I think dreams are
definitely a place where

are trying to get to you.

I think that, for sure, can happen.

I think she's still holding onto a lot.

I see such an... such a hostility still

and almost like a... There's definitely
a wall and definitely a coldness.

But I do.

I'm sure it's anger.

so many reasons as to why.

I think I started getting really anxious
without me even noticing it.

The tardiness, the sweating, things that,
like, maybe are triggers for me.

And I just was like,
"I have to get through this."

I could tell, in the moment,
I'm so guarded.

I knew this man so well,

and I was a secret keeper,
a lover, a best friend.

I was so many things
and then, you're just nothing.

And then, to see someone,
it's almost like this flood of emotions.

It's so many things to process.

But in that moment,
I could tell I was really uncomfortable.

figuring out you're, like, friend names?

I'm like, "You can't call me 'babe',
I don't know you."

I said, "Last time I saw you,
you couldn't speak..."

a defense mechanism

if you feel that way

...I just handled that
maybe not how I would've liked."

Of course, my family can see
that there's walls, and there is,

but I had to put up
these walls to protect myself,

to protect my feelings, my heart.

I think it would be foolish
of me to not have walls,

so you never go back
into that same situation.

Yeah, I mean, I don't have
a problem doing that.

At the end of the day, like,
if it's been this much time,

I'm never gonna take away from you,

like, the trauma that you were
put through by not only him,

but then, in the end, Tristan,
so I can't even imagine

how you might feel
about all these situations.

But, like, at this point for yourself,

I would almost say you have
to find it within you to forgive.

You don't have to forget.

[Khloé] I think what is
so frustrating about all of this

is, like, they don't really understand.

I think anyone that knows my situation
or that has been in that situation

would be a different version
of themselves this many years later.

It would be foolish not to be.

Like, you have to protect yourself
and grow from that scenario.

I'm a different person than I was
and that's not bad or good.

It just is what it is.

if you're in trouble

or you need something,
but otherwise, like..."

I genuinely think, or I would pray,
that all these men know that about me.

whether it be Tristan or Lamar,

where these people do
these outrageous things

and then they see me again

act as if nothing happened.

Even though I would've
loved for you to, like,

put me in a dip
and put your tongue down my throat

And it probably does to these people

because I have been
in so many different ways.

No, I never knew he did drugs

until probably a year and a half
into our marriage.

There's so much that you
kept from us, in a good way,

When I was going through my divorce,

I definitely sheltered

ruin that for them.

And I just wanted to preserve
as much of their innocence as I could.

I've never been in your shoes
and I can't speak from your experiences,

but everything you just said puts
a lot more into context for me, obviously,

and makes me understand maybe
why you acted that way more.

It's really good to sit down
and talk with Khloé

'cause I think it gives the story
a little bit more texture for me at least,

You might think that's easy for me to say,
but it hasn't always been.

Some days, it's still not easy.

But as I get older, I can say those words
with a lot more confidence.

Like everybody, I do have moments
of getting a little blue.

I think everybody's gonna deal
with it in their own way,

but, for me,
a lot of it is gratitude.

Like, I journal a lot.

So I think that writing down the things
that I'm really grateful for

and the things
that do make me happy,

it's just a constant reminder of, like,
where I'm blessed in life.

What inspired you to create it?

I had just turned 40,

um, and I wanted to do things that were
gonna push me outside of my comfort zone

and things that
I've always wanted to do,

but maybe I was too
just in my own head or fearful to do it.

I wanted to push myself and take
more risks in my fourth decade of life.

I'm ready to do it.
I just think it's meant to be.

Forty has been amazing.

I really cannot even imagine
what's about to come,

but I know it's gonna be good.
