Let's check their athletic skill!

They're checking the athletic skill of the rumored monsters-like 4th gens!

Except...

SEE!? I TOLD YOU!!

Perhaps due to the headwind

They only made low records much to Takase's delight...

However!

Now in the latter half, the 4th gens are making their counterattack!

Can they vent their piled up anger against their seniors?!

Presented by TeamHinataSubs

Timing: space TL: tbs, Sauria, xin QC: space, thi Encode: thi

How was the first half, Kasuga-san?

Starting another ep with another flopping comments from Kasuga Getting unsparingly dry reactions, he sweats more than the 4th gens...

Intense and fiercely competitive!

It's like fighting sports at this point!

Right

Right...

His voice got really small...

Very well then, we'll pick up from where we left off, the handball long throw!

By the way, high school girls' average for this field is 14m 40cm

As the morale went low for the 4th gens, will they be able to surpass the average?

First up for the challenge is Ishizuka Tamaki-chan, who's been scoring good results so far!

I played baseball for a bit back in grade school

So I'm a little confident with this

Anyone you think as your rival?

Shimizu Rio

Businessrivalification

One, two!

Tamaki! Spunky!

HAPPY-GO-LUCKY!

It went pretty far

She pulled it off, right? -Wasn't that one good?

11m 60cm!

This should be a good record

Next up for the challenge is Konishi Nanami-chan!

I used to play hand baseball back in grade school

The sheer lack of enthusiasm

Not good with mornings?

I think my experience might come into play here

That throw felt like it got some speed, though

Not bad

13m 30cm!

Nice one!

First place

Extreme mood swing

t/n: Konishi introduced herself in her self-written profile as having an extreme mood swing

What's that, Konishi Dance?

I think it was the results of my time playing hand baseball, so I'm glad with the record!

The hand baseball AGAIN?

She's persistent with the hand baseball

Next up is Takeuchi Kirari-chan, who hasn't been making noteworthy records so far

I've got small hands

So I'm unsure whether I can hold the ball or not

That's the ball in your hand!

Kirarincho World in full swing

The others have been going "Kirarincho" at me

So with that feeling in mind, I'll aim to bust the sky with my throw

What's she even saying?

She said it herself

Well, should be OK

9m 40cm!

Guess it didn't get far

The lowest one yet...

Next is the former office worker, Yamashita Haruka-chan!

Handball-throwing is my #1 specialty!

I aim to hit the best record among the 4th gens!

That's awesome

What a pretty throw!

Hidenori-level strong throwing arm

t/n: Chuunichi Dragons' former player known for his laser beam-like pitches

It went way past the lines, right?

17m 20cm!

People would think "is she a softball athlete?"

Since I'm that good at throwing things

Their comments are bonkers...

The "4th gens = crazy" theory

After that, they attempt to overcome Haruka-chan's record...

WHATTHEHECK!??!?!?

She's mad??

But none of them could best her...

Scary...

What was she screaming for?

Cozy Honoka's coziness: 0

Anyway, currently the best record's holder is Yamashita Haruka-chan with her 17m 20cm

Will a member who can outdo her record appear?

Next one to go is Hirao Honoka-chan who was the last place for the 50m run

Feeling confident?

I am!

You can trust me on this

Throw-in?

Why did she go with that throwing style?

3m 30cm

There's no response. It's just a corpse heartbreak...

t/n: classic message in Dragon Quest

It was so embarrassing I just want to go somewhere far away

The Day Hirao Skipped Away?

t/n: based on Watanabe Machiko's song, "かもめが翔んだ日 (the day the seagulls flew away)"

Thank you for your patronage

Last one is the top contender, Shimizu Rio-chan!

Will she be able to best Haruka-chan's 17m 20cm record?

How's it gonna be like?

Huge expecations on her athleticism

I never had my handball throw measured

So I can't say a lot, but I'm going to believe in myself

I'll do my best!

Sounds like she had never done handball throw before

Kasuga-san... I love you!!!

IT WENT FAR

Awesome!

That was amazing

The long throw of love

With the power of love

It went pretty far, right?

Kasuga-san must be happy

That must have ranked #1

17m 60cm!

YAYYY!

That's cool!

I made it since I channeled my feelings for Kasuga-san!

Impressive...

And with that, her record passed Haruka-chan's over

Meaning, Shimizu Rio-chan is the victor for the handball long throw event!

Splendid result!

Something I'm curious of is that "Kasuga-san, I love you" bit...

A strong, worthy rival appears...!

Your feelings for him are quite strong, then?

I think so, yes

I'm concerned on whether the staff made her say that or not...

