So that was a full wedding day breakdown

for you and I hope you learned a

lot watching that and I can tell you

that Lani and I learned a ton just

watching it ourselves because it's the first time

we've actually seen ourselves working what we look

like what we look like and it wasn't

masks with masks yeah but it was really

interesting to watch um it's the first time

I've seen myself behind the scenes and and

you know you learn a lot from culling

a wedding but you learn even more from

watching yourself shoot a wedding so here's what

I hope you got from it first I

hope you saw how hard we worked okay

we literally had our cameras up for about

how many hours did that wedding end up

being 14 it's 14 or 15 hours which

is actually a shorter wedding for us um

but I hope you see how hard we

worked in order to get the photos that

we were getting there was no one click

booms right there was no visual idea in

our brain that we were we were able

to execute like that we had to work

hard for everything that we wanted to get

yeah not just I mean you know if

we if we have any expectations before we

get to the wedding it's one that we're

going to be working hard like it's going

to be hard work and two would be

that it's going to be a struggle yeah

we know going in we're going to miss

shit right we're gonna well that's the second

thing I hope you got from the video

is that you saw the struggle struggle it's

part of the process it's part of the

process and a wedding day for us is

a complete emotional roller coaster ride and this

wedding was no different in fact this wedding

was probably a little bit more of an

emotional roller coaster ride than most weddings um

well the valleys were deep the summits weren't

necessarily higher the valleys might have been deep

yeah and then the third thing I hope

you learned is that you never stop learning

right and that that that's the continuation it's

a continual learning process for Lanny and I

as well right it's never like we reached

a point in our career where we stopped

learning new techniques or stop learning how to

be more in the moment or stop learning

how to be present in the scene or

reading people's emotions right so we learn from

every single wedding we shoot some weddings the

lessons are really easy and and and noticeable

some weddings the lessons are harder to see

and and one of the lessons that we

have learned and I think it helped us

at this wedding is to trust in our

process versus worrying about the results right like

if we were if we'd gotten too caught

up in thinking about the end results and

the photos and the you know their slideshow

and their gallery um it would have been

even more stressful right than to just trust

that if we do the right things if

we do what we do right if we

if we follow our process if we you

know get close and work hard right and

stay stay in the moment and you know

stay curious and then edit the way we

edit and yada yada we're gonna get to

the results we get to we just have

to trust in the process so next module

we're going to get into our workflow right

so we're basically going to shift gears away

from the shooting now into our systems and

workflow and everything that happens right from the

very beginning before they even hire us until

the point at which they hire us and

then everything that happens leading up to the

wedding and then we'll move into the post
