[Episode 22]

Lord.

I need to go to the secret chamber to meditate.

Ask Chang Ming to come to guard me.

Yes.

Take care of her.

Yes.

Lord.

Why do you do so?

She is of the same bloodline as me.

She can't get any impurities into her body.

Otherwise, the Ice Cicada will get restless,

and I will suffer.

I don't think Lixue could understand

your painstaking efforts.

In the endless time,

only she in this world

can stay with me forever.

One day,

she will understand.

Feng Lixue.

You have impurities,

do not deserve the Lord's love at all.

You have tainted the Lord.

You should die.

Mo Xiao.

Now, everyone in Suyu Mountain is after you.

How dare you come here?

If you dare to shout out a single word,

this dagger will cut through your throat.

You risk your life to protect and save her,

but do you know

if she wants it?

You really are a fool

who is fooled by Feng Lixue.

She is one with Chong Guang.

Do you think Feng Lixue is pure and holy?

Among the 3,000 women in Suyu Mountain,

she is merely the one who pleases Chong Guang the most.

Don't think I don't kill you.

You can kill me,

but even if you do,

you can't take her away.

Because she won't go with you.

If I were you,

and couldn't have her,

I would kill her.

But you are not me.

Jing.

Jing.

How are you feeling, Jing? Are you any better?

Jing.

- Murong Ce. - What's wrong with her?

He was hit by Minghuang's Lotus Strike.

I've been tracking the signal of Jing's Pagoda Bell.

I suddenly sensed it and rushed over.

Why is it just the two of you? Where is the Young Leader?

He will come soon.

We should detoxify Jing now.

Let's go back. Go.

Po Yun, they are here.

- Po Yun. - This is not the place to talk.

Get in the carriage.

Jing, how do you feel?

I'm fine.

Where are father and the others?

The Sect Leader was injured at the bottom of Suyu Mountain.

Father and Master Xie have taken him back to the Shushan Sect first,

leaving me and the three guardians

to wait for you two and the Young Leader.

You two were outrageous.

How can you go to Suyu Mountain without informing us?

Luckily, nothing happened.

Otherwise,

the consequences would be unimaginable.

Got it.

Sorry.

I deeply realize that I was wrong.

Xie Lingyun,

you are distracted.

- What are you thinking about? - Nothing.

Still no news of the Young Leader?

Didn't you say he would come soon?

Why didn't he come back with you?

Well,

he said to understand more about Suyu Mountain's terrain,

so that we can better assault the Demonic Sect in the future.

Terrain?

Jing, take a good rest here.

I'll go wait for the Young Leader.

Young Master Xie, Zifeng and Zimu have already gone to wait for the Young Leader.

I prefer to go personally.

Soon we're about to leave Suyu Mountain.

Once out of the barrier,

I won't be able to see you off.

Thank you for helping me.

Don't mention it. I helped Lixue,

not you.

This will surely irritate Chong Guang.

Why do you still help her?

Because she is the first

and the only one friend I make

on this mountain.

She would be grateful to have a friend like you.

When she wakes up,

you must tell her this.

Actually, the first time I saw her,

I knew

that she didn't belong to Suyu Mountain.

Take her away.

The further, the better.

But I have one condition.

- Go ahead. - Take good care of her.

I will.

If you don't take good care of her,

I will come to you.

You are the Sect Leader of the Shushan Sect,

easy to find.

Rest assured, I won't let you come to me.

Where is she?

Taken away by Mo Xiao.

I fought with my life,

but Feng Lixue wanted to leave with Mo Xiao

even joined forces with him to attack me,

and I was defeated.

I will never

allow anyone to take what's mine.

No matter how useful she is

to me.

Mo Xiao.

In the Demonic Realm,

I spared your life,

and you should return to the Shushan Sect.

How dare you to take my Feng Lixue away.

How stupid you are.

As long as I'm alive,

I won't let Lixue stay in the Demonic Sect.

