They don't seem to be doing anything suspicious.

They both seem nice.

You're too judgmental.

How dare you call me judgmental!

- Hey, wait! - Forget about our agreement!

There's this program in the US.

It can stop the progression of your disease.

So, US, huh?

You'll stay there for a year for therapy and follow-up.

One year?

Miguel Tecson, you're under arrest

for the murder of Jake dela Cuesta.

Go back to Mickey.

Keep an eye on him.

You're out of your mind!

Take care of Mickey, Christine!

We need the money, okay?

Because if we fail to get it back,

we'll get in trouble with our bosses.

Go to his ex-wife's house.

We have a new contract for your group.

Kenji Lee.

He murdered Benicio Avila, a prominent senator.

This is for our country.

[theme music playing]

[birds chirping]

Coffee?

Oh.

- Black, right? - Yeah.

Thank you.

[footsteps approaching]

- It's good. - [Gab] Hello!

Contractor's coffee is amazing.

[footsteps approaching]

Hey. What's up?

Is there coffee left?

- Check over there. - [footsteps approaching]

- [Tomas] You didn't make one for me? - [Andres] How's everyone?

- Hi! We're good. - Hi, bro.

[Andres] Where's Miguel?

- [Tomas] I don't know. He's never late. - [Max] Yeah.

[JB] He's probably on his way here.

I'll call him.

[Tomas] Drinking coffee, this seems nice.

[busy tone]

- It's good. - [Tomas] I bet.

His phone is off.

- What? - Oh my.

I've been trying to call him…

- Sir. - …but I couldn't reach him.

[Tomas] Does this mean he won't join our mission?

We can try again later and see if we can contact him.

For now, let's just start the briefing.

[stirring music playing]

[chair scrapes]

- [Tomas] I guess no coffee for me. - [Andres huffs]

[Tomas clears throat]

[Tomas clears throat]

[chairs scrape]

This is Kenji Lee, a highly-trained assassin.

- [stirring music continues] - [trilling]

[Greg] Born in China, educated in the Philippines.

He is highly efficient.

And a ghost…

Until now.

[Tomas exhales sharply]

[stirring music continues]

[Greg] He took on a contract.

The contract was to eliminate Benicio Avila.

- [stirring music continues] - [trilling]

The presidentiable, Benicio Avila.

It was Kenji who killed him?

Yes.

So, Kenji is a jerk.

As we all know,

Benicio Avila was a key player in the upcoming elections.

[stirring music continues]

Once Kenji accomplished his mission…

he just vanished.

[stirring music intensifies]

[luggage wheels rolling]

[stirring music continues]

[stirring music fades]

[dramatic drums bang]

[birds chirping in distance]

[dramatic drums bang]

He was last seen…

…in Kaigen.

[trilling]

[suspenseful music playing]

Kaigen? Isn't that another country?

Wow, he's good at hiding,

but I'll take him down.

[Tomas chuckles]

No.

We need him alive.

We need to know who ordered him to kill Benicio Avila.

That is only, if we capture him alive,

along with the information he has.

We're not just going to face one killer.

I'm sure a huge organization is behind this.

[suspenseful music continues]

That's why this is a capture mission.

Again, we need him alive.

- Yes, sir. - [Max] Yes, sir.

[suspenseful music builds]

[cup clinks]

[suspenseful music fades]

[trilling]

[trickling continues]

[in Japanese] In this life,

we carry blood on our hands.

But water doesn't judge.

It just flows.

That's why I like it here.

[trickling continues]

[hurried footsteps approach]

[man] Please forgive me.

[ominous music playing]

The target escaped.

You disappoint me!

Kenji's head carries a price too great to ignore.

We collect not for greed, but for blood.

Bring me his corpse!

Yes, sir.

[ominous music builds]

[in Filipino] We're filing for bail, Miguel.

The evidence they have against you is weak.

But it will be a long process.

[inhales deeply, sighs]

[unsettling music playing]

[clicks]

[unsettling music continues]

I knew it.

They have the money.

Seriously though, where's Miguel?

I miss the guy already.

What happened to him?

[Gab] Nosy much?

Why? At least I'm concerned about him.

Right?

Or maybe you want me to miss you instead…

Maybe he just wants to spend some quality time with his kid.

