- [Narrator] Richard and
Snow White finally meet,

and convinced that they will be able

to talk the evil queen into
peace, go to the castle.

They are not however
welcomed in the best manner.

Luckily, they are not
completely on their own.

Thanks to the timely and
much appreciated assistance

of Sampson, Jolly and Woody,

the group managed to escape
the evil queen's clutches,

and sets out on new adventures.

(instrumental music)

- Try to rest, your wound
will heal faster that way.

Sitting around and worrying about things

won't help you one bit.

- Be careful out there.

- Oh I'm just going out to the
woods to pick some mushrooms,

because we're all hungry

and we need something to eat you know.

- What?

- Richard, your not even
thinking about going

back to the castle are you?

- Alright, fine.

- Don't do anything foolish like that.

Your not even well yet.

- Thanks for your concern.

- We'll talk later, I'm going out now.

- Alright, but don't be long.

(door closes)

- (thinking) I can not stay here for ever.

I'm not sure what else I can do.

I can't make sense of what the
magic mirror was telling me.

If only I could find out
the meaning of it's riddle.

- [Mirror] When on
Earth there is evil that

wants to use the power of
light for it's cruel plans.

The Blue Hawk will descend from the peaks,

and eliminate it.

- The Blue Hawk,

but I don't understand.

make of all of this.

- Oh I can't believe
all the rain out there.

I am so beat, oh boy.

- Hello there my friends.

we'll take care of it.

- If I didn't know better,

I'd think that Jolly is a
little bit jealous of Richard.

- Actually Jolly and
Richard are nothing alike.

a little low on food.

whoever tries to approach the castle,

I'm the rightful prince of this domain,

The Albertville's have a tradition

of giving a blue cloat to
those who are named knights.

Maybe there's a connection between the

Blue cloats that are knights wear

and the Blue Hawk that the
mirror was talking about.

- Oh and Richard,

I'm warning you should you make Snow White

even a little sad,
you'll live to regret it.

Don't forget the princess
has lots and lots

of friends who care about her.

- (laughs)

- Hmph, what the heck
is Jack doing up here.

- Become a knight?

- Yes that's right the mirror told me

that Snow White and I must join forces

in order to fight evil.

And I think that the Blue Hawk
the mirror was talking about

could have something to do with the

Albertville tradition
of bestowing blue cloats

on everyone who is knighted.

- So that means you must be named

a Knight of the Realm as
soon as humanly possible.

- That's exactly what I mean.

- Then you must immediately
return to the battlefield

and speak to the king.

- But before that, we must
free all of Richard's soldiers

that have been imprisoned by the Queen.

- And while you do that,

we'll stay back and
take care of Snow White.

- Thank-you my friends.

- [Jack thinking] Snow White really

is in love with that prince guy,

and I like a fool, saved his life.

- Jack!

- What do you want?

- I'm going back to war tomorrow.

- Huh?

- In my absence, I would like you

to watch over and protect Snow White.

- Huh?

You sure you really
wanna take that chance?

- What?

- What I mean is,

with you away at battle,

she just may fall in love with me.

- If that were to happen,

The choice is hers alone to make.

[Narrator] Long ago,
Richard tied a green ribbon

to a tree on the shores of the lake

in the hope to see Snow White again.

This was a ribbon Snow
White held very precious,

and cherished with love.

- Having to leave you again
pains my heart Snow White,

but I'm doing this so we can be together

and never have to say good-bye again.

Try to be strong.

- I will.

- Farewell my friends, and
be sure to look after her.

- Sure, don't worry, come back soon.

- Yah!

[Narrator] Snow White thinks
back on Richard's words

for quite awhile.

They parted for their own good.

But now, Richard has gone
off to the battlefield.

All there is left for her to do is hope.
