Episode 144

Yao Chen successfully restored his physical body,

promoting to a Half-Saint elite.

He seriously injured Hall of Souls’ Eighth Tian Venerate and Ninth Tian Venerate,

resolving Falling Star Pavilion’s crisis.

Faced with his disciple, Xiao Yan, who had given everything for him,

Yao Chen felt very gratified and thankful

and personally passed on the Bone Chilling Flame to Xiao Yan.

Afterwards, to everyone’s surprise,

an old acquaintance, Nalan Yanran, for the sake of her teacher Yun Yun,

had actually come to seek Xiao Yan for help.

Xiao Yan, mindful of the bond between old friends

and in order to win over an ally for Falling Star Pavilion,

decided at once to head for Flower Sect

and lend Yun Yun a helping hand.

Bone Chilling Flame has been with Teacher for so long.

I wonder how long it’ll be before this resistance completely fades away.

Young Master Xiao Yan,

we’ve nearly reached Flower Sect.

Perfect timing after I finished my training.

Qing Lin is right.

However, we’ve only just reached the periphery of Flower Sect.

Follow me.

It really is like a different world.

What a beautiful place!

This is the Sect’s protective Enchantment Array.

If anyone breaks into Flower Sect,

they’ll get lost in this sea of flowers.

The match will begin soon.

Make sure to follow me closely.

The time has come.

Look,

it’s Elder Yun Yun!

Elder Yun Yun has come!

Yun Yun,

back then, my Sect took you in out of kindness.

Unexpectedly, you dared to get your hands on my Flower Sect’s Sect Leader position!

Sect Leader’s favor of taking me in,

Yun Yun remembers it firmly.

However, I have no intentions towards the Sect Leader position.

Why must you relentlessly pressure me?

Hua Jin,

since Yun Yun is the person favored by Granny Hua,

you should let go of this dispute

and prioritize the interests of the Sect.

I’m sure that Granny Hua was deceived by her pretense.

Moreover, how could Flower Sect’s Old Sect Leader give her Dou Qi to an outsider?

If you really have no intentions,

obediently hand over Old Sect Leader’s lifetime of Dou Qi!

Had I known earlier that Granny Hua was the Old Sect Leader,

I definitely would have reported this matter to the Sect.

That Dou Qi has already been sealed inside my body by Granny Hua.

If you want it,

come take it.

You sought this yourself!

You claim to be the acting Sect Leader,

yet you gang up on others.

Are you not afraid of becoming a laughingstock?

Xiao Yan?

You—why have you come?

It’s Yanran.

We once crossed paths.

Since you’ve run into trouble,

I can’t just sit still and do nothing, right?

This—who is this person?

Looks like he’s Yun Yun’s friend;

he seems to be very strong.

Yun Yun,

you still claim that you’re not interested in the Sect Leader position?

You’ve even called over helpers!

Whatever.

Both of you can act at once,

lest others say we bully with numbers.

Xiao Yan,

you don’t have to get involved in this mess.

Don’t worry.

Yanran has already explained the details of the situation to me.

If you want to fight,

naturally, I have no problem.

However, regardless of victory or defeat,

you guys won’t lose anything.

Isn’t this too laughable?

How about this.

If you guys lose,

the position of Flower Sect Sect Leader goes to Yun Yun.

Who are you to talk,

thinking you can negotiate terms with me?

Flower Sect is this arrogant, huh?

Do you think my Falling Star Pavilion has no people?

You’re from Falling Star Pavilion?

I am Xiao Yan,

Young Pavilion Leader of Falling Star Pavilion.

My Teacher is Yao Chen.

Coming on this trip,

Teacher instructed me

that if I were to meet Senior Fairy Qing of Flower Sect,

I should greet her on his behalf.

He’s Falling Star Pavilion’s Young Pavilion Leader?

Yun Yun actually knows Falling Star Pavilion’s Young Pavilion Leader? Supreme Elder Fairy Qing and Venerate Yao,

their relationship isn’t ordinary.

Turns out it is Venerate Yao’s disciple.

That is thoughtful of him.

If there’s an opportunity in the future,

I will definitely convey his regards to Supreme Elder Fairy Qing.

You are Xiao Yan?

I agree to your proposal.

I’d like to see how much ability

Venerate Yao’s disciple really has.

You haven’t refined Granny Hua’s Dou Qi yet;

you’re no match for them.

Allow me.

