Previously on "The Traitors"...
Banishment, my dear friend, should be your fate tonight.
I am a faithful.
- I'm a faithful. - A faithful.
- I'm a faithful, you idiots. - Oh, my God.
After losing four faithfuls to banishment...
I am a traitor.
...a traitor was finally caught by the faithful.
The traitors are weakened, but beware,
a predator is most dangerous when wounded.
There is an alliance in that castle gunning for you and me.
Tonight, you must either murder a faithful
or try and seduce one to join you as a traitor.
Here's my idea.
We seduce Peter and watch him murder his friends.
Do what you want to do.
All you need to do is write their name
on this anonymous invitation, and I will deliver it to them.
That faithful then has a choice.
They can either accept or refuse your offer.
I want him on my team, and I want him working with me.
"Dear Peter, we wish to recruit you as a traitor."
Oh, my God.
Tonight, we'll have a new recruit,
and we'll have to have him swear an oath of allegiance.
I mean, it's better to turn the guy who's against you--
Peter refused your attempt at seduction.
Oh, my God.
Very disappointing.
Parvati.
I know. Well, I tried.
I'm a faithful till the end.
I want to be a part of winning this the right way.
There's no way in the world I could betray, like, my team.
Like, looking into Bergie's eyes,
looking into Trishelle's eyes, like, I have given them my word.
Like, I can't. There's no way I could do that.
What a dummy.
I guess he doesn't want to win that badly.
Things have gone from bad to a lot, lot worse for you
this evening. - Yes.
There will be no murder tonight,
and everyone will turn up at breakfast tomorrow.
Mm.
It's not a good look for me.
This could be your last meal.
The game continues, traitors.
Mm.
Oh, God. I'm sorry.
- That Bachelor is not seducible. - Mm.
Peter is a piece of work, and she knew that.
So I guess she's going to have to work out
the work that she has.
This is-- This is very bleak.
I'm shocked. I'm devastated.
But a test of a true traitor's character is what she does
when her back's against the wall.
- Yeah. - I will rise from the ashes.
- I know, like a phoenix. - I will find a way through.
I will march on.
Peter's definitely dangerous. He's clever.
He's a full-on bloodhound.
So I think I've got my work cut out for me.
♪ There's no way I'm fallin' down ♪
♪ Down ♪
With no recruitment or murder taking place,
the traitors are now on the back foot.
But as everyone makes their way to breakfast,
the faithfuls are none the wiser.
First ones in.
Oh, snap.
Oh, my. Oh, my God.
Now we get to watch everybody else.
Okay.
Where do you want to sit?
Let's go at the end of the table so we can watch.
Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Duh.
My nerves are absolutely everywhere right now
because last night,
Parvati's decision was the worst decision ever.
And just hope that it doesn't come back on me.
I don't think they'll murder Kate,
so I'm thinking it's going to be Peter, Trishelle, or John.
So you think they'll break up your crew?
- Yep. - But y'all are like a gang.
We are. We are. I'm not going to lie.
Come in.
- Hey! - Hey!
Is it just you? Oh! What's up Kate?
- Ohhhhh. - Hey.
Hi.
- Oh, M.J., you're here, too. - M.J.
How you doing?
So last night's banishment, we finally got out a traitor.
- Which felt so good. - Oh, that felt so good.
We all thought Dan, in our group, was a traitor.
We all-- our number two was all Parvati.
After that, we have no idea.
- Yeah. - Like, we're back to square one.
We don't need to worry yet about that.
- Yeah. - Just one at a time.
One at a time. Yep.

I'm not sure what's going to happen at breakfast.
I don't know if Peter's going to say
that he was attempted to be recruited,
and that he chose to decline the invitation and stay faithful.
Either way, I'm thinking Peter's going to paint
a target on his back if he talks about the recruitment.
So I am ready for whatever comes out of Peter's mouth
and I'm ready for battle today.
How's everyone feeling?
- Good. How are you feeling? - Very good.

