(soft music)
- [Narrator] A poisonous snake used by Queen Chrystal
causes Snow White's apparent death.
But thanks to Snow White's friend, Boss,
and the other dwarves, the princess is brought
back to life.
The dwarves' cottage is once again a happy
and serene place.
But here in the forest, one can never be too careful.
You see, they must always be on the lookout,
as Snow White could be the victim of new attempts
at any moment.
(soft music)
- So, today is the day we celebrate
Woods Thanksgiving Day, is that right?
- Yes, and that's why we're going on a picnic.
- And thanks to you, we got all the food
put together very quickly.
You've been quite a help.
- Sure, but we still have to see how good it tastes.
(giggles)
- Is that so?
Well for all I care, you might as well go without eating.
- Oh, I have a better idea.
I'm only going to eat the food prepared by Gourmet.
(gasps)
- [Snow White] Jolly, stop.
Now you come here.
You can't run away from me.
- [Jolly] Yes, I can.
- I'm going to get you, Jolly.
Come here.
(laughing)
- Would you stop it?
You're making my head spin.
(laughs)
- They're going to make Boss so dizzy,
he's bound to fall down.
- [Snow White] Come here, you rascal.
- Don't use too much energy.
Save some for the contest.
(giggling) - Going to get you.
- Okay, let's stop.
Come with me, I want you to be my partner.
- [Snow White] Where are we going?
- What a little rascal.
- Be careful, or you're going to fall.
- [Jolly] We're getting ready for the contest.
(gasping)
- [Snow White] A contest?
(soft music)
- I just can't eat anymore.
I can't eat another bite.
Ah, what a great meal that was.
I really did enjoy that.
- Oh, you really did, huh?
- Gourmet's food has an unmistakable taste,
so delicate and good.
(laughing)
What are you guys laughing at?
(laughs)
- Actually, those delicious sandwiches
were prepared by Snow White.
- What?
- That's right.
- I don't believe it.
- Well, what really counts is that you enjoyed your meal.
(groans)
Huh?
- Fine, let's start the contest.
- Yay!
(gasps)
(soft music)
- What's the matter, Vet?
Don't you want to come along?
- [Jolly] Leave him alone, Vet doesn't like contests.
- Huh?
(birds chirping)
- Okay, is everybody here ready now?
(cheering)
- [Both] Sure.
- Yes.
- [Boss] Jolly?
- Yes, yes, I'm ready already.
Yes, yes, I'm ready.
- Stop sulking.
- But I wanted Snow White to be my partner.
- Couples were drawn by lot,
so you'd better forget about it.
- Great, now I got to be Boss' partner.
- I'm so sorry.
(laughs)
Fine, let me explain the rules of the game.
This is the starting point.
Each couple must tie ribbons in specific places.
The first couple that passes through the
seven woods and arrives at the Rainbow Mountain
will be the winner.
- Ah, and then we get some really great prize
after we win, right Boss?
- Of course you do.
- And I'm going to be the winner.
- [Boss] Vet and Snow White, you must cross
the Golden Woods first.
Vet knows the way.
- Okay, then I'll follow you, Vet.
- Poor Snow White, stuck being the partner with Vet.
- Huh?
- [Boss] Come on, let's start.
(groaning)
- Cut it out.
Everyone knows Vet's too weak to win a contest.
Besides, he's too shy to do anything about it.
- Well, you never know, but we'll see.
- Yeah, we'll see.
- That's right, Vet.
Come on, let's get going.
We're going to have a lot of fun.
(soft music)
- Milk, Pocket, let go of the rope.
(cheering)
- Let's go.
(upbeat music)
- I'll see you guys later at the finish line.
(upbeat music)
(laughing)
(soft music)
(laughs)
- Oh, how beautiful.
These are the Golden Woods. - Yes, and as you can see,
it's always full of flowers.
- Where are we supposed to tie the ribbon, Vet?
- Right over there.
It's so beautiful.
- Come on then, let's go, Vet.
- Oh, yes.
- I hope the next woods are as beautiful
as the Golden Woods.
Come on, let's go, Vet.
- Unfortunately, not all the woods are welcoming.
- These little pools are not what they seem.
They may look ordinary, but they're magical.