Do you think you can take her away today?

Do you think you can keep her?

Mysterious demonic technique?

Mo Xiao.

Be careful.

Lixue.

Lixue.

Lixue.

Lady.

Lady.

Don't move.

Go.

Lord.

The demonic power in your body is hurting you

more and more.

Even if you blame me,

I still have to remind you.

Lord, we are about to achieve what we want.

I think it is time to remove

the Ice Cicada from Lixue's body.

The time is not yet right.

She is still useful.

Lord.

She's merely a vessel for your spiritual items.

You found her and cultivated her,

wasn't all this for today?

Now, the child Ice Cicada is fully grown.

Lord, what are you waiting for?

Shut up!

Chang Ming.

How dare you.

I…

Lixue

is my pawn.

You have no right

to teach me how to use her.

Yes, Lord.

I need to be in secluded cultivation for three days.

In these three days,

no one is allowed to disturb me.

Deliver this to her.

Watch over her.

Without my orders,

she is not allowed to leave Suyu Mountain.

Yes.

Zi Ying,

deliver this to Feng Lixue

and watch her over.

Yes.

This is the medicinal soup the Lord gave you.

The Lord has been lenient to you,

you'd better appreciate it

and understand your mistakes in the Shaohao Palace.

Feng Lixue, don't be ungrateful.

The Lord was injured because of you.

If anything happens to him,

you have no way to make up for it.

Let me tell you,

if you dare to show disrespect to My lady again,

I will kill you.

I am here to deliver medicine to Feng Lixue

under the Lord's orders.

How dare you

to touch me?

He is your Lord.

And my master

is only her, My lady.

What?

Want to see

if I dare to kill you?

Po Yun, let her go.

Let me tell you,

from now on,

without her permission,

don't ever set foot in the Shaohao Palace again.

Understand?

Get lost.

Young Master Jing and Young Master Xie have been back for such a long time,

and why haven't the Young Leader returned?

Could something happen to him?

Don't talk nonsense. He can even break the Suyu Tripod of the Demonic Sect.

What could happen to him?

Let's wait.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao, wake up.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

This is

the most I can help.

Love have left only emptiness and regret.

Sweet dreams are the easiest to wake from.

What books said are indeed correct.

Zifeng, Zimu.

- Young Master Xie. - Young Master Xie.

Why are you here?

Where is Mo Xiao? Hasn't he come back yet?

Young Master Xie, are you sure he is okay?

Didn't you say he would come soon?

Why hasn't he shown up yet?

Indeed.

Are you hiding something from us?

You are quick this time.

To be honest,

your Young Leader has gone to save Feng Lixue.

What? Young Master Xie, why didn't you stop him?

Feng Lixue is right beside the Demon Lord.

The Young Leader broke the Suyu Tripod,

must have already irritated the Demon Lord.

Instead of getting away,

he went to save that witch?

Exactly.

Why didn't you stop him?

What's the point of you two yelling at me?

Do you think

I can stop your Young Leader?

That's true.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

What's wrong with him?

What's the matter, Murong Ce?

Tell me the truth.

What exactly did Mo Xiao go?

I'll tell you the truth.

He went to save Feng Lixue.

Feng Lixue?

That witch? Mo Xiao…

Enough.

How badly is he injured?

The most important thing right now is to heal him.

Let's talk about it until he wakes up.

Although your Fengyu Division is responsible for delivering messages,

don't pass this message to the Shushan Sect.

You're still trying to cover for him.

This is not covering up.

He did go to destroy the Suyu Tripod.

He went to save Feng Lixue

after resolving the crisis in the Desire Valley.

He knew that his fellow disciples were in a dangerous situation,

yet he only

cared about his Feng Lixue.

He doesn't deserve to be the Young Leader.

Murong Ce.

I don't agree with you on this.

What? The Young Leader

must be like a god,

and can't have any love and desire at all?

Is he still a human?

