A lot of agents find that
coming out of the field

is actually a nice reprieve.

- I've been thinking
a lot about that recently.

Nearly a decade
on the Fugitive Task Force,

you're probably pretty tired
of living out of a hotel.

- [sighs]

I can't make
an official offer yet,

but the job is basically
yours if you want it.

I do have one final
question, though.

- OK, shoot.

no right or wrong answer.

I find interesting to ask

our agents applying
for a supervisory position.

- Well, that's a lot
of buildup, but OK.

- As supervisor,
you'd be in charge

of every violent crimes
task force in the Northeast.

In your opinion,

what's the most important
quality an SSA can foster

with the agents
working beneath her?

- I mean, I guess
I have to say trust.

As you know, hunting fugitives
is beyond dangerous.

But the members of my team
have become more like family

than co-workers at this point.

I mean, the trust we've built
over the last few years

not only makes us
more effective as a team,

but it keeps us safe and sane
when we're out on the road.
