Episode 142

The Hall of Souls, for unknown reasons,

indiscriminately seizes spiritual bodies across the Central Plains.

Even the powerful Venerate Yao, Yao Chen,

was tragically murdered by the Hall of Souls’ Mu Gu and traitor Han Feng.

Keen to recover a physical body, Yao Chen

formed a teacher-disciple relationship with a youth from Wu Tan City, Xiao Yan.

During their adventures together, teacher and disciple

forged a bond that was at once teacher, father, and friend

until Yao Chen was abducted by the Hall of Souls.

Xiao Yan, after going through untold hardships,

finally rescued Teacher from the Hall of Souls.

As a result, Xiao Yan had also angered the Hall of Souls.

Hall of Souls, as a top faction in the Dou Qi Continent,

decided to destroy Falling Star Pavilion,

killing the chicken to warn the monkey— a show of force to assert authority.

Old Feng. Venerate Feng.

You guys are back?

How are things on Xiao Yan’s side?

There’s nothing out of the ordinary at Stone Tower.

I wonder how Young Master and Yao Lao are doing now.

Xiao Yan, that little fellow, never does things he can’t handle.

Don’t worry.

Teacher!

Disciples passed back news

that Hall of Souls has gathered a group of elites that is currently charging towards Falling Star Pavilion!

At the latest, they’ll arrive in three days!

Hall of Souls.

At last, they couldn’t hold it in.

Pass down the order.

Everyone, prepare for battle.

Have the Elders inspect the Great Falling Star Formation;

it cannot have any gaps.

Yes.

Quick!

Quick, follow! Quick!

As expected of a marvelous substance distilled from a Fight Saint skeleton.

This kind of energy can definitely help me break through to Two-star Fight Venerate.

Old Feng.

How long will it take for Brother Chen to complete the merge?

This body is too powerful.

Although Teacher’s ability is extraordinary,

he can’t easily control it.

As for when he can completely merge... hard to estimate.

Did something happen?

In at most three days,

a Hall of Souls army will reach Falling Star Pavilion.

Damned Hall of Souls.

Right now is a critical time for Brother Chen.

He cannot be disturbed.

You must protect your Teacher.

As for the outside,

I will make appropriate arrangements.

Teacher,

rest assured.

Disciple will not let anyone disturb you.

Teacher,

things have been properly arranged.

Falling Star Pavilion’s disciples have all been summoned back from abroad;

all entrances and exits have been closed.

Great Falling Star Formation is also running smoothly.

Hall of Souls.

You two,

work together

to break this big formation.

Today, we must use bloody tactics to suppress Falling Star Pavilion;

let the other factions in the Continent know

that not just anyone can provoke my Hall of Souls.

Finally here.

Panicking for what?

Old Ghost Zhai Xing

and the Hei and Bai Tian Venerates who acted at the end that day have come as well.

Three Tian Venerates have come directly, huh.

This Hall of Souls sure thinks highly of my Falling Star Pavilion.

Old Man Feng,

are you scared?

Today,

we’re going to raze your Falling Star Pavilion to the ground.

Ask them if they agree.

Falling Star Pavilion is our foundation,

built by our blood, sweat, and tears!

No matter who wants to destroy it,

we will fight to the death!

Protect Falling Star Pavilion!

Fight to the death!

Protect Falling Star Pavilion!

Fight to the death!

Protect Falling Star Pavilion!

I’ll hold back Hei and Bai Tian Venerates.

You guys deal with Old Ghost Zhai Xing.

Pavilion Leader Feng, please reconsider!

Teacher!

How can you fight those two people alone?

I’ll deal with Old Ghost Zhai Xing.

It’s Young Pavilion Leader Xiao Yan!

He came out!

Young Pavilion Leader!

Xiao Yan,

I said before

that we’d meet again.

This time,

no one can save you.

Let’s hold them back as much as possible.

Don’t let them disturb Teacher.

Young Master,

the last Tian Venerate, let me handle them.

Although Qing Lin is only a One-star Fight Venerate,

she has Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils and the Ancient Sky Serpent spiritual body.

She should be able to handle it.

Then they’ll be up to you.

Have you finished discussing how you’ll die?

Wash Falling Star Pavilion in blood!

Puppet?

A puppet that can match a Four-star Fight Venerate is certainly rare!

Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils?

Correct.

It is unexpected

that these kinds of magical eyes actually exist in this world.

Unfortunately, you’re too weak right now!

That’s not necessarily true.

It’s only been more than a year

and this brat already has the strength to counter a Five-star Fight Venerate.

He cannot be allowed to continue living!

Now, I will let you personally witness

the true power of a Five-star Fight Venerate!

Star Shattering Slash!

Great Heaven Creation Palm!

Tian Class Fight Technique?

How is it possible?

It was that Fight Saint skeleton?

Damn it.

Xiao Yan, damn you!

Die!

Ninth Tian Venerate,

save me!

Save you?

Getting forced into such a state by a junior,

what face do you have to be called a Hall of Souls Tian Venerate?

You’re that Xiao Family kid?

What an overbearing Fight Technique.

As expected of Xiao Xuan’s descendant.

This Venerate is very curious

how you were able to reach the Fight Venerate level at this age.

Could it be that Xiao Clan’s wasted bloodline

can still be activated again?

Wasted bloodline?

Impossible.

With Xiao Clan’s wasted bloodline,

nurturing a second Xiao Xuan is impossible.

I know you possess a kind of fire lotus that is comparable to a Tian Class Fight Technique.

However, it’s not enough.

In front of this Venerate,

you won’t have an opportunity to display this attack.

So quick.

Stop struggling.

Come with this Venerate.

Although my mission is bring you back alive,

as long as you have a breath remaining,

that counts.

Then go ahead and try!

This Venerate already said

that these

are useless.

Stop seeking your own suffering.

Obediently come with this Venerate.

Who is it?

Trying to take away my disciple,

you, Ninth Tian Venerate, are not qualified.
