one in this game, and

nobody seems to know how good we are

at playing this game together.

Something's going on.

There's a blaring neon

working together.

They're gonna write our names.

Mitch is the only clear other target here,

and so that's why it has to be Mitch.

David and Mary are
being extremely paranoid.

On principle right now, Eva, like...

So, I could go

with this four-six alliance
that we talked about

for ages, or betray David.

Tenth person voted out

and the third member of our jury:

David.

The tribe has spoken.

David really kind of
did that to himself, man.

He seemed surprised.

Yeah, of course.

Tribal council was a complete shock.

David was my number
one ally, and he's gone.

So, yeah, it feels demoralizing.

- I'm gonna go talk to Mary.
- Okay.

Eva, shauhin, Kyle
and Joe... all the bulky,

hulky, strong, herculean people

completely played me and David.

At the bottom again.

I'm really, really sorry.

Now I feel like my position here

is, like, screwed, you know?

I mean, I really, really like you,

and I like working with you.

And so, I am, like, being like,

- "let's not do Mary, okay?"
- Yeah.

I can just be like, "we can get
rid of Mary whenever, right?"

And so, that's how I'm going
to market keeping you around.

- Yeah.
- And so, I'm not gonna promise

that I'm not gonna

but I am gonna tell you if it is your name,

I really like Mary, and

I don't want to have
bad blood between us.

That's why I'm being straightforward

and telling the truth, but I've picked

my people I want to work
with, and she's not part of that.

I have a strong four that
I'm working with now, being

myself, Joe, shauhin and Kyle.

I talked to Mary. I suggested to her

I was like, "your best
play is just to lay low.

Be a number for us."

We really hold a lot of power because

I've built up an artillery of weapons

to protect me and my allies, I
have the hidden immunity idol,

I have a safety without power.

And with all that, we
can get to that final four

and everyone else can't
really do much about it.

They did. They did.

I hate to say it, I knew it would happen.

Exactly. Exactly.

- Exactly.
- You got to look at the cracks

who will flip, who won't flip.

Honestly, like, Mitch is smart
enough to know that, like,

even if you get into that group,

you're gonna be the first one out.

If the four of us all go

- And then they all go for...

They might even split
the vote, so we might win.

- They won't go to rocks.
- I promise you...

They're playing so scared.

Now we got a whole new revolution.

The big people are about
to get ate by the piranhas,

and it's gonna be too sweet.

They won't see it coming
because they're so big-headed

that they think everything is

all, like, peaches and cream, and it's not.

Really, it's as brown and dirty

as the coconut I opened last night.

I'll say this one last time.

Shauhin is the brain, Joe
is the strength-slash-body

and Eva is the heart.

If Joe doesn't win tomorrow,
then we do Joe, right?

- Joe.
- I think we need to do Joe.

We're not going out without a fight,

and Joe's strong ass needs to go.

So, yeah, we are part of the people

who are standing up for what's right.

We don't have the 300-pound biceps,

but what we have is spirit,
and spirit goes a long way.

The school where I worked at...

The school, I was, like, a postman.

So, one day,

I walked up these
stairs and I stick the mail

in the mailbox, and I just hear this, like

this growl, and I see
this massive pit bull.

- And his head... I kid you not...
- was this big.

He's coming at me, and so, I, like,

drop the mail and haul butt.

And I was, like, literally
running for my life.

And I'm looking at the dog to
make sure he doesn't get me.

The next thing you know

my dumb self hits a tree, - dead on.

And all I hear is...

And I'm like this. I'm like,
"god, I still got him on."

I, like, crawl.

I, like, crawl away to the curb.

I'm literally crawling like I've been shot.

And then I realized
the dog was chained up.

Literally saved my life.

He would have just killed me.

Mitch is hilarious,
likeable, fun to be around.

Like, the mailman thing is just

unbelie... that's one... that's
the hardest I've ever laughed.

I did not go to college
to be attacked by a dog.

Done. I'm done.

Mitch is in a pretty good spot right now.

He's a free agent in this
game, along with kamilla.

And they are the ones who are trying

to keep the closest because

if kamilla and Mitch wake up and realize

that they're on the outside of the four

me, Kyle, Eva and Joe

maybe they'll just
start thinking, "we need

to make a move and we
need to make a move now."

So we want to get to
those free agents first.

- I love your sense of humor, Mitch.
- Listen,

that's the only way I made
it this far with the stutter.

You got to be able to laugh
at yourself every now and then.

And I think Mary's less of an issue

'cause we don't have to
worry about her playing

And I think it's the

then you snore really loudly,

and it's very, very disturbing
to other people's sleep.

