Here in vegas, lusso auto Has been revamping

Their Luxury-car showroom,

And they want to top it off With a showpiece tank.

The first step is to send A crew over there

To move the delicate Reef aquarium

To make room For the new tank.

-hey, guys! -hey, guys!

Have you guys gone in To see the tank yet?

Of course, yeah. We've got all of our stuff here.

We're ready to rock.

Let's get everything Going and get inside.

Agnes: lusso auto, this is where You bring your car

When you want it to be Pampered or customized.

But more than that, It's an incredible showroom

Of ultra luxury And rare cars.

-oh, that is so cool. -that's a beautiful reef tank.

Look how well It's thriving.

Look at the little Clownfish like,

Constantly hiding In that anemone.

That's so cool.

So, they don't get stung By that, right?

Nope. They've developed An extra slime coat,

To where they can live and --

And thrive in 'em, They don't get stung.

The clownfish will actually Feed the anemone

And then the anemone Gives the clownfish

A safe place To hide in the reef.

Both: It's a symbiotic relationship.

They're best friends.

Heather: mike, You're the reef expert.

So, the owners want to move The tank from here

Into, like, their waiting area.

So, what do we have to do To make sure everything is safe?

We've got A big water vat.

We'll transfer all the water Into that, move the aquarium,

And we'll take that water, Fill it right back up.

A lot of those corals Are attached to the rocks.

Mm-hmm.

-they're not coming off. -right.

So, they have to stay Where they're at.

They will keep Themselves wet.

They've got a natural Slime coat to them.

There's corals in the wild And they'll stay out of water

For 45 minutes To an hour at a time.

It's going To be real quick.

Okay, so what we're going To do is perfectly safe.

-yep. -okay, good.

We've got to remember, too, This is glass, so it's heavy.

And then if any of the rock Or anything falls

While we're moving, It can break the tank, too,

So you've got to be really Careful with not only moving it,

But the livestock, as well.

-okay. -all right.

Heather, look how Crazy this anemone

Is when It's out of water.

It looks like wet paint.

Heather: they all look Different, the coral.

Look. -oh, this one right here.

So, are we ready to move This thing, guys?

Once we get the tank Away from the wall...

Temporarily remove Some of the plumbing,

And get ready to lift it With our carts.

It's a pretty intricate Process here.

We've got plenty of room To do a 180,

And we're gonna get it All back full of water

When you order Big-sized sheets,

If it's not in stock,

It could take Weeks on end to get.

How about we take your logo And put your logo, like,

Big, huge, dead center And we light it up?

So, as soon as you walk in, The first thing,

Even at night, somebody goes To put the light on,

People could see it All lit up at night,

It'll be kind of cool.

This week, the shop is buzzing, And we just added

Another tank For our vegas neighbors,

Lusso auto spa.

Dude, that tank's Gonna work for lusso.

-we're golden with that. -we're good to go.

Wayde: after confirming that the Height and length of our tank

Will work for The client's space,

We'll start prepping it For some serious modifications.

Brett: we'll start with A 32-inch steel stand.

For the tank itself, we'll Repurpose a massive aquarium

That we'll cut in Half longways to create

A new 14-foot-long, 6-foot-tall rectangle.

One end will extend Past the wall

To make it viewable From the next room.

A coral insert will cover Most of the back of the tank

And we'll highlight Lusso's logo in the center.

To match the sleek cars, we'll Frame it in a shiny gray facade.

Since the tank will clock In at nearly 1,900 gallons,

We can add up to 100 colorful saltwater fish,

Giving the showroom visitors Some underwater eye candy.

Before we cut the tank to size, We have to disassemble it.

We'll save the coral Insert pieces for a later job.

Brett: He's gonna cut it in half.

We're gonna use One side for one tank

And we'll have An extra tank left over.

Chuy?!

This is a big challenge.

This aquarium is 3 inches thick

And probably weighs About 4,000 pounds.

So, we cut it in half.

You've got 2,000 pounds Each half.

There's a possibility that it Could fall, fold, who knows?

You've got the big saw Today, chuy, huh?

Jumbo.

We're using a mighty, Mighty big saw.

This saw blade is like 15-20 inches.

I don't even know, but it's Like a half a pizza pie.

So, they've got to do Two different passes on it.

One -- first pass is to score The acrylic, the second pass

Is to actually Clean cut through.

Now they're getting ready To do the same thing

On the other side.

Now, when this side Comes apart,

If they're pushing Together a little bit

Or pulling apart A little bit,

That last Little bit could snap.

Pop!

Yes, it could.

So, all we do is hope It's a nice clean cut.

All right, well, let's hope For a clean cut.

Chuy, Super high up here, huh?

Hey! All right, here we go.

-keep your fingers crossed. -I know.

All right, so what We're doing now is,

Chuy's putting Straps on the panel.

Brett: right.

And then he's gonna take The forklift,

Swing it around, Pick up that panel,

And hopefully, This one won't fall.

Hopefully? That's the best you got?

Hopefully? All right, well, let's do this.

Clear.

Make sure We're looking good.

It's got to be cleaned up A little bit.

I think we're good.

Think what We need to do now

Is get the back Ready to be put on,

Get the top and bottom, Check on the inserts

And, uh, this thing's Ready to go.

Now that everything Is cut to size,

It's time to glue On the back and sides.

First, we need to line Everything up perfectly.

Then we lift the panels back up And prep the area to be glued.

