[Episode 39]

Chong Guang.

I didn't expect you to be so incompetent.

It seems that I have

to take care of the rest.

Father.

Ce.

Don't you go to the Sword Pavilion every night

to worship the past Sword Lords?

Why are you here?

Inside this giant tripod,

what is it?

Ce.

Come here.

Come here.

Ce.

At this point,

there are some things that I don't want to hide from you anymore.

Now,

I want to achieve something great.

If it succeeds,

you and I

can dominate the three realms.

I thought

to use the Demon Lord Chong Guang to attack Buzhou Mountain

and use Mo Xiao

to break the seal of the Celestial Edict.

But I didn't expect

Chong Guang to be so incompetent.

Now the Demonic Edict has been destroyed,

and I can no longer control Mo Xiao.

So I have to

deal with something myself.

Father,

as the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect, you are betraying the sect.

It'd ruin the reputation of Shushan Sect.

Moreover,

Buzhou Mountain has disciples who have set up formations

and seals personally placed by the Sword Lord Fengyue.

How could you possibly succeed?

Father,

don't dream about it.

Give up.

Ce.

It's because

I am now the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect,

I have to

deal with something myself.

I must break this seal of the Fengyue Sword.

Father,

stop being stubborn.

It's still not too late.

I will accompany you

to the Sword Pavilion to plead,

the heads will surely show mercy.

Ce!

I never thought you would be so naive.

Do you think I

would kneel before others to plead?

When I succeed,

they will be the ones to kneel and beg.

Understand?

Father,

I won't let you go,

unless you kill me.

Let go of me.

Let go of me!

You child!

You are really rebellious.

Don't blame me for showing no mercy.

Father.

I never thought

you would be so useless.

Father.

Father, don't go.

Father.

Father.

I beg you, Father.

Father.

Lingyun.

Lingyun.

You are finally awake.

What takes you so long?

Do you know how much suffering

I have endured?

Jing, sorry

for making you worried.

Now,

I am perfectly fine.

I…

I should go tell

Master Xuan Zhen and Master Xie.

They will definitely be very happy.

Jing, you said that Lingyun has woken up?

How is he?

Lingyun.

You are finally awake.

Are you feeling hungry?

What do you want to eat?

I will get the kitchen to make it for you.

Father, I'm fine.

Well,

don't rush.

Let's give him some time.

Okay.

Ce.

Go stop him.

Father is going to Buzhou Mountain

to seize the Celestial Edict.

What?

I did not expect

that he could be that ruthless.

He killed Senior Brother Yuan,

forced Mo Xiao to leave,

and even hurt

his own son.

I didn't expect that during the time I was unconscious,

so many things happened.

Master Murong.

Masters,

Father has gone mad.

He's not tuning back.

The most critical thing right now is

to expose his plot in front of all the immortal sects.

Otherwise, the immortal sects will be

used by him.

He might

have many more disciples of the immortal sects die in vain.

You're right.

This concerns the Celestial Edict.

Whether he colludes with the Demonic Sect,

or falls out with the Demonic Sect,

now, all the immortal sects

are still deceived by him.

If he uses his position as the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect

to his advantage,

the consequences will be unimaginable.

But he is still the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect

and the head of all the immortal sects.

How could we

make the immortal sects trust us?

I have an idea.

Token?

Why is it in your hands?

Mo Xiao gave it to me.

Take this back.

If Master Murong

takes any actions harm the Shushan Sect,

give it to Master Xie

and let him use the rules of Shushan Sect

to immediately depose Master Murong from his position as the Sect Leader.

Senior Brother Yuan died with grievances

and had a thorough plan.

Mo Xiao is not in the Shushan Sect now,

but we must protect the Shushan Sect

and

the Celestial Edict well.

Ni Huang!

Ni Huang.

Ni…

Ni Huang.

Why did I suddenly call out this name?

Bai Yan.

Ni Huang.

Lixue.

Why did you go out so early in the morning?

There are many things to prepare,

so I went to the nearby market

to buy some things.

What did you buy?

How about this?

Go catch two fish for me,

I will get you a surprise.

What surprise?

Just go, you'll know when you come back.

Okay.

Master needs to be served different teas three times a day.

In the morning, prepare White Jade Nectar Tea.

After the afternoon nap, prepare Yunshan Shoumei Tea

to clear heat and eliminate toxins.

The War God has sealed the Celestial Edict for a thousand years.

Finally, he has awakened and returned.

What an auspicious sign for the three realms.

For the three realms, Bai Yan,

you have achieved great merit.