Well, I'm gonna need you
guys to go to sleep a little bit

Because you were snoring
so damn loud I couldn't even...

The only reason why

I'm tempted to keep Mitch is because

we need him for the numbers.

Right now, me, Mary and
kamilla are on the bottom,

but we're not going out without a fight.

don't really know right now.

So I have to convince Mitch

to be a part of the revolution.

And then, once we do
the two-way tie thing,

then we think once we have to revote,

we will be able to get somebody to flip.

And somebody will flip, 'cause
they don't want to go to rocks.

Star is like, "would you
be open to go to rocks?"

And if any other people
were coming to me with this,

I would for sure be thinking about it.

But when it's star... it's the biggest

joke in this game.

She's all over the place,
and she literally just

wrote my name down
at the last tribal council.

- Yeah.

Like, every time you hear me quiet,

it's 'cause my tongue
just wants to, like...

And-and everybody that I know,

like, right when they
see her is gonna go...

God.

"No, they did not put
you with, like, the one."

Good lord.

I think the alliance running this game

is Joe, Eva, shauhin and Kyle.

I do 100% trust Kyle, but

I'm definitely not part of
the core alliance. I'm being

used as just a number.

Kamilla, did you want to sit?

I'm getting up here in a second.

I'm okay. I'm gonna sit in
the shelter. Sun's kind of...

Yeah, it's literally...

The sun's, like, blasting
my face right now.

Yeah.

That's not cool with me. It just feels like

they just want to take competitors

to the end, and I'm like,
"I'm not physical at all.

"So either I can sit
here and get picked off

or I can slip and go join
the people at the bottom."

With Joe out, everybody has
a fighting chance at that point.

As much as Mitch's
snoring is annoying as

I can deal with it if that
means that we all still have

- a fighting chance in this game.
- Yeah.

The thing is, me and Kyle are,
like, number ones in this game.

Nobody knows that.

He's always sharing
information to me, I'm sharing

whatever information I can with him.

So I told them,

me, Mary, star, Mitch, all vote out Joe

if he doesn't have the idol.

So, how would that go down?

Us four on Joe.

- It's gonna be four-four.
- Okay.

We vote, and then, one of you can flip

or, I told them all, you go to rocks.

Kamilla wants to take a shot at Joe,

who's a very good friend of mine.

I've shared things with Joe

that just go beyond this game.

You know, I've talked to Joe

about some of the
darkest times in my life.

And he's been there for me.

On top of that,

I have burned literally
every jury member to date.

So, this is where I'm drawing the line.

I'm done betraying people's trust.

Joe looks at you and
Mitch as a part of this group.

He wants shauhin, Eva, me, you,

- Mitch as a six.
- Okay.

A strong six that he wants to, like...

Like, this is it, you know, to the end.

I feel like if I go with that,

it's gonna be very hard for me to get...

To crack, like, final four.

I feel like they really trust
me, so I don't want to

I don't want to burn them
personally, but, like, you're.

I owe a lot to kamilla, who I've navigated

this game with, um, so gracefully.

And so, maybe I try my best to get her

at least a chance to take a shot at Joe.

I'm not gonna give her
the final number, but

I'll let her pull the trigger.

And if she misses, that's on her.

This is an incredibly
tricky part of the game,

because I am smack dab in the middle.

When you look at survivor,
you think that that's, like,

the perfect way to play, um, because,

you know, you have so many options.

- Kamilla's locked in on the six.
- Locked in on the six.

- Locked in on the six, and, like...
- Okay.

But you also need to think
about people's feelings.

Our season's been about
emotional connections.

And, I don't know if
strategy and backstabbing

and those sorts of traditional
survivor game moves

are what the jury's looking for.

All right, let's get to
today's reward challenge.

For today's challenge,

your feet are gonna be tied together.

Your arms are gonna be tied to your side.

On my go, you're gonna slither

through the sand like a
snake while using your mouth

to drag a buoy.

Once you reach the finish,

you'll maneuver that buoy
through a final obstacle

and then race to land
three rings on targets.

First person to finish wins reward.

Kyle is stuck now.

He'd had the lead, but now lost it.

Joe had a slow start,
but then picked it up,

tossing his first ring.

Start untying. Mitch, you're good.

Shauhin is gonna get in this now.

I am genuinely happy for

But every single decision
today was a strategy decision,

especially the people that I
did not choose for the reward.

I need Mitch, star and Mary

as pissed off as they can possibly be.

And that way, they might go with kamilla

so she has a chance to get rid of Joe.

