FUNERAL HALL

Father.

You've been killed by your enemy.

The three of us swear to find out

who the killer is,

and we will take revenge for you.

Young Lady.

What is it?

There's a young man outside.

He said he came from far away to pay last respects to Master.

Who is he?

He's waiting outside now. Shall we invite him inside?

He comes from far away. We should ask him in.

YGS.

Ya Nan.

Go inside with Chao Nan.

Our young ladies are in mourning and can't greet you.

Please accept our apology.

May I know your name, sir?

-Prince Wu Yi is my father. -So you are Young Master Lu.

My apology for not offering a warm welcome.

-Young Master Lu, please take a seat. -Please.

Young Master Lu, what brings you here?

My father sent me to pay respects

and offer his condolences to you sisters.

My gratitude to Prince Wu Yi and Young Master Lu.

Also,

-about Uncle Gan's treasure-- -What treasure?

His purple light sword.

Since he's dead now,

you should offer the sword to His Majesty.

This is our family heirloom treasure.

Why should we offer it to the emperor?

It's a serious offense if you don't offer the sword.

Your whole family might be executed.

I think you better give it to His Majesty.

Oh no, the purple light sword is gone!

It was here a minute ago. How did it suddenly disappear?

Who took it?

-Come on, men! -Yes.

-Tie them up. -Yes.

Stop!

Take the sword out.

Take it out.

Young Lady, your cousin from Huashan wants to see you.

He wants to offer condolences to Master.

Him?

-Let him in. -Yes.

Stop!

No one is allowed here.

It's really a precious sword.

Get away!

-Stop! -Who are you?

Cousin Xu Jin.

-He's Prince Wu Yi's son, he's here-- -I know.

He wants to take the purple light sword.

Nonsense

The sword should be presented to the emperor.

Lu Tian Xia.

You and your father have done many evil deeds

and plotted her father's death.

Now, you take advantage of this opportunity,

trying to steal the purple light sword.

Well, well. Now, you all have offended His Majesty.

Come on, arrest them all!

Yes

Sheng Nan, don't let any of them get away.

-Fight! -Come on!

Go inside!

Get them!

-Over there! -Sheng Nan.

Ya Nan!

Xu Jin, watch out for the purple light sword.

Xu Jin, you've been hurt by his poison dart.

I'm okay.

Go away!

Chao Nan, don't go!

-Chao Nan! -Chao Nan!

-Ya Nan. -Chao Nan.

Chao Nan! Sheng Nan, Chao Nan was hit by a poison dart.

-Chao Nan. -Don't panic.

Sheng Nan, take her to her room.

-Have the injured taken the medicine? -Yes, they have.

-Good, you go take care of them. -Yes.

Chao Nan, lie down.

Chao Nan, turn over.

Don't move.

It's okay, I feel much better now.

This is the antidote, drink it.

Thanks, Ya Nan.

If you had not arrived in time,

the purple light sword

would have been stolen by those bastards.

I saw Lu Tian Xia and his gang

approaching Fort Gan on my way here.

Something told me they were up to no good,

so I followed him,

trying to see what they were up to.

I don't think Lu Tian Xia and his father will give up so easily.

Don't be scared, it doesn't help to be afraid.

We can take care of them.

If they come here again,

I'm afraid we're no match for them.

Xu Jin, we can go ask Uncle for help. What do you think?

That's fine,

but it takes ten days to get there from here.

Go as quickly as possible.

Ask my father to send more people.

Okay, I'm going right away.

Let me tell Sheng Nan first.

MOUNTAIN GOD TEMPLE

Who are you guys?

Kid, haven't you ever heard of my name?

Let me tell you, I'm Fierce Tiger.

I have kicked an island to the east ocean

and lost one leg,

so people call me Crippled Tiger.

I'm One-Eyed Tiger.

This whip will send you to hell.

I'm Drunken Tiger.

I'll chop you up like chopping melons.

I'm Sick Tiger.

What do you want?

You woke us up. I'll beat you.

You little brat!

Hey, little brat.

Dare to come close,

and I'll kill you.

Drag him down.

Now you know our power.

Fierce Tiger, this guy looks poor.

I think we can't get anything valuable from him. Let's kill him.

Do you have any money?

Money?

I don't have it now,

but I know of a place full of money and jewels.

Just wondering, however, if you have the guts to take it.

Say, where is this place?

You treat me like that.

-How can I tell you? -Fine.

Let's sit down and talk.

If you deceive us, you'll surely die.

