[Episode 21]

Lixue.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

Star Lord Lixue,

you secretly colluded with the disciples of Shushan Sect

and trespassed into our sect's Forbidden Area,

destroying our sacred vessel, the Suyu Tripod.

This is the crime of betraying.

Even the Demon Lord

cannot protect you.

You colluded with an outsider to trespass into the Ancestor Hall.

You destroyed our sacred vessel.

This is a capital offense.

Capture these two people.

Mo Xiao.

Lixue.

Lixue.

He can set up a barrier in our sect's Ancestor Hall.

How is this possible?

Who exactly is he?

Lixue.

I've told you

not to use the Ice Sword Technique,

or you will get hurt.

Lixue.

Lixue.

Lixue.

Do you know why your embrace

is more effective on this girl than your spiritual power?

The key lies in your blood.

Your blood is the cure for her Cold Syndrome.

If one day, the coldness invades her bone marrow,

threatening her life,

then try transferring your blood to her.

Blood transfer…

Lord.

Since I have saved you,

why did you come back?

Like I said,

no one but me

can kill you.

You cannot die here.

Lixue.

Mo Xiao.

You set up a barrier in the Ancestor Hall of the Tianmo Sect.

Are you insulting us?

If the three of us work together,

I bet we can destroy

the barrier set up by him.

Since they don't want to come out,

or let us in.

That's perfect.

Then let's leave their lives in the Ancestor Hall

to offer the demon spirit of the Demonic Clan.

Lixue.

Jing.

If we try to force our way through this maze,

we definitely won't get out.

So I made this.

- Bamboo Dragonfly? - Right.

The bamboo dragonfly I made is not ordinary.

It can find directions and lead the way.

Let's see if it can lead us out.

Are you good at making bamboo dragonflies?

Of course.

This is the first spring mechanism artifact I learned to make when I was young.

I'm quite skilled at it.

Can Mo Xiao make it?

Of course not.

He is indeed a bit better

than me in sword mastery.

But as for making spring mechanism artifacts,

I dare to say I'm the best

in the Shushan Sect.

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Why?

Just a bamboo dragonfly.

I know many more.

Don't worry, I'll go take a look.

♫ Understanding my melody and my lyrics ♫

♫ I've been thinking of you while talking ♫

♫ A poem can't conceal my worries ♫

♫ The flowers have fallen in my dream ♫

♫ In the wind and rain, I saw the loneliness in your eyes ♫

Girl, I've sucked out your poison.

I have to go to my morning class.

Then you should rest for a while.

And this bamboo dragonfly will guide you down the mountain.

♫ Looking at the morning sun, I feel down ♫

♫ Thinking of the herons, I feel distressed ♫

♫ In the blink of an eye, the leaves have fallen ♫

♫ Carving the thoughts of love in the heart ♫

It's you

who saved me ten years ago

at the back mountain.

It's you.

In these ten years,

I have mistakenly thought

that it was Mo Xiao from Xuanqing Yard.

♫ Understanding my melody and my lyrics ♫

♫ I've been thinking of you while talking ♫

♫ A poem can't conceal my worries ♫

It doesn't work.

♫ In the wind and rain, I saw the loneliness in your eyes ♫

Jing, don't cry.

Don't worry.

We definitely can get out.

If we really can't get out,

then, I will

make a compromise and marry you.

We can stay in here

to live a peaceful life and form a family,

making those demons mad, alright?

What? Who wants to form a family with you?

Come here.

Come here.

Jing, come chase me.

Jing.

What's wrong, Jing?

Jing.

You…

What did you feed me?

Lingyun.

What did you do to him?

He's not dead,

just passed out.

Since you've captured us,

then give us a quick end.

Why do you trap us

in this maze?

If you want to survive,

stay here.

Xie Lingyun.

Ce.

Ce.

Father, Master Xie.

Ce.

Since the demonic miasma is now lifted,

you should let everyone leave the Desire Valley

to avoid any more trouble.

Father, everyone has been safely sent out of the city.

Now in the Desire Valley,

only disciples of Shushan Sect are left.

That's good.

Where's Lingyun? Why haven't I seen him?

Young Master Xie and Jing

have already broken out of the Desire Valley.

What do you mean? Where are they?

Father, Jing stole my Jade Handkerchief

and sneaked away with Xie.