I've kind of operated

and played this game with little pushes.

Everybody expects these big moves.

But I think survivor is a game

that's won in the margins.

And so, this is something I did

for kamilla to at least show

that I'm at least trying to help her.

It sucks not going, but

I knew when Kyle got
it that I wasn't gonna go.

No.

When my buddy Kyle didn't
take me on that food reward,

it kind of bothered me.
It kind of bothered me.

And I immediately told myself to shut up,

I'm being paranoid.

And I thought, maybe he's brilliant

in keeping me back here to babysit.

Because if he had
picked the alliance of four,

what would probably
happen is smart Mary

would be all over Mitch

and star, and that could be a problem.

Yeah, we can do it now.

But instead, this is an opportunity

for me to connect with people, 'cause

this game, to me, is about
relationships and numbers.

And if I can make it to the end,

I'm gonna need friends on the jury.

It sucks not eating.

And it sucks to lose David, but if he's

causing everyone to
feel paranoid and, like,

feel attacked, like, I completely get it.

I mean, it does leave
me feeling vulnerable.

Well, the narrative was, like,

that wasn't David, that was you.

You got a hold of David
and you were in his ear.

Yeah.

You've been running this whole thing.

The reason why he acted
like that was because of you.

And it was never David's
name without yours

on anything he did.

It never was like, "David did this."

It was like, "Mary and David."

"Mary and David, Mary and David."

Joe basically tells me

that David went home because of me,

that everybody thinks

that I got into David's
head and turned him.

And that everybody was
like, "Mary is this mastermind

and is manipulating David,"

which is ridiculous.

But at this point, everyone
thinks I'm the villain.

You can work relationships
and you're extremely social.

And you've had to,
like, survive all the tribals

and to watch out, and that's
why you linked up with him,

- 'cause he was easy to manipulate.
- My god.

- So, "why would Joe tell me that?"
- Yeah. Right.

My motivation is always
having as good as relationships

as you can with everybody.

Because who knows which
one of us will be on the jury next.

Clearly, I have a target on my back.

And Joe... he's doing jury management.

He is thinking he's gonna
vote me out and then

I'm gonna give him the million dollars,

because he was honest
with me, which is hilarious.

I'm being real right now in the moment.

Well, I so appreciate you telling me this.

But without a doubt, I'm in a bad way.

And my only chance at safety is

if this weird-ass motley crew
of me, kamilla, star and Mitch

if we can band together,
force them to go to rocks,

hopefully, they'll flip on each other.

Well, Mitch, are you

Because right now, you're
at the bottom of that alliance.

Or you could be at the top of the alliance

with me, kamilla and star.

I was hopeful that Kyle

today's immunity challenge.

First things first, Joe.

For today's challenge,
you're gonna use a rope

to balance a wobbly table
while stacking letter blocks.

If at any point your stack drops,

you got to start again.

First person to spell "immunity"

wins immunity, guaranteed
a spot in the final seven.

Losers, tribal council,

where somebody will be
the 11th person voted out,

fourth member of our jury.

There is one more thing.

Rice is on the table.

You know how this works.

There is a price for the rice.

Today, since there are only eight of you,

it would be three people,

have to sit out of this challenge,

give up your shot at individual immunity

to get enough rice for
the rest of the game.

I know you're hungry, Mitch.

Any interest in sitting out?

Absolutely not, Jeff.

I think, literally, we have seven

or so more days left.

So, I don't think any of us
are even going to question

sitting out today.

Wow. We don't have a deal.

Shauhin, what does it
say about the fact that

in survivor 41, when we did this

for the first time, people sat out?

Forty-two, they sat out.

Forty-three, they sat out.

It's only been the last couple of seasons

that this has started to shift.

Does it say something
about adaptation as a group?

You throw twists and turns
at us, the players are gonna

throw twists and turns right back at you.

Dude, we all want to compete, man.

We come out here, we want

the chance to wear that necklace.

You could have rice, beans, steak,

whatever, over there, and...

Go! First, you're gonna
race out with that first block.

There's nothing to balance,
so nothing to worry about.

But the minute you start
heading back, it's on.

You're using that rope

to figure out where that balance point is.

You're gonna keep stacking blocks

until you spell "immunity."
It's just that simple.

You've got to step up on
that platform with both feet.

Then you got to reach
back while keeping an eye

on your table to try to
find the next correct letter.

You are spelling "immunity"
but you're spelling it backwards.

Star the first to drop.
That's gonna happen.

That's how you learn where it is.

You got to pick up
everything and come back.