The sole #TeamTakase objecting

There's nothing to gain for the staff

High risk, no return move

That's true!

Shimizu, you didn't say it because a cue card forced you to, right?

No, there was nothing in the cue card

Then it's the real deal

So the throw was powered by your love for him

Looks like that's the case, Manafi

Huh...

Oh crap...

It shakened her up

This is kinda frustrating

Kasu, Grasping Love

t/n: 奪い愛、冬 (Winter, Grasping Love) is the title for a dorama

You haven't tried it, but there's no way you can throw 17m, right Manafi?

We don't know yet, though?

Since I've never done it

A new sparks of conflicts

No, no, we can tell

Actually, no, we can't

I would even bet 200,000 yen on it

Available gamble in sports betting site "WINNER"?

Don't bet money!

Gambling money on your own volition is a crime.

Of course, betting real money isn't encouraged at all

The seniors want to show off their power, so they'll have a dodgeball match with 4th gens!

By the way, the 8 high ranked 4th gens will participate

It'll be 5 infielders and 3 outfielders

The team who's all infields got hit loses

There will be no resurrection from the outfield this time

They are on standby now

Who's the captain?

-Kage -Kage will be the captain?

-Can you win? -Well...

Even in here, we were always doing dodgeball...

Nice point

Experience makes a difference, isn't it?

So you gathered merciless members...

Ruthless Senbatsu?

-No... -We aren't like that

Be careful, they're may be going for your face

Think about it, the crazy players in dodgeball are...

Kato, Higashimura, and Watanabe Miho

Sports Monster 3

Now that you told me...

And they aren't here today...

You can't afford to lose in the first place

Who's the captain from 4th gen?

It's Shimizu? Can you win?

It's inappropriate to hit our seniors...

Strict hierarchy

Is that so?

Personally, I want you to hit them in their face

Face is dangerous! Aim for the body!

-Eh?! -Why?

Please don't pull any punches

If it's okay, shout out your feelings for Kasuga...

Cry out love in the center of the court

That'd be fire

Manafi, you can say your feelings for Kasuga if you have time

You can shout it too

She said it since she got told to

Calm down!!

Unstoppable Jealoufii

Don't be that hostile

She's not being told anything, it's her own feeling

Please proceed

You freaking started it!

End of jealousy manzai?

I'm just trying to calm you down

The civil war of #KasugaTeam will be for another occasion

Anyway, we'll begin the dodgeball match now

Let's start

Dodgeball

Start!

She's aiming at you

Out!

4th Gen Ishizuka Tamaki

Her feet got hit

They throw the ball hard

Throw it!

Go for it, Hinano!

She caught it!

Nice going!

So fast! It's light speed!

What a waste!

What's next!?

Woah! She dodged!

Nice ducking

It's almost always Kage...

She caught it!

Hiraoka's jellyfish cannon explodes!

Bringing down her senior, Mirei!

Nice match!

It's a close match

-It broke -Let's break for a moment

Time out

A star from the set was fallen

We broke it

Impressively broke stuff

Which of you is Kirarincho again?

Here, for you

For Kirarincho

Takeuchi☆Kirari state

Bring it with you

It suits you

Okay, let's start from Manafi

Show them your power

She almost caught it! Out!

3 persons left

Only 3 of you now

Close observation

-Fast -That's fast, Kage

Now it's 4 vs 3, it's a good match

You got to catch the ball

Right

I hope 4th gen catches the ball

Sorry!

Shougenji, who has dodged with excellent reflexes until now,

Regrettably got out after being targeted mercilessly by senior Kageyama

Only 2 left for the 4th gen!

Can they turn the table!?

Can they come back from this?

Yeah, no one can tell

Tomita got hit...

-Wow, one person left! -Shimizu is alone now.

4th Gen's last hope

The one who has the best reflex.

3 minutes left.

3 minutes left.

-3 minutes left -It's a long 3 minutes.

Watch out!

Now's your chance!

Watch out!

Watch out!!

Dodge!

The match's over

That was a great match

I didn't imagine Kawata and Manafii would survive

We survive

From Shutoko Renewal Project (it's big o_o), Suzuka stars in its TV CM "Designed to Protect and Preserve. For the Next 100 Years"

Protect and Preserve. For the Next Minutes.

You're still in the game

They're more experienced after all

So scary, Hinatazaka

Well, let's call Takei Sou

They got to have a dodgeball training arc

Temporary training camp?

A special dodgeball training for 4th gen

Before they meet their 2 monster seniors

We'll consider a special training plan for 4th Gen!

Next up we will check out their high jump!

The average record for high school girls is 114cm!