Hua Jin is a Four-star Fight Venerate;

that Yaohua Xiejun is a Six-star Fight Venerate.

You alone are no match for them.

You deal with Yun Yun;

leave that brat to me.

Six Joint Fire!

I certainly underestimated you.

This Sect Leader would like to see

just what it is that old granny saw in you!

Where’d this broken puppet come from?

Xiao Yan is actually able to unleash a Fight Venerate-level puppet?

Lord Yao!

Hua Jin,

hold back that puppet for now.

Wait for me to capture this brat;

that puppet will naturally stop.

As expected of Venerate Yao’s disciple.

A Two-star Fight Venerate

can cause even a Six-star Fight Venerate to be at a loss.

I’ll make you realize the true gap between us!

Sky Fire Three Mysterious Change,

Third Change.

Through Burning Flame Valley’s Secret Technique, he actually

instantaneously raised his strength to Four-star Fight Venerate.

Looks like this Hua Jin can’t hold out much longer.

Very good.

Let’s end things quickly today.

I’ll let you witness this Venerate’s Qi Incarnate: Heaven and Earth!

End things quickly, eh?

Just what I wanted.

Heavenly Flame?

He—he’s going to display that thing again?

He can actually merge four kinds of Heavenly Flame?

This Falling Star Pavilion Young Pavilion Leader indeed isn’t called that for nothing.

The little Grandmaster from back then

now has enough strength to toy with a Six-star Fight Venerate.

It seems like, ever since we became acquainted,

you’ve never ceased to shatter my understanding,

creating miracle after miracle.

These two individuals are going to destroy my Flower Sect today, I’m afraid.

All disciples, heed my order!

Set up the formation!

Today, this Venerate would like to see

whether your Heavenly Flame is stronger

or this Venerate’s Qi Incarnate: Heaven and Earth is superior!

Is this the full-powered attack of a Six-star Fight Venerate?

Go,

Extermination Fire Lotus.

What Extermination Fire Lotus?

It cannot withstand a single blow!

Break!

Are you alright?

I’m fine.

Lord Yao!

Good thing First Elder took action.

Otherwise, our Flower Sect might’ve been ruined.

Turns out this Xiao Yan is as powerful as the rumors say;

he was actually able to defeat Yaohua Xiejun, a Six-star Fight Venerate!

Xiao Yan,

displaying such a powerful Fight Technique,

were you trying to destroy my Flower Sect?

It was an urgent situation;

I hope Senior won’t blame me.

On account of Venerate Yao and Falling Star Pavilion,

I won’t pursue this further.

Hua Jin,

you guys lost.

Based on the agreement,

hand over the Sect Leader token to Yun Yun.

I haven’t been in Flower Sect for very long.

I also haven’t made outstanding contributions to Flower Sect.

I am undeserving.

Take it.

Old Sect Leader’s judgement wouldn’t be wrong.

She gave her lifetime of Dou Qi to you.

Presumably, in her heart, you were the perfect choice for inheriting the Sect Leader position.

Take it.

Don’t disappoint the Old Sect Leader’s sincere intentions.

First Elder,

will Flower Sect and my Profound Sky Sect become allies or enemies?

You’d better think through this clearly.

The way Profound Sky Sect does things,

I’m sure everyone is well aware.

If Flower Sect really does form an alliance with them,

before long, I’m afraid,

Flower Sect will become another branch sect of Profound Sky Sect.

Xiao Yan,

don’t spew nonsense here!

If First Elder doesn’t mind,

after Yun Yun becomes Sect Leader,

my Falling Star Pavilion will become Flower Sect’s most reliable ally.

Venerate Yao’s prominent reputation,

in the entire Continent,

who isn’t aware,

who doesn’t know?

Flower Sect having Venerate Yao’s Falling Star Pavilion as an ally

would naturally be best.

Since First Elder has already made a decision,

this Venerate hopes that Flower Sect won’t regret its decision today.

Whether or not we’ll regret it

isn’t for you, an outsider, to worry about.

Lord Yao,

what should we do now?

Since you guys chose Falling Star Pavilion,

our relationship ends here.

My Profound Sky Sect

won’t let go of this!

Lord Yao!

You can’t abandon me!

Fuck off!

From today onwards,

Yun Yun will be the new Sect Leader of my Flower Sect.

Her decrees carry the full weight of the Sect’s authority.

Any disobedience shall be dealt with

in accordance to Sect rules.

Greetings, Sect Leader.

Yun Yun!
