[Episode 34]

I knew you weren't dead,

why won't you wake up?

See? It's a breath of resentment

blocking in your chest.

Mo Xiao.

You can completely unblock your meridians yourself,

but you insist on not moving like a dead person.

You're seeking death.

I knew it.

You want to ask

where this place is

and why I am here.

Right? This is a long story.

Your Shushan Sect

has undergone such a major change,

and everyone knows it.

Now both the demonic sects

and immortal sects are looking for you.

They didn't expect

that I found you first.

And,

I've already sealed your spiritual power and demonic power.

For the time being,

they won't find you.

Why did you save me?

You shouldn't have saved me.

Whether you should be saved or not

is my call.

Now,

you

owe me.

From today,

you just behave

and heal your wounds in here.

They

cannot

find this place.

You are my son.

Mo Xiao, you are not a demon.

If he were not the demon child,

how could I possibly activate three sacred stones?

He

is the demon child.

Demon?

I have been practicing for 18 years,

only to discover that I am the demon.

Even I want to kill myself,

yet you saved me.

Ridiculous.

Ridiculous.

Mo Xiao.

Where are you going?

He is out.

You

fear of me?

You fear of me?

Then come fight me.

Kill me,

then you are upholding justice.

See the demonic mark on my forehead?

I am a demon.

Kill me, then you will gain merit.

Each one of you will.

Kill me. Hit me. Kill me.

I won't fight back.

Do it.

Do it.

Hit me. Kill me.

I won't fight back. Do it.

Is he crazy?

Why don't you do it?

What are you waiting for?

Do you know who I am?

I am a demon.

I am the son of Demon Lord.

Kill me, you will gain merit.

You will gain immense merit.

What are you waiting for?

Come on!

What are you doing?

Is it fun to bully a patient?

Hammer,

you are already this old.

Why are you still behaving so poorly?

Without saying anything,

attack him with the Snake Staff?

You've been the chief for years,

yet you haven't improved at all.

Elder Wuxin,

haven't seen you for years,

why have you suddenly come back?

Don't call me Elder.

I'm no longer Elder.

I am now the Divine Physician Shi Bujiu.

I have a patient,

coming to your fishing village.

To treat him,

I had to come back.

Hammer,

don't think I came back to see you.

I don't want to see you

at all.

It's him.

I was about to cure him,

but your attack just now

nearly beat him to death again.

You have to take responsibility for this.

He's just a person seeking death,

what's the point of saving him, Elder Wuxin?

I told you, don't call me Elder.

Moreover,

I want

to save him.

Whether he lives or dies is up to him.

Anyway, I have plenty of ways

to save him.

Elder.

Divine Physician.

What?

I will call you Elder.

Elder. Elder.

Elder Wuxin.

You know,

we never keep people of unknown origin.

I can sense the demonic power in him.

We cannot keep him.

What?

You cannot keep him?

Hammer,

the Lishui River is running fast,

but he happened to drift into here.

This is a fate,

yet you don't keep him?

No.

Hammer,

don't you want to know

who he is?

He's just a person seeking death.

I don't care who he is.

In the end, he'd be just a dead man.

What are you waiting for?

Throw him out of here.

- Okay. - Come on.

Hammer,

don't try to show your power here.

Let me remind you.

Back then, when you were catching fish in the river with your bare bottom,

and your father chased you around with a stick,

I covered for you.

Now you've become the chief,

and no longer take me seriously?

Where are you taking him to?

Lord.

This is…

The wedding attire for my grand ceremony with Feng Lixue.

How is it?

Grand wedding?

That day on the Ancestor Hall,

I once proclaimed to the public

Lixue is my Demon Queen.

I still owe her a grand wedding ceremony.

Lord, didn't you say you'd hold a grand wedding for the Demon Queen

when the Demonic Edict is activated

and we summon 100,000 demon soldiers?

Mo Xiao is missing,

and the Demonic Edict cannot be activated for now.

My grand wedding ceremony

cannot be delayed again and again.

Your grand wedding ceremony

is always

a world-renowned celebration for the Tianmo Sect.

