I was about seven years old.

My father started a pet store,
And we had a lot of iguanas.

We had snakes.

We had bearded dragons.

Today, I'm 52,
And I probably have at least

15 reptiles all over the place.

Bearded dragons
Aren't really this red.

Why are they red? I always seem
Them, like, a different color.

This guy's red.
Why?

Jimmy: well, breeders
Breed for color,

So over the years,
They bred and bred them

To get that red like that,

And it's a hypo leatherback
Red bearded dragon.

It's the number-one pet
In the united states

Over dogs and cats.

Wayde: they're great pets.
They come from australia.

That's where
They originated from.

Now they cross breed them.

They have different colors.

They can get pretty big.

They can get up over 22 inches.

They're very cuddly.

They like
Just to hang out and chill,

And I think it's one of the
Easiest pets to take care of.

For a duel-sided view.

We'll top it off with a team of
Colorful saltwater fish,

Including butterfly fish,
Angel fish, and tangs.

And once we complete the tank
With sleek cabinetry,

This aquarium will be
A first-round draft pick.

Then, next up,
Reptile shop scales 'n tails

Is getting a 9.5-foot-tall tank
From stand to jungle canopy.

We'll fill it with 350 gallons
Of saltwater and exotic fish

Including a puffer, some eels,
And a venomous lionfish.

We'll also insert reptile
Replicas of frogs,

We'll deck out the facade

He's grown a lot more being fed
On a regular basis

We can make this guy to scale,

And we'll fit him exactly

What other animals do you have

These are a couple
Of leopard geckos.

These guys are nocturnal.

They come out

These guys and eat their eyes.

Crickets in there and leave.

Make sure that they eat them,

And are easy to handle.

You also have a skeletor eel.

He's rare and loves to hide.

You have a volitan lion.

They're venomous to other fish,

Those guys can grow to be about
16 inches.

We worked with our guy denny
To make the snake.

This one's a beauty.

And those guys can get up to be
About 15 inches.

In the red sea

Off the coast of south africa.

So, you have
A threadfin butterfly,

And those guys come from
The indo-pacific,

And they have some awesome
Patterns on their skin,

But they also have small beaks
So they can get in crevices

To pick up food.

What's the issue with the guy
In the corner, here?

That's actually called a
Harlequin tusk,

And he's part of
The wrasse family.

They like to hide,
And what they do is

Sometimes
They perch themselves.

Some of the wrasses, they go
Underneath the gravel or sand,

And they just
Stick their heads up.
