[Fighting for love]

[Episode 26]

[Wisdom eyes]

Quietly immersed in the sounds of buddha.

It can calm you down.

I feel guilty.

Then come here often.

An ancient temple deep in the mountains.

It has its own Zen.

Greetings, Your Highness.

Prime Minister Lin, are you here to pray?

This is my daughter, Zerou.

[Lin Zerou]

Greetings, Princess Shenghua.

Brother Yizhi.

Greetings, Brother Yizhi.

It's inconvenient to talk here.

Let's go to the meditation room to take a rest.

Yizhi,

take her around.

Prime Minister Lin,

young people should be familiar with each other by themselves.

Prime Minister Lin, please.

Please, Your Highness.

It's my honor

to have Your Highness make the tea for me.

Without Prime Minister Lin's help,

even our family can't save Yizhi.

Making a cup of tea

can't repay Prime Minister Lin's kindness.

What is the reason for the invitation?

Prime Minister Lin clearly knows the situation in the imperial court.

The crown prince is grounded, and Prince Kang is getting powerful.

Now everyone thinks

the successor must be Prince Kang.

I wonder

if Prime Minister Lin has the same attitude.

His Majesty is unpredictable.

It's not my duty to guess His Majesty's intention.

Prime Minister Lin has served two emperors.

You are still powerful with a season.

Fortunately, Prince Kang is like his father.

Prime Minister Lin and Prince Kang must be getting along very well.

I've always been loyal to His Majesty.

Although we're not close,

but there is nothing negative between us.

Of course, we are fine.

Poor Prime Minister Lin for your loyalty.

I wonder if Prince Kang is happy about it.

Your Highness has always been on guard against Prince Kang.

His Majesty has ordered

to lift the restraining order of the crown prince.

As his aunt,

I certainly hope they

can get along with each other.

Unfortunately, the crown prince

can never get into my brother's heart.

Prime Minister Lin,

do you still want to support crown prince?

Since Prime Minister Lin wants more choices,

why don't you take Yizhi into consideration

and see if you will like him.

I'm too blind to tell.

But my daughter is smart.

She can make a decision for me.

Fine.

Let the two kids take a good look.

Take a look.

Prime Minister Lin, please.

Please, Your Highness.

Is something troubling you?

Miss Lin also likes Philosophy of Changes?

I get this for you.

For me?

I heard that fighting on the battlefield is dangerous.

So I want to pray for your safety.

Can you show me?

If this is for me,

why can't you show it to me?

[The goddess of the moon wishes for a reunion, so good things come together and last forever]

[The half moon shines brightly in a clear blue sky, the good luck is coming down to you]

I am ungracious.

Please forgive me, Mr. Yang.

It doesn't matter. Let's go.

Crown princess,

His Royal Highness sent someone to get his son.

Okay.

Greetings, crown princess.

As you were.

Where is His Highness now?

Why is he taking Yu there?

His Highness is going to Hehuan Hall to pay respects.

He's waiting ahead.

He sent me to pick his son.

Please wait for a moment.

Yu.

Greet your grandfather for me.

Yes, I will.

Go.

I'll wait for you to come back for dinner.

Take good care of him.

I understand.

Let's go, Young Master.

Here.

Here, have some.

Just a bowl of rice?

You are not eating?

I've had it with my mother.

Did you find anything today?

Eat up.

By the way,

did you have fun at the temple today?

Not as pretty as you.

What?

I mean the monk

is not as good looking as you.

Why? You don't believe me?

If you don't believe me,

I can take you there next time.

I don't have time.

I really don't understand

why there are so many morgues in Shengdu City.

I have to continue looking for them tomorrow.

I'll go with you.

Why did Your Highness come back alone?

Where is Yu?

Yu?

I didn't see Yu today.

But Officer Yang, who followed you,

picked Yu up in the name of you.

I didn't send anyone to pick Yu up today.

Don't worry, Your Highness.

His Highness Qi Yu is fine.

Mr, Guo, do you know where Yu is?

His Highness Qi Yu,

is now in a safe place.

As long as Your Royal Highness brings the crown prince's seal

to Prince Kang's Mansion before midnight,

His Highness Qi Yu will return safely.

Is it that you and Yang Xuan took Yu away?