However, Lord,

the four heads of the Seven Caves and Nine Netherworlds are here.

I'm afraid

we need to deal with them first.

Where are they?

Right outside.

The Demonic Edict couldn't be activated.

And Ye Yuan's son

has occurred on the Shushan Sect.

They naturally can't sit still.

But I didn't expect them to come so quickly.

Shall we see them?

Yes,

of course.

You four heads

have suddenly paid us a visit today,

presumably

you've heard the rumors about the Ye Yuan's son.

You're wise.

We have indeed come for this.

Ever since we heard that the Ye Yuan's son is still alive

and he is the new Sect Leader of Shushan Sect, Mo Xiao,

we have all been shocked.

We have also heard

that Mo Xiao was cast into the underground river by Shushan Sect

and is missing.

Now, the Shushan Sect

is searching for Mo Xiao.

The other day,

we received a secret letter from Star Lord Xu Yuan,

inviting us to join in the search for Ye Yuan's son.

We, the Seven Caves and Nine Netherworlds,

do not know what to do now.

Lord, please give us some suggestion.

Cut the crap.

You are here to ask me

whether you should search for Ye Yuan's son.

We

have always served the Demonic Clan

and follow the command of Demonic Edict.

Yet on that day at the Ancestor Hall,

you did not activate the Demonic Edict.

Now,

the Young Lord has occurred,

and we do not know what to do.

Thus…

Alright,

what is so difficult about this?

Since he is the Young Lord of Tianmo Sect,

we naturally

must find him and bring him back.

But have you thought about it?

If the Young Lord

returns to Suyu Mountain,

then you might

be threatened.

Right.

Then what do you suggest?

Lord.

We, the Seven Caves and Nine Netherworlds,

only follow the Demonic Edict,

and now the Demonic Edict is in your hand.

If you can activate the Demonic Edict,

we

will naturally follow your lead.

But what if the Demonic Edict

can only be activated by Mo Xiao?

Lord,

I have just said

we, the Seven Caves and Nine Netherworlds,

only follow the Demonic Edict.

I see.

You mean,

as long as Mo Xiao can activate the Demonic Edict,

you will then serve him as the Lord,

right?

Very well.

Since you are so open and honest,

I might as well tell you a secret.

The Demonic Edict

can indeed only be

activated by the son of Ye Yuan, Mo Xiao.

But let me tell you.

Mo Xiao

has been taught for years

by the Sword Lord Fengyue.

Do you think

he will lead you to seize the Celestial Edict

to strengthen the Tianmo Sect?

So this is the mysterious power of the Celestial Edict.

We pledge to serve you to the death.

Remember,

the only one who can seize the Celestial Edict

is me,

Chong Guang.

Yes, Lord.

Lixue.

Lixue.

I am Yunchao.

When can you wake up?

If you still don't wake up,

you will become Demon Queen,

and by then, there will be no turning back.

I never expected

that Mo Xiao

is the son my mother

has been searching for over ten years.

He is the son of Ye Yuan.

But since that day,

he was seriously injured and fell off a cliff,

no one knows if he's alive

or where he is.

Tell me,

if he were still alive,

upon hearing the news of your wedding,

would he come?

Star Guardian Xu Yuan.

You are here in Shaohao Palace,

what's the matter?

Greetings, Lord.

I came to visit Li…

Demon Queen.

Your elder brother is missing.

I suppose

Star Lord Xu Yuan must be heartbroken.

Instead of staying home to comfort her,

yet you came to visit the Demon Queen.

Mother is worried about my elder brother

and has fallen ill.

But I can't bear to see her like this,

so I plan to leave to find Mo Xiao.

But I heard you

are preparing for the grand wedding ceremony,

I'm afraid that I may not be able to attend,

so I came to bid farewell.

I see.

However,

I think

you didn't have to take great pains.

The news that Lixue will soon become the Demon Queen

has already spread throughout the world.

If Mo Xiao is still alive,

I believe he

would find a way to come to Suyu Mountain.

You want to lure him in here?

Right.

Given Mo Xiao's current situation,

aside from Suyu Mountain,

where else could he go?

I appreciate

your kindness.