I guess they went to Suyu Mountain.

The miasma is lifted,

it seems they succeeded.

Good heavens.

They went to Suyu Mountain?

He is too overconfident,

even took Jing along.

What if something bad happened

or they encountered any danger,

I would be so ashamed.

Alright, don't worry.

Since the miasma here is lifted,

it means on Suyu Mountain,

they had won the battle.

If Jing and Lingyun have really gone to Suyu Mountain,

they might run into the Sect Leader

and the Young Leader.

Nothing big would happen.

Anyway,

I'll whip him as punishment after he comes back.

The Young Leader also went to Suyu Mountain?

Am I dead?

Don't talk nonsense.

You're far from death.

Since I'm not dead,

why are you crying?

I'm not.

I just got pollen in my eyes.

Let me help you.

You better take care of yourself.

As the Young Master of Tielv Division,

you got knocked down after just one move.

Quite impressive.

I was just worried about you.

If I wasn't,

could I be ambushed by that person?

He said

there are mazes all around us.

Even the deity couldn't get out.

Will we

starve to death here?

Are you two sent by the Demon Lord?

Why does he lock us up here?

You two, say something!

What does it mean?

Is this our last meal?

Explain it to us.

These two must be mute.

Alright, don't mind them.

Eat it.

Since the Suyu Tripod is already broken,

yet we still haven't seen

the Sect Leader and Young Leader.

I wonder if they run into trouble on Suyu Mountain.

Please allow us, three guardians,

to go to the bottom of Suyu Mountain to investigate.

Well…

Senior Brother Murong.

How about I go with you?

Okay.

Report!

Sect Leader! The Sect Leader is back.

Go and take a look.

Sect Leader.

- Help your master inside. - Hurry.

Lixue.

Lixue.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

Lixue, Lixue.

Are you okay?

Are you hurt?

I believe you.

What?

About the matter of my father falling off a cliff…

I believe you.

Perhaps there is something hidden in this.

I came to save you today,

because I need to keep you alive

before everything is clear.

You cannot die.

But if you lie to me,

I will still kill you.

Okay.

I will

keep my life for you.

Lord, are you feeling better?

How is the Ancestor Hall situation?

Minghuang and the others have opened the Demonic Abyss.

What about Feng Lixue?

She and Mo Xiao fell into the Demonic Abyss together.

What?

Lord.

Why didn't you stop them?

Lord, Lixue has practiced

the Ice Sword Technique taught by Mo Xiao,

and has already begun to interfere with the spiritual power of Ice Cicada and made you hurt.

For me,

nothing is more important than ensuring your safety.

You know very well

how important the two of them are to my plans.

Lord.

Mo Xiao has now broken

the Suyu Tripod, Tianmo Sect's sacred artifact,

committing a major taboo.

Not to mention the two Star Lords,

even the Demonic Clan will not spare him.

And at this time,

Lixue rescued Mo Xiao

from the Ancestor Hall in public.

The two of them have become the target of everyone.

Lord, if you still protect them,

I'm afraid our plans would be exposed.

Lord, please think twice.

Lixue

can't stay in the Demonic Abyss.

Demonic Spirit?

That's right.

They are extremely bizarre,

living by absorbing people's spiritual power.

If we wake them up,

our spiritual power will be completely absorbed by them.

Be careful.

Be careful.

Lixue.

- Who are you? - And who are you?

I am a disciple of the Shushan Sect, Mo Xiao.

Shushan Sect?

You are a disciple of the Shushan Sect?

This is impossible.

Impossible.

Mo Xiao.

- Master. - Come with me.

- But Mo Xiao… - Shut up.

Who are you exactly?

Sir,

I am a disciple of the Shushan Sect, Mo Xiao.

May I ask who you are?

No, you are not a disciple of the Shushan Sect.

Everything here

cannot do anything to you at all.

What do you mean?

Demonic Spirit…

It must be the call of the Demonic Spirit.

You should leave.

Sir, please go with me.

No.

After you finish what you should do,

you will come back here.

I will be here

waiting for you.

What are you thinking? Aren't you hungry?

Hurry up and eat. This is delicious.

I've tasted it for you.

It is safe to eat.

What do you two mean?

You've been staring at us for so long,

and serving us such a good dish,

are you trying to make us

join your Tianmo Sect?