He is not afraid of

alarming Father?

It depends on whether Your Highness dare to gamble.

How dare you!

You traitor!

Guards!

Yes.

Take him down.

Yes.

Your Highness, you...

Don't worry.

I will bring Yu

back to you.

Are you going to Prince Kang's Mansion?

I need to meet someone first.

The Crown Prince's Mansion is going to impose a curfew.

No information should be leaked.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Are you ready?

Your Highness,

everything is ready.

Whether we succeed or not,

it depends on tonight.

Please.

I came to visit you at night and disturbed your sleep.

It doesn't matter.

Please have a seat.

You are looking for Yizhi, right?

Go get Yizhi.

Yes.

Have a seat.

You don't have to bow.

I'm in trouble.

Yu was kidnapped.

What?

Do you know who did it?

Someone bribed my men

to lure Yu out of the palace.

And the person behind this is Yuzong.

My brother didn't allow me to tell father.

He only asked me to bring the official seal to his mansion.

Otherwise, Yu will be killed.

I think Yu has been

hidden in a secretive place.

So now,

I can only ask for help from my cousin and General Mai

to save Yu.

Your Royal Highness, please don't.

You two

are the only people I can trust now.

Please rise, Your Highness.

Your Highness.

I'm half of Yu's master.

I won't stand by.

Good.

I'll entrust Yu to Cousin

and General Mai.

Your Royal Highness.

Time is limited.

Let them make arrangements first.

I'll wait for your good news.

How many people can be useful in the mansion?

Mu Bai, and the guards.

There are only a dozen even we added Si.

I don't care.

I'll bring them, you stay.

You brining the people?

That's dangerous.

No way.

Listen to me. There is no discussion.

Stop arguing. You guys go together.

Be careful.

[Wu, Si, Chen, Mao, Yin, Chou, Zi, Hai]

[Zi, Hai, Xu]

Brother,

did you bring the official seal?

Where is Qi Yu now?

Hand over the official seal.

Then you can see Qi Yu.

What?

You don't trust me?

You're right.

In your heart,

I've always be a cunning and despicable man.

If you think of me that way,

I accept it.

But I never thought that

a well-dressed

and benevolent crown prince

is actually a reckless man who

will do anything to win His Majesty's heart.

I don't know what you're talking about.

Come on.

You pretended your wife is pregnant.

Trying to fake having a son.

Ten years ago,

you and I were nip and tuck.

Just because the crown princess gave birth to Yu,

you became the crown prince.

I thought God abandoned me.

[I am going to fake the pregnancy to get the title of the crown prince and wait for the baby to come out]

[Then, I'll pretend the baby is died and replaced him with a real one to keep my father's heart]

Getting a son first.

[Grandson of the Emperor, Qi Yu, is not from a royal bloodline. He is adopted by the crown prince to fulfill his own selfish desire]

[Prince Qi wants to use a fake prince to be favored, and then he will get a real son]

But I didn't expect that this child is the fake one.

I thought that once you become the crown prince,

you would let Yu die.

But I never thought that you two would not have any children anymore.

Yu is also loved by Father.

This is a dilemma.

These letters are fabricated.

That's why I asked you to bring the official seal

to make it real.

Besides,

these letters are fake.

But this matter

is true.

But who knows?

[Zi, Hai, Xu]

What did you find?

I guarded the palace outside as usual today.

I found Yang Xuan.

Come over there.

You scared me.

What's wrong?

You found something?

Follow him?

Yes.

And then?

Mai.

Young Marquis.

Your Grace,

we found something.

Go on.

We found them

based on the marks on those four carriages.

They stopped at Nanlou Shop, Fuxing Shop,

Anding Shop and Mayi Shop respectively.

Let's search these four places.

Let's split up.

Be careful.

Okay.

Brother.

Please.

It's getting late.

What?

Are you still waiting for news?

Time flies.

If you don't obey,

Yu will never come back.

Why are you laughing?

I'm laughing at your stupidity.

If you are at the end of the rope and

want to speak freely,

just do it.

But whether Yu can wait,

I can't guarantee.

Qi Min,

if I don't sign these papers today,

Qi Yu will die.

Although I will lose His Majesty's favoritism,

you can't get away with it either.