But I still need to do what I must.

I may leave.

Lixue.

Time to try on the clothes.

Still recognize it?

Fengyue Sword.

Mo Xiao's Fengyue Sword.

I seized it in front of the Demon Subduing Palace.

Now, Fengyue Sword and you

are both with me.

I bet he will come to retrieve it.

However,

when he returns to Suyu Mountain

and becomes the Young Lord,

you are already my Demon Queen.

Since you two are acquainted with each other,

I might as well

let you

keep this sword.

Once he returns,

we shall return it to him together.

Okay?

Hammer,

are you really that ruthless

and driving him out?

Do you know that those people outside

are all waiting to catch him?

Do you know it?

You…

The men of our fishing village

never fall.

They all know

seeking death is easier than seeking life.

They would never allow themselves to be cowards.

Since you don't want to leave,

then learn from the men in our village

how to survive.

You…

Fine.

I won't talk to you.

I won't talk to you anymore.

Mo Xiao.

How are you? Are you okay?

One, two.

One, two.

One, two.

One, two.

One, two.

One, two.

One, two.

One, two.

Take it slow.

Make way.

Here, have some water.

Drink some water. Take a break.

Good job.

Hammer.

Why are you gathering so many stones?

Disasters are unpredictable.

The Lishui River

is usually calm and still,

but undercurrents are unpredictable.

At that time, my Nuwa Clan

will definitely suffer,

so we have to take precautions.

Take this to your father.

- Alright. - There you go, hurry up.

Father, I've brought you water.

Alright, I know.

- Hurry up. - Grab the rope.

Kid.

Danger! Move!

My child,

how are you?

Say thank you.

Thank you.

Are you okay?

Thank you.

Hammer,

you really have a way.

I was worried he

would just

live a muddled life in here.

Hammer,

do you know

he has been only raised to be the Young Master

holding a sword since he was young?

Do you really want him

to do such hard labor?

If I'm not right,

this kind of hard labor

is a punishment to those men

who have committed

serious offenses here.

Physical pain is better than mental suffering, right?

Don't worry about him.

Hammer,

the rainy season hasn't arrived yet,

yet you're gathering so many stones to build the village early.

Is it necessary?

A storm

will come anytime.

You…

Everyone, it's time to eat.

Time to eat.

Good job.

Come on, let's eat.

Great work, everyone!

Come on, let's eat.

They are all eating like hungry wolves.

Why don't you go eat?

If you don't come, they will eat everything.

Thank you.

I won't eat.

How can you do heavy work without eating anything?

Eat it, you must eat.

Here, eat while it's hot.

Why does the chief ask us

to prepare the dam

so early this year?

What else?

For these strong men having work to do.

Not working,

we still have to fish. We are never idle.

- Exactly. - Exactly.

These days,

you can't fish.

What happened?

I heard from the water patrol,

these days, the Demon Lord of Suyu Mountain is going to

hold a grand wedding ceremony.

To welcome the heads of the Seven Caves and Nine Netherworlds,

who are going to Suyu Mountain to congratulate him,

no fishing boats in the Lishui realm allowed.

The celebration will last for several days.

♫ Vivid dreams, karma comes ♫

♫ Love for three lifetimes, fading away ♫

♫ Being sad, seeing through worldly ties ♫

♫ Love and hate interlock, finding its balance ♫

♫ Love is hard to get, crossing the sea of bitterness ♫

♫ No matter how many lifetimes, unwilling to wake up ♫

♫ Until the fog dissipates, eternal waiting remains ♫

♫ Year after year, the love is still ♫

♫ Through countless catastrophes, still find you familiar ♫

♫ The faithful cool wind, and the merciless night rain ♫

♫ Love is destined ♫

Spread my order

to all the members of the Tianmo Sect.

Drink joyfully for three days,

and enjoy.

Lord,

we have relaxed the alert of the entrance of Suyu Mountain,

but nothing happens.

There's no rush.

We'll drink joyfully for three days,

there's still time.

Star Lord.

Go back and rest.

If you continue to wait here,

your body will not hold up.