It's now Kyle trying to catch everybody.

the gas, moving quickly.

Joe, shauhin have taken
a different approach:

Slow and steady.

They've not dropped yet.

But Kyle's closing back in on them.

letter behind Joe right now.

That's the race.

But anything can
happen in this challenge.

You got to keep digging,
play your own game right now.

when you play it slow and steady.

Very conservative approach.

You really got to control your instincts

that want you to hurry a little bit.

And sometimes you got
to control your instincts

that want you to be too cautious,

and you do need to hurry a little bit.

That's the question.

"Which is right for me right now?

"Am I gonna play to not lose

or am I gonna try to steal this thing?"

Kyle and Joe getting back in this now.

It's shauhin still in the lead.

Then Mitch.

Shauhin continues to
take a very slow pace.

He's gonna force
somebody to catch him.

They're gonna have to
move faster than he's moving.

It's risky, but it can happen.

It's a risky move to be conservative, too,

but you got to make a
choice, you got to have

a point of view on survivor,
every day, even in a challenge.

"How am I gonna approach this?

What is my strategy?"

Shauhin playing a little
of "catch me if you can."

He does not want to risk the lead he has.

Shauhin is barely moving.

But when looking closely, I can see

he is actually moving.

And it's got him in the lead right now.

the entire challenge.

Mitch reaches for his seventh,

Star drops, has to start again.

Shauhin places his seventh block.

He's got one left to win immunity,

guaranteed a spot in the final seven.

up in a survivor challenge.

That does not mean this is over.

A couple of critical spots
in this challenge for Joe,

and he's at one of them...

without disrupting the stack.

You got to fuel whatever
you have in the tank.

You got to funnel that into concentration.

The immunity challenge
was very, very, very, very bad.

Joe won immunity, so,

at this point, we need a backup plan.

Something that shows the strong people,

"hey, we're not just
gonna bow down easy.

We're here to fight."

I don't know.

I don't know, star.

I need to have some
conversation with some people first.

Mitch told me that I need
to play my shot in the dark.

So my red flags
definitely started going up.

Unfortunately, when
you're starting and creating

or trying to do a revolution,

you have people who are scared, weak.

- You, fool.
- Okay.

- That's kind of what I figured.
- Because she can't go for Joe.

If you're not ready to
play the game of survivor,

and you just want to sit down

and let people pick you off,

then you're on the wrong show, baby,

'cause the whole point
of survivor is fighting

until you can stay alive,

and keep fighting for
the million-dollar prize.

I just don't trust them to actually do it.

And then the next two
gone are me and you.

For everyone sitting
at home who's saying,

"come on, Mitch, you
have to make a move,

you have to make a move,"

you can't make moves
with people you don't trust.

And I don't trust Mary or star.

I think me and you hang tight at six.

As much as I want to make a move here,

I just can't do it.

Mitch is the kind of player

who wants to play it safe
here, which sucks because

if Mitch doesn't trust star
and Mitch doesn't trust Mary,

then we don't have the numbers
and we can't make this move.

- But if we send her home, then...

It's, like, we definitely last one more day

or we maybe make it to the end.

I think they wouldn't go to rocks for Kyle.

I really have zero faith in her.
She's burned everyone here.

I just don't trust her.

And so I kind of need to throw Mary

under the bus to ensure
she goes home tonight.

She changed the target,
like, so many times.

She's went from, okay, you.

Mary's telling me, "let's do Kyle instead."

- All within the last hour?
- Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

What the hell? So they don't

that kamilla and Mitch are
not working with me and star.

But what is going on back at camp?

There's only eight people left.

I think all of us are trying to figure out

how do we, individually,
but also, as small groups,

continue to move forward in this game.

Mary, interesting choice of words.

How do you individually move
forward with small groups?

Well, sometimes I feel like

it's me against the group.
But then other times,

maybe I'm in a smaller group,

but there are people in that
group who are in a larger group.

I'm like, "god dang it, is
that group really real, or are

some of the people in that
group actually against each other?"

So, it's just a doozy.

Shauhin, the other thing

that we can never say enough is

when you watch survivor at
home, you have more information.

How do you navigate that
and still find some trust?

If you operate from a place of trust,

that is probably your best way forward.

Because if you operate
from a place of paranoia,

then the one thing you're establishing

is that you can't be trusted.

Star, are you playing
from trust or paranoia?

Me, personally, I don't get
paranoid in this game, uncle jp.

That's just me. What I got to say

regarding everything is, like,
earlier today, Mitch was like,

"girl, you need to play
your shot in the dark."