But if I sign these papers

and you submit them to our father,

Qi Yu will also die.

Yu will die anyway.

He is not even my son.

What would you do if it were you?

Qi Min,

didn’t you say I'm reckless and

intend to get my way by any means?

How did you know that I would be soft-hearted?

Yuzong,

the one who can't be soft-hearted

is you.

You must

kill Qi Yu.

It's still early.

There is no need to rush.

Search!

Yes.

Why are you here so late?

Sir.

Something happened in the Crown Prince's Mansion.

Yu was kidnapped.

His Highness went to Prince Kang's Mansion to save him.

This...

Your son had a fever at three.

You didn't change your clothes and stay up all night.

You only slept for a few hours in three days.

Your son had rashes at four.

The doctor didn't allow the crown prince to come near him.

You prayed to the buddha.

for his recovery.

Your son was playing

and broke his leg at the age of six.

The crown prince who never held his son,

became his cane and held him every day.

You and your son

may not be father and son biologically,

but are in fact, father and son.

The crown prince is benevolent.

People have been praised about it.

I think it's not fake.

What if

everything is just what I want you to see?

Kidnapping the grandson of the emperor is a desperate move.

We dare to bet.

If Your Highness is willing to bet,

let's wait until midnight.

Brother.

Yu really treats you as his father.

When he was kidnapped,

he kept hoping you to save him.

Brother.

Brother.

Stop hesitating.

Sign it.

[Chou, Zi, Hai]

Y-Young Master, don't be afraid.

Don't be afraid.

Your Highness.

Mai is late.

Master Mai.

Prince Kang.

Yu was rescued.

And the people in the palace are here.

Even if you win,

I will spread the news to the world tomorrow.

Can you still be the crown prince?

Qi Min,

you can never get the position you want.

Even if I die,

I won't betray my father.

Qi Jing.

Why are you doing this?

Because only when I die,

Yu can live.

His identity

can be real.

Because only a real father

would die to protect his own son.

You were ready to die.

It's not too late.

Just in time.

His Royal Highness is dead.

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty.

How is it?

The crown prince...

His Royal Highness just died in

Prince Kang's Mansion.

Crown Princess.

It's karma.

Karma.

It's karma.

It's karma!

It's because of me.

Your Majesty!

Get the imperial physician!

Your Majesty! Summon the imperial physician!

Call the imperial physician!

Mr. Deng.

Your Highness.

Is Father all right?

Your Highness, ministers,

Your Majesty is fine.

He has issued a verbal instruction

to tell everyone to go home.

No need to wait here.

I'll go in and check on him.

Your Highness.

His Majesty woke up several times at night

and just fell asleep.

I feel sorry for him.

Please go back first, Your Highness.

I will report your filial piety to His Majesty.

I...

What happened tonight...

Don't you have to think of an explanation?

Be alert.

Don't let anything go wrong.

Yes.

I want Yu.

Get lost!

Get lost!

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty, don't be anxious.

It's just a temporary agitation that caused the loss of energy.

You'll recover after some rest, Your Majesty.

I've sent Shi Yuan to pick him up with the Longyin Guards.

Your Majesty.

Rest assured, Your Majesty.

I will arrange the imperial guards to guard the palace.

No one except the people who serve you

is allowed to come near the bedroom.

What is going on now?

Doctor Du should know that

the condition of the emperor concerns the fate of the country.

Please tell me honestly.

How can I accept Prime Minister Lin's courtesy?

After all, His Majesty is old.

He can't bear great joy or great sorrow.

This faint is a sign of a stroke.

Even if he wakes up,

I'm afraid he won't be the same as before.

He has to be taken good care of in order to recover.

I understand.

Please take care of His Majesty.

I will do my best.

Except us,

no one should know His Majesty's condition.

Don't worry, Prime Minister Lin.

I know what's important.

You've done a great job.

Serve His Majesty well,

and you will enjoy your late years in peace.

Thank you, Prime Minister Lin.

Come with me.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Yu.

Do you want to summon your grandson to the palace?

Summon Yu.

Your Majesty, don't worry.

I know what to do.

Prince Kang.

You haven't left the palace?

I'm worried about my father.

I dare not leave.