Chong Guang gets wedding in a high profile

to lure him in.

My son is definitely still alive.

I have to wait for him.

Star Lord.

Tian Xin has arranged someone

to guard under Suyu Mountain.

If the Young Lord really returns,

he will be informed.

You should go back and rest.

Alright?

Don't worry about me.

Yes.

Lixue.

Are you happy

right now?

Tell me,

are you happy?

On that day at the Zhongyuan Lantern Festival,

I released a thousand lotus lanterns for you

and secretly made a wish.

If one day, all the evil factions are eradicated,

and I accomplish my mission,

I would gift you a sea of blooming flowers

and three thousand lanterns.

I wish

we could go to a place without immortal and demon,

and without revenge and enmities.

And spend a few days between us.

You've awakened long ago.

What?

Do you hate me?

Do you resent me?

Do you want to kill me?

Lixue.

As long as you are willing to wake up,

I am willing to endure

all your resentment and hatred.

I want you to see everything before you.

I want you to know

that now

you are already my Demon Queen.

Come on, Lixue.

Wake up.

♫ The joys and sorrows, you need not bear ♫

Why don't you want to wake up?

Why don't you want to talk to me?

Today

is my happiest night.

Lixue.

Don't you want to share with me

the joys of this world?

Why?

♫ The love from the seasons ♫

No.

I don't want you to be my puppet.

I want you to be my lover.

I want you to talk to me.

I want you to smile at me.

I can always find a way

to fix broken things.

♫ The nightmares are all about love ♫

I can only create

beautiful things by myself

with hard work.

♫ Kiss the water and vanish ♫

It doesn't matter.

As long as you and me

combine the Ice Cicada,

plus

the power of the three sacred stones,

I believe

the countercharge force within me

can be eliminated,

then we can…

♫ Kiss the water and vanish ♫

♫ It is my love or the clouds lingering ♫

♫ Let this love remain in the world ♫

Have you seen that brat?

That young man?

Yes.

Didn't he go to transport stones by the river?

They said he went missing by noon.

Where could he have gone?

Anyone said something to him?

Terrible.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao, Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao, Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao, Mo Xiao.

You're awake.

You're awake.

You scared me to death.

Do you know

I've been looking for you all night?

I almost turned this entire fishing village upside down.

Y-You ran here.

You really scared me to death.

Mo Xiao.

Are you crying?

Why?

Say something.

Did you hear something?

I told you.

At times like this,

I shouldn't let you know about this.

You're still not healed.

Knowing this would be too much for you.

Look. Look.

Mo Xiao.

The dead cannot return to life.

Don't be sad.

Who died?

What are you talking about?

Aren't you mourning for your master?

My master?

What happened to him?

Your master Yuan Beichen

is dead.

What are you talking about?

I'm serious.

Really.

My master is dead?

Why?

Why?

Why are you lying to me?

I'm not lying to you.

Your master Yuan Beichen is really dead.

I heard

two disciples under him,

one is a demon child,

and another one has been demonized.

So, he was denounced by the Shushan Sect as spies of the Demonic Sect.

Your master, to atone for his sins,

he committed suicide.

By the way,

the new Sect Leader of Shushan Sect, Murong Changfeng,

has also closed down Luntian Division.

Yuan Beichen's body

would be thrown into the Ghost Valley.

All disciples of Luntian Division

have to go to the Ghost Valley to keep vigil.

Don't you know all these?

Then why are you crying?

Impossible.

Impossible.

I'll go ask him.

Mo Xiao.

Where are you going?

Where are you going?

Why did the Shushan Sect become

what it is today?

Jing was such a lively girl,

but since that incident,

she has been

silent in the Tielv Division.

Good heavens.

No way.

I have to talk to Murong Changfeng.

Don't go.

Xuan Zhen.

You never handle the internal affairs of the sect,

but this time it's really different.

Senior Brother Yuan has already committed suicide to atone for his sins,

but Murong Changfeng still won't let it go.

No, I must go seek justice for him.

Wait.

Senior Brother Yuan didn't allow us

do anything for him.

Did he say so himself?

Did he know beforehand

that he would encounter all this?