Listen, everybody.

This is not only a place full of treasures,

it also has three young beauties.

They are very beautiful, like goddesses.

Young Master Lu, take us there now.

Yes!

There's no hurry.

Come along to my home and meet my father.

Then we'll take some more men with us.

That place also has something very precious.

What is it?

The purple light sword.

Oh, then I want nothing

but that purple light sword.

You can have all the jewels and the women.

Who are you?

I'm from Fort Gan.

-I want to see Master Xu. -What for?

-There's something I have to tell him. -Okay. This way, please.

Ya Nan?

Why are you here?

Greetings, Uncle.

What happened? Tell me.

Xu Jin is injured at our home.

-How come he's injured? -He...

Let's go inside and talk.

A rare treasure indeed.

Prince Wu Yi and his son killed my father

because they were after this precious sword.

People like Prince Wu Yi and his son

will be killed sooner or later.

They have done so many evil deeds.

In order to grab more power,

they forced my father out of the imperial city

and made us live in Huashan.

Xu Jin.

Put it in a safe place.

It must be Ya Nan and Uncle.

-Come on, let's go meet them. -Okay.

MOURNING

Surrender the purple light sword now,

or I'll destroy Fort Gan and kill everyone.

Don't even think about this.

I don't think you have the guts to resist. Get them!

Watch out.

They are all martial arts experts.

Hey, guys! Are these two ladies pretty?

-Pretty! -They are so pretty.

She's holding the purple light sword.

Go, the sword belongs to the one who gets it first.

-Great, let's go! -Let's go!

Chao Nan,

don't be afraid.

Get them!

-Burn the place. -Burn it!

FORT GAN

MOURNING

Chao Nan, come in.

Sheng Nan.

Sheng Nan.

You stay here.

Xu Jin.

-How about Sheng Nan? -Don't worry, you stay here.

I'll go look for her.

Sheng Nan! Sheng Nan!

Sheng Nan.

Sheng Nan.

Sheng Nan.

Sheng Nan.

Lu Tian Xia, how dare you!

Trying to betray us.

So you don't believe this is a fake?

Then give me

the fake sword.

You really want this fake sword?

Don't listen to him.

This is really our purple light sword.

It must be Prince Wu Yi and his son.

Let's split up and track them down.

Then we'll get our revenge.

Sheng Nan!

YONGWEI SHOP

How come the streets are deserted?

The doors of all the shops and houses are shut.

YIHE CLINIC

Let's see if we can find a physician

to treat your wound there.

HONGYUAN SHOP

STATIONARY AND ANTIQUES

JIXIANG STREET

YIHE CLINIC

Hey pal Yes?

What is it?

We're just passing through here and looking for a physician.

I'm really sorry.

The physician has been kidnapped.

What?

Kidnapped?

Do you know who kidnapped him?

A gang of bandits robbed us last night and kidnapped the physician as well.

They said they wanted him to treat their chief.

YIHE CLINIC

Pal!

Can we stay here and wait for him?

I'm not sure if he'll be back.

Maybe you should find someone else.

Hey, look.

Isn't that the physician coming back?

Yes, yes.

VALUABLE HERBS

You're back.

Those bandits are so unreasonable.

They don't pay for the treatment, and...

What do they want?

Physician Guo, is it serious?

It's an injury caused by some weapon.

Luckily, it's only a superficial wound.

After resting and not moving for a few days, she will be fine.

Thank you, Physician Guo.

Pal, is there any inn around?

There isn't any inn around here.

It's getting late now.

My leg is injured and I can't walk.

Xu Jin, what should we do?

If you have no place to stay,

you may stay here for the night.

Thank you so much, Physician Guo.

But let me remind you.

If anything happens here,

please just ignore it.

Otherwise, you'll get into trouble.

-Don't get me into any trouble either. -Please don't worry.

We'll leave tomorrow.

That's good.

-Niu, show them to their room upstairs. -Okay.

Please come with me.

Thank you.

-Go to bed and get some rest. -Okay.

Pal, what happened to this town?

Physician!

You said you'd be back with the medicine.

I've been waiting,

and you didn't show up.

Sir, it takes some time to prepare the medicine.

-When will it be ready? -Well...

Sir, in order to prepare the medicine,

he hasn't even had time to eat.

Stop making excuses for him.

Damn you!

Sir.

-Sir. -Come along with me now.

No more babbling,

or I'll whip your head off.

HurrY,

leave now!

Pal.