Whatever it is, I'm sure he has a valid reason.

[birds chirping]

Attorney…

Get me out of here ASAP.

Didn't you hear what I said?

I will, Miguel.

But there's a process we follow.

Attorney, I need your phone.

I just need to call someone.

[stirring music playing]

Here.

[keypad beeping]

[line ringing]

Hello, sir.

I need your help.

[stirring music continues]

[footsteps approaching]

Team, I have an update regarding Miguel.

[dramatic music playing]

He won't be joining this mission.

Why?

For personal reasons.

[dramatic music continues]

[dramatic music intensifies]

[dramatic music crescendos]

Oh, so that was you?

What?

The supposedly silent infiltrator to the server

that triggered the alarm within the first five minutes.

Hey, that wasn't me. That was the damn firewall.

That's what triggered the fail-safe protocol, remember?

[diners chatter indistinctly]

But, you know what, Max?

Our team wasn't perfect,

but you were the best CyberOps I ever worked with.

You know what, Enzo?

That's just your nostalgia talking.

I'm sure there are plenty who are better than me.

Hmm…

Actually, no.

I've seen you work.

So, I spoke to some people.

- Okay… - Your case?

It's being looked into.

Are you serious, Enzo?

Max, look. There's still a way.

Remember Paolo del Mundo?

Yeah, I remember Pao.

What about him?

He's part of the review board now.

- It can be convened. - [suspenseful music playing]

We just need someone who's high up to push it.

Wait.

So, Enzo, you're telling me…

there's a possibility I can be reinstated?

[suspenseful music crescendos]

[Mariano] Miguel Tecson?

That's a tricky case.

I know. That's why I'm here, sir.

For now, he's filing for bail.

We're hoping you can speed up the process.

I can make some calls.

But I'll only do this because you asked.

Thank you, sir.

- Um… - [diners chatter indistinctly]

Just a possibility.

No promises, though. Okay?

[pensive music playing]

But Max, if this pushes through, you need to prepare.

Because it can be dirty.

They'll dig everything up,

including what you and Sevi went through.

[pensive music turns foreboding]

Let them.

I'm not hiding anything from them.

[foreboding music crescendos]

[Tomas grunts]

[insects chirping]

Ugh.

[footsteps approaching]

Hey, Gabriela. Are you still mad at me?

Wow!

You're still mad at me

- even though you haven't paid me yet? - Here. Take this. Are we good?

Here's my payment.

- Are we good? We good? - We're good.

We're good.

- What? - Please, Tomas. Let's not talk about it.

- You mean your stepmother? - I just told you!

Fine. We won't talk about your stepmother anymore.

- I'll hit you! - Fine, I'm sorry!

- You're so annoying! - I'm sorry. Okay?

I'm sorry. Are you mad at me?

At your screw-ups, yes. And you?

- Sorry! - I'm mad at you forever.

So you are still mad at me.

I don't get you!

You're so arrogant paying me back.

[door clangs, squeaks]

[keys jingling]

Dad.

[chair creaks]

- [bag rustles] - I brought your favorites.

[bag rustling]

And medicine, too.

I brought extra, just in case.

[bag rustling]

You're taking them. Right, Dad?

Dad…

I'll be gone for a while.

[pensive music playing]

But I already told Madel…

to visit you often.

It's getting harder, JB.

Dad…

[pensive music continues]

I'll find a way.

I'll get you out of here.

Just stay strong for me, please.

I know you will.

But I don't know how much longer I can.

[pensive music continues]

[Antonio sighs]

[JB breathes deeply]

[pensive music continues]

[JB breathes sharply]

[pensive music continues]

What's up with Migs? Is he okay?

- [thuds] - [screams]

- Mommy! - Stop resisting!

- [blow lands] - [screams]

- [grunts] - [gunshot]

No wonder Kenji chose to hide here.

It's far away, and the town of Kaigen is small.

There are often snowstorms here, too.

It's hard to get in, and hard to get out.

Also, the police force is limited.

He has a higher chance to survive.

That's why we need to capture Kenji Lee as soon as possible.

That's easy. Kenji's alone, and there are six of us.

- He doesn't stand a chance. - [screams]

- Sir, he's getting attacked. - Noah, do we engage?

- [thudding] - [grunts]

Let's go.
