There's a couple of things I was, uh, thinking about.

>> Brooke: Yeah?

>> Brooke: Well, I do have some appointments later, but I can

always cancel them to spend time with my sexy husband.

>> Ridge: Yeah?

>> Brooke: Mm.

>> Ridge: 'Cause I was thinking we could do a little bit

>> Brooke: Oh, that?

>> Ridge: Then maybe some of that.

>> Brooke: Okay.

Oh, that feels good.

>> Ridge: But before we do that, we should maybe

take a moment to talk.

Is this something I need to sit down for?

>> Ridge: You can sit, stand, whatever.

I hope it's not gonna be a big thing.

It's, um...

It's about Hope and Thomas.

>> Brooke: What is it?

>> Sally: [ Sighs ] Thomas told me he was

still in love with Hope.

>> Wyatt: And -- and you weren't gonna say anything?

>> Sally: I didn't think it through.

>> Wyatt: You should have shut it down, is what you should have

done.

>> Sally: I told him that he wasn't thinking straight.

>> Wyatt: Oh, come on.

Thomas knows exactly what he is doing right now.

He is making a play for Hope while Liam is in Paris.

>> Sally: I should have said something.

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

I mean, what is with that guy?

Like, who does he think he is, going after my brother's wife

after everything that they have been through?

>> Thomas: This is the engagement ring I tried to give

you in Mexico.

You told me i-it wasn't the right time, and that maybe

someday you might feel different.

Well, I know it's not the right time, but I want you to know

how serious I am about us, about my commitment to you.

>> Hope: Thomas...

>> Thomas: I know.

You can't accept it now.

But it's a symbol of my dream for our future.

A future you can have with Douglas and me.

♪♪ >> Brooke: All right.

What -- what about Thomas and Hope?

I know that Taylor has this crazy fantasy that Hope's

marriage will break up, and Thomas would make his move,

but that's ridiculous.

>> Ridge: Thomas doesn't think it's ridiculous.

>> Hope: What do you mean?

>> Ridge: Well, they used to date each other.

They were almost married.

So, apparently, he never got over Hope.

>> Hope: Has everybody forgotten that Hope is married to Liam?

>> Liam: Boy, Kelly really likes that little bear, doesn't she?

>> Amelia: Mm-hmm.

She never sleeps without it.

>> Liam: [ Chuckles ] Yeah, well, if we ever lose it,

God help us all.

>> Amelia: Steffy does have a backup, just in case.

>> Liam: Really?

That's smart.

>> Amelia: Are the girls still fast asleep?

>> Liam: Yeah, but they'll be -- they'll be up by the time Steffy

and her mom come back from the market.

>> Amelia: It's nice that you could come to Paris, Liam.

Spend time with Steffy and them.

>> Liam: Yeah. It's -- It's nice to be here.

A little hard to leave Hope.

I mean, I'm still worried about her.

>> Wyatt: Thomas doesn't give a damn that Hope is married.

He doesn't even care.

>> Sally: He wants a mother for his son.

>> Wyatt: Great.

So maybe he should find someone single.

>> Sally: He thinks that Liam should be with Steffy

and the girls.

>> Wyatt: Right, right.

'Cause that's convenient.

Like, he doesn't care about Hope or Liam or their -- their

commitment to each other.

And the fact that you knew this -- like, how come you

didn't come running to me?

>> Sally: I only had a few conversations.

I assumed it wasn't gonna go anywhere.

>> Wyatt: You didn't think I needed to know this?

Like, you didn't think that I would want to defend my brother

while he's gone?

>> Hope: You said it yourself -- I'm married.

>> Thomas: For now.

>> Hope: The ring is beautiful, but that is all it can be.

I -- [ Scoffs ] I-I can't believe you kept it

all this time.

>> Thomas: Somehow, I knew I'd want to give it to you

again someday.

>> Sally: Honestly, I didn't realize it was gonna be

that big of a deal to you.

>> Wyatt: Rea-- How could you not?

Thomas is making a move on Hope right now, and -- and --

and I have to find out about it by accident with a text on your

phone.

We're being completely honest here?

Is that what we're doing? Fine.

Then there's something that you need to know.

When I saw that text, I had no idea what you and Thomas, what

was going on between you guys, so I-I didn't know what to do.

I-I went to Flo's -- >> Sally: I don't --

I don't want to talk about Flo right now.

Look, bottom line -- I was trying to be a friend to

Thomas.

