Lucy's Organic Market
farm-to-table experience!

Thank you so much for coming.

It is my honour to introduce
the host of tonight's event,

the owner of Lucy's Market,

and my best friend,

Leah Alexander.

(applause)

(sighs)
- Good evening, everyone.

And yes, again, thank you
so much for being here.

Seeing all your faces
tonight just...

it means the world to me.

I've always dreamed
of a night like tonight.

Where people could come together

to share and laugh,

and enjoy a home-cooked meal
straight from the garden.

It's been a long road
to get here tonight.

And of course,
like anything else,

it hasn't come
without its hurdles.

But if I've learned anything
this past few weeks,

it's that it's okay
to lean on others for support.

Asking for help isn't
something to be ashamed of.

It's... in fact,
something to be celebrated.

Which is why, tonight,

I would like to celebrate
all of you.

I might not know
what the future holds,

but one thing
I do know for certain

is that Lucy's is more
than just a market.

It's a community.

Yes, there is a lot more to do,
of course,

but thanks to every one of you,

we are one step closer.

So as that old saying goes,
"To plant a seed today

is to believe in tomorrow."

And I think we all certainly
did that.
