Episode 137

Following Zi Yan, Xiao Yan’s group broke into an ancient altar,

discovering that it was a place where a Void Ancient Dragon and Ancient Heaven Phoenix had fallen after a great battle.

Moreover, a precious Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit was discovered by Zi Yan.

However, this also attracted Heaven Demon Phoenix Tribe’s covetous desire.

An intense battle between the two parties was imminent;

ultimately, Zi Yan activated the Void Ancient Dragon Ancestral Soul

and defeated the Ancient Heaven Phoenix Ancestral Soul in one strike,

successfully driving away the enemy.

Afterwards,

the party, while searching for the Tian Class Fight Technique,

accidentally discovered an extremely rare Pill Beast.

Unexpectedly,

the mysterious person who had previously attacked Zi Yan appeared once again.

You again.

Damn it.

Are you tired of living,

daring to appear again?

Why waste words with her?

Give us back the Pill Beast.

The previous incident,

we’ll let bygones be bygones.

Cut the crap.

If you want to fight, go ahead!

These people, although their bodies are being controlled,

have still kept their own will.

This woman’s methods are very strange.

They’re all Nine Serene Deep Ground Pythons.

There are actually two more Fight Venerates?

Go!

Hmph.

Not good,

she’s running away!

Let’s see where you run!

Such quick speed.

Mountain Opening Seal!

Hand over the Pill Beast!

Dream on!

Stubborn.

Six Joint Fire!

Demon Pupil Body Control!

Trying to control my spirit?

Hmph.

You can hand over the Pill Beast now.

I won’t.

Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils?

Are you—

Qing Lin?

How do you know my name?

It’s really you!

Little girl,

you don’t recognize me?

Then you should at least recognize this heavy ruler, I hope?

Do you still remember Jia Ma Empire’s Tager Desert?

And the Desert Metal Mercenary Company?

What beautiful scales.

Qing Lin,

don’t pay too much attention to what other people think.

You don’t live for other people;

what you live for

is yourself.

Xiao—

Young Master Xiao Yan?

Is it really you?

You finally remember.

After so many years,

the little girl from back then

has grown up.

Young Master Xiao Yan,

are you hurt?

I’m fine.

As for you,

were you injured?

I’m really sorry.

I was a bit heavy handed just now.

Take this pill first.

Right!

Why’d they all disappear?

Not good—quick, go look for Xiao Yan!

I’m such an idiot.

I should’ve recognized you long ago; TL note: Qing Lin is using the respectful form of ‘you’ when addressing Xiao Yan

TL note: Qing Lin is using the respectful form of ‘you’ when addressing Xiao Yan I even dared to attack you!

It’s not your fault.

Over these years, we’ve all changed quite a lot.

Not recognizing is to be expected.

There!

Running away after stealing?

Shameless!

Xiao Yan,

how are you?

Little Fairy Doctor, wait.

This was all a misunderstanding.

Her name is Qing Lin.

She’s a good friend I met in Jia Ma Empire back then.

But that night, she also tried to control me!

I’m very sorry.

That day, I mistook you for

a member of the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe.

Hmph.

Fine.

Since you’re a friend of Xiao Yan,

I’ll be magnanimous

and not argue with you anymore.

Right, Qing Lin,

after you were taken away by Sky Serpent Mansion back then,

how have they treated you?

Throughout these years,

they’ve been very good to me.

In fact, they wanted to groom me

to become Sky Serpent Mansion’s next leader.

Not only did they take meticulous care of me

in every aspect of my life,

they even taught me

all of the sect’s secret methods.

However, they wanted to make me

marry the previous leader’s eldest son.

I wasn’t willing.

So I snuck out and returned to Jia Ma Empire.

But that place had already completely changed.

After finding out that you, Young Master Xiao Yan, were in the Central Plains,

I came over as well.

The Central Plains is too big.

Looking for one person among a sea of people

was too improbable.

So I could only wander around

while looking for your whereabouts.

Young Master Xiao Yan,

you can have this back.

You need this Pill Beast?

According to legend, a Pill Beast’s blood can detoxify all poisons.

That’s why I came to look for it.

Detoxify poison?

Did we get here early?

This seal

won’t open for a little while longer, it seems.

Why isn’t Big Brother Xiao Yan here?

Don’t worry.