Prime Minister Lin,

how is Father?

Please rest assured, Prince Kang.

His Majesty is awake.

No, no, no.

Prince Kang, why are you doing this?

No.

Please get up.

Father is seriously ill.

The crown prince died unfortunately.

Everyone in the imperial court must be unstable.

Therefore, I'm willing to take you as my master

and learn politics.

I wonder if Prime Minister Lin will accept me as your disciple.

You're exaggerating, Prince Kang.

With my ability,

how can I afford to be your master?

Prime Minister Lin is the founding member of two dynasties.

You are the foundation of Nanxia.

Why not?

Your Highness, you've overrated me.

I can recommend the Imperial College for you.

I don't deserve this.

I really can't take the responsibility.

Fine.

In that case, I won't force you anymore.

Thank you, Your Highness. I'll take my leave.

Please go back early.

Don't worry too much.

I’m leaving.

Thank you, Marshal Shang and General Mai.

Yu is still young.

He shouldn’t have suffered so much.

Mr. Shi,

please send him to the emperor safely.

Don't worry.

Goodbye.

His Majesty is seriously ill.

At the time of the storm,

the imperial court

needs someone who is mature and experienced like Prime Minister Lin

to take charge of the overall situation.

I'm walking on thin ice.

Fortunately, Prince Kang still holds the will to help the country.

He wants me to be his master

and share the burden.

Did you accept it?

I'm still thinking about it.

Yes.

How is an emperor's master comparable to his father-in-law?

How sure are you?

The Zhenbei Army is popular now.

It is the strongest army of Nanxia.

Prime Minister Lin is the most powerful person in the imperial court.

If the two combine,

Nanxia can be settled.

I've long heard that Prime Minister Lin's daughter, Zerou, is a lady.

She can be the mother of this country.

Young Marquis Shang is an outstanding person.

They are a perfect match.

But it's not enough.

What do you mean, Prime Minister Lin?

The Ministry of Revenue.

After the new emperor ascends the throne,

I'll be the one assigning the position of Ministry of Revenue.

Deal.

Prime Minister Lin, please.

It's my honour that

our families can be linked up through marriage.

Please.

Old bastard!

That old bastard!

Old bastard!

He has gone too far!

When...

When I ascend the throne,

I must kick him out of Shengdu.

Calm down, Your Highness.

It's not that Prime Minister Lin is not willing to,

but he dares not to.

I know.

But Father is awake now.

What can I do to solve this?

I'll just wait in the mansion to die.

The only way now

is to spread the news about the identity of the emperor's grandson.

So that we have a chance of survival.

Without evidence,

how can we pin it on Qi Yu?

Isn't there the crown princess?

When His Majesty can manage the state affairs,

he won't let this go.

Think about it.

She is a woman.

How can she hide it from His Majesty?

Thank you, Master Pang.

Congratulations, Your Highness.

Congratulations, Your Highness.

What's there to congratulate?

It's such a big event.

Everyone knows it.

Why are you treating me as a stranger?

Father is seriously ill.

My brother is dead.

Why are you here to report good news?

Shen Tingyuan.

Don't think that I dare not kill you.

Spare my life, Your Highness.

It's just hearsay.

How would a little hostage prince know about the affairs of the court?

I should be punished.

All right.

Tell me, what do you want from me?

I'm here for rewards.

What happened last night...

His Majesty was seriously ill and the crown prince passed away.

I think Prince Kang will act for the emperor to supervise the state.

I thought I was close to His Highness.

So I came to ask for rewards.

What do you want?

Wine, beauty, and a house.

I'll accept

whatever you give me.

Good for you.

That's all?

If Your Highness can

send me home...

What home?

I want to be close to you.

I don't want you to leave.

I want to keep you for a few more years.

Here.

I'll prepare good wines and pretty girls for you

right now.

The great future of Nanxia

is better than you eating sands in Beimo.

I miss my hometown so much.

I haven't supervised the state yet.

This is not the right time.

Got it.

I understand.

Your Highness, I will do anything for you.

Your Highness is busy.

I'll leave you alone.

I'll visit you another day.

He wants to go back to Beimo?

Not a chance.

Your Highness.

He is a good pawn that

can't be given up easily.

I know.
