I'm so happy to have been
able to be part of such a journey

that I could have been, really.

But the idyll cracked when Clas
clashed with the ski federation.

In the winter of 2024, Clas resigned
after 20 years as sports director.

It was really about how
I was feeling personally.

When good friends see
that you're not doing well,

before you realize it yourself...
There was no other way then.

Then it's not hard anymore,

but before that,
it was so hard that I couldn't do it.

It's just gratitude for
having been a part

of a sport where the volunteers put
in an amazing job,

and some of the athletes
have done things

that have put a bit of a strain