We are of Immortal Sect,

doesn't advocate severing desires or emotions,

but Feng Lixue is a witch,

and Mo Xiao cannot fall for her.

Murong Ce.

You are over twenty years old now, aren't you?

Have you ever fallen for anyone?

I'm being serious.

What are you talking about?

I see.

You've never fallen for anyone,

so you don't understand

this is not something

one can control.

Master.

Did you bring it?

Yes.

Senior Brother Lu.

Ever since coming back from the Desire Valley,

you climb the mountain every day to gather hemostatic herbs,

serving the Master wholeheartedly.

You have really worked hard.

Senior Brother Lu has always been cleverer than us since childhood,

and is most favored by the Master.

Only he can

often visit the Master's room.

Yes.

Enough.

Focus on your practice,

then Master will be pleased.

Alright.

I heard that this time at the Desire Valley,

thanks to the Young Leader who dispelled the demonic poison.

He ventured alone to Suyu Mountain to break the Suyu Tripod,

allowing fellow disciples of various factions to return safely.

The Young Leader is truly amazing.

Exactly.

If it weren't for him,

many disciples of the immortal sects would have been demonized by the Demonic Sect.

I heard even Master's chief disciple was poisoned.

So,

even if the Young Leader is not Master's chief disciple,

he can still be the Sect Leader.

- Senior Brother Lu. - Senior Brother Lu.

Senior Brother Lu, are you okay?

I am okay.

Senior Brother Lu, don't listen to them.

They haven't even left the Shushan Sect,

how could they understand how dangerous the Desire Valley is?

They are just spreading rumors.

Right, Senior Brother Lu.

The three of us were deeply trapped in the demonic lair,

but we're determined

and not demonized eventually.

Besides, we helped

save so many fellow disciples.

We also

contributed to the effort.

- Exactly. - Enough.

Take the herbs back,

and I will catch up soon.

Senior Brother Lu, you…

Hurry.

Stop.

Come here.

[Ye Yuan's Memorial Tablet]

Do you know why I made you kneel here?

I secretly helped Lixue

and Mo Xiao escaped from Suyu Mountain,

letting you down

and breaking your heart.

You are not my biological child,

nor are you of Ye Yuan's bloodline.

So you can disregard

his enmity and my pain, right?

No.

I just kept my loyalty to friends in mind,

so I couldn't stand by and watch.

But aside from that,

everything I did was to help you find my elder brother

to fulfill your wish.

To fulfill my wish?

You know I have only two wishes.

Revenge for Ye Yuan and find your elder brother.

I was wrong. Please punish me.

Of course.

If Chong Guang could do something

to my Spiritual Palace,

do you think you could still kneel here unharmed?

But if I don't punish you,

how would Chong Guang and everyone in the Tianmo Sect

view the Spiritual Palace?

I know my mistake.

I'm willing to go to the Dragon Stone Cave

to reflect on my mistakes.

Do you really want to go there?

Since I did something wrong,

I will accept my punishment.

Cook this medicine

for six times a day.

Let him take half a cup

once every four hours.

Remember,

let him take the medicine on time.

Don't delay it. Understand?

Yes.

Xuan Zhen.

Xuan Zhen, please stay.

Senior Murong.

You may leave.

Senior Murong, are you here to see the Sect Leader?

Yes. It's the first time the Sect Leader

got such serious injure in so many years.

I am really worried.

Besides, Ce has sent a message through the voice transmission,

saying that the Young Leader

also got injured in the Demonic Sect,

and is currently taking a rest.

Now is the time of turmoil for our Shushan Sect.

I really can't be at ease.

What?

Don't you

trust my medical skills?

Xuan Zhen, I didn't mean that.

You have managed the Baicao Division of the Shushan Sect for years,

and has obtained the techniques of the former master.

In recent years, you have continuously improved your skills.

Now, your medical skills are already at the top level.

Although the Sect Leader is not completely healed now,

he has already greatly improved.

