About what we want To try to do with the tank,

That's gonna be permanent For the rest of our lives.

We can put hanging lights.

I just want it to look as clean And crisp as possible.

And checked the corals, Checked the polygem.

We're getting low on polygem, But we can make it another week.

Wayde: we'll start with a 4-foot-tall, 8-foot-long tank

On top of the 3-foot-tall stand.

Inside, we'll build a portion Of the island of st. Barths,

Complete with a replica Of the eden rock hotel

And ashley's yacht From her childhood.

We'll add a simple But classy facade

At the bottom of the tank and Specialty lighting on the top.

Saltwater fish from the tropics

Will feel right at home In this luxury-resort aquarium.

We pulled all the panels For kurt's tank

And started assembling.

Chuy glued the seams and made Sure they were all bubble-free.

And now, the team is sanding.

Hey, denny.What's going on, robert?

You ready to do this? Yep.

Wayde's kind of put me in charge To oversee all of this,

Make sure it's all Just perfect.

Well, I found all The pictures I could find.

Okay. I've got the molds,

Hand-dremelled All these little rocks

To get the detail On the side.

I did it in a bunch Of different pieces

So that it could be put Together, make sure it's right.

This whole hotel Is in on a cliff.

Right. So I had to build it

Like that at an angle. Mm-hmm.

Then it's kind of a jigsaw Puzzle from there.

This fits on like so.

This will go on Underneath there.

This goes here, And then we have the roof.

And then there's this overhang That goes on just like so.

Are we ready to start Molding these, then?

Yep.

Redneck: denny already Built the model.

Then, he made molds Of the individual pieces.

Now all we got to do is fill Them with fish-safe material.

Let's do this. All right.

I'll pour.[ laughing ] All right.

Add a little black coloring So we can see what we're doing.

We can just paint it later.

So, right now, I'm rubbing This into the bricks.

Make sure we get all the bubbles And it should be all right.

This is already Starting to harden.

So while the stuff Is still a little bit warm,

We can probably Pull this out now.

Here you go.

The most important thing Is that we see the texture,

That you like the texture.I like the texture.

All right.

And the detail In the stonework, it's great.

If you go back and you Look at the photos,

Every single stone's a Different color river stone.

So, we'll go back And get that painted.

It's gonna be a really, Really beautiful piece.

And rebuild some of the Mountain-scape behind it,

That's the easiest way To do it.

This week, we're building A tank for racecar driver

Kurt bush and his wife, ashley.

We're recreating The caribbean island

And the hotel where They got married.

After some adjustments,

The team is getting Everything cleaned up

And ready for plumbing.

A really nice fish -- We don't see him too often.

He's called a lantern bass.A lantern bass?

Yes. He likes to swim On the bottom.

He's actually a really Good fish to start off with

'cause he's resistant To disease.

Oh, that's always good.So he's hardy?

Yes, he's very hardy. Okay.

And you said they like to be On the bottom of the sand?

Yes, you guys don't Want jumpers...

Right....So he's gonna hang out

At the bottom. He likes rocks and sand.

Well, who doesn't Like a sandy bass?

That fish is so beautiful.

Well, he doesn't look as good As he normally will look, okay.

He's a little stressed. I just got him into the tank.

Once he feels comfortable, he's Gonna be really bright blue.

He'll be a lot prettier Than he is now.

Well, I think he looks Beautiful now,

So I can't wait to see him...

Well, yes, you'll Be really happy.

...You know, In all his glory.

And I like the white stripes.

So, victor, where Can we find these?

Actually the caribbean, The bahamas,

Gulf of mexico.Oh, wow.

They're A very special fish.

They actually have A male and female organ.

Oh, so they're Hermaphroditic.

He'll get along with Anything in the tank.

Oh, my god. That's a jewel damsel.

That fish is amazing.

Beautiful, beautiful fish.

He's very Aggressive, though.

Yes. Well, most damsels

Are aggressive, But they're also super hardy.

Victor, the spots On that fish are beautiful.

Do those change over time?

Yes. They will actually turn To a brown or yellow over time.

And the spots Stay the same?

They'll get a little smaller. That's about it.

And what Do these guys eat?

They will eat Flaked food, mainly,

But they will Eat some shrimp.

Well, I think they're gonna be a Perfect addition to their tank.

