NARRATOR: Around and along, in the middle of... somewhere,

lives a little Sound Collector.

Oh, yes. And his best friend, Mole. MOLE SNORES

Putting in his hearing aids,

the Sound Collector starts to hear the world around him.

WAVE OF SOUND SWELLS

MOLE GRUNTS, ELECTRONIC WARBLING

Whoa. What is that noise?

LAUGHS

Oh. Mole's found a theremin.

LAUGHS

MOLE GRUNTS, THEREMIN WARBLES

NARRATOR CHUCKLES She's not sure about it.

SIGHS

Eh?

What's on here?

THEREMIN MUSIC PLAYS

Ah, a tune he made earlier.

Spooky!

MOLE WHIMPERS

Hm. Too spooky for Mole.

MOLE GRUNTS

SIGHS

That's a shame.

MUSIC STOPS

Hm.

Oh. SWITCH CLICKS

What a magical time of day.

BIRDS CHIRP

Listen to those sounds.

WATER RUSHES

Big...

BIRD SINGS

..and small.

WIND WHISTLES

Ah. The sound of the breeze. Wonderful.

BEE BUZZES

Ooh. Hello, bee.

Heading back to your hive after a busy day?

BUZZING FADES

BIRDS CHIRP

So much fun, scouting for sounds.

RUSTLING Ooh!

BIRD CAW, RUSTLING CONTINUES

Sometimes, when you can't see what's making a noise...

DOG BARKS, BIRD SCREECHES

..it can seem strange.

TREES CREAK

And the woods don't feel so jolly.

Yes. Maybe some music might lift the mood.

THEREMIN MUSIC PLAYING

GRUNTS

Ah. It's the theremin music he played earlier.

It's making the woods really spooky.

Oh.

RECORDER BUTTON CLICKS, MUSIC STOPS

Now we know why Mole wasn't such a fan.

This looks more promising.