With you treating him,

I feel at ease.

Then,

are you worried about Zisu?

Two days ago,

Ce sent a message through the voice transmission.

He didn't say anything else but claiming that they were safe.

Just a few brief words.

I am worried about these kids.

They are still young,

and not skilled enough to handle things.

What if something goes wrong?

Ce is prudent,

and Mo Xiao is also there.

Nothing should go wrong.

Senior Murong, don't worry that much.

Master.

Why the panic? What's the matter?

After taking the medicine,

the Sect Leader suddenly vomited blood and fainted.

What?

Go check now.

- Xuan Zhen. - Xuan Zhen.

How is he?

Didn't you say

that he's getting better after taking the medicine?

Why did he faint again?

Two seniors.

The Sect Leader

got poisoned.

Poisoned?

That's right.

If I remember correctly,

this is the poison from the Rootless Flower

recorded in ancient books.

The Rootless Flower grows in places with extremely heavy evil energy.

People affected by its poison

would lose their consciousness gradually

and

would slowly show signs of madness and foolishness.

Places with extremely heavy evil energy?

Could this poison come from the Demonic Sect?

How could there be poison

from the Demonic Sect in here?

What if there are people from the Demonic Sect

infiltrating here?

That is possible.

Zisu, the Young Leader has been in a coma.

When will he awake up?

Does your elixir really work?

The Sect Leader selected Zisu from the Baicao Division back then

because she was the top

in the Baicao Division.

If she said it's fine, then it's definitely fine.

I am just worried about the Young Leader.

Mo Xiao, what's wrong?

Nothing, I knocked over the medicine soup.

I'll serve another one.

Lixue.

Master.

The Sect Leader is poisoned by the Rootless Flower

and is in a coma in the Shushan Sect.

Master…

Zisu, what are you thinking about?

Nothing.

Are you worried about the Young Leader?

I think

that his injury is a bit strange,

seeming there is some kind of demonic force flowing.

Demonic force?

If the Young Leader fought with the Demon Lord

and was injured by the demonic technique,

then it's normal for his body to have residual demonic force flowing.

I think so.

Terrible, something wrong happened in the Shushan Sect.

What's wrong?

What happened?

The Sect Leader got poisoned.

Father told us

to return to the Shushan Sect immediately.

But Mo Xiao is still unconscious.

How can we return to the Shushan Sect?

Jing is right.

Now that the Sect Leader is poisoned,

then we can't let him

know about Mo Xiao's injury.

Murong Ce, how about this?

You'd go back to the Shushan Sect with the three guardians first.

And I will go back with Jing after Mo Xiao wakes up.

I must stay to take care of the Young Leader.

We'll stay too.

Alright.

Then you all take care of him here.

I'll go back to the Shushan Sect first.

Okay, if there is any news,

let us know.

One

after another.

I will go check on Mo Xiao.

No need.

He has already left.

Left?

I'll go find the antidote to save Lixue.

Wait for me at the Shushan Sect.

Mo Xiao woke up?

When did he find out?

The Young Leader has gone to find the antidote for the Sect Leader?

Young Master Xie, why didn't you say so earlier?

The Young Leader said he's going to find Feng Lixue.

I'll answer one by one.

First, he has Hualang to know the news.

So he knows news even earlier than the Fengyu Division.

He left while I was asleep.

I told you

this should not be known to the Shushan Sect,

or the Sect Leader.

What should we do now?

Wait.

So it's you.

There is no such immortal artifact.

You lied to me.

Feng Lixue.

The Ancestor Hall was destroyed,

and the Suyu Tripod was broken.

All the people of Suyu Mountain

witnessed that you and Mo Xiao worked together to do so.

You colluded with the Shushan Sect

and destroyed the sacred artifact of the Demonic Clan.

This crime is unforgivable.

Today, we must

throw you into the Demonic Abyss to be torn apart.

While my master is in secluded cultivation,

you want to kill me.