So the team's getting The tank packed up

For its cross-country Road trip.

Even without water, this tank Weighs over 900 pounds,

So it takes a lot of manpower To get this thing loaded.

Now we can take the tank For the victory lap.

Nerve-racking? Yeah.

Hey, reef-tastic. What's up, guys?

So, there's a lot going on. You can see the construction.

Okay, we got some bobcats, We got some forklifts.

I just actually Walked down there.

There's a lot of mud. I'm sinking in.

There's definitely A lot of concerns

With this install right now.

There's some terrain That's a little rough,

We got rain coming in,

It looks like it's gonna be Here a while, we got mud.

Kyle, what I'd like you to do is Actually get the big forklift,

Reach out, grab the water.

Water's very heavy, But if it goes,

We're really not Concerned so much.

If the tank goes, We're done.

So let's do a test run With the water first.

And now the large forklift will Extend the stand over the pool

So we can roll it inside.

Going over a pool, It's pretty dangerous.

As you're extending out, The weight's gonna go down.

You got to feel that, kyle, so We don't lose the whole thing.

If you feel it's good, we'll do The same thing with the tank.

The females are more Black and brown,

But the males have A lot more green in them.

They can get up To about six inches,

And they're found in tahiti And the coral sea.

They lay sideways, And they always

Stick their head up And face, even at night.

It's like their protection -- They always burrow themselves.

Last but not least, It's the black cap basslet.

This guy's really cool. See the markings?

It looks like He's got a black cap

That goes straight From his lips

All the way down To his dorsal fin.

And these guys are found in the Caribbean, so they're perfect.

And then we had to get this one Back from a junkyard in vegas.

It was just sitting Out there, rotting away.

We got it back. This is my first-ever racecar.

Me and my dad built that.

The ones that have made Significant impacts

On my racing career.

When I was racing With my dad,

He helped me Build this, as well.

How old were you?This was when I was

17, 18 years old.

And then we'd go and race It at the vegas track

That was in the shadows of the Big las vegas motor speedway.

We didn't have a ton of money, So any car we raced,

We would sell it and then Move on to the next one.

I've had to go and find a few Of them over the years

And then put Them back together.

So, what's up with The little names and stuff?

My dad loves His nicknames for cars,

So "Fidough" is referred To as a junkyard dog.

A lot of these parts came Straight out of the junkyard

In vegas to put this car Together to race it.

That's incredible. I like this a lot.

This is how we worked Our way up, man,

To some of these Championship cars.

But, I got to cross some. I'll show you one more.

It fills the room perfectly.It's so much bigger

And better than I could've ever imagined.

It looks like we're snorkeling In the caribbean right now.

Right?That's the feeling we wanted.

Even little nemo!

It's so little!He's right up front.

So, we filled it with fish Not only from the caribbean

But other fish as well.

Redneck: I did a lot of sculpting,

Hand-created everything You see in here,

Right down to eden rock.

Look at the stonework and The railings and everything.

Way to go, my friend. That is awesome.

This is amazing. You did such a phenomenal job.

Heather: One fish you have in here -- Well, actually, you have two --

Is the watanabei angel.

One is kurt and one is ashley. -oh, cute.

So, sticking to The romantic theme,

We have a valentini Puffer in there.

They have the ability to puff up In air or underwater.

Oh, wow.And some parts of their body

Are actually poisonous, right?Correct. Yeah.

Yeah. So, no touching.No touch.

We have a bluehead wrasse.

And those guys are From the caribbean,

And they're super fast.Kurt: nice.

They start out -- when they're Juveniles, they're all yellow,

But as they mature, they get A blue head and a green body.

We're gonna have to get Some books, read up on things.

Heather: and then next, You have the french angel.

These fish are Super personable.

They're almost like dogs And can connect with you guys.

And these guys are found In the caribbean.

They're found in, you know, The bahamas and bermuda, so

Beautiful fish.

And then, do you guys see How the water is shimmering?

We got kessler lighting,

Which makes it look like You're literally under,

You know, underwater With the shimmer.

Ashley: it's like simulating The sunlight into the water.

Yes. This blows me away.

A-plus. It's amazing to have that feel

That we were looking for, The artistry.

I wanted a friendly tank

And wanted that great feel With the lights

To allow the fish To feel comfortable

And be able to swim around And have enough to space

To stretch their fins out.