They appear and disappear quite randomly.
And it's difficult to get out if you fall in.
- Would you do me a favor?
Would you please shut up?
(scoffs)
(yells)
- Help, Woody, help.
I'm drowning. - What are you doing?
You silly old man. - Oh, get me out.
- [Woody] How'd you get into this mess?
- You two still here?
Don't you know the Boss and I have already
crossed two woods together?
- You have?
- I'm drowning, I can't swim, help.
Oh, it appears I'm on dry land.
Didn't I tell you they were tricky?
One never knows what to expect here.
- Well, I'm going to show you a new technique.
Watch me.
(gasps)
Watch what happens.
(gasping)
- Why doesn't Boss teach me those tricks?
Wait for me, Woody.
(soft music)
- Vet, are these the Red Woods?
- Yes.
- The Golden Woods were full of purple flowers and pines.
But here, there's not even a tree.
It seems so empty.
- [Vet] I noticed.
- I can't help but wonder what might await us
in this most unusual place, Vet.
(soft music)
(gasps)
My gosh, this water is hot.
Are you sure we have to cross this bridge?
If we fell down there, do you think we would get burned?
- [Vet] Yes.
(groans)
- You know what?
This does look dangerous.
(whimpers)
You know, if we fell, we could get hurt.
(whimpers)
- Of course, what else would happen?
- Oh silly, Vet, I was just kidding.
Okay, here I go.
Come on.
(whimpers)
(gasps)
(screams)
- Snow White, Snow White.
Oh my goodness, you could have gotten hurt.
Are you all right?
- Yeah, I'm okay.
But at first I guess I was really scared.
(yells)
Look Vet, the water's starting to retreat.
Have courage.
Come on, we can do this.
- [Vet] No.
(panting)
- I made it.
Did you come?
Where are you?
(whimpers)
Come on, Vet, it's okay.
(rumbling)
(groans)
- I'm scared, I'm too afraid to move.
(coughs)
- Poor Vet.
(soft music)
- It's not fair.
Everything fills me with fear.
- No, don't say that.
- No, Snow White, I don't deserve your sympathy.
- Well, I don't feel sorry for you.
We all have things we're afraid of,
and you have nothing to be ashamed of.
- But everybody makes fun of me.
- It's not true.
I know Jolly teases you.
But he's only joking with you, Vet.
Don't you know that?
- [Vet] No.
- Well, I've got a great idea.
Hmm.
Jolly won't tease you anymore if we win this contest.
- [Vet] Snow White, if I weren't your partner,
you would have a much better chance of winning.
- What are you talking about, Vet?
We must stick together.
I'm not doing this contest without you.
- Huh?
- I want to win this contest and I will never quit.
Never.
- Well.
- [Snow White] Come on.
Trust in me, Vet.
- Huh?
- Let's go, are you ready?
- Okay.
- [Snow White] On the count of three we cross, okay?
One.
- No, I'm too scared. - Two.
- Don't look down.
And three.
(groans)
Don't look down, Vet, you're doing great.
And try to walk in the center of the bridge.
(groans)
(yells)
- Oh no, I can't, I'm too afraid.
Don't make me, please.
I can't do it.
- You must not be scared.
The bridge is solid, and there's really
no reason to worry about it.
Have faith in what I'm saying.
- I'm not sure I can do this.
(gasps)
- The fox, he might fall down the cliff.
- [Vet] Don't worry, I'll save you.
- If you're going to save that fox, you'd better hurry.
Be careful.
(panting)
(splashing water)
(gasps)
(panting)
- Hang on, I'll be right there.
Don't worry, I'll save you.
- You did it, you made it.
(panting)
- All right, I've got you.
Next time, be more careful, okay?
- You did good.
See?
- [Vet] I guess.
- [Snow White] And now let's go on.
- [Vet] No, I can't.
I'm paralyzed with fear.
(gasps)
- I told you that we had to turn left and not right.
- I did turn left and we're back at the
same place anyway.
- [Chamomile] Well, it's your fault.
You have absolutely no sense of direction.
- And now we got to find a way to cross the river,
and I can tell you one thing.
It's not going to be easy.
- Not a problem.
It's just a matter of using one's brains.
- What are you saying?
