- Listen tiger, gold! Lets go see!
- And out of the sky my friends, like an omen
Why someone's bound to strike it rich
- [Whiskers] Not likely, aint no gold left in these parts,
except maybe Jeremiah's secret gold mine.
- Whiskers' you have been telling that crazy old story about
Jeremiah's lost gold mine for so many years that
I think you might even believe it.
(laughing)
- Eh, some day you'll understand.
- Old Whiskers, crazy as a loon.
Now as I was Saying, you could strike it rich
all you need is the right equipment!
All for a mere 10 dollars
- Sounds neat, huh Fiev. Hey lets try it.
- Yeah, but who has 10 dollars.
- Oh yeah
- Gold indeed, would you look at them throw away perfectly
good money on that flap-trap, what
a pack of credulous fools, eh Tooler.
- Right boss, what a bunch of dopes.
- Perhaps however this unity is something we can utilize
to put fresh meat on the table, question is how?
(upbeat music)
[Girl Mouse] Look mama the whole town has gone crazy.
- Only a fool would fall for such nonsense
- Mama there's gold!
- Oh Fievel.
- Where did you get all that junk?
- It fell from the sky, like an omen Tanya,
were gonna be rich.
- Fievel, what will your papa say?
- [Mouse] Mama, there's gold!
- Oh heaven help us, its an epidemic.
(upbeat music)
- Looks like we got everything tiger, pan, shovel, pick
- Uh-huh, yup, ready to go
- Sounds like you boys got the prospect and bug to
- Yeah were gonna find gold, Mr. Whiskers!
- You boys is wasting your time prospecting, just like I

- Oh no, no really? That's bad.
- Say, whose this guy Jeremiah
- Jeremiah? (laughs)
ole prospect from long time ago

- You saw it? - With my own eyes.
Course Jeremiah never told anybody where his mine was.
Even had the whole thing booby-trapped
- [Together] Booby-trapped?
- Folks even say his ghost has still gotten the mine
- Ghost? Wow
- (stuttering) Ghost? Oh boy
- I aint afraid of no ghost, come on

- Be careful son! - Okay, Thanks Whiskers
- Yeah, thanks.
(chattering)
- Okay boss, tell me again, why are we
giving away maps to the gold?
- For the last time, Chula. There is no gold. Only
a ridiculous legend, and these foney maps that lead
to an abandoned mine, in which we shall trap
every gold crazed mouse in Greenriver!
- And there's no ghost?
- Correct, no ghost.
Now get back to work.
Right no ghost, just the legend, trap the mice
- I myself shall distribute the first batch.
- Gee Fievel, do you think there's, really a ghost.
- Tiger forget about the ghost, that's
just a crumby old story, were after gold!
- Maybe my map would help, eh fur ball?

- Oh wow! - That gold is as good as ours
- Come on! - Oh boy! Gold.
- Well we'll be waiting for you suckers.
- Okay Lets see now, 10 paces north, seven paces east,
which leads us right to, no where tiger.
- I never knew that prospecting was such hard work

- That mine has gotta be here somewhere.
- Hey Fiev, I found some shade, come on, come on!

Spider? What? - Boss, more mice coming boss.

- Yeah old Jeremiah's ghost! - Old Jeremiah's ghost?
- Yeah, he guards the mine

Papa, Mr. Shimmel!
- Hey boss, what do you say we just head

- Yeah, and noisy and dirty, and scary, just a little though
- And its just like you said, so bright-
- You had to look away.
Looks like the gold nugget is all that
remains of Jeremiah's gold
Well, we'll never see that beauty again.
- Whiskers, I think Jeremiah
would have liked you to have this
- Well thank you kindly Mr. Shimmel,
I sure do appreciate it. The last of Jeremiah's gold.