Don't come down, go up.

You're hurt. Let me help you.

No, I'll do it myself.

Now go upstairs.

I'm afraid that the bandit might come back.

If he sees you, it'll be all over for us.

Please, don't get us in any more trouble.

Okay.

-Xu Jin. -Wait here, I'm going to follow them.

Let me go too.

No.

You haven't recovered yet.

I'm just going to find out more,

then we'll get the sword back together and rescue Sheng Nan.

Don't worry, I'll be back soon.

Xu Jin, be careful.

Go, hurry up!

Walk!

Go!

Walk faster.

Hurry UP!

MAOFENG WINERY

-Good wine! -Cheers!

-One more round. -Sure.

Five!

You lose.

Five!

Ten!

You lose again.

Get me out of here, and I'll give you 500 taels.

You're dying, and you still try to cheat people.

She's mine.

No way. I got her here.

No. I like her, and she likes me.

We ought to get married.

-Damn it, she's mine. -She's mine.

Shut up!

You all have a duel. The winner will keep her.

-Great, let's have a duel! -Come on!

Come on!

Come on!

I'll come back tomorrow morning.

I'll kill you if you don't come tomorrow.

I wouldn't dare not to.

Get lost!

We have no grudge.

Why are you treating me like this?

This old guy is really strong.

Now, I want to know how strong he is.

Hey!

I still need him to treat my wound.

Hey, let's drink.

Have a drink with me. I like you so much.

-Come on. -Stop!

She's mine. Nobody can touch her.

You have to try this if you don't believe me.

-Cheers! -Come on.

Old man!

Treat my wounds

so I can marry that girl, understand?

Yes

Get lost! Let him go.

Come here.

Have a drink with me.

-Come here. -Come.

What are you staring at?

YIHE CLINIC VALUABLE HERBS

-Xu Jin. -Why haven't you slept?

Have you found Sheng Nan?

Yes

But the place is heavily guarded.

It's not that easy

-to get her out. -What should we do?

They might kill her.

Ya Nan is not around, and I'm wounded.

Don't worry, she's quite safe now.

I've seen the purple light sword.

Physician Guo is back.

Your wounds haven't healed yet.

This is a good excuse for us to stay here a little longer.

We'll find a way to rescue Sheng Nan and get back the purple light sword.

She's still sleeping.

No, she's awake.

Good morning, Physician Guo.

-I want to check her wounds. -Thank you.

-It seems you didn't sleep last night. -I...

I didn't sleep well.

I kept worrying about her condition.

Feeling better?

Turn over, please.

Physician Guo.

I haven't recovered yet.

-How can I continue my journey tomorrow? -If you're not in a hurry,

you better stay here for a few more days and let your wounds heal.

-Thank you so much. -You're welcome.

PRINCE WU YI'S RESIDENCE

They want 5000 taels ransom for my son's release?

Such arrogance!

Their chief also said

if you didn't pay the ransom within 10 days,

he'd chop off Young Master's head.

What?

Well, that's what their chief said.

If he thinks he's tough, I'm even tougher.

I'll get back the purple light sword and my son.

-Guard! -Yes.

Get me some paper. I want to write a letter.

Yes

PRINCE WU YI'S RESIDENCE

Send this letter immediately.

Ask him to save my son

-and get back the purple light sword. -Yes.

Who is it?

INTEGRITY

Who are you?

I'm Gan Ya Nan, the daughter of Gan Xiong, who was mercilessly killed by you.

Don't move!

Get her!

-Get her! -Attack!

Don't!

No, don't!

Don't move!

Put down your weapon, quick!

Otherwise, I'll kill him.

Put them down, now!

Where's the purple light sword and my sister? Tell me now!

-The Five Tigers took them away. -Who are the Five Tigers?

They are the five bandits who have kidnapped your sister

and seized the purple light sword.

They've kidnapped my son too.

-How can I find them? -They are in Shiyang Town.

-Are you telling the truth? -If you could save my son,

I'll give you 5000 taels of silver in return,

and you will have the purple light sword back.

Prince Wu Yi, you're so smart.

This is in revenge for my father.

Good!

Stop

Let me ask you.

It's been three days now.

How come my wound hasn't healed yet?

-Why? -Th|s...

Are you playing games with me?

You've been injured by a poisoned dart.

It takes time to heal.

I don't care.

You must heal me, all right?

Okay, I'll do my best.

You've got to heal me in three days,

or you'll be a dead man by that time.

It's all your fault.