The best record so far within the Sakamichi group is Nogizaka's 5th gen Okuda Iroha with 123cm

By the way, this time the bar will start at 100cm

It will be raised gradually

It's a sudden death format where you're out once you drop the bar

First is the #1 in the long jump event, Ishizuka Tamaki-chan!

I'll go now!

Good luck!

Here I go!!

First up, Tamaki-chan cleared it by making a nimble leap!

Next up is the top contender, Shimizu Rio-chan!

I'll give it my best! I think...

Mindset! Mindset! -Good luck!

HonoOFF

Look at the girls in wait

Awesome!

Rio-chan said she had a record of 140cm

She didn't give in to the pressure and succeeded!

Riding off the momentum, the other 4th gens cleared it one after another

Good luck!!

That's a dynamic jump

They passed the 100cm bar one after another, furthermore...

I'll jump higher than anyone!

We're still at 100cm though...

Cozy Honoka got cozy with her running start and impressively cleared the bar!

However! The tide started turning

Good luck!

I'm gonna jump!

Lege!

Lege~!

Good luck!

Her long legs got caught up on the bar, and thus Lege failed her jump

Inherited Will of ㋳

I'll go now!

And Kirari-chan who came after too...

Good luck...

She couldn't jump over the bar

Refreshing exit

From there, the momentum continues to be on the down low...

Go get it!

Won't cross your expectations

Of course

Looks dangerous

She almost didn't make it to the cushion

So close!

You can do it, Haruharu!

Her leg stuck!

Shachihoko-style jump?

t/n: Shachihoko is the golden fish creature seen as a golden sculpture on top of ancient castles, famously found in Aichi and is in Haruka's catchphrase

The leg couldn't jump over the bar

Surprisingly, half of them failed the 100cm bar, 6 of them left no record

So now the remaining members will challenge the 110cm bar!

First up is Ishizuka Tamaki-chan!

Looks doable for her

Tama-chan's goiiiing!

Pressure up in folds

Wait! No way! I can't do thissss

Tamaki-chan, who's expected to ace it since she aced the long jump, is out

Darn it...

Darn it...!

Next up is the dynamic jumper, Honoka-chan!

Good luck!! Give it your best!!

You can do it!!!

Close!

Could it be that the 110cm that huge of a wall to climb?

Next up is Gen-chan's attempt!

I'm going for the kill!

Giving it my all!

So cool

Sway dodge at bugs

t/n: sway is a boxing defense technique where you pull your head backwards to avoid a hit

She's slowly going at it!

Wait she might actually pull it off!

So closeeee!

That was so close

Everyone almost made it

Next up is Shimizu Rio-chan whose personal best record is 140cm, but...

That's so high...

Feeling the huge pressure

Good luck!

I'll go now...

Ahhhh so close!!!

Could it be that the crowd's favorite Rio-chan lost out to the pressure?

She failed to takeoff from her run-up...

It's been four consecutive fails

Up till then, nobody could beat the 110cm bar yet...

Next, the former track & field club member Mitsuki-chan will give the problematic 110cm a whirl!

High jumper!!

Off-the-wall shout

Goooo Micchan!

Her running form is kinda cool

She made it

▓▓

▓▓

▓

▓

▓

▓

▓

▓

Self-proclaimed High Jumper Mitsuki-chan impressively cleared the problematic 110cm bar!

And then...

The last one to go is the calligraphy-writing girl Kahorin!

I'll juuuuump!

We'll be watchiiiiiing!

Jump, you will! -Juuump!

Go jump!

She's gonna clear it

Unexpected ambush appears

With a jumping power you wouldn't expect from a calligraphy club member, Kahorin passed the bar!

And with that, they're going up next with the bar's height raised!

First off is the self-proclaimed High Jumper Mitsuki-chan!

That's so high!

It's getting to me now

Timid High Jumper

You can do it! -Go for it!

Timid High Jumper

She did a perfect run-up as an ex-track&field club

Mitsuki-chan was close, but her body hit the bar over, so she's out

And the last challenger is Kahorin!

If she could clear it, she'll be the winner for the event! Will she?

I'll juuuuump!

"I'll juuuump"...

That's so cool!!

The ambush won out

From there on, she'll be up against her own record!

The bar will also be raised by 5cm to 120cm!

I'll juuuuump!

I guess the bar was too high...

And with that, though not in the grander scale of inter-Sakamichi...

Fujishima Kaho-chan the calligraphy girl is the winner for the high jump event!

Fujishima-san, seems like you might have some athletics talent

Looks like I'm good at jumps!

And seems like we got a lot who could't jump over the 100cm bar...

Manafi, how high were you able to last time?

80cm...

I think 80cm should be doable for the members who couldn't leave a record, right?