He needed someone to talk to, so I was trying to be there for him

as a friend.

>> Wyatt: Oh.

>> Sally: I was trying to be the bigger person after everything

that he put me through.

I had no idea that he was still in love with Hope, I swear.

>> Wyatt: You had no idea until he spilled his guts

and told you?

I mean, come on, Sally.

>> Sally: [ Sighs ] >> Wyatt: I can't believe you

allowed yourself to be a part of this.

And -- and -- and Thomas is going after Hope, and you're

actually encouraging it.

>> Sally: Okay, you have every right to be mad at me.

All right? I made a mistake.

>> Wyatt: [ Sighs ] >> Sally: I apologize.

I'm sorry.

I don't know what else to say.

>> Brooke: Hope is committed to Liam.

She is in love with Liam.

She has no interest whatsoever in Thomas.

>> Ridge: That's up to her.

>> Brooke: There really is no question.

>> Ridge: [ Sighs ] Liam and Steffy had Phoebe,

and they have Kelly, and maybe...

>> Brooke: Maybe what?

>> Ridge: I'm just saying -- >> Brooke: You're just saying

what?

That it's okay for Thomas to sabotage Hope and Liam?

>> Liam: You know, Hope's the one who encouraged me to come to

Paris in the first place.

And I'm really grateful for the opportunity to --

to spend time with the kids -- and Steffy, too.

But...

It's not like I don't miss my wife.

>> Amelia: Well, you two have been such a heartbreaking

experience.

>> Liam: Well, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

It's been hardest on Hope.

>> Amelia: I can't even imagine.

>> Liam: Sometimes I think it's getting better.

I want to believe that Hope is getting better.

But I-I got to remind myself, she has this huge hole in her

heart.

And I see her struggling every day.

>> Amelia: Well, a loss like that takes time.

Part of her may never be the same.

>> Liam: I, uh -- I try to be as strong as I can for Hope,

but...

I know that we still have to navigate our way through this.

And...

And there's no reason we shouldn't be able to do that

given what we've already survived, but I...

I don't know.

I-I wish I did more to protect Hope.

I think she's really vulnerable right now.

>> Hope: I'm touched by everything you've said to me,

Thomas.

I mean, you're a great guy.

And you're a loving, devoted father.

And the fact that Caroline wanted me to be a part of

Douglas' life, it means -- It means so much to me.

And of course I want to be there for him as much as possible.

And for you, too.

You're going through this tough situation and trying to navigate

your way through this and doing everything you can for your son.

But that's what I think all of this is about.

This is about the life you want for Douglas -- your love for

him, not me.

>> Thomas: Of course I'm worried about my son.

But I meant what I said, Hope.

I love you today as much as I did back then.

There is no one else I'm interested in.

Only you.

My love will never be divided between you and another woman.

>> Ridge: I only know what Thomas told me.

He never got over Hope.

What he does with that information, that's --

that's up to them.

These kids, they're gonna do what they want to do.

>> Brooke: I just don't want them to make a big mistake.

>> Ridge: I don't want that, either.

But...

They'll figure it out.

We -- we can't be my mother in all this, you know what I mean?

I mean, I love that woman, but, man, she -- she put her

two cents everywhere, and I just -- I don't want that

to be us.

We can't do that to our kids.

>> Amelia: It's sweet to see how much you care about Hope.

>> Liam: Of course I do.

She's my wife.

I want her to be better.

I want her to be happy.

>> Amelia: Well, she's lucky to have you.

>> Liam: That goes both ways.

>> Amelia: Can I be honest with you?

I-I do respect your commitment to Hope.

And I know I've said this before, and I probably shouldn't

be saying it again, but, um...

Being the girls' nanny over this past year, I feel like I've

gotten to know you and Steffy fairly well.

And I see the way you are with each other, how bonded you are

over the girls...

>> Liam: Well, we're doing okay at the co-parenting thing.

>> Amelia: It might be more than that, Liam.

I think you're still in love with Steffy.

And you don't have to answer that.

I know you feel you need to be there for Hope.

[ Sighs ] Just know that...

Steffy would never say it, but she needs you, too.

And there is no doubt those two little girls need a father.

>> Thomas: Over the years, we saw both our moms

fighting over my dad.

We know what that back-and-forth is like.

It gets old real quick.

It's no way to live your life.

>> Hope: Liam, Steffy, and I have kind of moved past all

that.