And you know what? Respectfully
to Mitch, he didn't stutter.

Then you got to say, like,
"man, maybe this man is serious."

But I'm chilling. So even
then, I wasn't paranoid,

because everything can
flip, anything can happen,

and as long as you have
hope before you snuff my torch,

I'm-a keep the faith.

Kyle, what do you make of star's

approach to the game?
Because she just said,

"I was told to play the shot in the dark.

"I don't listen to that.

I follow my own compass, my own gut."

Yeah, I mean, two things.

The first thing is, star is so confident.

I mean, whenever I feel
like I'm talking to star,

I feel like I'm talking to the godfather.

I just love the way that
star approaches the game.

She definitely has faith, and
she definitely exudes that.

Um, the next thing is...

But I love that you forgot,
because it's a great reminder

that it really is hard to hold a thought.

It's a constant just whirlwind,

Joe, of all these things swirling,

because star's got people
saying, "play shot in the dark,".

Mary's trying to figure
out who she can trust,

shauhin's saying, "well, you
got to trust, but if you don't,

you're paranoid and if you're
paranoid, you might be out."

So, Joe, where do you leap
into that little merry-go-round

and get on the ride?

Well, Jeff, you could analyze
this a thousand different ways

and say, "can I trust them? Can I not?"

But at the end of the day,
if you want to follow trust,

then you got to be all in.

If you're gonna try to do it by yourself,

then try to do it by yourself.

But either way, you got to be confident

in that decision and then ride it.

So Mary, the theme seems to be,

trust or paranoia.
Which side are you on?

I'm on trust. Paranoia has gotten people

who are not on the bottom kicked out.

If you want to be suspicious,
if you want to be discerning,

if you want to listen to your intuition,

that's fine. But paranoia

I don't have time for
paranoia in this game.

- How about for you, kamilla?
- I don't want to speak for anyone,

but I feel like everyone's playing

from a place of trust here, and like,

at least for me, I'm, like,
trying to take care of my brain.

I don't want it to get
paranoid. I feel like paranoia

in my brain looks like cobwebs,
and it's all dark in there.

And I'm, like, taking a little brush

and making sure there's no paranoia

and trying to keep my brain clean.

Um, that's how I'm
playing the game right now.

Eva, did you notice
any of this happening?

Was it paranoia? Was it very calm,

- despite a big vote coming?
- Yeah.

I think we knew what we were doing.

I think that everyone's going
to do what we had discussed,

and there isn't a bunch
of crazy stuff going on.

It's just, we're like,
"yep, next one's going.

So, shauhin, you're voting someone out,

but you're also leaving
other people in the game.

So, it's always risky who you leave in,

- just as risky as who you take out.

It becomes a delicate balance between

who's going to threaten your
actual game of you getting

to the final three. And then

who's going to threaten your ability to win

if you are at the final three with them.

If anyone says they're not thinking about

who can they sit next to
the final three, they're lying.

Like, we're very late into the game,

so, it is something that
you have to kind of balance.

Mary, how big a
consideration is it for you,

who you leave in, not
just who you send home?

I feel like I'm going home tonight,

so I'm not even thinking about that.

I'm thinking, can I make it to tomorrow?

If you feel like you're on the bottom,

what was your pitch today?

My pitch today was, I'm pretty chill.

I, don't cause a lot of chaos.

I'm trustworthy, and you

line and feeling, maybe,

"I'm one of the people
being talked about,"

did you go to other people and say,

"hey, instead of me,
why don't we do this?"

Well, me, personally,

once again, the name of the
game is never get paranoid.

And honestly, when you go to the person

like, "hey, do you have
my name on your mind,

is my name on your mind,"

that's the first sense of paranoia.

So, I laid back, I talked to some folks,

but it was never about
strategy. It was either

about the 1998 buick,

and/or, "hey, I heard that you
said my name." And it's like,

"hell yeah, I said your name."

There's nothing to lie
about when it comes

to somebody asking you
a straightforward question.

And that's the person that
I am. I stand on business.

That's how I always been
and that's what I always will do.

Okay, let me ask this
question a little differently.

If you were told by everybody,
"we are writing your name down,

"you should play your shot
in the dark," would you play it

or are you saying, "that's not an element

of the game I want, is
my shot in the dark"?

If somebody tell me,

of course, all those things
will consider in my mind,

and I will possibly
maybe do it or maybe not.

I really won't know what I'm gonna do.

But all I know is until
uncle jp snuffs your torch,

you got to do all you can,

because in the game of survivor,

when your brain can't operate,
your gut will never fail you.