- According to my calculations, the river's waters
draw back in a specific spot for 30 seconds.
And we must take advantage of this in order
to cross to the other side.
All right, the water should recede right about now.
One, two, three, four, five.
- It's working, it's working.
Good idea, Chamomile.
- [Chamomile] 27, 28, 29.
(yelling)
(groans)
- 29, not 30. (yells)
- Well, I seem to have made a slight miscalculation.
- [Boss] This labyrinth is infested by the
spirit of the trees.
They have traps all over.
Be careful.
- [Jolly] Huh, nothing scares me, Boss.
I really think this year, we could win.
We're unstoppable.
- [Boss] Jolly, rashness is the worst enemy.
- No one's going to catch us from behind either.
Like I said, we're unstoppable.
Nothing will hold us back.
(yells)
- How I knew this would happen.
- But I thought everything was going to be
great this morning.
(yells)
Stop, stop.
(yells)
Stop, please. - Use your brains, Jolly.
- Stop, put me down.
Please stop.
I got an idea.
Tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle.
Tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle.
(yells)
(rumbling)
- [Narrator] Our friends crossed the Green Woods,
a place full of rocks, and the Purple Woods,
dark as the night, where you must take care
that anything could happen at any time.
- Look my friend, the finishing line is over there.
(gasps)
- I bet we already lost.
- Why do you always have to be so negative?
Do you know where we have to tie the last ribbon?
- [Vet] On the top of the tree, at the entry
of the Rainbow Forest.
- Way up there?
- Yes, upon the highest branch.
- [Jolly] Look over there.
It looks like Snow White got ahead of us.
- Look Vet, all the others are behind us.
We can still win.
Come on, let's hurry.
We can still do it.
- [Vet] But I can't.
I've never climbed a tree before.
- [Snow White] But the finish line is just in front of us.
(scattered chatter)
- I'm much too cowardly.
If only I had more courage.
(scattered chatter)
(grunting)
- Come on, Boss, you can do it.
I know you can.
- [Boss] But my head hurts.
- Look, they're all caught up to us.
All right then, I'll go.
- Come on, we're almost there. - Keep going.
- Keep it up.
- Vet, what are you doing standing here?
You're going to lose the contest.
- That's fine by me, as long as I don't
have to climb up that huge tree.
- Vet, think.
Why did we tie the ribbons in different woods?
- What do you mean?
- Think of the six woods we've crossed.
In the center, there is--
(gasps)
(soft music)
- Our cottage.
Wait a minute, those were magic ribbons
which will keep our forest safe from any harm.
Right, Boss?
- Yes, since Snow White has been poisoned
by that snake, I've been very worried for her,
and I don't want accidents to happen again.
Come on, Vet.
Defend Snow White from evil forces
by placing the ribbon.
- Oh, it's you.
All right Boss.
You've convinced me. - Come on Vet, run for it.
- Sure, but I'll win this time.
(upbeat music)
(grunting)
? Here we go
? Here we go
? Here
Snow White, leave it to me.
- Vet, you can do it.
(grunting)
Vet, get up that tree.
(grunting)
Don't let him beat you, Vet.
(grunting)
(groans)
- [Vet Voiceover] I can't look down.
I have to focus on getting to the top.
Let's go.
- I know you can do it, Vet.
- Hey Vet, aren't you scared being up this high?
- [Vet] Only if I look down.
(yells)
- You did it, Vet.
- Yay, he did it.
(laughs)
- I made it, Snow White.
I did it, I really did it.
(soft music)
(gasping)
- It's wonderful.
- Looks like we made it, Boss.
- Yes, thanks to all of you.
Snow White is now protected.
(soft music)
(gasps)
- [Vet] How do I get down from here?
(laughing)
- Jolly, what are you doing?
Why don't you tie the ribbon?
Don't you know the contest isn't over yet?
We must hurry to the finish line.
- Oh, that's a good idea.
- Come on, Jolly. - Come on, Jolly.
- I was so worried about getting up here,
I didn't think about how I was going to get down.
(laughing)
- [Narrator] Thanks to the idea Boss has,
the dwarves made the woods that surround
their cottage invulnerable, and Snow White,
for the time being, doesn't have anything
to worry about.