>> Thomas: I know you've been trying to make it work.

And, yes, Liam still loves you.

But he loves my sister, too.

And they have a child together.

And now Phoebe's a part of the family.

>> Hope: And I want him to spend as much time as

possible with them.

That's why I urged him to go to Paris.

>> Thomas: So you're okay that he's over there with Steffy?

>> Hope: He's there to be with the kids.

>> Thomas: He's got this whole other life with Steffy.

How do you fit into that?

Look, I'm not saying he's a bad guy, but he'll never be

completely over Steffy.

He'll never be able to fully commit to you

the way that I can.

>> Wyatt: I am really disappointed in you right now.

>> Sally: I screwed up.

I-I never should have talked to Thomas in the first place.

I should have ended the conversation as soon as I saw

where it was going.

But I didn't.

Okay?

I let him go on and on about Hope, and how he still cares

about her, and how he thinks that she should be with him

as opposed to Liam.

And, yes.

Yes, okay, it -- it would be good for Douglas and the girls.

But it -- I mean, the way that he's going about it --

>> Wyatt: Is wrong.

>> Sally: [ Sighs ] >> Wyatt: It's wrong.

>> Sally: Yes.

And it doesn't change the fact that Hope is still a

very married woman.

>> Wyatt: Ugh!

I mean, this is -- This is just so messed up.

I mean...

I know Thomas is having a hard time with everything right now,

especially after losing Caroline, but what about my

brother?

Do you not remember what happened to his last marriage

and how it ended?

Another man literally moved in on his wife, and it destroyed

him.

It destroyed my entire family, and I had to pick up the pieces.

And now Thomas is making a move on Hope right now, and I just --

I mean, the fact that you didn't even bring this to me is just --

it makes me not -- >> Sally: It makes you not trust

me.

God, I hate that!

I hate that you feel like you can't have faith in my anymore.

You have been so good to me, Wyatt.

You have gone out of your way to make me so happy, and to be a

good boyfriend.

And I let you down.

[ Sighs ] Maybe your mom is right.

Maybe I should move out.

A little space...

might be good for both of us.

>> Thomas: I didn't mean to put you on the spot.

I hope what I said won't keep you away from Douglas.

>> Hope: I would never let that happen.

>> Thomas: As much as I know how good you and I could be

together, and how much Douglas would love to have you as his

mom...

It's a lot to consider.

I wouldn't want to pressure you or make you feel uncomfortable.

But we wouldn't just be doing it for us.

We'd be doing it for Caroline.

Fulfilling her wish.

We'd be creating a better environment for Phoebe and

Kelly.

Bringing their parents together under one roof.

You know, uniting the family.

Finally putting an end to the instability and -- and

uncertainty in all of our lives.

We'd be building the right future for all of us.

>> Hope: Thomas -- >> Thomas: Look, I realize I'm

probably overwhelming you.

I believe in destiny.

I think you were meant to share your life with Douglas and me.

One day soon, when you're ready, I hope to put this ring

on your finger.

>> Sally: I'll come back for the rest of my stuff.

Look, I know it doesn't mean much at this point, but...

I really am so sorry.

I betrayed your trust when you have been nothing but

amazing to me.

[ Voice breaking ] You literally changed my life.

And I owed you 100% honesty and transparency, and I failed.

[ Sighs ] I really don't want to say

goodbye to you.

And it kills me to walk out that door.

But I feel like, if I stay, I'm only gonna make things worse

for both of us.

But even though I am leaving, make no mistake --

I love you so much, Wyatt.

What's going on?

>> Wyatt: Well, it's Hope.

>> Liam: Hope? Is -- What about Hope? Is she okay?

>> Wyatt: I don't know. Uh...

He's trying to reunite you and Steffy so that he can have Hope

all for himself a-and Douglas can have a mother or something.

>> Liam: Hold on. Wait. Are -- You're serious right now?

>> Wyatt: Yes.

I just found out myself.

Dude, you got to come home right now.

Like, I know it's been nice for you to be there with Steffy and

the kids and everything, but you really need to come home.

Hope needs you.

>> Liam: Unbelievable.

I was feeling really overwhelmed with the ring and

you admitting your feelings and talking about a future together.

But the more I thought about it...

I mean, I couldn't even get to the car before coming back.

Liam needs to be with Steffy and the girls, and -- and I want to

be a part of Douglas' life, and...

I want to be a part of your life, too, Thomas.
