NARRATOR: Around and along, in the middle of... somewhere

lives a little sound collector.

Oh, yes, and his best friend Mole.

MUFFLED SNORING

Mole is very good at snoring.

HE GROANS

Even her vibrations can wake you up.

With his hearing aids in,

the sound collector can start to hear the world around him...

WAVE OF SOUND SWELLS

MOLE SNORING

..and hear what's woken him up.

Some early morning sounds, perhaps.

MOLE CONTINUES SNORING

NARRATOR CHUCKLES

That really is a rumbler of a snore, all right!

TICKING It's the time of the morning

when creatures are still asleep.

Should be a SNORE-gasbord out there.

MICROPHONE CLICKS

BIRDS CHIRPING, WIND WHISTLING

WATER LAPPING

DUCKS QUACKING

Amazing noises everywhere.

HE BREATHES HEAVILY

SNORING

Can you hear that?

SNORING CONTINUES

NARRATOR WHISPERING: What a great snore. Morning, hedgehog!

Hm. I wonder who lives in here?

WHISPERS: Oh! GRASS RUSTLES

Baby rabbits just waking up.

RABBITS COOING

GRUNTING

When Mole isn't sleeping, she's always hungry.

MOLE GROWLS, NARRATOR LAUGHS

See what I mean?

SNIFFS, GRUNTS

Looks like Mole's just getting started.

GRUNTING

Ah.

MOLE GRUNTS

MOLE SNIFFS

GRUNTS, CHUCKLES

FLY BUZZES LIKE AN ANNOYING ITCH

Uh-oh. It's Fly.

MOLE GRUNTING

Steady, Mole.

It's always the same when Fly buzzes by.

He's recorded some wonderful snores this morning.

RABBITS COOING ON RECORDER

Ah, the rabbits!

SNORING ON RECORDING, NARRATOR CHUCKLES

And the hedgehog, remember?

MOLE SNORING

Yes, and Mole.

Oh, the wildlife park!

The perfect place for an early morning snore-a-thon.

I wonder who he'll record first.

WOLVES SNORING

NARRATOR LAUGHS

Great snore, wolves.

GRUNTING, BIRDS CHIRPING

Ooh! What's he listening to?

The monkeys are so quiet.

HE LAUGHS, BRANCH CRACKS

MONKEYS SCREECHING

Uh-oh! Now look what you've started.

BIRD CHIRPS, ANIMALS BELLOWING

SNORING A lion, with the biggest snore yet.

SNORING CONTINUES

Well, what a way to end. The best snore of the day.

Time to play Mole some snores.

STOMACH GROWLS And time for breakfast.

MOLE SNORING

Ah.

That'll be Mole.

MOLE CONTINUES SNORING, SOUND COLLECTOR SIGHS

Looks like there's a bit of tidying up to do.

GROANS, MUFFLED AUDIO

That's better. Enough snoring for one day.

HE LAUGHS He really did get up very early.

Maybe breakfast can wait.