My name is Ni Huang.

I passed away for a loved one.

I heard

the Whit Spirit Fan can bring me here

and gather my soul essence.

Hualang.

Master.

Investigate

who Bai Yan

and Ni Huang are.

Why did you suddenly mention these two names?

Somehow,

since coming out of the Demonic Abyss,

I have memories from someone,

constantly mentioning these two names.

But whenever I concentrate and think,

I'd be suffering.

Master.

You have finally awakened your celestial spirit.

What?

Bai Yan is your name in the Gods Realm.

You are the renowned War God in the Gods Realm,

War God Bai Yan.

War God

Bai Yan?

So,

in this life,

Lixue is Ni Huang?

Lixue is Ni Huang.

I used the Dragon Pearl

to cover your True Fire spiritual breath

and make you fall from the Immortal Platform,

becoming a human.

Since then,

no one in the three realms could find you,

except me.

In this life,

I have finally found you.

♫ In the wind and rain, I saw the loneliness in your eyes ♫

♫ We met in the evening while the wind came along ♫

♫ New lyrics to old tunes, memories have never gone ♫

♫ All have come into my heart ♫

♫ Looking at the morning sun, I feel down ♫

♫ Thinking of the herons, I feel distressed ♫

♫ In the blink of an eye, the leaves have fallen ♫

This serves as proof.

We are officially married.

From now on,

you are not the Young Lord of Tianmo Sect,

nor are you the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect.

♫ Carving the thoughts of love in the heart ♫

You are my husband.

Mother.

How is it?

Any news from Mo Xiao?

He asked Hualang to send you a secret letter sent.

Unexpectedly, Chong Guang

had set up such a big plan in the Shushan Sect.

Still no news from the Tranquility Palace?

The Demonic Edict has been destroyed.

This is also a huge blow to Chong Guang.

After Lixue jumped into the Demonic Abyss,

he's suffered from the backlash of the Ice Cicada,

so he is still in seclusion.

Mother.

What should we do now?

Star Lord Xu Yuan.

Long time no see.

Do you still remember me?

Star Lord Ji,

sorry for making you suffer here for days.

I am

here to pick you up.

To pick me up?

Did Chong Guang send you here?

At that time, you were

sent into the Demonic Prison by Chong Guang,

I told you

to wait.

When the time is right,

I will come to pick you up.

So,

the time has come?

Yes.

You found your son?

You and I have met him before.

He is the successor of the Sword Lord Fengyue,

Mo Xiao.

He was in the Shushan Sect?

Well,

does Yuan Beichen know

he is the son of Ye Yuan?

He raised the son of Ye Yuan.

He raised the Young Lord of Tianmo Sect.

I came here

to give you something.

It was Mo Xiao's master who asked him to deliver it to you.

Dark Soul Whip?

He made it?

He let Mo Xiao bring it to me?

Did he come to Suyu Mountain?

He…

He has gone.

This is what he left for you.

He has gone?

He committed suicide

in the Shushan Sect.

He's dead?

Because the identity

of Mo Xiao as the son of Ye Yuan got revealed,

the immortal sects

regarded him as a demon.

He couldn't bear the humiliation

and committed suicide to atone.

No.

No way.

How can he…

He hasn't apologized to me yet.

He hasn't admitted he was wrong yet.

How can he die?

How can he die?

How can he die?

He destroyed your Dark Soul Whip,

and left a new one for you.

That's already his apology for you.

Star Lord Ji,

you should let go.

Now in this world,

it is hard to tell right and wrong.

Star Lord Ji, don't be too sad.

Come with me.

We have more important things to do.

Master.

You asked me to come,

are you going to activate the Celestial Edict yourself?

The Demonic Edict has been destroyed,

and Chong Guang is already useless.

As long as we lure Mo Xiao here,

I can seize the Celestial Edict.

Master.

Chong Guang is only in seclusion recuperating.

If he realizes

you went to seize the Celestial Edict,

he will definitely rush to Buzhou Mountain.

Adding Mo Xiao,

it is really dangerous for you to fight two, why not…

What?

You cannot

achieve great things being so timid.

Now,

for Feng Lixue, Mo Xiao

even quitted being the Demon Lord

and escaped from Suyu Mountain.

And inside Chong Guang,

there is the Ice Cicada,

which is linked to Feng Lixue's life.

Now as long as we have Feng Lixue,

they both will certainly be at my disposal.

Understand?

Take her

to hide.

Xie,

Xuan Zhen.

Why are you here?

Master Qing Yang and Master Qing Xu.