When you came for me the other day,

I took a look at Miss Gan's wounds

and knew she was hurt by

Fierce Tiger's tigerhead hook.

We're very grateful for your kindness.

Miss Gan hasn't recovered yet.

And because of her,

I didn't go to save Miss Gan's sister.

And the purple light sword

is still in their hands now.

The purple light sword

is indeed very powerful.

You must get the sword

if you want to kill the Five Tigers.

But Fierce Tiger is very cunning.

He always keeps the sword with him.

Then what should we do?

I have an idea.

When I give him a treatment tomorrow night...

Come.

If it's too painful, you may close your eyes

and clench your teeth.

Support your left hand with your right hand.

This should ease the pain.

-Close your eyes and clench your teeth. -All right.

Be patient. Clench your teeth and close your eyes.

Hold it.

It's almost done. Close your eyes.

It's almost done.

It's almost done.

It's almost done.

Close your eyes. It's almost done.

Someone stole the sword.

Quiet, or I'll kill you.

-Guard! -Yes.

Get him! Hurry!

-Get him! -Hurry and run!

Run!

-Xu Jin, it's you. -Ya Nan, let's go.

No, I want to rescue Sheng Nan.

Ya Nan, don't be impulsive.

There's no one here.

-Hey, get them! -Yes.

Surround them!

Xu Jin.

Don't be afraid.

Ya Nan!

Stop! Get away.

Let me take care of this.

Stop

Give me back the purple light sword, or you'll die.

Ya Nan, stop.

Come here if you dare.

-Let's go. -Over there.

StoP!

Put down your sword,

or she'll die.

Ya Nan!

Kill them for Drunken Tiger's revenge.

What happened to him?

They killed him.

Where's Miss Gan?

Miss Gan? She isn't here.

No?

-Sir, no. -No?

Sir, there's no one upstairs.

No?

No, huh?

No more, right?

Then come with me now.

Stop.

Who are you?

You're bullying a woman.

I really want to know who you are.

I'm the famous One-Eyed Tiger.

-So you are the scum. -Get lost!

No way.

I want to kill you.

Here, catch it.

It's your doom.

Thank you for saving my life.

May I know your name?

My family's name is Gan.

So you are Miss Gan of Fort Gan, right?

Yes, and you are...

I am Priest Si Kong.

I came all the way here

to look for you three sisters.

-So you're the senior master. -Senior master?

-Keep fighting! -Good!

"Fight! 'Keep fighting,

Keep fighting

Fight!

Fight!

Keep fighting!

I'll kill the one who gets out of the fire ring.

Fight!

"Fight! 'Keep fighting,

-Keep fighting! -Continue.

"Fight! 'Keep fighting,

-Keep fighting! -Continue.

I'll kill the one who gets out of the fire ring.

-Good! Keep fighting! -Bravo!

Fierce Tiger, if Young Master Lu dies,

we won't get the 5000 taels of silver.

Don't worry.

When his father brings the ransom money here,

he can't get away.

Fierce Tiger, someone wants to see you.

What does he look like?

An old priest master carrying a bag said he came from far away.

Really?

-Hold it. -Hold it.

Who are you?

Master, please save me.

-Master! -Where's the money?

The thing inside is more precious than money.

I warn you not to hurt her.

What do you mean?

What a shameful student you are!

Priest, what do you mean?

This lady is worth more than 5000 taels of silver.

You've already had the advantage.

Hey, don't let this priest get away.

-Surround him! -Hurry!

Chao Nan!

"Charge! "Charge!

Uncle is here.

Sheng Nan and Ya Nan, Uncle is here.

-Uncle. -You've escaped.

-Yes. -Great, let's burn this place down.

Yes

-Burn the place! -Let's do it!

Stop.

Master, helP!

Master

-Good! -That's great!

Bravo!

Bravo!

Get him, drag him out, and kill him.

Master

Kill him!

-Kill him! -Master.

Master!

-Miss Gan, this is the person you want. -Kill!

-He killed your father. -Kill!

-Now I hand him over to you. -Kill him!

Kill him!

He is Lu Tian Xia's master, how come?

He brings me shame and dishonor.

I intended to kill him,

but I think I should hand him over to you instead,

along with the purple sword.

Sheng Nan.

You can relax now.

I've gotten rid of the Five Tigers.

We learn martial arts skills

to protect the weak and the poor,

not to bully innocent people.

But he is such a bully.

You are right.

Farewell, everyone.

He deserves such a fate.
