

when she said the word

"Yu".

The word Wuji wrote and said

was "Yu".

Yu.

Think about it.

If it's the word "Yu",

besides you,

who else has it in his name?

If there was just the word "Yu",

I could still defend you.

But after Sister Zishang woke up,

she identified you as the real culprit

who killed Lady Wuji

and wanted to blow her up.

Lord Sword Wielder.

Eldest Young Miss woke up.

Sister.

Be careful.

Don't be afraid.

Take your time.

It's your eldest brother...

It's...

It's Gong Huanyu.

He blew up the research lab.

He wants to kill me.

That day in your room,

I saw the birthmark on his back by accident.

It's exactly the same as that of the man I saw in the ancestral hall.

He knew I stumbled on it,

so he tried to kill me.

You gave Chuyun Chonglian

to Housekeeper Jia

and saved his son.

He was thus bribed

into replacing my father's Herb Elixir.

Young Master.

Thank you for saving my son

with Chuyun Chonglian.

Hide the poison

between your teeth.

When you bite it,

you'll die

without feeling pain.

Brother.

Father and Sister Zishang

are your close family members.

You don't care about your family

at all?

People who want to achieve great things

shouldn't care about love.

Since ancient times,

great achievements have come with a price.

If the former sword wielders knew it,

they would understand me.

Your great achievement

is to get the blueprint of the Infinite Heat

and dominate the world?

Yes

and no.

All these years,

I've been working so hard

for the Infinite Heat.

But I don't want to dominate the world.

My parents

died for the Gong family.

It's a blood feud.

I must take revenge.

We have absolute power,

but we did nothing.

You only want to protect yourselves.

The former Sword Wielder was a traditionalist.

I could only be a good son

and a good brother.

I practiced martial arts hard

because I wanted to become the young lord of the Gong residence,

become the Sword Wielder,

lead the Gong family to the right path,

activate the Infinite Heat,

and eliminate the Wufeng.

Only in this way

can the Gong family enjoy eternal peace

and the disputes in the world come to an end.

The Gong family

shouldn't have lived in this valley

for generations

fearfully

under the shadow of the Wufeng.

In order to get Father's approval

and make a breakthrough at the eighth level of the Divine Stone Skill,

I forcibly used my power,

which almost

drove me crazy.

Although I made a mistake,

I understood the true meaning

of the Divine Stone Skill.

That's not understanding.

That's craziness.

Being a god or a demon

is just a choice.

In this world, strength and weakness

came before good and evil.

Huanyu.

Father.

Wait a minute.

Here you go.

This is...

Chuyun Chonglian.

I got this from Shangjue.

Eat it.

It'll be a help to you

when you practice internal skills.

Thank you, Father.

But at that time,

I already mastered internal skills.

I didn't need Chuyun Chonglian anymore.

After I became the young lord,

I asked Father countless times

to activate the Infinite Heat.

Unfortunately...

Father.

Are we going to stay in this valley fearfully

forever?

Wufeng caused so many blood feuds.

Why don't we

activate the Infinite Heat to eliminate the Wufeng?

Shouldn't we avenge our parents' death?

You just became the young lord.

You don't need to care about these things.

You should

learn more

about how to manage the Gong residence.

Father.

The elders are stubborn.

Are you the same?

How dare you!

I'm sorry, Father.

I shouldn't have contradicted you.

You've been

strange and cranky

recently.

If

the Divine Stone Skill

can't calm you down,

stop practicing it for a while.

Yes.

Go.

Since then,

Father had been thinking about

changing the heir.

He gave me no choice.

The Gong family originally had high hopes

for the young lord, Gong Huanyu.

However,

he has no morals

and can't be disciplined.

Only Gong Shangjue

can inherit the position.

Father already prepared a document

to change my position.

Once the document was handed over to the Council of Elders,

it would be a foregone conclusion.

So I couldn't wait any longer.

Back then,

I tried my best

to pass the Trial of the Three Realms.

I also promised Gong Liushang

when I become the Sword Wielder,

I'd help him reinvigorate the Shang residence.

That's how I got the secret

of passing the Trial of the Three Realms

from him.

If Gong Hongyu

passed the position of the Sword Wielder to Gong Shangjue,

all my efforts would be in vain.

So

I could only choose one who is the least threatening

to temporarily take over from me as Sword Wielder.