It seems

you have already heard the news

about Chong Guang's attempt to seize the Celestial Edict, right?

Murong Changfeng.

Stop acting.

As the Young Leader of the Shushan Sect,

you have harmed the disciples of the immortal sect,

poisoned the Sect Leader,

and forced away Mo Xiao, the successor to the Fengyue Sword.

Now,

you have even betrayed the immortal sects

and wanted to seize the Celestial Edict.

All your numerous crimes have been confirmed.

Today, all the heads of the immortal sects

are here as witnesses.

I will personally escort you back to the Shushan Sect

to make you atone for your sins before the past Sword Lords.

Xie,

numerous crimes?

What are you talking about?

I have heard

the news that the Tianmo Sect is planning

to seize the Celestial Edict again.

And I am here at Buzhou Mountain to reinforce the seal.

Isn't this what I should do,

as the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect?

Today,

in front of all the heads of the immortal sects

and disciples,

why are you slandering me?

Ce!

Ling Xiang.

Do you recognize him?

Tell everyone here,

is he your master who made you

a Shadow Assassin?

Murong Ce.

What are you talking about?

Are you trying to incite someone

to slander your father?

Father,

back then, I traveled with you down the mountain.

We once saved a pair of orphan siblings.

You told me

that they had been sent to a wealthy family for adoption.

But years later,

I saw Ling Xiang become a Shadow Assassin.

About this matter,

how do you explain it?

What are you talking about?

What orphan?

Ling Xiang,

don't you get it?

He has been using you all along.

Ling Xiang.

Ling Xiang.

Ling Xiang.

Ming.

You are Ming?

Ming.

Ling Xiang.

Ling Xiang.

The master said

to send you to a wealthy family in the southern border.

Why are you here?

Didn't you go to the north border as a lieutenant in Li Country?

Why are you here?

So you have been lying to us all along.

You kept telling me that he was doing well,

had no worries about living and with a bright future.

That's why I was willing to serve you wholeheartedly.

So,

you just used us

and treated us as your pawns.

Without me,

you two orphans wouldn't have survived until today.

As the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect,

how dare you have been raising Shadow Assassins,

causing havoc in Fengdu City,

harming disciples of the immortal sects,

and colluding with the Demonic Sect

to poison the Sect Leader

with the Rootless Flower.

Any one of these crimes

could send you to the Tielv Prison

and be thrown into the Demon Subduing Palace.

Today,

with the Sect Leader's Token,

I hereby pass down the previous Sect Leader's instruction,

to depose Murong Changfeng

from the position of the Sect Leader of Shushan Sect.

Immediately escort him back to the Shushan Sect for punishment.

You?

Two insignificant people.

Let me tell you,

Shushan Sect is mine.

The Shushan Sect

can only thrive with me.

You

can't even touch me.

Father, just admit it.

For me and Ce.

- I am begging you. - Jing.

Murong Changfeng.

Stop being stubborn.

Otherwise, don't blame us for being rude.

Ling Xiang.

Murong Changfeng has already mastered demonic techniques.

Everyone, go get him!

Mysterious demonic power?

I didn't expect Murong Changfeng has already been demonized.

Ling Xiang.

Ling Xiang.

Ling Xiang.

- Ling Xiang. - Ming.

Ling Xiang.

Ling Xiang.

Xuan Zhen,

Master Qing Yang, Master Qing Xu.

Didn't expect

Murong Changfeng has mastered

the mysterious demonic power from the Celestial Edict.

Then,

what should we do?

Mo Xiao.

I misunderstood you before.

I'm sorry.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

You came one step late.

We couldn't stop him.

And he broke into Buzhou Mountain.

If there is any disturbance in Buzhou Mountain,

all the demons in the world will certainly take advantage of the chaos.

So,

please

return to your sects

and guard well.

Leave this to me.

Jing, Lingyun, Murong Ce.

You come with me to Buzhou Mountain

to reinforce the seal of the Celestial Edict

and subdue Murong Changfeng.

Mo Xiao.

Please guard the Celestial Edict

well.

We have been deceived by traitors,

and didn't understand the kind intentions of Sword Lord Fengyue and Sect Leader Yuan,

making you suffer injustice.

Today, we face difficulty.

We hope you won't hold a grudge

and remember the kindness from your late master

to guard the Celestial Edict for the immortal sects.

Such an important task,

we

leave it to you.

Immortals, don't be.

Guarding the Celestial Edict is a trust from my late master.

I pledge to achieve it till death.