With little friend Xiao Yan’s strength,

he’ll be fine.

What poison is this? Why is it so chilly?

It’s the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe’s Emperor Python Heart Corroding Poison,

one of the deadliest poisons in this world.

It is said to be incurable.

How did you end up provoking these fellows?

They bullied me first!

Back then, when I came to the Beast Region,

I just wanted to use Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils

to control a few Snake-type Magical Beasts

so that I could defend myself in the Central Plains.

Along the way, I unexpectedly ran into

a Fight Venerate class Elder from the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe

who recognized my Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils

and went all out to try to snatch them.

I could only feign death,

tricking him into letting his guard down,

and then try to control him.

Unfortunately, my injuries at the time were too severe

and I couldn’t block his last-ditch attack.

I was struck by his Emperor Python Heart Corroding Poison;

even worse,

that Elder passed on information about me

to the Nine Serene Deep Ground Python Tribe,

attracting over countless pursuers.

In desperation,

I could only control all those fellows

who were chasing me.

Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils, when it comes to Snake Magical Beasts,

are an extreme threat.

No wonder they wanted to capture you.

Although Emperor Python Heart Corroding Poison is troublesome,

it’s not impossible to cure.

However, the Pill Beast’s blood alone

isn’t enough to completely clear the poison within your body.

This is Little Fairy Doctor,

Sect Leader of Chu Yun Empire’s Poison Sect.

If she says it’s curable,

it’s definitely curable.

Many thanks, Sister Little Fairy Doctor! Many thanks, Young Master Xiao Yan!

After exiting the remains,

I’ll think of a way to help you expel the poison.

Before then,

you can accompany us.

As expected of Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils, the world’s most extraordinary pupils.

It really is marvelous.

Let’s go.

We still have to check out the rumored Tian Class Fight Technique.

Young Master Xiao Yan,

while inside the remains, I stumbled upon a map.

It has the main hall’s location marked.

It’s possible that the Tian Class Fight Technique is hidden there.

Let’s go try our luck then.

So this is the main hall?

Big Brother Xiao Yan!

Here, here!

Valley Master Tang,

Young Lady Huo’er.

Little friend Xiao Yan came at the perfect time.

The seals on these scrolls

will soon completely disappear.

Perhaps the Tian Class Fight Technique is among them.

Valley Master Tang,

there are as many as ten of these scrolls.

Don’t tell me they’re all Tian Class Fight Techniques?

I’d wager that there’s only one real Tian Class Fight Technique among them.

As for who can obtain it,

it’ll depend on each person’s luck and strength.

Looks like I’m not late.

Old Ghost Zhai Xing?

Hall of Souls did end up sending people over.

These Fight Saint remains really are lively.

It’s actually Hall of Souls’ Old Ghost Zhai Xing.

Hmph.

Now, there’ll be a good show to watch.

Rumor has it

that Xiao Yan broke off one of Old Ghost Zhai Xing’s arms.

How is that possible?

As strong as Xiao Yan might be, there’s no way he could do that.

In that case,

I have actually underestimated Xiao Yan.

However, since these two have old grudges,

for us,

it’s a good opportunity to snatch back the Dragon Phoenix Origin Fruit.

Old Ghost,

this arm of yours is growing pretty quickly, eh?

Xiao Yan? Turns out you’re still alive!

I was waiting to send you off, you fellow.

Worthless little brat,

I’ll take your life today!

It seems to me that you also don’t want your other arm anymore.

Tang Zhen?

The seal is about to disappear!

Forget it.

Hall Chief’s mission is what’s important.

With Tang Zhen’s involvement,

I won’t be able to take down this brat in a short timeframe.

After taking care of business, I’ll settle you.

Come at me anytime.

The Tian Class Fight Technique is mine!

Don’t act right now.

Let me try to look for the true Tian Class Fight Technique.

Emanating such a violent aura...

it’s likely that the Tian Class Fight Technique is inside.

I’ll handle snatching the scroll.

You guys, please help me draw away the nearby puppets.

Be careful.

Seeking death!

Don’t let that brat succeed!

Try this!

Fuck off for this Venerate!

The scroll is mine!

You think you’re worthy?

Stay!

Let’s see how you’ll escape!

Come!

Xiao Yan!

You murdered my son;

today, I’ll bury you alongside him!
