When Zach and I got back
from Vegas,

I started taking
pregnancy tests non-stop.

My last pregnancy test
that I took,

I saw a second line,
a very faint line.

So I went into the
doctor's office.

And she said,
let's give you a blood test,

which will indicate
if you are pregnant or not.

I'm just waiting for the
blood work to come back.

I think obviously, we would
be really, really happy

and excited.

But right now, I have to focus
on Ryder and her health.

Ryder has been complaining
about her chest.

She does routine EKGs
and heart echoes.

With VLCAD, it can
trigger other things.

So we do do these routine
checkups just to make sure

that her heart isn't enlarged.

It's not going too fast,
it's not going too slow.

How'd that doctor visit go?

- The nurse did her EKG,
comes back, and goes,

"So the doctor's gonna
come in to see you."

that they ran the test twice,

and they found
something irregular.

She's like, "You guys
need to go in this week

to see a cardiologist."

So Ryder has another
appointment in two days.

that road with my, uh--

I've done an open
heart surgery before.

And it's never fun.

And it's scary, you know?

completely understand

her diagnosis
with muscular dystrophy.

So I think we get to talk
about going to the game.

Your doctor said if you're
walking long distances,

you use your wheelchair.

Then I just won't go
to the games then.

- What is wrong with walking
around with the wheelchair?

- 'Cause I don't need to.

If I don't need to,
I'm not going to.

It's not as far as you think.

It's really not.

- You have to think
about your future, too.

What you need to realize

you do have muscular dystrophy.

And if you do too much,
it becomes life threatening.

You know, you weren't supposed
to live to the age of 16

at first, right?

And then after our parents
followed the rules

and have helped you,
you are able to.

If you continue to know
what's better for you,

you'll be able to live
a healthy, normal life.

- But I know what's
better for me, Aleeah.

They're not letting me
do what I know.

- I promise you, your mom
knows more than you do know.

my mom doesn't know my body

the way I know my body.

- Did she not fall in the
kitchen the other day?

and easier for her

Corey and I have conversations
all the time about this.

If me and her dad could have
this conversation with her,

it just shows, even though
we're in separate homes,