But if

any further action from the Demonic Sect…

Master Xuan Zhen.

I have

my own arrangements.

Today,

Star Lord Ji, me

and Elder Minghuang gather you all here

to announce something.

Demon Lord Chong Guang

has been determined to seize the Celestial Edict for years,

ignoring the danger to our Tianmo Sect.

My son, Mo Xiao,

and Star Lord Shaohao, Feng Lixue,

to stop Chong Guang's plot,

they jumped into the Demonic Abyss

in order to destroy the Demonic Edict.

Mo Xiao knows he's unfit for the heavy duty of the Lord of Tianmo Sect.

He asked me to tell you

that without the Demonic Edict, the Tianmo Sect

still has countless followers.

We'll have talents

to protect the peace of our sect.

But please,

safeguard our own land.

Don't be used by others' ambitions.

Young Lord Mo Xiao

has seen through Chong Guang's plot.

He just wants to use the power of 100,000 demon soldiers from Tianmo Sect

to attack Buzhou Mountain

and help him seize the Celestial Edict.

Now his plot is destroyed,

and he'll certainly make his final struggle.

There will be upheaval at Buzhou Mountain.

But the Tianmo Sect will not participate in it.

Everyone,

you should recognize

that our Demonic Clan

have brought ourselves devastating disasters

because of the ambitions from the Lord.

Today,

the Young Lord warns us about it.

And we should learn from history

keep to our duties,

and wait for a peerless talent

to revive the Tianmo Sect.

Since the elder and two Star Lords have said so,

then we

will comply.

Keep our homeland safe.

Revive the Tianmo Sect.

Keep our homeland safe.

Revive the Tianmo Sect.

Lord.

Lord.

Murong Changfeng has kidnapped Feng Lixue

and went to Buzhou Mountain

to seize the Celestial Edict.

Lixue.

Mo Xiao.

The woman you love

is now in my hands.

Can we two

have a good talk now?

What do you want?

Among the three seals of the Abyss of Infinity,

I have already broken two of them.

As for the third seal,

it requires your Fengyue Sword.

Well,

you help me break this third seal,

and I will return Feng Lixue to you

unharmed.

Master Murong.

Once the seal is broken,

you will have no way out.

With the Celestial Edict,

I can reshape the three realms

and set the rules.

Fool.

I don't need a way out.

Mo Xiao.

Save Lixue.

Ni Huang.

You are the Fire Phoenix who forged the Celestial Edict.

Once the seal of the Celestial Edict is broken,

your true form

will be discovered by the three realms.

By then,

I won't have a second Dragon Pearl

to protect you.

I agree.

I will go and break the seal now.

Lingyun, Jing, Murong Ce.

You stay here and guard me.

Well, Mo Xiao.

You're fooling me again.

Move aside.

Master Murong.

If you stop now,

at most you will just receive

the punishment of the Tielv Prison and the Demon Subduing Palace.

You can still regain your cultivation.

But if you insist on getting the Celestial Edict,

you'll have no way back.

Just you three kids,

don't try to scare me here.

Father.

Even a tiger won't kill its cubs.

For the Celestial Edict,

can you even kill Jing and me?

Then,

can a son kill his father?

I am your father.

I gave both of you life.

But now you are helping outsiders to fight against me.

Alright.

Father.

From today on,

Jing and I

will sever all ties with you.

I have no time for you.

Mo Xiao.

If you dare to act reckless again,

I will turn her into ashes.

Murong Changfeng.

How dare you covet the Celestial Edict?

Chong Guang.

You finally came.

It's nice to have ambitions.

And you are quite smart

to place Chang Ming by my side

to steal my Eternal Blood to refine the demonic power.

But you're foolish.

Do you think

having my mysterious demonic power

can you get the Celestial Edict?

Yes.

If only relying on my mysterious demonic power,

I don't have confidence to win.

But fortunately,

I have her.

Feng Lixue

can not only hold back Mo Xiao,

but also you.

The Ice Cicada inside you two share the live and death together.

And I'm holding your life and death in my hands.

Ice Cicada?

Chong Guang repeatedly let go of Lixue

because of the Ice Cicada?

In this case,

with Chong Guang around,

Lixue is temporarily safe.

Although you can live forever,

rebuilding a mortal body would take

at least a hundred years.

By then, my mysterious demonic power

will be integrated with the Celestial Edict.

I will be the true owner of the Celestial Edict.

You've pissed me off.

Mysterious demonic power?

Mysterious demonic power comes from the Celestial Edict.

Could it affect the seal on the Celestial Edict?
