Mr. Mason,

And I'd do anything
to keep from hurting him.

a director of that company,

murdered George Baxter

in order to gain possession
of those diamonds.

We will introduce witnesses

to prove that this murder
was done with premeditation,

deliberation
and with diabolical cunning.

And on the strength of our evidence,

we will ask for a verdict
of first-degree murder

I was in a rowboat,
fishing right near the pier.

you could see what happened on it?

Well, I saw a man up on the pier
roll a body off

and then he kicked something
after it.

Well, because it had arms and legs
and looked like a body.

is obviously much different

to have seen you as he did

and still have committed the murder.

indicate that the body of the deceased

was in the trunk
of the defendant's car.

have possibly prevented the defendant

with $500,000 worth of diamonds

which were brought to this country

of the diamonds from Mr. Baxter

and then disappear in Mexico.

then recruited James Kincaid.

And he then replaced Jefferson.

Baxter realised something was wrong,

refused to hand over the diamonds.

So Kincaid
then disposed of Mr. Baxter.

wild-eyed, dramatic grandstand play