It has to be clear Of all debris.

Chuy mixes our secret glue Concoction,

Which he always insists On pouring himself.

Then ever so carefully, We lower the panels back down.

The weight of this tank Is probably enough,

But we clamp it extra tight To push out any bubbles.

Even the smallest air pocket Will compromise the seam.

The glue actually chemically Bonds the two panels together,

So we let it sit and meld Together for over 24 hours.

In the meantime, The team has started

On the huge coral insert.

Everybody knows that Wayde loves his parrots,

But we have so many now,

That we're always advertising To get them good homes.

Hey, wayde. -hey, what's going on?

-this is becca. -hello, hello.

She was interested in possibly Adopting one of our birds.

Oh, very cool. Did you ever Have birds before?

Uh, yes, I grew up with A cockatoo and a macaw.

So, you're a little Educated already?

Yeah.

You know what the responsibility Of owning a bird is, right?

Yes. It's a lot of work, I know.

Yeah, because a lot of people And a lot of reasons

That we wind up With so many birds

Is because people don't realize That it's a lot of work.

Having a pet bird Is a life-long commitment.

They can live over 50 years.

We want to make sure We're giving the bird

To the right person.

I think if we cut this out And that out of this,

We can make this sexy.

Our lazer will crank out these Thin pieces of acrylic quickly,

Cutting them to The exact sizes we need.

They actually have Two different fin colors,

Yellow and gray.

These guys Are actually very shy,

But if you put two together, They're gonna fight.

So, they're not fast, Like the cars?

Fast and sleek.

It's kind of small.

About 7 inches.

What do they eat?

They're actually A meaty fish.

They eat krill shrimp. You name it.

If it's meat, They like it.

What else do you Have to show us?

It's called A gold-rim tang.

It looks like the stripe On that bugatti that they had.

It's very elegant, That's for sure.

Well, actually, They're herbivores.

I've actually seen 'em Eat a zucchini, broccoli.

So, they like their veggies.

He won't eat your coral.

And the coloring of the fish In that reef tank,

It literally is going To make that whole tank pop.

The logo's good to go, So redneck and the team

Are getting it attached To finish the coral insert.

The team has started sanding The first part of the tank.

This is a long, tedious process

That involves many Careful flips of the tank

To make sure We get all the sides.

We've also been working

On the car-inspired Gray-and-black facade,

And it's time to lift This massive tank

Up over the coral insert.

Chuy's gonna raise this thing Above the insert,

Drive in, And lower it down.

So, hopefully, he's got enough Movement to go up far enough,

Get it over that insert.

If not, we're gonna be Figuring out

What we're doing In mid-air.

This is a little Nerve-wracking, no?

Just a little.

And what happened is, Once it hit the water,

You can see through it.

They should still have Program in the machine.

It's been a hobby of mine

For a little more Than 10 years now.

I've got a little bigger And bigger

It was dream come true.

Wayde: the tank here Is 14-feet-long,

3-feet-wide, 6-feet-tall.

It's 1,900 gallons, Okay?

That's incredible.

I think our logo is -- Is probably the best part,

'cause it kind of shines

And it's the centerpiece Of the tank.

Justin: It's a big statement.

As soon as you walk in, boom.

You have the cars And you have the tank.

This matches the hypercars That we have here, for sure.

We should start calling Our stuff, like, "Hypertanks."

So, all the coral is molded Off of real coral.

We didn't do the whole Backdrop in coral.

We wanted to give you The effect of, like,

Looking that It's going further,

So we added a deep blue To give you that effect.

Um, also, too, you guys Wanted something very sleek

And slick that was gonna Fit in with what you've got.

It's exactly what I think We all had in mind.

You guys have well over 100 fish in here.

-wow. -wow.

Some of the special fish In here

That are Actually really cool,

Uh, we got Some unique stuff,

Kind of like you guys

Have one-of-one, You know, unique cars.

We've got you some really, Really unique fish.

So, first off, We have the sohal tang.

It comes From the red sea.

It's one of the rarest tangs That are out there.

These guys are in The surgeon family.

They actually have scalpels

That they use To protect themselves.

That's why they call them Surgeon fish.

Also, too, in here, you have A parrot fish right here.

And those guys, at nighttime, They actually sleep.

They're actually one of The only fish that lay down

And spin a cocoon Around themselves, um,

At nighttime when they sleep.

Also, too, you have An orange spot tusk.

Now, this guy's actually Really cool and really rare.

They actually take Their crustaceans,

Their food, they pick 'em up,

And they actually throw them Against rocks to break them.

-wow. -wow.

Um, it's a really rare thing That the fish do.

They also go to the top And spit water.

Nobody knows why they do that,

But it's just one of the things That these guys do.

So, you've got some pretty rare, Unique fish in here.

Uh, they're all community fish,

They're all gonna get Along well with each other.

One of the coolest Things I notice

Is, like, The scribbled angel.

I know They're really rare.

I just love, like, how all The colors came together.

It -- It looks incredible.

But still giving it To look like you're

Looking deeper Into the ocean,

I think it's A pretty cool effect.

It's an amazing upgrade From the small tank.

They wanted to do Something special.

So, on your reef tank After moving it,

They came up with an idea

To get you guys A little surprise,

Which is a fish For the reef.

They got you A scott's velvet wrasse,

Which is actually A beautiful wrasse.

Doesn't get too big Or too small,

But it's in your tank Over there, too.
