my grandmother who passed away.

I feel like death and life

Grandma Teri continues to grow,

even though that she's passed.

Growing up, Grandma Teri
was facing her demons,

We started to build

Then she got the tragic news

that she had stage 4
colon cancer.

I was with Grandma Teri

in the last few weeks
of her life playing music.

Grandma Teri was
so supportive of my music.

That was the one thing
that she never faltered on.

I really hope that I can show
my vulnerable folk self

on the stage because
she would be so proud of me.

is so disarming

and beautiful and enchanting.