We'll have that segment, since the 4th gen insist that they won't lose to Takase-senpai!

'Long time no see! Jump higher than anyone! Pass the high jump to win!!'

It's been a while

Around four years ago, they did this on Hiragana Music Sports Festival

The girls have to clear the high jump to get out of the game!

This time, the time limit would be the length of DareTobe 2020 version

The ones who are left will have to do a punishment game...

They'll do a sexy one-liner

No, not that

Ooo scary

I bet you'd like to avoid this

Have the fourth gens done this before?

During our training camp...

A camp to train Variety Monsters?

What? Really??

Y'all should've just escaped!!

A real life prison break

Work together to break out

So you went through it off camera, not in the studio

And up next is the high jump challenge you have been waiting for!!

It's time to start "Jump higher than anyone! Pass the high jump!! Return!!"

The seniors with bad record from the previous one also join this time!

They're on standby now

We are starting at 100cm

If it seems impossible, we will lower the height so don't worry

Pass the high jump to win...

Music start!

Go for it!

Keep going

You have no time

Her leg stuck on the bar

Go, Kirarincho!

Keep it up

Keep going at it

Can't-do-rincho

That was a nice try

100cm is quite high

This one's bad

Can I even pull this off?

Keep going!

Go Lege!

None of you passed by now

Lege used 'Toe Kick'!

Watch out, staff, the bar will fly your way

Not what I expected

Yamashita keeps evolving

That's dangerous

Be careful of your legs

Don't hurt yourself

Are you okay?

Can KAWATA do it?

Was it hard?

The queen of not pushing herself

Miipan didn't manage to overcome this

Can you do it?

What will it be?

Was that even a jump?

Secret skill! Raising your stride

That works!

Manafi

You can do this, right?

Has talent in a certain sense

Oh nice

It's impossible

Kamimura's turn -Go for it

She moves weird

AH the flashbacks!

Body slam tackles

It reminds me of our American football days

We will lower the bar to 95cm

95cm is manageable right?

She's mad?

Since it's 5cm lower now

You may begin your attempts

Go for it! You can do it!

Waaa close!

I thought she was going to make it

Don't get stuck

I bet she'll make it

Remarkable!

Jump over it!

Go for it!

You can jump over it!

She raised the bar

She seems kinda off too

Go for it!

Dynamic Lege

Can they overcome this?

You can do it, just watch your feet

She got her feet stuck again...

KAWATA you can do this right?!

Go for it! Just jump!

You can do it!

You can do it!

A wholeheartedly #HappyY!

Is that acceptable? -Yes, it is

Are you sure? -Yes

I will try that

I wanna see them jump

Two more minutes to go!

Manafi!!!!

You can't even do that

Can't even do that

You're allowed to, but you can't do that ?

Kamimura, go for it! It's only 95cm now

You can do it!

You can do it!!

I lift my leg nano!

She failed

Shall we lower it to 90cm?

This is a sure win, it's already so low

Doing great

Succeeded at doing that

Everyone's gonna pass if they do that

Let them be

YASS!

t/n: a phrase that the name of boxer Nakamura Shinsuke uses a lot in post-match interviews

You hit your knees

t/n: Its the name of boxer Nakamura Shinsuke 's killer technique

That's like Bomaye

Only one minute left, time's running out

This is what I want to see!

Splendid

That was so close!

Hey Manafi, you can do this right?

I'll go for it -Go for it

You can do it!

Is that ok?

Nice

Somehow she got through

Is that really alright?!

It's high jump, you know?

You gotta jump over it

Kamimura seems promising

Jump over it!

Despair inducing athletic skills

This is also...

A failure

Let's lower it!

We are at 85cm -We are left with three!

Three more to go!

Everyone go for it! 10 seconds left

Just go for it!

She's going for it

Ah! That was close

Go for it!

One more to go?

One more person to go

Last one Kamimura-kun!

Go for it!

Time's up!!

That leaves us with Kamimura and Hirao to get the punishment game

Up next!

Hirao shows the result of the training camp!?

The elusive '50m Hurdle Race', Fujishima won first place with 11.96 seconds

Moving on to the punishment game

The topic is

Belly roll (Straddle technique in Japanese)

I'm sure I jumped over the bar...

You did not

She's still at it

Your leg stuck on the bar

I'd bet I jumped...

The BGM's started!

Wow, that's a quick switch

She's getting into it

I'm an adult nano

Thank you -What a start

As expected of you

You switched right when the sound was on

A full on professional

She kept grumbling before that tho

Next, Hirao-sensei -All the best!

You can do it! -It's your first!

Thank you

It was amazing

The training camp really helped