It's me.

In your eyes,

the least threatening person

is me.

On Zheng Nanyi,

I put a letter with the information on the Infinite Heat.

Although there are not many words,

it's about the Infinite Heat.

It could definitely

force Gong Shangjue to leave the valley

and ensure the Absent Inheritance

would work successfully.

Gong Ziyu

could thus become the new Sword Wielder.

Father,

a secret letter was found

from Miss Zheng Nanyi.

It mentioned

the Infinite Heat.

Huanyu.

Bring the female assassin here now.

I'm going to interrogate her myself.

In your eyes,

I'm just a pawn?

This is my first step.

In order to force the elders

to agree to activate the Infinite Heat,

the Gong family must be made

to feel the threat of the Wu Feng.

Only when the Gong family

was torn apart by the Wufeng

could the Infinite Heat be shown to the world.

And I

happened to know there was another suitable pawn

in the Gong residence.

Was it

Lady Wuji?

Yes.

Although she had betrayed the Wufeng,

as long as they were humans,

they had weaknesses.

When I found their weaknesses,

I could control them.

The weakness of Housekeeper Jia

was his sick son.

The weakness of Wuji

was her younger brother.

[This new sword is a proof. If you want to save them, do as I say. Find the Infinite Heat.]

[Gong Hongyu lied to you. Your father and younger brother are still alive.]

I impersonated a person from the Wufeng

and wrote a secret letter to Wuji.

I lied to her

that her brother is not dead.

To save her brother,

she must help the Wufeng find the Infinite Heat.

The Herb Elixir was already replaced.

The assassin from the Wufeng was caught.

Wuji could be controlled.

The game was almost ready.

You just entered the Gong residence.

How do you know

the Infinite Heat?

This hairpin is poisonous.

Huanyu.

Huanyu.

What happened?

I...

I killed the assassin from the Wufeng.

Hang in there.

I'll go and ask the elders to come.

No.

No.

If you tell the elders,

they'll only avoid the war.

Only by activating the Infinite Heat

can I avenge my father's death.

Infinite Heat?

Do as I say.

I'll definitely get justice

for my father.

Although Wuji didn't completely believe me,

because of that secret letter,

she must cooperate with me

for her brother.

The first step to cooperate with me

was to use winter cicada grass to help me fake my death.

After the funeral,

as promised,

Wuji came to the back hill,

rescued me from the coffin,

and hid me in the ancestral hall of the back hill.

And she

continued to create chaos in the front hill

and cause panic.

I told her

Gong Shangjue coveted the position of the Sword Wielder

so he ordered Gong Yuanzhi

to replace Gong Hongyu's Herb Elixir.

I told her that's why the former Sword Wielder died of poison.

She believed it.

In order to help Gong Ziyu

get something

on Gong Shangjue and Gong Yuanzhi,

she put her own Wufeng token

into Housekeeper Jia's room.

And this

was exactly what I wanted.

The more you fought,

the more it would be beneficial to my plan.

In order to continue to create the illusion

that assassins stormed in,

I asked Wuji to meet Elder Yue late at night

and tell him the secrets she was going to share was so important

that they needed to meet in private

without Yellow Jade guardians present.

Wuji killed Elder Yue by accident.

This life

became the reason for her

being threatened by me.

After Wuji was suspected of being Anonymous,

I told her

if she wanted to clear her name,

she had to write with blood on the wall.

Unfortunately,

Shangguan Qian saw it.

But because of this,

they confirmed their identities

in the Wufeng

and began to work together.

Everything

was going the way I wanted.

Every month,

Wuji came to the ancestral hall in the back hill

to report the progress to me

in the name of visiting Gong Hongyu's grave.

When you finally came to the third trial,

because of Yun Weishan,

there was a fierce confrontation between the front hill and the back hill.

For me,

it was the perfect opportunity.

I heard

Ziyu fell in love with someone.

Father left this to me before.

He asked me

to give it to my wife.

Now,

please give it to Yun Weishan for me.

It can fulfil

one of my father's wishes.

Yun Weishan is the one you cherish the most.

If she was killed...

Who hurt you?

Lady Wuji.

If she was killed by Anonymous,

you would try your best to avenge her death.

If you had a nervous breakdown,

you would activate the Infinite Heat.

Unfortunately,

she managed to dodge it.