These two must be mute.

Eat it, Jing.

If you don't eat it, it will be a waste.

Put them away.

Wait, this soup is quite nice, let me have another sip.

Stop it.

Aren't you afraid of bloating your stomach?

Fine.

Why did you hit me?

It hurts.

My hand is all red.

What have you noticed?

Do you want to escape from here?

Do you have an idea?

Of course.

Great, we finally got out.

- I'm great, right? - Yes.

I'm really impressed.

Let's go.

This way.

Be careful.

If the two Star Lords really got into a fight with the Lord,

who should we listen to?

Of course, listen to the Lord.

The Lord is our head.

But he is not of Demonic Clan.

His disciple and that Shushan Sect disciple

are both trapped in the Demonic Abyss.

The Lord only saved his disciple Feng Lixue,

and doesn't seem to care about the destruction of our sacred artifact at all.

Tell me,

does he act like our Lord?

Can the two Star Lords

dismiss the Lord from his post?

But there's no such precedent in the Tianmo Sect.

Even if they can't dismiss him,

his disciple's position as Star Lord Shaohao

is definitely not secured.

What are you doing?

Hurry up and follow.

- Coming. - Let's go.

That Shushan Sect disciple they mentioned

is Mo Xiao, right?

Who else?

Then Mo Xiao must be trapped in the Demonic Abyss.

Where is the Demonic Abyss? We need to save him.

If the map is correct,

it should be under the Ancestor Hall of the Demonic Sect.

Where is the Ancestor Hall?

Follow them.

Drink it.

After returning from Tongming Island,

I have told you

the Ice Sword Technique is of the Shushan Sect,

clashing with your internal force.

If you use it,

the two forces will collide within your body

and you cannot withstand it at all.

Do not use it again.

Why don't you listen?

The situation was urgent,

and I had to do so.

Fortunately, I am here.

Drink the medicinal soup,

and you will recover soon.

What's wrong?

Master.

I have almost recovered.

I don't need it.

So,

you don't need me either?

Master, Mo Xiao is still trapped in the Demonic Abyss.

We cannot leave him alone.

Then what do you want to do?

You promised me

to use his hand to complete the plans.

And Mo Xiao's life is mine.

I did say that.

So before that,

no one can kill him.

If

I want to kill him?

Zisu.

How is the Sect Leader's injury?

He is wounded in the chest.

Luckily, the blade missed by two inches and did not harm his organs.

But he lost too much blood and his vital energy is greatly damaged.

That's why he is unconscious.

Father,

the affairs in the Desire Valley

have been done.

The people of various factions have all left one after another.

Now the Sect Leader is seriously injured,

why don't you and Master Xie

take him back to the Shushan Sect to recuperate first?

And I'll stay here for the Young Leader

and Jing and the others.

Then you stay here.

I will take the Sect Leader back to the Shushan Sect first.

Remember, if anything happens,

- tell me with the voice transmission. - Yes.

Master, we are the guardians of the Young Leader,

so we will stay here

to wait for Young Leader, Young Master Jing and Young Master Xie.

Alright.

Then you stay with Ce.

Jianchuan.

Your master is injured.

He needs someone to take care of him.

You come back to the Shushan Sect with us.

Got it.

Those of you staying behind,

must be careful.

Yes.

Mother.

How is the Ancestor Hall situation?

You want to ask about that Feng Lixue, right?

You asked me to wait here and not to go,

but I'm very worried.

Are you worried about me

or that Feng Lixue?

Of course, I am worried about you.

However,

is Lixue alright?

Mother.

Over these years,

you have been weak.

Living alone in Spiritual Palace is also to avoid handling affairs of the sect.

Why have you suddenly concerned about the affairs recently?

I think

you should take care of yourself.

You and I live alone in Spiritual Palace and do not engage in the affairs of the sect.

Do you remember

why is that?

To avoid the spies of Chong Guang

and secretly search for the missing elder brother.

Back then,

I endured the pain of losing my husband and son,

unable to free myself.

And I returned to the Lishui River with regrets,

but by chance at the riverside,

I found you who's dying.

I took you back to Suyu Mountain and raised you.

When you were eight,

I took you to the Ancestor Hall

and made you the youngest Star Guardian of the Ancestor Hall.

Why is that?

