Are you okay? Have a seat.

Can you still walk?

Zhou Xiaoshan, aren't you supposed to give me a band-aid now?

How would men carry band-aids on them?

According to TV dramas,

you should be going to the convenience store to buy it for me.

- Get on. - Why?

I'm carrying you.

I'm warning you, I'm very heavy.

I can see that.

Get on.

Qiu Jianing.

What?

You're quite light.

[Do not step on metal fence]

It's raining. Should we wait here for a while?

Zhou Xiaoshan, if...

there really is an afterlife, what do you want to be?

Why did you suddenly become sentimental?

Then I'll talk to you about the progress of our experiments.

If there is an afterlife,

I want to be the sun.

Why do you want to be the sun?

- What about you? - Wear it. It's a bit cold.

The rain is not going to stop anytime soon. Let's go.

I don't need it. I really don't need it.

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

I'm better at looking after myself than you.

Then go back quickly first. I'm going up now.

Go ahead.

Zhou Xiaoshan.

Zhou Xiaoshan.

- What's wrong? - Qiu Jianing.

Stay here. Don't come out.

Your scar...

- I was naughty. - Naughty?

This isn't a small scar.

Why are you here?

I was scared you might catch a cold so I brought some medicine.

You don't have other thoughts?

- Bye. - Qiu Jianing.

What?

How about you stay?

Zhou Xiaoshan, please be respectful.

I'll sleep on the sofa tonight and you can sleep on the bed.

If I break out in a fever in the middle of the night, I can call out to you.

Why are you blushing?

You're not thinking of other things, right?

Which of us should be respectful then?

I'm leaving first.

Come out.

You followed me all day. What do you want to do?

Brother, you lied to me. You've been together with her all this time.

You two are together, right?

I should've figured this out a long time ago.

When you mention her

and the way you've changed recently,

you must have fallen in love with her. Right?

Have you forgotten that you still have a mission?

Have you forgotten what your real mission is?

How can you be like this?

You believed it?

I'm relieved that you believed it.

Mo Li, you both are women.

If you believe me, Qiu Jianing will believe me too.

I've already completely gained her trust.

You're saying that this is a trap you created?

You're pretending to fall in love with Qiu Jianing to gain her trust?

Have a seat.

Mo Li, the lab has started the double-blind experiment now.

Double-blind experiment? What is that?

The researchers won't be able to tell the mice with cancer from the healthy ones.

Lab mice can be divided into different groups.

There're twenty of each gender within a group.

The researcher injecting the serum can't tell which is the drug and which is the placebo.

The real formula is concealed in the random astronomical numbers.

Only those in the most senior positions know about it.

So, you want to manipulate Qiu Jianing by tricking her into loving you?

- Will that work? - At the moment, there's no method better than this.

Mo Li, you can report all of this to Uncle Zha,

but remember, everything I'm doing

is all for the mission.

Brother, you already know it all.

Uncle Zha wouldn't trust everything in me alone,

to complete such a big mission?

He would naturally ask you to watch over all of my actions.

I'm not here to watch you. I'm here to help.

I'm not blaming you.

I know that you have no choice.

But you kissed her during the day.

You also carried her,

so I... I just thought that you really loved her.

I've never failed before.

This is my final mission.

I will definitely not allow myself to make any mistakes.

Brother... sorry.

Okay then. You should leave now.

Right, don't come again in the future.

If someone else sees you, it'll raise suspicion.

Do your colleagues still not know about you two?

The more people that know, the more likely I'll be exposed.

It'll be more difficult for me to get out of it.

Then next time, I won't come unless you tell me to.

Qiu Jianing, I won't let anyone hurt you. I definitely won't.

As long as Brother Xiaoshan doesn't like that woman, then when the mission ends,

Let's eat. Have some beef.

Hello, Xiaoshan.

So the formula is ready?

Yes.

Do it.

What is it?

The colors of the reagent have been narrowed down from seven or eight

to only blue and yellow yesterday.

If I've guessed it correctly,

One of them is the prototype of the formula.

What are you waiting for?

Since we're doing double blind experiments,

I'm not sure which of the two is the right one.

Haven't you got the password already?

According to the experiment plan I got,

they'll inject the formula into the animal cells,

then make sure it goes well based on the animals' reactions.

Then the person in charge will write up the report and upload it to the server.

So the upload has to be after the animal experiment.

Yes.

Xiaoshan, if our bosses are right,

Wang Qitian will likely apply for the patent before the animal experiment is done.

We can't wait that long. You need to take action now.

Got it?

But Uncle Zha—

Listen, if Wang Qitian has applied for the patent successfully,

everything we've done goes in vain.

You must acquire the exact formula ASAP.

Do you hear me?

- I'll try my best. - No.

Not trying your best, you must do it!

All you do every day is inject the mice with the reagent every day.

Don't you find this boring?

You call this boring? At least I'm dealing with live animals.

All you do is record data every day. That's more boring.

You're right.

How come you have time to hang out with me today?

Where's your man?

He's busy.

With what?

I didn't ask.

You didn't ask or he didn't tell?

What's the difference?

If you didn't ask, then you're having a big heart.

If he didn't tell, then there's something shady about him.

Which one describes you two?

I didn't ask.

- What about his situation? Have you asked? - What situation?

Like, his past relationships

or his parents' occupations

or why did he give up living abroad

and choose to come back to China?

No idea.

Qiu Jianing, you're getting yourself to be cheated!

You don't know about his background. People don't know about your relationship either.

I'm almost certain that this man definitely is onto you for something.

Say, why do you always think the worst of people?

Brother, I heard that you've acquired the formula. Does that mean our mission is accomplished?

It's not that simple.

I've got the reagent to analyze.

But I'm not sure if I got enough samples.

Why didn't you take more then?

One reagent for a lab mouse.

I swapped the reagents with water.

If one mouse's data went wrong out of five hundred,

it'd be considered as lab contamination or human error.

But if I took too many, they'd notice.

So what if they notice? After this, you won't see Qiu Jianing anymore.

It's not as simple as you think.

Sister, why is Zhou Xiaoshan with my trainer?

What the heck? Who's this woman?

I don't know.

Qiu Jianing, I hit the jackpot.

Zhao Xiaoshan is indeed a two-timer.

What are you doing?

I'm okay with whatever you want to eat.

No.

What are you afraid of?

Take me home.

Stay still. I'm telling you!

How could you do this to my sister?

Jiaxin, you didn't have class today, did you?

Thank God I rescheduled my class today.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to discover between you and Zhou Xiaoshan.

You are mistaken, Jiaxin.

Me? What am I mistaken?

No wonder you offered me a fifty percent off discount.

So it's you who set my sister up.

Looks like you have no clue.

Let me tell you then. She called my sister one day and said

she had signed up at some MMA school,

and that she won a fifty percent off discount.

My sister was wondering.

She had never signed up at any MMA school.

Come to think of it, you only did this to approach my sister. Right, Mo Li?

Is it true?

Jiaxin.

This is a misunderstanding.

Mo Li is my younger sister.

Sister?

Nonsense. You've never mentioned it before.

I've always wanted to introduce you to each other.

But I've been too busy with work lately and don't have time.

Is that right, Mo Li?

Jiaxin, we're in a rush. We have to go now.

Let's go.

What the heck is this?

Are you... all right?

Why did she look so familiar?

Have I met her somewhere before?