Actually,

Yun was also hit by your hidden weapon.

Oh?

She's still alive?

Did you forget

this is the Gong residence?

There are geniuses who can detoxify all poisons here.

Oh.

You mean Young Master Yue.

He can't detoxify the poison.

There's another genius.

I've taken the Herb Elixir,

but the poison hasn't been completely removed.

If I can't detoxify it,

we can only beg someone else.

I really don't want to save you.

But my brother told me your plan.

If you die,

my brother's plan won't work.

Wait.

You'll get poisoned.

I'm doing this for getting poisoned.

I need to know how my body reacts

before prescribing the right medicine.

Do you think it's easy to be

a poison genius?

But it doesn't matter.

It didn't affect my next move.

Thank you

for helping me many times.

Now,

I have one last thing to ask for.

What is it?

Please

die.

You are so vicious

that you killed Lady Wuji after using her.

Even though she was Anonymous,

she never really hurt us.

And she was your foster mother.

You're soft like a woman.

The hands of every person from the Wufeng

have been stained with the blood of the Gong family.

But after you were rescued,

I felt your pulse.

You really had no internal power.

And your tendons were all broken.

Why is that?

If people want to reach

the tenth level of the Divine Stone Skill,

they have to give up

their martial art skills.

I hadn't been able

to find the right time.

It wasn't until I killed Wuji

that I realized

the time had come.

So after I gave up my martial art skills,

I deliberately shouted in the secret room

so that the guardians could hear me

and rescue me.

I asked you to diagnose me

because I wanted to make you believe

that I lost all my martial art skills

and that what I said was true.

Then I told you

that I was afraid of light

and wind

and wanted to move to this basement.

It's because this place is isolated.

It was the perfect place for me to practice

and reach the tenth level.

Everything went

according to my plan

until Gong Zishang

accidentally

discovered

that I was the man in black in the ancestral hall.

Gong Shangjue

has always been a big threat to me.

I wanted you

and him

to completely turn against each other

because of Gong Zishang's death.

Gong Shangjue

has a weakness.

That's you.

So it was you

who stole my gloves.

But I'm also one of your family members.

When you don't have enough ability,

don't be too kind.

You don't understand.

If you hadn't forced me...

In order to get the Infinite Heat,

you revealed the location of the Saber Tomb to Shangguan Qian,

causing people from the Wufeng to break in

and kill countless people.

Did we force you

to collude with people from the Wufeng?

It seems

that there're many people in the Gong residence

who can really act.

Wuji

has told me your identity.

What if I don't admit?

You don't have to.

I'm here to help you.

Oh?

You're here for the Infinite Heat,

right?

Wufeng.

How do people from the Wufeng know there is Infinite Heat

in the Gong residence?

You're so deep.

I won't hide it anymore.

The chief of the Wufeng

does know that there is Infinite Heat in the Gong residence.

It seems

that it was never a secret to her.

My goal

is also to get the Infinite Heat.

It belongs to your own family.

Can't you get it?

I know

you're an orphan from the Gushan Sect.

If you have the Infinite Heat,

you can take revenge.

We have the same goal.

We also have blood feuds with the Wufeng.

Compared to Gong Shangjue,

I'm the most suitable person to cooperate with you.

My original goal

was to marry you.

The Infinite Heat

is at the Saber Tomb of the Hua residence in the back hill.

You don't need to waste your energy in the front hill.

Just send a few girls at the Chi and Mei level

to stall Gong Ziyu.

But the strength of the young people in the back hill

far exceeded my expectations.

You may face

a fierce battle.

No matter how big the storm is,

it'll be over.

I've got the Infinite Heat.

I'll definitely eliminate the Wufeng.

You don't know

that people who use the Infinite Heat

can't escape the harm

of the Infinite Heat either.

They'll be eliminated together.

So

I'll give all these things

a perfect ending.

Isn't it good?

I'm already a dead person.

Let me die an honorable death.

Brother.

You've committed too many crimes.

Your killed

many family members.

It's not up to you.

Brother.

You can't defeat me.

None of you can defeat me.

Now,

I'm going out of the Gong residence.

If you don't stop me,

the Gong family will be safe and sound

from now on.

People from the Wufeng

are as weak

as ants.

I'm one of the Gong family.

I used to be

one of the Gong family too.