You guys

are really above board.

Enough.

The crime of betraying our sect by colluding with the disciple of the Shushan Sect

is enough to throw you into the Demonic Abyss.

Forget it.

I think it's Chong Guang's man who came to rescue her.

I think

we should settle this with Chong Guang.

My lady, are you awake?

Why am I sleeping here?

It's all my fault.

A demonic servant from Spiritual Palace made a mistake

and asked me for help.

And this trip took me half a day.

When I came back, I saw you passed out lying on the ground.

Lying on the ground?

Yes, it must be you have been troubled

and weak lately.

No.

I was just deceived by Xu Yuan Wushuang, Ji Xingluo, and Minghuang

to go to the main hall.

- What? - They almost threw me into the Demonic Abyss,

but an old demonic servant saved me.

Have you seen this person?

Old demonic servant?

No, we don't have an old demonic servant in the Shaohao Palace.

My lady.

Forget it.

Let me be alone.

You may leave.

My lady, are you really okay?

Yes.

Do you think you can come here as you please?

I'm here to take you away.

If you don't leave, I won't leave.

I'm not leaving.

Then I'll wait until you want to.

Lixue, come with me.

When did I ever agree to go with you?

It's all just your wishful thinking.

Give up.

Give up?

How can you say this so easily?

Do all the difficulties we've been through mean nothing?

Can we just give them up like this?

Or what?

For a matter that will never end well,

is it meaningful to risk two people's lives?

What do you mean?

You better leave before Chong Guang finds out.

Mo Xiao,

I must stay to investigate the true cause of my father's death.

Forgive me that I cannot go with you.

Actually, I came here

to look for one thing.

What is it?

The antidote for the Rootless Flower.

The antidote for the Rootless Flower?

That's right.

My master was poisoned by the Rootless Flower.

I heard that this flower

only grows on Suyu Mountain.

Lixue.

Mo Xiao.

My lady.

Tian Xin requests an audience.

Coming.

Please save Star Guardian Yunchao.

Tian Xin, please rise.

What's wrong with him?

He was punished by our Star Lord

for helping you leave

and got locked in the Dragon Stone Cave at the back mountain of the Ancestor Hall.

Star Lord Shaohao,

the Dragon Stone Cave where Star Guardian Yunchao is confined

is the coldest place in the world.

In the past, someone practiced in there

and nearly lost their lives.

As you know,

Star Guardian Yunchao has practiced Water Manipulation Technique since childhood

and fears cold places the most.

In that cave, water droplets turn to ice.

So Star Guardian Yunchao

cannot use his technique

to fend off the bitter cold.

If he is confined there for days,

he will surely suffer from the coldness every day.

How can he stand it?

Tian Xin, just tell me

how I can help him.

Star Lord,

this is the Cold-Resisting Gold obtained

from the ancient Golden Bird.

Take it with you

and it will shed light on you,

keeping you warm and shielding you from the cold.

That day, in the Ancestor Hall, I saw

you could freeze everything,

so I know you are not afraid of the cold.

Thus, I boldly beg you

to help Star Guardian Yunchao.

I will definitely

repay you in the future.

Tian Xin, I will help you with this.

You should go back,

in case someone finds out.

Thank you, Star Lord Shaohao.

Go.

My lady.

The Star Guardian Yunchao was punished for helping you leave the mountain.

Now all the Star Lords on Suyu Mountain

are blaming you.

At this moment,

it's better to avoid trouble.

The Star Guardian Yunchao encountered all this because of me.

How could I possibly do nothing?

Then I'll go with you.

No.

That place is extremely cold.

You can do nothing if you go.

Besides,

it wouldn't arouse suspicion if I go alone.

My lady, please be careful.

By the way, Mo Xiao

is still on Suyu Mountain.

Mo Xiao?

He's looking for the antidote for the Rootless Flower.

Go check on him.

Okay. I'll go right away.