Auf wiedersehen.
Oh, no. We're running around the woods.

in order to get Parvati out.
It's her or me.
Well, Parvati,
I guess this means you're not a traitor
if I'm still here. - That's a change of tune.
Now you're saying I'm not a traitor?
The fact that I'm still here, is that what that means?
I don't know. You've been gunning for me

it's going to be revealed that she's a traitor.
So now it's two traitors in a row.

- One second, Phaedra. - But can you give us a minute?
- Oh, okay. - Thank you so much.
Peter and his pals, the Peter Pals,

Dan called out a traitor.

I feel like that's too risky.
I feel like my plan might be better.
- This is how-- - Knock, knock.
- What's up, M.J.? - M.J., you mind?
I'm so sorry. For one second.

Well... So... I'm...
I don't want to be left out of something.
You won't be. Promise you.
Yeah.
- A minute. - Okay.
Yeah.
I don't like that door.
It's me. They said to leave.
- Peter said that? - They told you to leave?
Yeah.
I think Peter is a traitor.
He causes so much chaos, so much drama.
He does more harm than good.
And he has an alliance of five people.
So it's a numbers game.
So come here. Come to the pool table.
Okay.
Peter is the boss protected by Trishelle and Bergie, right?
I really like where this is going.
This is going to be John, and this has to be Kevin.
This is us, right?
- Okay, - Here's my theory.
If the traitor's here, were screwed, right?
Because then they'll decide who gets murdered, right?
What happens is, if they murder and banish two people
from this group, now there's only five against five.
Mm-hmm.
So let's say these five vote one of us out,
and now we're outnumbered because we only have four.
Yeah, so we can't let that happen.
So what has to happen today without failure for us
to get one step further
is that one of these has to be banished.
- I agree. - This is the best thing
I've ever experienced.
This is why my knowledge of "Survivor" helps me,
because I'm able to show everyone how the numbers look,
how they can be dissected, how I figured it out,
and I'm hoping that they're able to see
exactly what I'm showing them.
The leftovers have to prevail,
and that's what we are, the leftovers,
because we're not part of the most faithful of the faithful.
Why all of a sudden is Peter coming into breakfast saying,
"I'm not a traitor," now?
He was so dead set, 100%. - That's what I was wondering,
So, all of a sudden, he's changing his story.
He just put a target on his back then.
If Peter's the head traitor, let's take him out.
Let's take him out.
The only way this works
is if every single person votes the same.
Do you think Parvati's feeling a bit vulnerable?
Yeah. For sure.
Make a decision, and we're going to stick with it.
Peter. Peter. Peter. Peter.
- Peter. - Peter.
This is very good for me.
Peter thinks he is on his high horse.
He thinks he's running this show.
I cannot wait to watch that smug smile fall
off of his lips when he gets banished.
I am going to be dancing all the way to the turret.
That's what's happening. - Okay.
Battle lines may have been drawn in the castle,
but in today's mission, traitors and faithful
must come together to try and add money to the prize pot,
which currently stands at $95,500.
Players, welcome to the woods of Darach McDorman.
an ancient place filled with beauty, wildlife, folklore,
and lots and lots of deadly traps.
Oh
Traps?
For this mission, you will need to carry this gold through
to the other side of these woods without getting caught.
Uh-oh.
If you get all the gold through my fatal forest,
you will add $25,000 to the prize pot.
Okay.
Alright, Daddy.
For this task, you will go through the woods in pairs.
We believe in the buddy system.
Please now select your traveling partner.
How you doing?
Oh, this is going to be slippery.
John, are you ready for this?
Ugh, this is going to be a disaster.
So now you're in your pairs,
each bag contains a specific amount of gold,
from small potatoes to big bucks.
There's a $10,000,
a $7,000 bag, a $5,000 bag, a $1,500, $1,000, and $500 bag.
How much money do you trust each other to carry?
Please decide who is taking which bag-- now.
Um, what do you guys want to do?
We'll take $500. We'll take $500.
Okay, we'll take the $7,000.
- You want to take the $10,000? - I'll take the $10,000.
- Okay. - Okay.
Peter and I are like,
"Of course we're going to get the $10,000 bag
'cause we are the best team here.
We do well at these missions, and I think we're going to win.
You guys could do more than $500.
That was the smallest amount, so if we lose,
no skin off anybody's back.
What can you really do with $500?
You can't buy a good pair of shoes with that.
Now, listen up.
At various points on your journey, the paths will split.
You must choose which route to take by answering a question
along your chosen route, you will find a scroll.
One of you must pick this up and read it.
This will reveal whether you have the question right
or wrong.
If it's correct, you're on the right path,
and you may continue your journey.
If it's wrong, the person who picks up the scroll
will be caught in a trap
and out of the mission.
If both players are unlucky enough to get caught,
you will lose the gold you are carrying
as well as your dignity,
if indeed you had any in the first place.
I'm losing more every day.
I can confirm there are up to two
of these precious shields on the line today.
The player or players that make it through the wood
in the fastest time will win a precious shield or shields.
Parvati hates me. Like, she's got to hate me.
I turned down a recruitment.
I need to be able to protect myself,
and just having a shield would make me feel so good.
So, players, are you prepared to meet your leafy doom?