To let me search through ancient books

and find the way to communicate with people with bloodline,

hoping one day,

we can find the missing elder brother,

the true Demon Lord of the Demonic Clan.

I'm glad

that you still remember it.

It's been 18 years.

If my child were still alive,

he would surely

be as old as the Young Leader of Shushan Sect.

Eighteen years is really too long.

I really can't wait any longer.

Do you still remember

when you first went to Mang Mountain,

what was the first thing I did

every time I went to see you?

When a girl grows up,

the first thing she has to learn

is to pin up her own hair.

The first thing to learn

is to pin up my own hair.

The first time I pinned up my own hair,

and you taught me how.

I like beautiful things.

In this world,

time is too long.

If what I see

is not beautiful enough,

it can be destroyed.

Lixue.

Tonight I am going to practice,

and you come to guard for me.

Master, may I let Chang Ming guard tonight?

What?

Are you going to turn me down?

I'm feeling unwell

and want to return to the palace to rest.

Are you still my Lixue?

You are always my master.

Wonderful.

What a wonderful answer.

But you must remember,

you and I

are not just simple master and disciple.

You and I are one.

You

are

my Lixue

forever.

This is the place.

I think we are right this time.

I think so.

We've tried all the wrong ones.

If we're wrong again, it can only mean there's a problem with the map.

How dare you say so!

If you weren't that stupid,

we wouldn't have to crawl so many burrows.

Alright.

Let's get down.

I…

You first.

Then stay close to me.

Seal all the exits of the dungeon.

We must not let them escape.

- Chase! - Yes.

Jing, what's wrong?

I was hit by Minghuang's Lotus Strike.

Jing, hang on.

We can definitely get out.

Come on.

You take a rest.

Mo Xiao.

Mo Xiao.

It's really you. Why are you here?

I heard you were in danger in the Demonic Abyss

and I was going to save you. Are you okay?

I'm okay.

What are you doing here?

Where are the others?

How's the Desire Valley?

We thought to break the Suyu Tripod.

But it was broken by you before we found it.

Later I heard the demon soldiers

that you were in danger in the Demonic Abyss,

so I thought to save you.

Since you broke the Suyu Tripod,

the Desire Valley should be fine now.

Masters and the others must be safe.

It's good then. By the way,

how did you find this secret passage?

Do you remember once

I helped you steal the Divine Mechanism Diagram from the Temple of Divine Mechanism?

But, at the Fengyu Division,

I happened to see a landscape map of Suyu Mountain.

Luckily, I have a good memory.

I remembered after a few glances.

I didn't expect it to be useful now.

You were great.

Jing?

What's wrong with her?

She was hit by Minghuang's Lotus Strike.

It's all my fault. I should have let her down first.

Lingyun, how about this?

Let Jing rest well here.

- And you come with me. - Okay.

Mo Xiao, what's wrong with you?

Nothing.

In the Demonic Abyss just now,

my spiritual energy was absorbed by the Demonic Spirit

and I'm feeling a bit dizzy.

Jing, how are you?

I'm fine. Don't worry.

Hang on.

Once we get out,

I'll immediately have Zisu detoxify you.

Don't worry about me.

Go find the exit.

Okay.

- Let's go. - Let's go.

This is the Demonic Clan's secret passage?

That's right. When I saw

this place in the map,

I was also shocked.

I never thought that beneath the Tianmo Sect,

there is such a large underground passage,

almost running through the entire Suyu Mountain.

Now, we follow this main path,

go straight to the end and then turn right,

we will reach a deep pool under the Suyu Mountain.

Even if each exit is guarded by Demon soldiers,

I bet they can't guard that place.

Each exit?

You mean this secret passage

can lead to each palace in the Tianmo Sect?

Exactly.

Tranquility Palace of Chong Guang…

Mo Xiao, now,

saving our own lives is the priority.

I came here to save Lixue.

And I haven't fulfilled my promise yet.

Why are you so stubborn?

Lixue is now Chong Guang's beloved disciple.

She might not leave with you.

Who cares if you fulfill your promise?

I do.

You fool.

What a fool.

Got it?

Take Jing

to go down the mountain to heal first.

And I'll go to the Tranquility Palace.

Okay.

Stay safe.

We'll meet at the bottom of the mountain.

Jing, we can get out soon.

Hold your breath.

Okay.