Three, two, one.
Go!
- Okay, let's go. - Run for your lives.
They were never seen again.
- Are you with me? - Yeah. I'm with you.
Stay with me. Stay with me.
It's a little bit muddy.
Kevin is a part of the clique with Peter,
but he's someone that I know can help me to win a shield.
This is how I play to win.
Alright, be careful right here.
Slippery? Oh, my God. Okay. Here.

A sweet bonding moment for me and him.
We have one question left. We're going to crush this.
Okay, okay. "Which portrait wall is correct?"
I-- Maybe it's-- Maybe it's this one that's right.
Okay, we're looking at these portraits.
I am really not sure.
Even though I see it every single time I go into breakfast.
We got to do it quickly because there's
some shields on the line.
Do you remember who's next to you?
Is Peppermint next to you on this side or on this side?
I just don't remember.
"Which portrait wall is correct?"
"Which portrait wall is correct?"
It's this one, correct? - Yeah.
She was at the left. Let's go.
- Help me up. - I got it. Come on, let's go.
I think this one is right.
Let's go this way. - Okay, right.
Let's do it. Okay, you good here?
"Congratulations.
You made it successfully through the woods."
Keep walking. Come on. We got it.
Come on. - What does it say?
Yeah, we were correct, but it's about time now.
Let's go. - Whoo-hoo-hoo!
- We're there. - Wow, Parvati,
you're the triumphant warrior, the ultimate survivor.
Kevin.
Both of us did it.
I felt like we did it in a good amount of time,
but I'm not certain.
I would love to have a shield.
I've never won a shield.
This is everything to me.
Players, as the saying goes, fortune favors the gold.
C.T. and Phaedra, Trishelle and Peter,
Bergie and Shereé, Kate and M.J.,
you were all sadly trapped amongst the trees
and therefore failed to bank anything.
- Wow. - Oh, my God.
John and Parvati, Kevin and Sandra,
you made it all the way to the end
and managed to bank $8,000 for the prize pot.
- Whoo! - Let's go, guys.
- Good job y'all. - Oh, my God.
At least we got something. - Wow.
And two of you escaped with something
even more precious than gold.
I can now reveal...
the players who made it through the forest fastest
and who won shields
protecting them tonight from the traitors' tentacles...
are...
...Kevin and Sandra. - Yes!
Finally.
- I got the-- - Congratulations to you.
- Yes. - Good job.
It feels like safety,
and it also feels amazing
that I can win it a little bit later in the game.
Aw, man, we didn't get the shield,
but, thankfully, Peter did not get the shield either.
I can't wait to kill him.
A mission well done, players, but you're not
out of the woods yet.
I have a little surprise for you all later.
We showed up with some-- we got some money,
we got-- one of our five is for sure safe.
